(Anthro Pony Type) Rainbow Dash was an only child. A long time ago on one Hearts Warming Eve, her mother had miscarried the one who would have been Rainbow’s baby sister. However, on that night, the young Rainbow Dash knelt down in front of her Hearts Warming Eve tree and offered an earnest prayer:
"Please make my mother well again, and please give me a little sister.” Years have passed since the lonely Hearts Warming Eve, and Rainbow Dash has nearly forgotten her prayer. Oh just you wait Rainbow, for Santa Hooves hasn't forgotten. It was Hearts Warming Eve once again, and Rainbow was excited for the presents, the parties, and being with her friends. Rainbow Dash headed home after Pinkie’s party only to be greeted with the best unexpected gift of her life… Her sister.
(Authors note: I'm sorry about the last part. I'm just reading, and watching some other things at the same time. Also, I got completely off track from the matter at hand. Again, I’m sorry you guys. Please forgive me).
Dawn breaks from the peaceful land of Equestria... As Rainbow Dash is sleeping away on her comfortable bed. It’s the morning of Hearts Warming Eve, Dash was up all night partying and got wasted after last night with Pinkie and her friends...
*Knock, Knock, Knock*
Dash soon woken up by a knock on the window.
The room was a mess, plates not yet cleaned the room was filled with litter and her bed is a mess. Dash tries to block her hears of the noise, but she keeps hearing it.
*Knock, Knock, Knock”
She sluggishly got up off her bed as she looks at her clock. It was 6:30 A.M in the morning.
*Knock, Knock, Knock*
Dash lets out a huge yawn. “Darn... Who is it? This early in the morning.” She asked herself, but instead of the door, he went towards the window. “Okay, okay, okay. I’m opening the door now.” She said, not realizing she’s opening the window, as she opens her eyes more clearly. She was soon greeted by a dark pony, with mane as majestic as of a clear night sky in a bike-like cart, with sunglasses on. Flying on her 2nd story room.
She stared at the pony for a minute or two. She soon heard the barking of winona below her apartment building, and sure enough, winona was below there.
The pony in the bike-cart looks at Dash, examining her for a bit before she spoke.
“Are you Rainbow Dash?” She asked.
Dash was so surprised and wondering what could this pony want with her... She looked at her, but did not see any wings... or a horn for that matter. She thought it was Luna or Derpy but apparently it wasn’t... She mustered up some of her nerves to speak a simple word...
“Y-yes...”
The pony lets out a grin, then spoke again. “Great, I finally found you...” The pony turns on her cart and picks something up... “Okay then, here!” She throws a large bag to Dash as she tries to maintain her balance. But fell into her bed.
“Okay, sign here.” The pony shows her a sign board, like those of a mail mare use when delivering packages.
Dash puts down the bag and goes to the Pony on her window. “O-oh...” She picks up the sign board, but then stops and asked a bit of questions. “So... are you a mail mare? More importantly, who exactly are you?” Dash asked.
“Huh? You mean you can’t tell? I’m obviously Santa Hooves!” She proclaims.
Dash puts up a weird face and thinks that this must be some kind of a joke. “I don’t know...”
Before she can even react more, Santa Hooves forces Dash to sign the board. Dash looked back at the bag, wondering still...
“So...if you’re Santa Hooves...Then that is...”
“A Hearts Warming Present...” She said, continuing Dash’s words.
Dash goes at the bag and slowly loosens the ribbon, to open her “present” revealing a filly inside the bag, holding a small notebook. Dash was in total shock, she quickly goes back to the window and asked Santa Hooves.
“Wait! W-whats going on?!” She asked, nearly demanding an answer quickly.
“Little Sister! Isn’t that what you wished for?” She said, “You said, “I wish to receive a little sister as a Hearts Warming present”.” She explains.
“But that was a really long time ago!” Dash shouts. “Besides, I was a young filly back then.”
“Ahh, I can’t help it.... This isn’t as simple as making a toy. It takes time.” Santa Hooves said.
“But, how can I even say this? It would only trouble me if I got this now!” Dash argues.
“If there are any questions, look them up in the God theory.” Santa Hooves said, waving the sign-board and putting it on her bag. “If you have anything to complain about, say it to God!” She said, as she revs her cart-bike on. Dash was even more surprised when she saw a little engine in the side of the cart.
