The Elements of Harmony have a brand new adventure to save the galaxy from an sentinel machine race known as the "Slaughterers" by joining commander Shepherd.
It was a quiet afternoon in Ponyville, where everypony was relaxing without a care in the world, all except for one lavender alicorn. Twilight was researching books about ice spells, crystallization, and some books on ember. Besides her was a chemistry set with different kind of potions and other magical liquids. Spike came down stairs with a bunch of books and sat them besides Twilight then finally and asked.
“Twilight what are you doing again?”
Twilight didn’t stop reading and just answered. “I’m trying to perfect my freeze spell potion that I failed to attempt to make when I was a filly.” Twilight then trotted to her chemistry set and began to mix potions. “Now can you please leave Spike, I need full concentration to perfect this potion.”
Spike did what Twilight asked and was about to leave till he asked. “Do you need anything? I’m going to the market.”
Twilight looked over her set and noticed that there was one ingredient that was missing. She turned to Spike and asked. “Yes, I missing the non-advance time formula potion for my freeze spell potion.” Twilight then levitated a picture of her missing ingredient to Spike. “This is what it looks like. So can you pick it up?”
Spike grabbed the picture and before he left the library he proudly answered. “You can count one your number one insistent.”
Spike left the library and headed off to the market to help Rarity to carry all of her newly bought supplies for her store and to get the potion that Twilight asked for.

Spike got to the market carrying the load of cloth and gems for her new dress that her client needs. Rarity was talking to a store manager about if he had any green rubies.
“Sorry Ms. Rarity, but we don’t have any green rubies.” The shop keeper said. “We do have a lot of yellow rubies though.” He opened a truck of yellow rubies.
“Oh that’s quite alright, I’ll see if any other store has them, but thanks for the offer.” Rarity then turned around and trotted away to another store to look for the gems that were needed. “Come along Spike we got a lot more shopping to do.” Spike did want the beautiful white mares said and followed her. Then he remembered another reason why he came. He walked up to Rarity and asked.
“Ah Rarity I just remembered that I need to get Twilight a potion for her. Can we quickly get it for her?”
Rarity turned to Spike and answered. “Of course we can Spikey-Wikeyny anything for one of my best friends.” Rarity then went to a potion store and before she spoke to the shop keeper she asked Spike. “What kind of potion does she need?”
Spike was about to answer but he forgot what Twilight needed. Thought for a moment till he remembered what she needed. “She needs an advance time potion.” Spike didn't realize that Twilight actually asked for non-advance potion for her set.
Rarity turned back to the shop keeper and asked. “Alright do you have any advance time potions my good sure?” The shop keeper looked around for a bit till he picked up a potion and hoofted to her and said.
“Her you go Ms. Rarity, that’ll be 40 bits.”
“Oh really, well will you give me that potion for 10 bits instead?” Rarity asked while tossing her mane around and gave the shop keeper the romantic eyes. The shop keeper was hypnotized by her beauty and Spike was also in charmed by the mare that he had a crush on.
“Ummm Alright Ms. Rarity I can lower the price for 10 bits.” Rarity levitated the potion out of the shop keeper’s hoof and replaced it with 10 bits. “Thank you good sure, we’ll be going now.” Rarity and Spike then went to other businesses to get the rest of Rarity’s supplies. The shop keeper just stared and said.
“Come again.”

Rarity and Spike were now going home till they saw Pickiepie acting strange again. They both looked at each other and then went to Pinkie Pie and Rarity asked her.
“Pinkie Pie what are you doing?”
Pinkie then turned towards Rarity and answered. “My Pinkie sense is acting up again.” Pinkie then went under a table looking upwards.
Spike jump up in shock then looked up in the sky and asked. “Nothing isn't going to fall will it.”
Pinkie got up and answered. “Of course not, when my tail shakes then something is going to fall.” Pinkie then got close to them. “My entire body is shaking.”
Rarity rolled her eyes and trotted up to Pinkie Pie. “What will happen this time, is Twilight going to believe in something else that would shock you?” Rarity said in a sarcastic tone.
“No, something really really really big is going to happen. I just don’t know what.” Pinkie Pie then ran away from the two and said. “I need to warn the others of my Pinkie sense.”
