Data Shift had finally done it. He had harnessed the power of electricity and stored it on something simple. The electrical flow activated a mechanism to move two little bits of plastic around at a precise speed. Data Shift had invented Equestria's first electric clock.
"Hey now, wait a minute," He said, looking at it. He then looked at the clock on his wall. "This is displaying the wrong time!"
He turned the electric clock over and looked at the back. Nothing. He facehoofed. He had forgotten to put in something to turn the hands faster. He focused his horn at the hands and began to use magic to move it. A crackle of electricity escaped and shocked his horn.
"Ouch!" He cried.
He tried again with more magical energy. More electricity unleashed itself, but Data Shift avoided it and tried again even harder. Then, in a flash of white, the clock exploded. Lightning flew everywhere, singeing his laboratory and eventually destroyed the building. The white flash and electricity kept spreading and spreading. As it got bigger, the flash slowly turned green and started to devour everything living and destroy anything inanimate in its path.

Twilight Sparkle set down the letter she had received and stopped reading it to her friends.
"An 'electric clock'," Applejack repeated "Sounds like a fine amount of trouble to me."
"You just don't like anything that doesn't involve hard labour." Joked Rainbow Dash.
"A job should only be done by th' hoof of a pony to be a sure thang." Applejack recited from her head.
"I think it sounds rather convenient," Rarity said, "Could you imagine an electrical sewing machine? It would make my life so much easier!"
"Never mind your work!" Pinkie Pie laughed, "Imagine something that could automatically make candy!"
Whilst Pinkie Pie was licking her lips at the delicious thought, Twilight reread the letter.
"So we need to make our way to the outskirts of Manehatten to see Data Shift's presentation demonstrating the clock. I trust you all packed in advance like I asked?" She reminded her friends.
Everypony was wearing large saddlebags. They intended to stay in Manehatten for a week or so to see sights and go shopping as well as go to Data Shift's unveiling. They began to walk out the door as Pinkie Pie blabbered on about an electric sweet maker.
"Alright, lets make our way to the train station." Lead Twilight.
"Could you imagine an electric train? It'd go so fast!" Smiled Rainbow Dash.
"Oh I don't know," Fluttershy worried, "It would be awfully dangerous and much too fast..."
"I think it sounds like a great idea!" Spike said, ignoring Fluttershy completely.

The ponies waited for their train to arrive. It would take some time to reach Manehatten, so they were boarding a sleeper train. Rainbow Dash caught sight of somepony and hid behind her friends.
"Oh great. Derpy's coming too." She whispered.
Derpy looked around then saw a glimpse of Rainbow's cutie mark and began to gallop towards the group.
"Hey Wainbow Daff!" She shouted, "How's my favouritest pony doing?"
Rainbow crept out from behind her crowd and awkwardly spoke to the pony that annoyed her so much.
"Oh...h-hey Derpy. I'm good. Good, yeah, good. How are you?" She groaned.
"Oh, I'm good too! Are you going to thif pre-sen-ta-shun too?" Derpy asked, struggling on such a long word.
"Erm..yeah. Sounds...interesting don't you think?" Rainbow replied.
"I dunno what the letter meant but I had to deliver it to everypony. Doctor Whooves really sounded intwested in going." She looked behind her, Doctor Whooves was stamping on the ground, "I gotta go, guys! See ya around!" She ran off back to her friend and everypony sniggered, looking at Rainbow Dash. They then burst into uncontrollable laughter.
"Hey 'Wainbow Daff'," Laughed Spike, "Was that your best fwend?"
The ponies kept laughing, then Rainbow saw the train approaching.
"Hey guys..guys! Concentrate! The train's here!" She tried to distract them.
They averted their attention to the train and boarded it the moment the doors opened. They claimed their beds and began to chat the night away.

Everypony was sleeping. Fluttershy slowly opened her eyes and drew the curtain next to her. She squinted and squeed at the bright light that came through the window.
"Morning already?" She mumbled, opening the curtain fully, "But there are still stars in the sky." Twilight woke up too.
"Fluttershy, you're awake. Are you alright?" She asked with a yawn.
"Of course, thank you Twilight. But it's morning and the stars are still out." She replied.
Twilight, opposite Fluttershy, looked out her window.
"It looks like the middle of the night, Fluttershy. What do you mean?" She asked.
Fluttershy looked confusingly at Twilight's dark view, then at her bright sight.
"Look out my window." She said.
"Why? It's gonna be no dif--Oh Celestia that's bright!" Twilight said, shielding her eyes from the intense light.
The light filled the carriage, waking up the other ponies and Spike.
"Mornin' everypony." Applejack said, looking out her window and shielding her eyes.
"It can't possibly be morning!" Said Rarity, looking at the dark, then light sides of the carriage.
Then the light filled the carriage, which started to shake violently and disintegrate. Everypony screamed, but then stopped, realising that they were alright. They were floating on nothing, surrounded by the green light. Then there was a loud bang and the screaming continued, ponies all over the place where running around screaming, confused as to what was going on. A flash of yellow came over the ponies and they began to feel tingly. Then a flash of white blinded everypony.