“Basically, I just gave your Hearts Warming Present!” After saying that, Santa Hooves roars her cart across the sky, towards the great blue beyond...
“Hey!” Dash was about to chase her, but it was too much of a hassle.
“What does she mean by... God?” She thinks. “Did she mean Celestia?” Dash thinks hard, but just shrugs it. She continues to look at the sky, until the dot became a blur... and finally disappearing out of sight...
She looks back to her “Sister” and starts to think as well... “What am I supposed to do, with this...?” Dash examines the young filly in front of her. “Is she even alive?” Dash said to herself. Dash went closer to the filly, then looks back to the window. Making sure that no one was watching. Dash raised her hoof and slowly moves it towards the filly.
Without warning… the filly’s eyes opened, causing green wisp flutter across the room, creating a magnificent yet soothing aura around the room... The filly stood up releasing more wisp, then her mane waved with the wind... releasing her from the ribbon tying her together as she stood there in front of the surprised Rainbow Dash...
The filly looked around the room... and across, then made eye contact with Dash...
Dash blushed at the sight of the filly, her mane was straight down, and her tail was across her hind legs, like those mares on the bar in Manehattan....
“M-make yourself decent, please.” Dash said, in a low tone.
The filly took her small notebook and uses her magic to open it, reading something within.
“Apparently this filly is a unicorn.” Dash said to herself.
The filly flicks from page to page, until she closes it, and spoke... “But, we are siblings and I don't feel like doing that.” She said who completely misunderstood what Dash meant.
“Ahh... It’s not like that... Whatever! Just make yourself decent, go ever there and put clothes please!” Dash said. She somehow likes the figure of that filly, so much that we wing almost expanded because of that… at that point, she wanted her to put some clothes on her, before something else goes to her mind...
The filly nods to Dash with a smile “Okay.”
By then she scuffles on Dash’s stuff and found a small vest, with sleeves and a saddle-skirt. She soon puts them on, making her decent in Dash’s eyes.
“I put on... clothes...” She said. Dash knows very well that ponies don’t usually wear clothes... but in her case... she ought to be...
Dash looked at the filly, and was amazed of what she saw what the filly was wearing. “C-cute.”
The filly walked over to her, and looked Dash into the eye. “What’s wrong, Big Sister?” She said.
“B-big sister?” Dash said, not knowing what the filly meant.
“I can’t call you... “Big Sister?”.” The filly asked, wondering if Dash doesn’t like what she is being called.
“No, it’s not like that...” Dash said... making the filly feel more comfortable...
“I’m glad...: She said, thankful that she hasn’t said something she shouldn’t.
Dash’s room was just like a normal mare’s room. A desk, with notes and a quill. a couple of lamps and a small bathroom over to the side of the room... with a bed, big enough for two ponies...
“So, Big Sis... I hope to learn more from you, as your little sister from now on...” The filly said, and gave Dash a bow and waits for her reply.
“Uh...yeah... So do I...” Dash said, as she scratches her head, wondering what she’ll do next. “Erm... I-I’m hungry...” She suddenly said, looking at the un-cleaned cooking materials on the sink... “Let’s have breakfast.” She suggested, the filly then raised her hoof into the air... and volunteered.
“Then I’ll go and make something.” the filly rushed towards the kitchen and looked over the cooking materials Dash has in there...
“It’s okay; you don’t have to do that...” Dash said, not making her fuss over breakfast, since she only got there.
“But, that’s a sister’s responsibility.” She said as she took her little notebook out. “It’s written right here...” She said, making her point to Dash.
“Is... that so? Then I should ask you to...” Before Dash could finish, the filly understood where her sentence is going.
“Yes!” She said, as she prepares the ingredients.
She put the things in the table and started to cook... “Uhm...let’s put this in first...” little that she know, is she put in dish washing soap on the boiling water, creating a volcanic-state in the stew... “Huh? Ahh!!”
Later the filly took a large loaf of bread... she puts it on the table and with her magic, she took a large cleaver and struck down hard on the bread, causing it to fly to the air... “And... Huh?!”
She then took a bunch of plates, but then trips making the plates fly and break upon impact.