Pinkie was gone in a second; Spike and Rarity just looked at each other and then trotted to Twilight’s home.

Back at the library Twilight was still researching for her freeze spell. Twilight was flipping pages till she saw a bottle under one of the books, she picked it up and saw it was her missing time potion. She was relieved that she found it but then she remembered that she just send Spike to retrieve another one. She slapped her hoof to her face realizing that she just send Spike on a pointless errand for her.
“Well at least I’ll have a spare.”
Then Spike and Rarity came in with Spike holding the advance time potion in his claws. Spike smile and brought the potion to Twilight and said.
“Here you go Twilight.”
Twilight put her right hoof behind her head and said. “Sorry Spike but I actually found the time potion that I needed.” Twilight then levitated the potion out of Spike’s claws and read the label. “Besides I needed the non-advance time potion, this is an advance time potion.”
Spike’s smile disappeared to replace a look of failure. Twilight notice this and then comforted the baby dragon by saying. “It alright Spike, you still helped me to perfect my spell, and that want counts.”
The baby dragon smiled again hearing Twilight saying that he still did good. Rarity then trotted up to Twilight and asked.
“Darling what are you doing?”
Twilight was about to answer till the door opened again revealing mares, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash. Pinkie Pie had told them about her pickie sense and that they needed to meet at Twilight’s place to figure out what is going to happen.
Pinkie Pie then went in front of Twilight grabbing her then shaking her while she said. “Twilight, my Pinkie sense is acting up!” Pinkie Pie then went to the windows and closed them. “My entire body is shaking again!”
“Pinkie Pie, you now that I believe in your Pinkie sense since the Hydra incident.” Twilight said being a little dizzy. “So I don’t think I am involved with your Pinkie sense.” Twilight went to levitating the time potion to pour it in her freeze spell potion. But because of her dizziness she accidentally levitated the advance time potion and poured it in her freeze spell potion instead.
“Come on Twilight, you know something bad always happens when Pinkie has her Pinkie sense.” Spike said in a nervous tone.
Twilight then began to pour a little drop of her last ingredient to finish her freeze spell potion. “Well whatever it is, it won’t break my concentration, just need to put this little drop in my freeze spell potion to be finished.” Twilight then noticed that her desk was a bit dusty. “I can’t work with all of this dust.”
Twilight then got a feather duster to get rid of the dust, but when she did Spike inhaled the dust making him sneeze fire. With the sudden burst of flames Twilight jump back dropping the last ingredient into the freeze spell potion. The freeze spell potion suddenly erupts into energy of blue light that envelop the six mares and dragon.
“Quick! Run for i-“
Twilight didn’t finish her sentence when the blue energy froze both her and her friends in a block of ice that could not melt till the spell wore off… in the next 280 years.
Deep in space three stallions are talking about one stallion for a mission.
“Well what about Shepherd? Trinity born but no record on his family.”
“Doesn’t have one, he was born on the streets. Learned to look after himself.”
“The stallion lost his entire unit on Ahooves. He could have extreme emotional scars.”
“That’s also where he got his cutiemark, he’s a surviver.”
“Is that the kind of pony we want to protect the galaxy?”
“He is the only kind of pony for this dutie.”
In 2053 the ponies of Trinity went to its nearest planet Marez for possibly colonizing it. But when they got there, they found an ancient alien artifact that advance pony kind technology by 300 years. And the name of the alien technology was dubbed…

In Canterlot, there was a room below the royal palace that the only held six mares and a baby dragon in a block of ice. Most days the block of ice just sat there frozen, not melting or anything… till now. The block of ice was melting linking water on the ground till it suddenly turned into water in an instant, where it released the group of ponies and dragon.
“-it!”
Twilight finally said her last word before she was stuck in the block of ice. She then ran into a wall thinking that the direction was her library door. She rubbed her head feeling the pain of ramming her head.
“Ow, where’s my door?” Twilight asked till she looked around the room they were in and noticed that they weren’t even in the library. “Where are we?”
Applejack then trotted up to Twilight and asked. “I thought you would know.” She then gave Twilight a serious face. “You did make that potion.”