Twilight Sparkle woke up, but kept her eyes closed. She continued to hug the cuddly toy she held. Then she opened her eyes. She had no cuddly toy. She looked down and saw a brown and pink creature, breathing softly asleep. Twilight accidentally threw it in shock and looked around, seeing she was in a forest clearing. It woke up and rubbed its head, then looked at Twilight.
"Hey. I didn't scare you did I?" It said.
"W-what kind of creature are you?" Asked Twilight curiously. She was not scared.
"Why, a Digimon of course! I'm Lopmon! What Digimon are you?" Lopmon returned a question.
"I'm not a 'Digimon'," Twilight said, "I'm a pony and my name is Twilight Sparkle."
"A pony? I've heard of a Ponymon before. But you're not a Digimon you say? Then that makes you..." Lopmon gasped, "Follow me!"
Lopmon rushed off, looking back for Twillight to follow, so she did. Then Twilight saw something behind a bush to her right.
"Applejack?" She shouted.
"Twilight!" Applejack's voice returned from behind the bush.
"Oh, is that your friend?" Asked Lopmon.
Applejack came through the bush with a Digimon too. It was a reptile Digimon but it looked kind of like a dog.
"Twilight! Y'all got one of them Digimans too? This here is Gabumon." She introduced her new friend.
"Well hello, Gabumon. I'm Twilight Sparkle. Applejack, this is Lopmon." She said, Lopmon took a bow.
"Your other friends aren't too far off. Well, other ponies at least. Let's go find them." Gabumon suggested.
Applejack and Twilight nodded to each other and began to walk, until they heard a scream.
"Fluttershy!" The two said and began to run in the direction of the scream.

Fluttershy screamed, looking at the creature in front of her. Applejack and Twilight quickly ran in next to her.
"You are so adorable!" Fluttershy said with a huge smile on her face, "My name is Fluttershy! What's yours?"
"I'm Patamon!" The orange winged creature in front of her smiled back.
"Well aren't you just the cutest little thing ever?" She said.
"Fluttershy! Y'all had us mighty worried! We thought that was a scream o' terror." Applejack panted.
"Oh, no. It was a scream of adorableness! Look at little Patamon here!" She said, holding up the Digimon.
"Well at least you're okay. That's three of us. Where are the other four, then?" Twilight asked Lopmon.
"There's one just flying down here now." Lopmon pointed to the sky.
Rainbow Dash came down to the ground fast, with a bird Digimon at her side. It was black with a purple vest.
"I gotta say, Falcomon, you Digi-folk are pretty darn fast!" She laughed.
"Well, those of us who can fly that is." Falcomon pointed.
"There's Rainbow." Applejack pointed out.
"We saw Rarity, Pinkie and Spike when in the sky," Rainbow commented, "We saw this group here so we decided to take you to 'em. This is Falcomon by the way."
"Pleased to meet you." Falcomon added.

Rainbow led the group to Rarity, who was talking to a puppy-like Digimon.
"Oh do go on!" Rarity said, ruffling her hair.
"I like to keep myself groomed, but your coat is very shiny! I like the symbol on your side!" The Digimon said.
"This, my dear Salamon, is a cutie mark. All ponies get one eventually. It shows who we are, you see. Oh! Friends! Over here!" Rarity called.
"Does EVERYPONY have a Digimon partner?" Twilight asked.
"It would seem so," Fluttershy said, "They're all cuties though!"
Then, through a group of trees came another Digimon, with Spike riding on its back. It was purple with a red gem on its head and white fur on its neck and tail.
"You're kinda heavy Spike, but a load of fun!" The Digimon exclaimed.
"I like you too, Dorumon! Oh hey, there are my friends!" Spike waved, "This is Dorumon and...oh you all have Digimon?" He looked a little dissapointed, but then perked up.
"This place is so cool! What're your Digimon's names?" Spike asked.
Twilight was about to speak up to introduce Lopmon but then there was a large rumble on the ground. "GUYS! WHERE ARE YOU?! HELP!" A voice shouted from somewhere.
"That's Pinkie Pie!" Said Rainbow Dash, "She seemed fine before...but I do remember something approaching her and her Digimon.
A roar came from the same direction.
"Oh no!" Shouted Gabumon.
"That's GeoGreymon!" Said Lopmon.
"Geowhowhat?!" Applejack exclaimed.
"GeoGreymon. A large dinosaur Digimon. He's one bad egg." Patamon whispered.
"Let's go save Pinkie Pie!" Said Rainbow Dash.
"If that pink pony is there, Labramon will be in trouble too!" Falcomon said.
"Let's save the both of them!" Salamon said, leading the group in the direction of the monster.
"This does NOT sound good at all." Fluttershy cried.