Next she cooked some oatmeal, but got burnt in the process... “No way! No way!” unexpectedly, the oatmeal exploded. Dash could only watch as her kitchen become a battle field of food wars, as everything becomes an exploding chaos.
“Why?” She cried... “Why is it turning out like this? Ahh... Oh no! Geez!!!”
After an hour of terror and disaster on the kitchen. Dash and the filly sat on the living room...
“I’m sorry...” The filly said, looking down and feeling guilty of what she did to Dash’s kitchen...
Dash came back, with a batch of pancakes, and milk with apple-syrup on the side for both of them... “It’s okay; everypony has their strengths and weaknesses.” Dash said, hoping to cheer the filly up, but then again... She took a glance on the huge mess behind her... it really does make her regret letting her go in there.
“What I meant to say is...” Dash said to herself, but didn’t continue.
While they were eating. Dash starts a small conversation between her and the filly.
“By the way, what’s your name?” Dash asked the filly.
The filly bites down on a piece of pancake, and answers... “I don’t have one” She said.
“Huh? None?” Dash said while eating a piece as well.
“Yes!”
“But, it’ll be hard to call you...” Dash said, making out the obvious.
“Then Big Sis should give me a name!” The filly suggested.
“Me?” Dash asked.
“And make it a cute one.” The filly said. Dash lets out a sigh, making the filly smile on the thought of her new name...
“A cute name?” Dash said to herself... thinking of what could be this filly’s new name... “Take about cute. What kind of name will be cute?” Dash looks around the room, then back to her. Until she remembers a certain name that she nicknamed her “Soon to be Sister” when she was a young filly.
“I got it... How about “Choco?” Dash said, the filly tilted her head on the name Dash gave her.
“”Choco”?” She said, giving Dash the “why” look.
“Well... uhm...” Dash thinks of a reason of why she named her Choco... Then a perfect excuse aroused on her mind... “Because, you look sweet, your mane is a little dark, yet has a brownish color, like of chocolate...” She said, Dash knew that this was a pathetic excuse, and was hoping the filly would bite it...
“Choco... Choco...” She repeats the name over and over, trying to get some sort of ring to it... “That’s my name, then...”
“It’s not okay?” Dash asked, making her hard enough to make another name for her...
“Nope...” The filly said. “It’s a cute and beautiful name!” She said, as she leans towards Dash... “I like it, please call me that!” She said, with sparkles in her eye.
“R-really? Then, Choco, how about we go shopping after we finish eating?” Dash suggested.
“Shopping?” Choco asked... Dash was thinking, if she’s going to stay with her, she needs proper attire... or in her liking clothes or such... as for Dash, she don’t usually wear clothes so it’s alright with her... but just for the heck of it...
“I can’t always let you wear my clothes all the time, can I?” Dash said, trying not to laugh yet at the same time, not to look at Choco the wrong way...
“Also, you know... you need some, things for yourself... if you like...” Dash suggested...
After a while... Dash and Choco went out of the apartment... Outside was a clear blue sky, and not a single cloud was up... but the streets are littered with snow all around...
“I should have worked last day...” Dash said... Being a weather mare has its ups and downs, but yesterday was her day off, so she has no problem at all... but wishing that she did...
Dash opens the front door for Choco as she gazed on the white thing under her hands. Choco took one step, as it sinks on the snow, Choco find this amusing and went off running towards the snow covered path way, leaving hoof prints on the snow. she looks back to see her own prints, seeing her first steps out of the house, since... she just came, she doesn’t know about snow or any other things yet... She was curious enough to pick up a snow pile and examines the stuff closely.
“Oh! It’s cold!” She said, letting go of the snow on her hoof...
Choco then starts to walk backwards, making more hoof marks on the snow, amazed of what she was doing... “Hey, look, look here. Big Sis, this is so amazing!” She said, while looking down on her own tracks.
Dash chuckles a bit “Choco... If you walk like that, you might trip.” Dash said, just after she said that, Choco slips and loses her balance, causing her to fall backwards.
“Choco!” Dash rushed towards her. Choco was lying on the bed of snow, as Dash moves close to her... “Are you alright?” Dash reached out for Choco, and gets her to stand up. Choco shakes herself of the excess snow on her coat.
“Yeah! No problem~” Choco said, but was cut off as she sneezed a bit.