“Maybe she accidentally transported us.” Rainbow said while flying around. “She does know how to transport.” “This wasn't a transport spell Rainbow, this is was a freeze spell that went wrong.” Twilight thought for a moment till she spoke again. “We may have been moved from the library to somewhere else when we were frozen.”
Rarity then trotted to Twilight and said. “Well it better not been long.” Rarity then went to her now soaked supplies to see if they are salvageable. “I need to work on my client’s dresses as soon as possible.”
“Hey girls look there’s a door over there!” Rainbow Dash yelled. The other mares looked at the door and Twilight immediately went to open it and said.
“Alright girls let get out of here.”
With that, Twilights friends and her assistant went along with her outside of the room to find they were in a hallway that was different. The hallway looked extra clean and there were moving words on glass screens. The mares look in aw till Applejack then asked.
“Where the heck are we?”
Before any of them could answer they heard a voice behind them. “Hey you’re not allowed to be here.” They turned around to see a pony with strange armor that covered is entire body and face. “You are under arrest for trespassing in a restricted area.”
“Look we can explain.” Twilight said trying to reason with the guard. Then something extended from the back of his armor, the object looked almost like a crossbow but very different and more intimidating. With that Fluttershy then ran off from the group. “Fluttershy wait!”
Twilight ran with Spike on her back including the rest of her friends. “Halt or I will open fire.” The group of mares and dragon didn’t listen and just kept running trying to catch up with Fluttershy. “Well then you give me no choice.”
Suddenly the guard began firing at the group, Twilight looked at the little blue energy blasting from the guard and thought. ‘Those don’t look like arrows, more like magical energy bursts.’ Then one of the unknown blasts scraped her cheek. Her cheek hurt and then it began to bleed. “Keep running!”
The group then saw light from a door and quickly ran towards it to get out side. Twilight opened the door with her magic and they all got out, but when they did they were shocked to see that they were in a city that looked like no other city they have ever saw. The city they were in looked like it was made out of metal and glass with towers standing high above in the sky and more strangely enough they saw flying wagon like vehicles without a Pegasus pulling them, they looked around till they found that they were on a balcony of the royal palace of Canterlot. The group of mares and dragon just stood there till Twilight asked to herself.
“When are we?”
Then a bright purple mare appeared in front of them, she looked like a ghost except that there were wires like vanes all over its body. The mare answered Twilight’s question.
“The time is 10:26AM, and date is April 11th, 2285.”
The mare disappeared leaving the group of friends in shock. ‘We were frozen for 280 years.’ Twilight thought in her head trying to take everything in. The group did absolutely nothing till suddenly they were surrounded by guards.
“You are all under arrest for fleeing from the Royal Guard.” One of the guards said. “Now come peace fully or we will open fire.”
The group were now even more shocked that the ponies pointing their weapons at them were really the royal guard. Twilight was about to explain till another voice spoke.
“Stand down captain, there friends of mine.”
Twilight and the others looked where the familiar voice was and saw it was an alicorn they all know of and they all spoke her name.
The princess was standing in front of the group of friends that were happy to see her, but not as much happier then Twilight. She ran to Celestia and hugged her; Celestia in response hugged her old student back for not seeing her in a long time… literally.
Seeing this, the royal guards pointed their weapons at Twilight and the captain spoke. “Step away from the princess immediately or you will be shot!” The guards were now ready to fire their weapons till Celestia said.
“I said stand down captain.”
“But princess they’re intruders that were in a restricted zone and that one just ran at you like she was going to-” Before the captain could finish Celestia finished his sentence with a different word.
“To hug me.”
The captain just stood in his spot for a moment till he gave a signal and saying. “Stallions, weapons down.” After that the rest of the royal guards put their weapons on their backs.
Celestia turned around to look at Twilight and saw that her left cheek was bleeding and with that she wore a worried look and asked. “Are ok Twilight?” Twilight just nodded and the Celestia looked at her friends. “Are all of you alright?”
“Well besides being shot at by those royal guards, and then realizing that we were frozen for about 280 years, yeah we’re ok.” Rainbow Dash answered in a sarcastic tone.
Celestia smiled at Rainbow Dash’s sarcastic tone but then wore a serious face and said. “Yes, I know Rainbow.” She then looked at the rest of the group. “Follow me and I’ll explain everything to you all.”

