“You think its bucking okay? Hmm? Do you have any idea how much I hate you to the point of shameless indulgence? Do you know the dark that etches deep within, well do you!?”

His hoof hardened into a fist like motion, his face squelching with rage and impatience. His maroon mane tied behind his pink head and his teeth bleeding to the point of painful rage. All around him were wood and books, nothing but books and the loathsome artificial light made by her abominable magic. He looked at his mother with his wings and her horn, such comforting images of both that once were. Now they are a shallow image of someone who could not understand, a empty care that would not be quenched easily.

“As if you could understand how this bucking world works! Your forgetting how bad it is as well! The sufferings that all ponies endure and the nightmares that plague ponies when they burrow themselves in their disgusting hovels. And you expect me to find the meaning in friendship when something like mindless pain and suffering continue to exist in this reality!?”

Twilight Sparkle, tears flowing through her eyes as she saw her son fight her so strongly. Never had she expected her boy to grow up and become… like this. Long has her form been the usual pony-like body she used to have. Now she is but a taller image of her former self. She stood next to the old horse pedestal of her former home. Twilight walked towards her son to grasp him in motherly embrace only for him to step-back.

“Please, Dianthus, I just want whats best for all of ponykind. Can’t you see that? Why can you not see the magic of friendship that I entrusted you to work with? It’s hard I know but friendship is… amazing, something beautiful to have. I know where this stems from, ever since you saw me kill your father I-”

“Don’t speak of him! You took his life as if it was nothing but something you had to do, I saw your face as you made his heart stop like it was nothing! Like he was just some insect to use!”

Dianthus cried as tears flowed down through his face and rage enveloped his veins. Twilight Sparkle regained her authority and her eyes glowed white.

“Dianthus, enough! Return to Canterlot Castle this instant and stop aiding the revolutionaries or else.”

“I will not, you're just going to have to kill me. Well, mother? Will you lose a husband and a son?”

Tears dropped from her eyes and she let out a scream so strong that it knocked Dianthus through the old home breaking the door and getting him flown right into the dirt. She casually walked out as Dianthus rubbed the dirt off from his eyes.

“Now you will return at this instant!” ordered Twilight Sparkle. Dianthus awkwardly grasped something in his trench-coat, it seemed to be the alicorn amulet with its red tinge situating itself on the metal holder.

“No! Dianthus please! Don’t do this! You’ll never be the same!”

“You leave me with no choice, mother… Good Bye.”

“NO!” screamed Twilight Sparkle as she leaped to save her son. Dianthus smashed the amulet right into his body and a red explosion caught her off guard sending her flying into the sky. The red ball of energy settled down and dust slowly settled off only for twin red eyes to be viewed from the dust cloud. Twilight regained arial control and looked down at the smoke cloud evaporating into thin air to showcase a completely red alicorn that had seething energy and powerful legs and a glowing orb situated on the head. Wild streaks of fiery energy worked as some type of mane and tail. He opened his eyes and looked at the distraught Princess Twilight watching horrified at the creature that was once her son.

“Nuah hah hah hah!” The Beast cackled highly. He smiled evilly and stretched out his bat-like wings making the rest of the smoke evaporate away. He disappeared out of sight and surprised the princess Twilight from behind and slammed his right wing at her, sending her falling to the earth. She hit the hard surface of the abandoned ponyville, creating a crater of significant level that it sucked in the ponyville statue and broke it to pieces while destroying some homes.

Twilight stood up from the crater shakily only to meet with The Alicorn Beast in front of her. In less then a second, his horn radiated red magic and an explosion of energy enveloped all around Twilight as he watched and grinned with his sharp teeth. The Beast recovered from the energy bomb to notice all around him was vaporized with no sight of The Princess at all. He suddenly felt something odd and looked up to see her a top of the sky and a sudden blast of purple energy smashed into the ground where The Beast was. Her eyes were glowing profusely with alicorn rage and she dived bombed with all her might right into him leaving a trail of blue light.

The smoke dusted off where Twilight made her finishing move only to see that her hoofs were pressing into nothing. Surprised, suddenly, a powerful smash went right into her skull and she fell into the ground. He pinned her down right on the neck and she could barely move. He grimaced at the blow she made but lifted his hoof ready to finish her off. Princess Twilight closed her eyes with tears pouring and teeth grinding, ready to meet her fate and all from the hoofs of her own son. A sudden scream echoed out and Twilight felt her neck tighten less from his hold. She felt some kind of liquid drip on top of her and she opened her eyes and saw The Alicorn Beast speared right into the earth with some type of yellow crystal that had odd alien facets.

Blood poured out even more from the wound and it splattered all over Twilight’s face. The Beast lost his form and all that was left was Dianthus. Her eyes glimmered with horror from the sudden death of her son. His body completely pierced right into the earth like some worthless skewer, the one she had been with for so long and loved and cherished with all her heart, her most precious. All that was left was an aching pain deep inside that was beyond anything in comprehension, and so she screamed.