“achoo~ nghh... achoo~ nghh...”
Dash looked at her, with a comfortable look on her face; she leans towards Choco and put a wing in her shoulders... “There... better?” Dash said as she smiles over to Choco... Dash then took off her scarf and put it around Choco’s neck instead. “And... wear this also.”
Choco and Dash started to walk towards to go shopping in town.
“Listen up... it’s slippery on the snow, so be careful when walking.” Dash said over to Choco.
“Okay!” Choco simply replies...
As the both of them walked across the road, they were soon greeted by a local florist, and animal caretaker, simply known as Fluttershy.
“Ah... hello.” Fluttershy calmly greeted Dash as she sees her walking over to her shop.
“H-hi!” Dash said, as she blushed a bit on Fluttershy.
“”Are you heading out?” Fluttershy asked, as she tidy the front of her shop, as her pet Angel helps her with it.
“Yeah, just for a bit.” Dash replies. Fluttershy noticed that Dash was with somepony she never knew...
“Oh?” Fluttershy looks at Choco; Dash noticed this and starts to introduce Choco to her.
“Ah... this is...” But before Dash could say anything any further. Choco introduced herself.
“I’m Choco, Big Sister’s little sister!” She said, with a hint of pride in her tone.
“Ah, I see, Rainbow Dash’s litter sister?” Fluttershy said to Choco with a smile. “That’s not right...” Choco said, “I’m not Rainbow Dash’s sister... I’m Big Sister’s little sister!” Choco corrected... not understanding the meaning of what Fluttershy had said.
“Uh... Fluttershy...” Dash interrupted.
“Yes?” Fluttershy asked.
“It’s this. How can I explain...? It’s just that...” Dash tries to make a reasonable story for Fluttershy, on how he got a sister suddenly... Just then, a small cry of kittens is heard inside of her shop...
“Ahh... pardon me... I need to take care of that for a while...” After saying that, Fluttershy went inside of the shop and went to take care of the kittens...
“Ah, okay, then we’ll leave now.” Dash took Choco and leaves the shop; Choco looked back and wondered if she had said something bad... But Dash was disappointed not getting to talk to Fluttershy more, and just lets out a huge sigh.
They went towards the large shopping building on the edge of Manehattan, and goes inside... Ever since Dash and her friends moved out of Ponyville, since they went to college, life for her had been slightly down, but still retains her job as a weather mare. She just shrugs those memories behind and accompanies Choco on her shopping.
The place was all decorated with Hearts Warming Eve things, such as images of Santa Hooves, and some blinking lights along the stairs and stalls.
The building is fully packed, because of the Hearts Warming Feast was already tonight, and everypony was preparing for that time buying food and stuff as gifts... Choco finds this pretty and wonderful, as she gazed on the humongous place with different ponies walking about.
Dash went towards the directory, and saw this.
Colts Wear: 2nd Floor.
Mares Wear: 3rd Floor.
Fillies Wear: 4th Floor.
“Fillies wear are on the fourth floor?” Dash said to herself... Dash and Choco went to the elevator and dings for the floor she wants to go, the pony operator activates it, sending them towards the 4th floor...
As soon as the doors open, Choco ran and quickly explored the place... “Ah, so much clothing!” She pronounced.
Choco quickly tries some clothing on the racks; she even went towards the newest clothing, some made by Dash’s friend, Rarity. Choco gets all the clothes she wanted and went to try them all on the fitting room... Choco shows Dash everything she picked out, one after another. Dash simply nods in approval as she observes every clothes Choco tried. Until finally it’s time to pay for them.
Dash carried the clothes towards the cashier and see how much they worth... the cashier checks the price and puts in on the calculator... then another one... and another one…
Dash could only widen her eyes to slowly see the full price of the clothing she bought for Choco is estimated... over 2,340 bits.
Choco can only smile towards the beautiful clothing she had picked, as for dash…
“I’m sorry. I didn’t bring enough money with me; can I go and take out some more?” Dash said, as she takes out some of the clothes for her to pay enough for some.
After she paid for the clothes. Dash and Choco went up to the 5th floor to check out some of the merchandise.
“Fillies clothing are really expensive...” Dash said to herself... “I was planning to use the savings from my job to buy that new lightning-proof suit I liked...” Dash then looked back at Choco. “But this isn’t bad, neither.”