Later on Twilight and her friends followed princess Celestia to the throne room seeing that even in the future it hasn’t change much. They then saw princess Celestia on her throne beside her sister’s. Luna eyes widen when seeing that the elements of harmony were finally free from their frozen state. Celestia sat on her throne next Luna and told her what happened, Luna nodded and then went to somewhere else. When Luna was gone Celestia turn her gaze to Twilight and asked.
“I suppose you have many questions that I should answer, right?”
“Yes and my first question is why are we this far into the future?” Twilight asked with a worried face trotting a few steps forward. “My freeze spell potion wasn’t supposed to be this long?”
“Yes well it took me time to figure out what happened, and I found what the reason was.” Celestia answered then she lifted an empty potion bottle sitting behind her throne for this day to come. “You put an advance time potion in your freeze spell potion.” Celestia then gave Twilight a questionable look and asked. “Why would you use this?”
Twilight thought for a moment till she remembered that Spike brought her the wrong time potion and that with all of the dizziness she must have levitated that instead. ‘Errrr I’m such a nincompoop to put the wrong one!’ Twilight yelled in her head.
Spike then walked up to Twilight and said. “I’m sorry Twilight this is all my fault.” Spike put his claws to his face of being ashamed. Twilight trotted to Spike and said.
“No Spike this isn’t yours or anyponies fault. It was just bad luck, that’s all.”
With that Spike smiled and hugged Twilight till Applejack faced the princess and asked. “Well how are we supposed to get back to our time princess?” Celestia put her head down and answered.
“I’m sorry my little ponies, but there is no way to send you back.”
Celestia’s answer shocked the elements of harmony, now they don’t have any ways to go back to their own time. Rarity then whispered to herself.
“Guess that means I missed my client’s order.” She then hanged her head down and began to tear up. “And I didn’t even had a chance to say goodbye to Sweetie Belle.”
Pinkie Pie with her hair strait and her eyes watery asked. “So we’ll never going to see our friends ever again?” Celestia just nodded to answer and that’s when Pinkie broke down and started crying. “I didn’t even through a ‘Goodbye Forever Party”.
It was all quiet in the throne room till Luna came back and guest what had happened and asked. “I supposed you answered their questions?” Celestia only nodded again feeling the ponies in front of her their pain till Luna said. “Sister, I reported what happened and the counsel would want to see the elements of harmony bearers.”
Celestia then raised her head towards Luna with a shocked face and asked. “Why would the counsel want to see them?” Celestia then got up and trotted to Luna. “This doesn’t involve them.”
“They’re curious sister; the bearers purified me of evil, defeated and reform Discord, and many other times they defended Equestria from our enemies.” Luna spoke back to her sister before taking a few steps back. “Plus this might help us get a seat in the counsel.”
Celestia stood still for a moment thinking of want to do till she answered. “Alright, send them a message that they would be there when the S.S.P. Ponyville arrives.” With that princess Luna left and Celestia faced the group of friends. “You will all need to prepare for your new journey my little ponies.” Twilight trotted up to the princess and asked.
“Journey? Journey to what?”
Celestia simply trotted past Twilight and her friends and gave them a signal to follow them and said. “I’m sorry Twilight I can’t answer any more questions, but you can ask other ponies.” With that Twilight and the group stayed quiet and followed Celestia.

Twilight and her friends followed the princess to a hanger like room and saw a weird looking ship docked, being hold by some kind of circular disks. Twilight and her friends were confused of why a ship is all the way from the nearest body of water. They were about to ask why it’s here till a dark brown stallion with a black mane and a whistle blower for a cutiemark and said.
“You’re probably wondering why theirs a ship here all the way from water, hm.”
“Good to see you again captain.” Celestia greeted the old stallion while he bowed before her.
“It’s an honor princess.”
Celestia then turned to Twilight. “Twilight I like to introduce captain Antlerson.” Antlerson then trotted up shook Twilights hoof. “He will be bringing you to the Citadel.”
“The Citadel? What’s that?” Twilight asked Celestia but Antlerson answered for her.
“The Citadel is the headquarters of the League of Races.” Antlerson then looked at the entire group. “The League of Races are alien races that band together to bring order and peace to other races.”