GeoGreymon had grabbed hold of Labramon and Pinkie Pie was angrily kicking it in the foot.
"It's no use!" The Digimon cried, "Not even I can beat him! My friends and I have never been able to!"
"Pinkie!" Twilight called from round the corner. The fight was happening on a cliff which led to a long fall into the ocean.
"Guys! Come and help Labramon! Please!" Pinkie cried. Her bright personality had been washed away with terror; she couldn't even laugh away the horror.
The Digimon began to attack GeoGreymon to no avail. The different specialised attacks bounced right off. He turned his head towards the small Digimon at his feet and opened his mouth.
"MEGA BURST!" He shouted. A large ball of white fire formed in his mouth.
"NOOOOOO!" Twilight shouted. Her horn began to glow.
All very quickly, a ball of light appeared from her horn and a necklace with her cutie mark appeared on her neck.
She shouted, "LOPMON! SHINKA!!"
Lopmon rose up, enveloped in light, and began to change shape.
"LOPMON DIGIVOLVE TO..."
She appeared in a new form.
"WIZARDMON!"
Wizardmon quickly held out her staff in front of the GeoGreymon's attack. It absorbed it completely.
"MAGIC GAME!" She called, releasing the attack right back at GeoGreymon.
Rainbow Dash quickly swooped in and grabbed Labramon before the attack hit. When it did hit, it did so hard.
GeoGreymon was sent flying off the cliff and as soon as he hit the water, he exploded into data.
Everypony stared in awe at Wizardmon as she turned back into Lopmon. They began to cheer for the Digimon as Pinkie and Labramon hugged.
"Everypony, this is Labramon!" She said.
Everypony and Digimon (and dragon!) introduced themselves to each other.
"So what now?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Let's take them to the village!" Labramon suggested.
"Oh yeah, they can see if there are any ponies they recognise there too!" Gabumon commented.
"And we can see which Digimon ended up with them!" Patamon added.
"So everypony does have a partner." Rarity commented.
"It's settled then!" Spike said, sitting on Dorumon again, "To the Digimon village!"
Everypony and Digimon cheered and began to walk to the Digimon's home town.
The Digimon Village! Derpy and Doctor Whooves - Learn the Secrets of the Digital World! Rainbow Dash's Chikara!
"Now," Doctor Whooves said, walking along with his Hagurumon and companion Derpy, "If my theory is correct, I have been to this universe before. It is all so very familiar, yet at the same time I don't recognise it. Hagurumon, is there more than one Digital World?"
"Well, Wisemon says there is. He's the town elder. He knows just about everything about the multiverse!" The little gear Digimon said.
"Why don't we go and see this 'Wisemon'?" Derpy suggested, looking to the pink bird next to her that was almost as tall as she was.
"That sounds like a fantastic idea, assistant!" Doctor Whooves clapped his hooves.
"Oh hey, Doctor, look," Derpy pointed towards the gate of the village, "it's Wainbow Daff and her fwends!"
"So it is, Derpy. Would you like to say hello?" Doctor half sniggered at Derpy's speech impediment.
She ran fast up to her group of friends to greet them and introduce her Digimon. When Rainbow Dash saw her, she sighed.
She mumbled to herself, "She's HERE too?"
"Hi Wainbow Daff! Hi Twilight Spartle! Hi Warity! Hi Appajack! Hi Pink Pie! Hi Fwuttershy! Hi...um...err..Sp...Spi...Spike! Yeah, hey Spike!" She said all in one breath.
"Hello Derpy. You wound up here too?" Twilight asked.
"Yeah! Everypony on the twain is here!" She laughed.
The ponies and Spike introduced their Digimon to each other again.
Nobody reacted, but then from a patch of darkness, a ball of light appeared and transformed into a hoooded man. He wore a red robe and two orbs floated by his shoulders. This was Wisemon.
"Ah, Lopmon! And your friends and...who are they?" Wisemon asked suspiciously.
"These are our destined partners! They're ponies!" Patamon smiled.
"P-ponies? What ever happened to the humans?" Wisemon mumbled to himself.
"Humans? What's a human?" Rainbow asked.
"Oh, it does not matter," Wisemon sighed, "So, the Digidestined have arrived. Welcome to our world. The Digital World."
He looked around at the crowd before him, sensing their energies at the same time.
"Doctor?" Wisemon shouted in shock.
"Hello, Wisemon." Doctor Whooves greeted.
"What are you doing here? And as a pony no less." Wisemon asked.
"It seems I was destined to return to a Digital World!" Doctor laughed.
"Doctor? What's going on?" Derpy asked.
"Hm. I guess I better speak up," Doctor began, "I know more about this place than you think. You see, back before I became a pony..."
"When you were one of those thingies, wight?" Derpy asked.
"A human, yes," He continued, "I came to a different Digital World before I came to Equestria. I met this same Wisemon there and I ended up saving that Digital World and, well I don't like to toot my own horn but, every other universe as well."
The ponies and Digimon looked astonished. The ponies especially knew what the Doctor was capable of and had done before.
"You, purple pony," Wisemon pointed at Twilight, "What is that around your neck?"
"This...it appeared earlier when Lopmon changed form. Pinkie Pie and Labramon here were in trouble you see and I managed to help Lopmon turn into Wizardmon." Twilight explained.
"Lopmon, you Digivolved?!" Wisemon exclaimed.
"Yeah! I finally did it, teacher!" Lopmon bragged.
"Extraordinary. So you are the chosen ones," Wisemon began, "You see, Twilight was it? That around your neck is very precious. It is a DigiElement. Yours symbolises magic, it would seem."
"You mean my Element of Harmony?" Twilight whispered in slight shock.
"If that is what you call it in your world, yes. It enabled you to help your partner Lopmon grow stronger." Wisemon explained.
"No way! I want one too! Loyalty it is," Rainbow Dash begged, "I want Falcomon to be the strongest Digimon there ever was!"
"I am afraid that I cannot simply hand them out. You must perform a great feat of friendship to make one appear. Nobody knows what that could be, but it is as legends say." Wisemon explained again.
"So, Wisemon, must we save this Digital World?" Doctor asked.
"Yes and you came at a very convinient time. We were not expecting ponies. Only humans. I am amazed that the pony world has any form of digital appliance." Wisemon pondered.
"The electric clock." Doctor Whooves explained.
Everypony gasped and waited for him to explain.
"Everything electrical has a connection with a Digital World. I don't know what caused a portal to open, but something happened to Data Shift's electric clock caused everypony in Equestria to eventually be transported here." Doctor explained.
"My sister!" Applejack and Rarity shrieked.
"Yes, everypony." Doctor Whooves repeated.
"So what do we do?" Pinkie asked.
"We would like you to partner with your Digimon and eliminate an evil source planning to destroy every universe, like the Doctor has done previously." Wisemon explained.
"It was VERY difficult on my own last time, but there are many ponies here. Many thousands partnered with Digimon. It'll be a cakewalk!" Doctor chuckled.
"And in exchange?" Twilight asked.
"The Doctor and I will help you return to your world." Wisemon offered.
"Ah! Slight problem there, Wisemon," Doctor began, "My sonic screwdriver. It broke upon entry again."
"That loud bang!" Fluttershy whimpered.
"Yes, the very same. Upon breaking, like every inanimate object there..." He continued.
Everypony then looked to their torsos. They saw that their saddlebags were no longer there.
"My screwdriver turned into a Digivice. The only one a pony will have it would seem. Similar to your Element, Twilight." He finished.
"I will research some way whilst you are gone," Wisemon offered, "What are your first plans?"
"Find Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle." Applejack said sternly.
"Yes, we MUST keep them safe." Rarity cried.
"Then it's set. I know how far Ponyville was from where we entered the Digital World. If you could supply a map Wisemon, and if my calculations are correct, they should be in the Digital World location equivalent of Ponyville." Doctor explained.
"Then it's settled!" Derpy cheered, "The search for the fiwwies!"
Everypony sniggered again, causing Derpy's disproportionate eyes to turn to them, they shut up quicky.
"Derpy and I will accompany you guys, we have your back," Doctor said, "may we take some supplies for our journey, Wisemon?"
"Of course, go ahead and good luck." Wisemon wished.