Later that day, they went to a dining area and ordered some food.
“Now don’t make a mess on your new clothes now.” Dash said, as they waited for their order.
“Okay!” Choco simply said. Dash watches Choco to eat her food on the table.
“A little sister, huh?” Dash said, as she goes back to her past memories of those days when her mother, was carrying a child…
“Hey mama, still no little sister?” Dash asked at her mother.
“Mmm... It still looks like that.” Dash’s mother said.
“When will I get one?” Dash asked, hinting her mother that she’s excited about her “up-coming” sister. “Tomorrow? Or the day after?” She vividly asked her mother...
“You still have to wait at least several months, also, I don’t know if it’s a boy or not...” Her mother replied.
“It’s definitely a little sister!” Dash insisted.
“Why do you think so?” Dash’s mom asked.
“Because, it was in my dream before...” Dash said, “I dreamt about playing with my little sister...”
“In your dream... with your sister?” Her mother asked...
“Yeah!” Dash quickly shot back.
A month had a passed since their conversation... Dash was sitting on the living room with her mother knitting something, as she draws a portrait of her sister, using crayons and with a paper.
“Who’s that?” Dash’s mother asked.
“My little sister!” Dash exclaimed. Her mother laughed a bit, as she hears her answer...
“Odd little filly... Doing this again.” Her mother said, smiling as she looks at Dash with her vivid imagination of what to come.
“If I have a little sister, I’ll play with her every day... I’ll share my snakes with her. Also, if somepony bullies her, I’ll beat them up!” Dash said, as she really meant what she had just said.
Her mother smiles at her daughters thought, “You’re a kind Sister...” Her mother said, smiling over Rainbow Dash.
Dash was really having high hopes, dreaming every night of her new born sister... but at the Eve of Hearts Warming Day... something happened that made her realize... that her sister won’t be coming at all...
Dash was called to the hospital, as her mother was rushed in earlier that day. Dash saw her father and her mother with dextrose and lying in bed, looking directly at Dash.
“Sorry, Dashie...It looks like... your little sister is not going to make it...” He mother said, “And also, it seems that mommy can’t have a baby anymore.” Dash’s mother said, trying to maintain a smiling face for her daughter...
“I’m sorry... I’m really sorry...”
Was the last thing Dash heard, before she went home with her uncle, leaving her mother in the hospital to recover. That night at her room, she prayed to Celestia.
“Dear Celestia...” She started as she kneels on her bed... “Dear Celestia... Dear Celestia, please help my mom get well soon...” Dash prayed. She soon sees an image of Santa Hooves... “Also Mare-Clause, instead of mama... can you give me a little sister?” She asked, wishing at the bottom of her heart. “I’ll treasure her... Definitely, I’ll definitely take good care of her...”
(Current Time)
Dash remembers those times of her filly-hood, smiling as she sits and looking blankly at the table in the restaurant.
“Big sis?” Choco called out for Dash. “Big sis? Is something wrong?” Choco asked...
Dash snapped back to reality and looked over at Choco, “Oh? No, it’s nothing...” Dash sheepishly said, Dash looked at Choco’s plate seeing that she already finished her meal. “Oh? You’re done eating?”
“Yes! It was delicious...” Choco happily said...
“Then, it’s about time to go...” Dash picks up Choco’s stuff and heads down the second floor... Dash starts to browse on some of the items displayed there, and started to think of something...
“A Hearts Warming gift...” Dash said to herself. She soon spots something in particular; she goes closer on the item and gazed upon it: She was looking at a magnificent Deer Amulet, with silver coating and small gems crusted on its surface.
“If I buy this for her, Fluttershy should be very happy.” Dash said to herself, as she goes to another of her... fantasies...
“Although it’s a bit late, here...” Dash shows her the Amulet. “It’s your Hearts Warming present.”
“Ahh... So beautiful!” Fluttershy exclaims, as her eyes shines in delight.
“No matter how beautiful the amulet is, it is incomparable to your beauty.” Dash said, looking like a prince charming on her pose as she hands the amulet to Fluttershy.