“Wait wait wait wait wait. Did you just say aliens?” Applejack spoke up looking at Antlerson. “Ya’l telling me that there are little green aliens that make crop circles?”
“Yes, aliens do exist, but I should advise you not to mention those terms in front of them. To them it’s racist.” Antlerson turned his gaze to Applejack seeing a look of regret. “There’s actually a Turian on board of the Ponyville. His name is Neylis, you can talk to him about his race.”
“What did you say about Ponyville?” Twilight asked.
“The S.S.P. Ponyville is the Pony Alliance’s most advance frigate in our navy.” Antlerson turned to the Ponyville. “We called her that because that is where you and your friends have saved Equestria more than once.”
Celestia looked at the group and asked. “Do you have any more questions before you board?” Twilight looked at her friends then shook her head. “Good now go with the captain.” Antlerson escorted them to the entrance to the Ponyville and said.
“You can take your seats inside, I need to speak to somepony else before we go.”

With that, he left them and headed to a nearby locker room. In the locker room was a light brown stallion with a dark grey mane with a N7 as his cutiemark and a scar across his left eye. He was putting on his combat suit which had two white stripes and in the middle a red stripe on his right fore hoof of the suit. Just after he put it on, Antlerson came and said.
“Commander Shepherd, I see you’re ready to leave.”
Shepherd stood up and saluted.
“Yes captain.”
“Good, but before we leave I have a new assignment for you.” Antlerson said then began to pace around the room. “Have you ever heard of the bearers of the Elements of Harmony?”
Shepherd nodded and answered. “They were heroines two centuries ago and since then there have been no ponies the can wield the Elements.”
“That because there still alive.”
Shepherd raised an eyebrow and asked. “What do you mean?”
Antlerson stopped his pace and looked at Shepherd. “Unknown for the public the bearers were actually frozen by a mishap freeze spell.” Shepherd then gave a look saying ‘I know where this is heading.’ “And just recently they finally got out of their spell, plus the counsel found out about it and they have requested to meet them face to face.”
“And now I need to protect them till they get to the Citadel.” Shepherd responded.
“Exactly commander, this will be one part of your assignment but the rest I will explain when we get to Eden Octimus.” Antlerson then looked deep into Shepherd eyes with a serious face. “Can I trust you to get the job done?” Shepherd stood attention with a solute and proudly answered.
“I’ll protect them with my life captain.”
With that both of them left the locker room and went to the Ponyville to begin their mission that unknowingly will soon send them all into saving the Galaxy.
The group of friends and dragon went inside the ship, to the right they saw the pilot, and to the left they saw a hallway. They went through the hallway to see a triangle like shape with a map of the galaxy floating over it. Twilight was amazed of how much ponies advanced to the future that she wanted to learn more about and asked.
“This ship is so… amazing.”
“Yes, that’s because it’s was co-developed by the ponies and my race.” A voice said behind the group. They turned around and found that the voice came from a pony like creature that its head looked like a type of insect would have, even its hooves were insect like. They just stared at him till he said. “Are you going to keep staring or are you going to ask me a question?”
Twilight regain composer and answered. “Sorry we didn’t mean to stare at you.” Twilight then looked at her friends that were still staring. “Right?”
The other mares and dragon regain composer for they wouldn’t offend the alien any further. Applejack trotted to him and said. “You must be Neylis, the captain said that you are a uh...” Applejack tried to remember what his species name is but was cut off by Neylis.
“Turian, yes I am and you must be the ‘Elements of Harmony’ I recently heard of.” He looked at all of them that even though they gave nervous smiles he still could see that they still can’t believe that there seeing an alien. “And don’t worry about the stare part. I can only imagine what you seven are going through.” All six mares a dragon sighed in relief that he wasn’t angry at them for their rudeness earlier. “Well you should buckle in. This ship is about to lift off in three minutes.”
With that he left them and the group went to the lower deck to get ready for the Ponyvilles departure. They sat in their quarters when they heard a humming noise from the lower deck then suddenly the ship began to lift off into the sky. Twilight looked out of the window seeing that they are going through Trinity’s atmosphere and into space. The rest of the mares minus for Spike for being a little air… Space sickness looked out of the window seeing their entire solar system. They saw the planet Marez and then the planet Unicornus. Twilight was so excited seeing the planets that in the past could only observe them by telescope, and then she saw a strange device nearby the dwarf planet Plutail. The device looked like a giant horse shoe with two circling rings spinning around a blue energy sphere in the middle of the horse shoe. The mares were wondering what it is till they realize that the ship was getting closer to and then the pilot’s voice came out of the ship’s speakers.