The eight ponies, one dragon and eight Digimon left the village with bags and saddlebags filled with essentials and set forth to search for the younger siblings of Applejack and Rarity. After walking a while, they heard a very loud buzzing.
"What is that dreadful sound?" Rarity compalined.
"It doesn't sound good." Commented Salamon.
"I think I know that sound." Added Lopmon unhappily.
"You mean, a bad Digimon?" Pinkie asked.
"Yes. Prepare yourself, Digimon!" Lopmon said.
The Digimon tensed themselves. The buzzing stopped, then started again even louder. Flymon approached.
"Flymon, another Champion level." Falcomon began to explain, but he got swooped in on and grabbed by the Flymon.
"Falcomon!" Rainbow Dash cried.
"Digimon! Attack!" Dorumon and Spike shouted at the same time.
The Digimon launched attacks, but nobody managed to hit the fast, flying bug. Biyomon came close being able to fly but Patamon and Fluttershy hid behind a tree out of sheer terror.
"Oh, no, we can't hit it!" Doctor exclaimed.
"I'm goin' for him myself! Nobody's gonna hurt my new Digibuddy Falcomon!" Rainbow Dash shouted, taking to the skies.
"Wainbow Daff! No!" Derpy shouted.
"Derpy, I got this." She said back seriously.
Derpy's head dropped, but she kept watching. Rainbow managed to get neck and neck to Flymon and bash into it a few times, but it stopped and aimed its stinger at the pegasus.
"BROWN STINGERS!" It called, launching the needle at Rainbow Dash as another grew in its place.
The needle grazed Rainbow Dash's side, leaving a cut. The shock caused her to stop flying and crash into the ground. Flymon lifted its stinger and aimed it right at Falcomon's chest.
"No! You can hurt me all you want but DO NOT hurt Falcomon!" Rainbow Dash shouted at the top of her voice.
A tear formed in her eye and hit the ground. The wet drop on the ground began to glow and as Rainbow Dash cried more, the tears shined and rose back up in sparkles. The rose to her neck and formed a shape. The shape of her cutie mark on a necklace.