“Stop it, you are too kind.” Fluttershy said, as she blushed towards Dash’s affection towards her, and to top it off, a stream of rose filled the imagination fully. Dash soon returns to the real word, smiling on her own thought.
“That’s great!” She said to herself. “But, I don’t have that kind of courage.” Dash added to her mind notes. The sales mare noticed Dash looking at the amulet and went to entertain her.
“Are you buying your mare-friend a present?” The sales-mare asked Dash.
“Ahh.... It’s not that...” Dash said, but the sales-mare took hold of her and shows her the merchandise.
“Then come over here...” The sales-mare was quick on her heels, as she shows Dash the displayed amulets and rings on the counter and started to ask some questions. “Let me ask “how old is she”?”
“These are the ones that are most popular now.” She took out a brooch with emerald and diamond encrusted to its side. “This one and this one is nice...” She shows her some other jewelry to Dash.
“That... Then, I’ll... This...” Dash just can’t decide on what to choose. “Then, I’ll take a look on those.” Dash said, as she went to browse some more...
“Understood, so this one and that one, correct?” The sales-mare said, showing Dash more of the jewelries.
Meanwhile, Choco was left standing with the clothes her sister bought for her; she looked at her sister and waited... Just then, Choco spotted something at the corner of her eye... A foal with a balloon tied on its wing, the foal was heading up back to the 4th floor. Choco got curious and wondered if she could have one of those. She puts down the bag she was holding on to and followed the foal up one floor.
Choco reached the 4th floor again, but lost sight of the foal and his balloon, but instead, Choco found a stack of cuddly teddy bears, the moment she laid her eyes on those stuffed bears, she immediately fell in love towards the bears, and goes over to hug one of them.
Mean while, Dash already finished her browsing over the jewelries, she payed for the one she picked, and waited for her receipt. “Here you are ma’am, thank you very much...” The sales-mare said as Dash was about look back towards her sister.
“Choco? Sorry for the long wait...” But Choco was nowhere to be found, and her paper bag Choco left was the only thing Dash saw. As dash looks around for any sign of Choco, the sales-mare spoke.
“Um, if you mean the young filly that was over there, she just went up the 4th floor.” The sales-mare said.
“Ehh?!” Dash quickly gathered her things and literally flies over the 4th floor. “Where did she go?” Dash looked from left to right, as she heads forward towards the toy department. “That Choco... I hope she didn’t go outside.” Dash said, as she frantic to find her sister.
At that same time... Choco was going down the fourth floor, on the other set of stairs. She leaped down at the last few steps, and lands down slightly using her magic to float herself down. She happily went back to where her sister Dash was buying jewelries, but by the time she got there Dash was nowhere to be found.
“Huh? Big Sis? She’s not here...” Choco said, as she looks round the large crowd of ponies around her... “Big Sis...”
Choco was left alone... Standing in the middle of the vast shopping building.

Several minutes of searching later, Dash soon reaches the 5th floor, and was exhausted.
“Ah, come on! Really, where did she go?!” Dash was panicking, she only had Choco for a day, and Dash already lost her, and in a shopping building of all places... As Dash was looking around some more, an announcement is being brought up to the shopping area.
“This is a search announcement...” The voice started. “Choco’s Big Sister... Choco’s Big Sister... Your little sister is here with us. If you’re listening, please come to the information center...” The message repeats one more time, as Dash lets out a sigh and a goofy face, knowing that she’s safe, Dash was relieved and went straight to the information center.

In the information center, Choco’s crying her heart out, already missing her Big Sis, and thinking that she may have left her alone. The mare who was taking care of the lost children tries to comfort Choco and calm her down.
“Here, Choco have some candy. Please don’t cry.” The mare said, as she offers Choco some sweets... At that very same moment, Dash quickly arrives at the Information Center. “Choco...” Dash called out, Choco recognized Dash's voice and stood up,
“Big Sis!” She called out, still tearing up. Dash was about to go in to get her, but Choco ran towards her and gave her a huge embrace, crying further in Dash’s shoulder. “Big Sis...” Choco lets out her feelings towards Dash.
“Where did you go? You had me worried.” Dash said, as she returned the hug at Choco as she cried all the way...
Later that day, it was already sundown when Dash and Choco were heading back to their apartment. Choco was still sobbing while she and Dash heads for home.