“Approaching the Mass Stalray, all crew standing by.”
The ship got closer and then the energy from the Mass Stalray stretch out to the Ponyville and surrounded it into a blue ore, and then in a blink of an eye the ship went into faster than light jump to their destination.

Somewhere else Shepherd in his N7 armor trotted up to the pilot room to see what’s happening. He stopped and looked at the stallion in the cockpit and was going to ask him a question till Neylis came and spoke first.
“How’s the ship’s speed helmsman Monstal?”
“15 knots and stabilizing. And call me Joker.”
“15 is good, your captain would be pleased ‘Joker’.”
Neylis then trotted out of the pilot room. “I hate that stallion.” Joker said, the stallion next to him replied.
“Neylis gave you a compliment, so you hate him.”
“Hey copying your flank on a copier without getting caught is good Hayden.” Joker said while concentration on flying. “I just went through FTL jump without slowing down for a second, so that is worth a compliment. I know, because I did both.”
Then the com from captain Antlerson came up and asked. “Joker how long will we get to Eden Octimus?”
“About 15 minutes or less captain.” Joker replied to Antlerson. “Oh and Neylis is coming down to see you captain.”
“I know Joker he’s right next to me.”
With that captain Antlerson com went silent and Shepherd said. “He sounds angry.” He then trotted out of the pilot room. “Something must have gone wrong.”
“He always sounds like that when talking to me commander.” Joker said.
“Don’t know why?” Hayden sarcastically said.

In the quarter deck of the Ponyville the 6 friends and baby dragon began to trot around the Ponville when they heard two ponies speaking with each other. They trotted up to the two ponies and Twilight asked.
“Um excuse me but can you tell us your names?”
The two ponies turned to face the group and the young stallion of the group answered. “I’m Jump In and this is Bandage heart.” Twilight was about to introduce themselves till Jump In spoke. “And you’re Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack, and Fluttershy. The bearers of the elements of harmony.”
Twilight was quite shocked knowing that word of their presence have already spread in just a short amount of time and said. “Um yes that’s us.” She wanted to ask him how he knew them but she decided to brush it off and asked another question. “So what were you two talking about?”
Jump In was going to answer but Bandage heart answered first. “We we’re just talking about Commander Shepherd.” She then glanced at Jump In. “And about the Spectres, right private Jump In?”
“Come on doc you have to admit that Shepherd would make a good Spectre.” He also glanced to the doctor. “He proved he can after he lost his entire unit on Ahooves.”
Rainbow then poke up and asked. “Who’s this Commander Shepherd?”
“The commander is one of the legendary marines in the Pony Alliance military.” Jump In proudly said. “He’s the only survivor the came out of Ahooves.”
“What yal talking about this Ahooves, is it some kind of place?” Applejack asked.
“It’s a planet that was going to be colonized until a Pony Alliance unit of 50 ponies were killed by dozens of thresher maws, and is now considered to hostile that the Pony Alliance decided to abandon it.” Bandage Heart said.
“What’s a thresher maw?” Fluttershy asked. “Is it some kind of animal?”
“Thresher maws are like giant worms that are similar to quarray eels, just a lot more aggressive.” Bandage answered.
“Yeah and Shepherd was in that unit when it happened.” Jump In said. “The commander is the only one that made it out of Ahooves after witnessing his entire unit die in front of him, isn’t that awesome!”
Rainbow Dash then flew in front of Jump In with a frown on her face and said. “I don’t think he feels awesome about what happened to him.”
Jump In back away a few steps and said. “Sorry didn’t mean to disrespect the commander. I’m just saying that he earns to be a Spectre.” Jump then poked up again. “He did get his cutie mark after Ahooves.”
“Wait he got his cutie mark after Ahooves, how old is he?” Twilight asked. “And what is a spectre?”