"No way!" She whispered, "Falcomon! You ready?"
Falcomon nodded and Rainbow flew up, kicked Flymon in the head, causing him to drop Falcomon, who flapped his wings quick and hovered in the air.
"FALCOMON! SHINKA!!" Rainbow shouted.
Falcomon turned into a white figure and began to grow.
"FALCOMON DIGIVOLVE TO..."
His new form was taller and still hovered in the air midflight.
Peckmon flew over to Flymon, just recovering from the hard kick from Rainbow Dash, and started to spin. He drove right into Flymon's stomach, still spinning, his talons sharply digging into the insect Digimon's stomach. It exploded into data and Peckmon softly landed with Rainbow Dash, turned back to Falcomon and took a bow. Everyone cheered except Twilight, gazing at where the Flymon was just eliminated.
"We didn't just kill that Digimon did we?" She said sadly.
"Oh, heavens no, Twilight!" Doctor Whooves reassured her, "When a Digimon is defeated and explodes into data, it smimply reforms someplace else and turns into a baby Digimon! Flymon is fine!"
Twilight sparkled and looked towards the direction they were travelling in.
"Then let's carry on going onwards!" She called.
The ponies galloped on to search for the fillies they worried for so much.

An Evil Spirit Lurks! Pinkie Pie Slash! GIiggle at the Ghostie!
It was night and the Digidestined were setting down to rest. The air was chilly, yet fresh. Derpy was trying to make conversation with Rainbow Dash, much to her disliking and the others were looking for something to eat.
"Now, what do you Digimon eat? I remember last time I was in a Digital World we just rushed and there was no time for eating." Doctor Whooves reminisced.
"We'll eat just about anything!" Biyomon laughed.
"Hey, you got anything sweet in that bag?" Labramon asked.
"Oh yes! I love sweets too Labramon!" Pinkie Pie shouted, stroking her companion on the head.
"Well ponies live on a strictly vegetarian diet so we only really eat vegetables or produce," Doctor explained, shuffling through his bag, "No sweets in here I'm afraid."
Pinkie and Labramon frowned a little, but then smiled and went off to play. Rarity was sat with Salamon in one of the many tents that had been set up. She was brushing the Digimon's coat gently.
"Darling, your short hair is absolutely gorgeous!" Rarity said with joy.
"Thank you, Rarity! I keep it as best I can!" Salamon smiled.
"You do a very good job of it, dear! Oh I picked up a little something just for you," Rarity fumbled through a bag and brought out a small pink ribbon, "Here!"
"GUYS! GUYS! OH MY GOSH, GUYS!" A worried voice eminated from further out.
"Pinkie?" Twilight shouted, "What is it?"
Pinkie emerged from the shadows dragging a pony with her hoofs, Labramon also dragged a Digimon. The pony was a green unicorn, but her coat was tinted blue and she looked very ill. The Digimon was a small angel and also had the blue tint to its colour.
"Lyra!" Derpy exclaimed, running to the pony, "Lyra what happened?"
Lyra groaned and coughed a little.
"Ghost...took Bon Bon...and her Digimon," She spluttered a little more, "Cursed me...cursed Cupimon..."
Lyra did not look good at all. She closed her eyes and fell unconcious.
"Did she say a g-g-ghost?" Fluttershy stuttered.
"I don't like ghosts...they scare me." Patamon whispered, cuddling up to Fluttershy.
"A ghost? You don't think she means Bakemon of the Forest...do you?" Dorumon whimpered.
"What's that?" Spike said, trying to act cool and collected over his sudden fear.
"Legend tells of a ghost Digimon named Bakemon who takes the souls of anyone who enters the forest and puts a curse on them. By the time the sun rises their soul belongs to Bakemon and he eats it. The person who's soul it was will never be happy again." Lopmon told.
"Poor Lyra." Rarity gasped.
"We have until sunrise to save her." The previously quiet Hagurumon said.
"Right. Shall we go searching for the Bakemon and Bon Bon?" Doctor asked.
"Of course," Twilight nodded, "for the sake of Lyra, Bon Bon, their Digimon and anypony else who ventures out here."
"Then it's decided." Rainbow Dash said, nodding at Falcomon.
The ponies and Digimon ran off, except for Fluttershy, Spike and their Digimon who fell back a bit.
"So...what was the plan?" Fluttershy whispered.
"I think they're gonna go and beat that ghost Digimon." Spike gulped.
"I don't wanna go." Patamon whispered.
"I gotta say I'm scared, but I'm up for the challenge, let's go Spike!" Dorumon said, offering for the dragon to sit upon his back.
"Uh...right...see you there, Fluttershy?" Spike asked cautiously.
"Oh...um...no. No, somepony needs to look after Lyra. Patamon and I will stay here." She replied.
Spike nodded and Dorumon rode off to catch up with the other ponies.

The ponies and Digimon galloped on further into the forest. They had located where Bakemon could possibly be already, a large stone spire with flashing lights gave it away. Eventually, they arrived and stopped to catch their breath.
"Everyone ready?" Doctor Whooves asked.
The ponies and Digimon nodded and Doctor proceeded to walk into the spire, but he couldn't. It was as if there was a wall in the entrance. In fact, there was a wall; an invisible barrier.
"Oh, great. An invisible wall." Rarity complained.
"Not to worry! I have my sonic scr-," Doctor looked for his screwdriver but then remembered it was replaced with a Digivice, "Oh."
"So we cain't get in?" Applejack asked.
"Doesn't seem like it." Gabumon replied, looking at his pony partner.
"What if we went over?" Rainbow Dash suggested.
"Not all of us can fly." Twilight reminded her.
"I have a better idea!" Spike announced.

"Honestly, Spike. I would've thought you'd be smarter than this. Everypony else, WHY did you listen to him?" Twilight screamed.
Spike had suggested that the Digimon smash through the brick wall. The Digimon eagerly did so, but it attracted very bad attention. The gang found themselves surrounded by ghost Digimon wearing witch caps.
"I thought there was only one Bakemon?" Derpy cried.
"These aren't Bakemon," Biyomon explained, "these are its minions Soulmon!"
The Digimon were ominously circling the group and chanting in a strange language. They began to counjure up purple fire.
"Everyone remember! Giggle at the ghosties!" Pinkie Pie laughed.
The ponies tried to laugh and the Digimon, in a state of confusion, joined in but nothing happened.
"It didn't work?" Pinkie frowned.
One of the Soulmon threw it's fire at Rarity, it just singed her hair. She screamed loudly, looking upwards, but as she looked upwards she saw Bakemon and an unconcious Bon Bon.
"Everyone! Up there! It's Bon Bon! Somepony shou-" She was interrupted.
"ENERGY DRAIN!" The Soulmon suddenly shouted.
There were twelve Soulmon and everypony, dragon and Digimon but Pinkie and Labramon were trapped in the grasp of each. Quickly, they ran up the stairs to get Bakemon, looking in horror at their friend's energy being sucked out. They looked in immense pain, but then it stopped. They were lowered to the ground and their pupils had dissapeared.They looked as bleak as the sky at dusk and slowly crept towards the stairs towards Pinkie and her Digimon. Pinkie reached the top and stared Bakemon in the eyes.
"YOU!" She shouted.
Bakemon turned around.
"What makes you think you have the right to do this to my friends? Or to anyone for that matter?" She shouted again.
Bakemon's vacant stare turned into a sinister smirk.
"It's fun." He laughed.

"Fun?!" Pinkie exclaimed, "this is NOT fun! Fun is laughing with your friends! Fun is sliding down a hill on a hot summer day! Fun is...fun is saving your friends!"
Her DigiElement formed around her neck, in the shape of her cutie mark. She stood on her hind legs.
"Labramon, ready for some fun?" She smiled.
"I'm ready to giggle at that ghostie!" Labramon smirked.
"LABRAMON! SHINKA!!" Pinkie shouted.
"LABRAMON DIGIVOLVE TO..."
Labramon pounced towards Bakemon and began to glow white, she quickly changed shape.
"SEASARMON!" She shouted in a menacing new form.
"TEE DIA!" She called.
A circle of light formed in the sky. Arrows of holy energy struck Bakemon in the head. More followed and impaled the Soulmon. Bakemon quickly moved, still in immense pain, and Seasarmon's circle of light brightened and as the flash dissapeared, so did the ghost Digimon in bursts of data, which rose to the sky. Seasarmon returned to her Rookie form and hoofbumped Pinkie.

They looked behind them to see their friends, who had recovered from the Soulmon's curses. Then, Bon Bon stood up and rubbed her head, she was okay too.
"What's going on?" She mumbled, "Where's Lyra? And Betamon?"
She looked beside her. Her Digimon, Betamon, was fast asleep. She chuckled and put him on her back.
"Lyra's at the campsite where we were staying. Fluttershy's looking after her." Pinkie smiled.
"Thanks guys. That Digimon was just...bad." Bon Bon said, her voice croaking slightly.
"Thanks Pinkie," Twilight smiled, "We're lucky we outnumbered those Soulmon."
"Who knows what would've happened?" Lopmon commented.
"Hey, Pinkie, a DigiElement! Did Labramon evolve?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Yeah! It was so fun!" Pinkie and Labramon laughed.
"Man. I wanted to see that!" Spike whined.
Everypony seemed happy but Derpy, who hadn't said a word since being saved. She looked sullenly at the ground as they returned to the campsite and didn't speak for the rest of that night.