“The commander is about a couple of years older then you, he was a very late bloomer, trying anything he can to get his cutie mark till he was sent to Ahooves.” Bandage answered again. “And the spectres are agents that work for the counsel. You can ask Neylis for more questions about them, he is one of them.”
“Nah I’ll tell them doc. Spectres are top of the line agents that do secret missions for the counsel.” Jump In proudly said. “They are also above the law so they can break any rules or laws to get the mission done.” Applejack then perked up and said.
“I don’t think it’s a good idea putting someone with the power to break laws.”
Bandage Heart then stepped in and answered. “Maybe but sometimes necessary, and the Pony Alliance been trying to get one of their own in the spectres for years.”
Twilight was going to ask another question till Joker spoke through the com system of the entire ship.
“This is your pilot Joker of the Ponyville telling the elements of harmony and commander Shepherd that captain Antlerson would want to see all of you in the board room on the command deck.”

The mares trotted up to the command deck and saw at the entrance of the board room a light brown earth pony stallion waiting for them. He stood attention with a salute and said.
“I’m Commander Shepherd of the Pony Alliance, I’ll be guarding you till we reach the Citadel mams.”
Twilight smiled and said. “It’s good to finally meet you Shepherd.”
Shepherd smiled as well and responded.
“Likewise princess.”
“Please call me Twilight.”
“Alright Twilight let’s see what the captain wants.”
With that Shepherd and the elements went in and instead of Antlerson they see Neylis in the room looking at a screen of a valley and asked. “Shepherd what can you tell me about Eden Octimus?” He then turned around to look at the group and Shepherd answered.
“I heard it’s a paradise in these parts of the galaxy.”
“Yes a paradise that is beautiful, peaceful, and safe.” Neylis said while pacing around then stopping. “But how safe is it really?”
“What do you mean?” Shepherd asked raising an eyebrow.
“You ponies are new to the galaxy Shepherd, and the galaxy can be a dangerous place.” Neylis answered.
Then Antlerson came inside the room and said. “I think it’s time to tell the commander why he’s here.”
“I knew there something that didn’t fit.” Shepherd responded.
“Shepherd your second part of the mission is to extract an Eochippus beacon that was found on Eden Octimus.” Antlerson said. Twilight raised an eyebrow and asked.
“What’s an Eochippus beacon?”
“An Eochippus beacon is an artifact from an ancient alien species called Eochippus’es that ruled the galaxy 50,000 years ago but then suddenly vanished without a trace.” Neylis answered. “They also build the Citadel and the Mass Stalrays making intergalactic space travel possible.”
“This isn’t the first time a beacon was discovered.” Antlerson said. “232 years ago we ponies found an Eochippus beacon on Marez that advanced our technology by 300 years, and if we didn’t found it, ponies would still be stuck in our solar system.”
“Yes, and who knows what this beacon could hold.” Neylis replied. “It might even hold blueprints of a super weapon. And that’s why this is top secret.”
Shepherd was still confused and asked. “I still don’t know why I need to do this mission.” Shepherd then looked at the 6 mares. “And why they are also a part of this.”
“This mission is also one out of many tests for you commander, because you were recommended by Neylis to be the first pony spectre.” Antlerson said, and then he turned his gaze to the 6 mares. “And the elements of harmony would also recommend you as spectre to the counsel, hopefully raising the chances.”
Neylis stepped forward and said. “Your captain is right; I’ll be observing you for several-.” Neylis didn’t finish his sentence when Joker’s voice suddenly spoke from the com.
“Captain, we just received emergency message from Eden Octimus, playing the message now!”
Everyone then looked at a large screen that showed a fire fight on a field with a soldier speaking into a camera. “Mayday mayday, were under attack we need help right-!” The soldier got shot by an unknown enemy. The others kept fight till they heard a load horn and the soldiers looked up to see a giant tentacle coming down out of the clouds. The screen went into static and Joker said.
“That’s where the message ends sure.”
Antlerson then spoke to the ship’s VI and said. “Play the video again.” The video played again till Antlerson said. “Stop.” The video stopped at when the tentacle came down. Antlerson gazed at the image and said. “Everypony suit up!” He then turned to look at the others. “This mission just got a lot more complicated.”
Shepherd still stared at the image thinking. ‘I have a bad feeling about this.’