"Thanks again, guys!" Lyra said.
"We gotta be more careful when adventuring." Bon Bon commented.
"If there's anything we can do for you, just ask." Lyra offered.
"Actually," Doctor Whooves began, "there may be something."
"What would that be?" Cupimon asked.
"We need to form some sort of resistance against a dark force that's apparently growing. We're a little sidetracked right now trying to find Applejack and Rarity's sisters. Could you return to the Digimon Village in the morning and gather up ponies partnered with Digimon to make an army?" He asked excitedly.
"Um...sure?" Lyra forced a smile.
"Fantastic! Thank you very much!" Doctor said, raipdly shaking Bon Bon and Lyra's hooves.
The ponies said their goodbyes to Lyra, Bon Bon and their Digimon and returned to their tents. Completely tired, everypony fell asleep almost as soon as they were lying down, except Derpy. Derpy stayed awake staring at nothing all night.
The Dragon Digimon: Dracmon & Monodramon- Spike's Element!
The Digital World is an unusual place, especially with the terrain changes. There is one part where the green grass of the forest suddenly changes to rough dirt all of a sudden. A forest to a tundra may sound weird, but this was the Digital World; anything's possible. Two unicorns were walking through this desert with their Digimon companions. They were fed up of having to carry the dragons.
"Why can't you walk for a while on your own, eh?" Snails asked Monodramon.
"Yeah, I'm getting tired!" Snips complained.
"It's just a little longer, I promise." Dracomon sniggered and winked at Monodramon.
"I don't like the sound of these Digimon." Snips whispered with a tear in his eye.
Snails simply nodded his head and continued walking back to the forest where they had started.

In the forest at that moment were the Digidestined, just noticing the tundra ahead.
"Oh, dear! My hooves are going to get all sandy!" Rarity frowned.
"That's gon' be the least of yer worries, Rarity," Applejack noted, "we're all gonna be hotter than a roast tater out there."
"It'll be fine," Twilight sighed, "As long as we keep going we'll find Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle A-S-A-P."
"Um...guys? What's that over there?" Fluttershy pointed.
Everyone looked in the direction of her shaking hoof. Two figures walked on from the tundra. Unsure of what to expect, everyone tensed to be ready for anything. They were all a little dissapointed when they saw Snips and Snails turn up.
"Snips? Snails? What are you guys doing here?" Spike asked.
"Well Monodramon and Dracomon wanted a lift back to the Digimon Village." Snails explained.
"Those are some cool Digimon," Spike commented in awe, "they're dragons like me."
A spark appeared in Monodramon's eye.
"Why don't you come with us, dragon?" He asked, looking at Dracomon.
"Uh...yeah! We'll show you just how a dragon Digimon works!" He sniggered.
"I'd really like to see that!" Spike commented.
Twilight looked to Lopmon and raised an eyebrow, then lowered her head to whisper.
"What's there to see exactly about a dragon Digimon?" she asked.
"I honestly don't know." Lopmon replied.
"Well...Spike, if you wanna go with them then go ahead, but please do catch up with us on the way back." Twilight said.
"Will do!" Spike beamed, walking off with the dragon Digimon, Snips and Snails.

Night fell rather quickly. Halfway through the tundra, the ponies set up a campsite.
"Now how're gonna light this fire?" Applejack sighed.
"Spike could normally do it." said Rainbow Dash.
"I do have a fire-based move," Biyomon commented and aimed at the logs in the center, "SPIRAL TWISTER!"
The logs set ablaze the moment her emerald flames blew over them, but just as this happened it began to rain.
"Rain? But this is a tundra!" Rarity shouted.
"The Digital World's weather acts weird." Doctor Whooves sighed.
"So you dunno what to expect?" Fluttershy asked, crawling into a tent.
"Never. Now come on, everypony...er...everyone," he said, looking at the Digimon, "into the tents."
The ponies and Digimon clambered into the tents except for Derpy who sat exactly where she was, looking at the smoking logs. Biyomon poked her head out of a tent, her face looked full of concern.
"Are you coming, Derpy?" she asked.
Derpy didn't turn her head to look at her Digimon partner. She rolled her eyes -which both went in opposite directions- and sighed.
"No." she grunted.
"You sure?" Biyomon whimpered.
"I'm staying here." Derpy said apathetically.
Biyomon frowned and returned to her tent to let Derpy soak in the depressing rain.

Snails carried some sausages on sticks to Monodramon, who happily munched on them, then spat them out.
"Too burnt." he snorted.
Snips then fed some to Dracomon, but he didn't open his mouth.
"I'm not hungry any more." he laughed.
Snips and Snails both sighed and collapsed to the ground. The dragon Digimon had them working hard and they got no respect. They did not like their partners at all. Monodramon stood up from the log he was perched on and nudged Spike hard in the back.
"Done with the fire?" he asked.
"Yeah...just...gotta." Spike struggled to talk as air blocked up his throat.
He belched loudly and lit the logs which he previously had to chop using only his tail. Dorumon watched sadly as the three were teased by the mean Digimon. Just as it had happened to the others, rain began to pour and douse the fire.
"Oh great!" Dracomon shouted.
"Way to go, Spike." Monodramon sarcastically sighed.
"What? That wasn't my fault!" Spike said.
Monodramon punched Spike in the stomach with enough force to push him into a tree.
"SPIKE!" Dorumon shouted.
Snips and Snails looked to their Digimon in astonishment, then galloped over to Spike.
"Spike! Are you okay?" Snips asked.
"You gotta get up, eh?" Snails said, lifting Spike from the ground.
Spike shook his head as he got to his feet and glared at Monodramon and Dracomon.
"You guys are real jerks." he said.
"So sue us." Monodramon laughed.
"We don't like you guys either." Dracomon said, then knocking away Dorumon.
"No! Dorumon!" Spike cried.
Dorumon had been hit very hard. He had a visible bruise under his fur and was gasping for breath.
"You two are bad Digimon partners!" Snails shouted.
"Hah! We were never even partners!" Dracomon said.
"Yeah, we just picked you chumps up 'cause you looked like you'd be good at doing some free labour for us." Monodramon added.
"That's not what friends are for!" Snips exclaimed.
"Pfft. Who needs friends?" Dracomon spat on the ground.
"Good people who deserve to live happily," Said Spike, who began to glow with a light aura, "and you guys need to be taught a lesson.

"You've been jerks to Snips and Snails. You've pushed them around and you promised to treat me well. I thought I would even see the quirks of some cool dragon Digimon. But all I saw were jerks that hurt people and Digimon who are supposed to be their friends. That's not cool. Dorumon, I think we need to show these guys what it means to have friends." he smiled.
Dorumon slowly stood up and also began to glow. A necklace with a green gem in the shape of a flame faded onto Spike's neck and began to glow.
"I'm ready." Dorumon said.
"DORUMON, SHINKA!!" Spike cried.
"DORUMON DIGVOLVE TO..."
Dorumon became cloaked in white light and grew. The tiny wings on his back became larger. Spike jumped up and sat on the glowing Digimon's back.
"DORUGAMON!" the new Digimon shouted.
"Let's go, Dorugamon!" Spike said.
Dorugamon nodded and began to run towards Dracomon. The dragon jumped in the air and opened his jaw.
"BABY BREATH!" he called, firing a small firebolt towards Dorugamon.
"POWER METAL!" Dorugamon shouted.
A large iron ball was released from his mouth, extinguishing the fire and smacking Dracomon dead on in the face. He collapsed to the ground unconciously.
Monodramon tensed himself and ran towards Dorugamon, holding out his claw.
"BEAT KNUCKLE!" he shouted, punching Spike again, who fell off Dorugamon.
"CRACKING BITE!" Monodramon called, chomping Dorugamon's wing as he ran.
Monodramon held on tight with his large teeth as Dorugamon tried to shake him off, but it was no use. Snips and Snails then stood firmly and used magic on Monodramon, who was enveloped by an olive magic shine which lifted him off the Digimon. The unicorns worked together and in unison flung Monodramon far away, then did the same to Dracomon; who was still unconcious.

Spike stood up as Dorugamon returned to his Dorumon form and ran to hug the dragon.
"Nicely done, partner!" Spike laughed, then looked at Snips and Snails who looked sad.
"We thought we had our very own Digimon partners." Snails sighed.
"I guess we're not important enough." Snips said.
Spike walked over to them and patted their heads.
"Now guys, don't be like that! I'm sure you'll get your own Digimon eventually!" he smiled.
"You think so?" they both asked.
"Yeah, trust me!" Spike said.
"We'd better be going to the village." Snips commented.
"And we gotta find the others." Dorumon said.
"Spike, Dorumon. Thanks for saving our flanks out there. Thanks to your bravery we got rid of those creeps. They were working us silly." Snails said.
"No problem. Be careful next time you speak to a Digimon." Spike said.
"Oh, we will!" Snips laughed.
The four said their farewells and headed in opposite directions.

Spike arrived at the campsite to see Derpy sat all alone in the cold night air.
"Derpy? Are you alright?" Spike asked.
Derpy didn't reply.
"Well...good night, I suppose." Spike said, crawling into Twilight's tent.
Derpy still said nothing. She just sat there staring at the moon. Then, when she was sure nobody would notice, she stood up and began to journey further up the tundra.