“Hey Choco, are you going to cry all the way to the apartment?” Dash asked Choco, who was clinging beside her.
“B-because, you suddenly went missing.” Choco said to Dash.
“You’re the one who suddenly went missing...” Dash said to herself...
“Then, I became suddenly uneasy and felt so lonely.” Choco said, then came sad and cried again. Dash was out of words and thinks on something to cheer her up. Then she got an idea.
“Okay, I know I know...” Dash grabs something in her saddle, but hesitates to do so, till she decided to give Choco this instead. Dash goes in front of Choco and knelt down, “Here, I’ll give you this, so stop crying, okay?” Dash brings out a box and opens it, showing her the Deer Amulet; Dash was looking at back at the shopping building. Choco stops crying and looks at the amulet.
“This...is for me?” Choco said, as she looks at the amulet.
“This is a Hearts Warming gift from Big Sister...” Dash said to Choco.
“Big sis...” Choco said, as if she was about to say something.
“Yes?” Dash asked... but before Dash can react further, Choco gave her a peck on the cheek, Dash blushed completely as she held on her own cheek to where Choco had kissed her. Dash was in a daze, only reacting after a minute.
“W-what was that for?” Dash jerked back, not knowing what just happened.
“Big Sis gave gives her litter sister a present; shouldn’t she give her a thank you kiss in return?” Choco said, while Dash was still dazed.
“Huh?” Was the only word Dash said.
“That’s written here.” Choco took out her notebook, reading a similar thing in it. Dash was still dazed of what just happened earlier.
“Eh?”
“Then, that’s okay, right? Big Sis.” Choco said, smiling down at her Big Sister... Rainbow Dash.
Dawn breaks from the peaceful land of Equestria... As Rainbow Dash is sleeping away on her comfortable bed. It’s the morning of a brand new year... Dash was sleeping beside her new found sister, as she was woken up once again by a knock on the window pane...
“Ngghh~” Dash groaned and groggily stood up from her bed. The knocks grew louder, as Dash got out of bed letting out a huge yawn... She then looks at her clock to see what the time was... It was 6:30 in the morning... “Geez! Who is it? This early in the morning...” She quickly walks towards the window... “Okay, okay, okay~ I’m opening the window. h-huh?!” Dash was facing again a familiar sight that he saw that christmas morning... Santa Hooves.
Dash was stunned to see her again... and on a new year! Dash heard barking below... and sure enough, winona was there once again... “De ja vu” Dash said to her self.
“Her again? Moreover, today is the first day of new year... W-whaaa~” Dash was cut off from her monologue, as Santa Hooves barged into her room. “W-what? What are you doing here?” She asked.
“I’m here to collect the returned goods...” Santa Hooves claimed as she kneels down next to Choco.
“Returned goods?” Dash tilted her head, not knowing what the mare had just said.
“You weren’t satisfied with the Christmas Present, were you? I’m here to take it back...” She then bends down and carries Choco on her back... taking Choco to her hovering cart...
“Hey, what are you planning to do to Choco?” Dash asked demandingly.
“Didn’t I say I’m taking it back?” Santa repeated.
“Wait a minute! I never said that I wanted to return her!” Dash shouted, she never really asked for her to be returned.
“There are many others who longed for a little sister other than you. I’ll go wash her and give her to the others who wished for one.” Santa persistently said to Dash, but Dash refused to her claim.
“I said I don’t wish to return her!” Dash argued, but Santa didn’t listen... instead she gave him something.
“Here, this gift certificate is your make up gift. Take it and buy whatever you want...” Santa then shows him a couple of gift vouchers in exchange for Choco herself.
“Huh?” Dash was too stunned to react quick enough... Choco woke up, looking over at Dash... “Big...sister...” She muttered, enough to be heard by Rainbow Dash. Santa drops the vouchers to the floor then heads towards her craft, then revs it up.
“Hey, wait!” but before he can speak up... Santa Hooves zooms away. “Ahh, Choco!!!
And just like that... a flash of light blinded Dash, making her wake up on that unsavory dream... she looks on into space thinking what just happened... then lets out a sigh. “It’s just a dream.” She muttered, then glances over to Choco’s side of the bed, only to find out that she wasn’t there... “h-huh, she’s gone!!”
Dash then turned the sheets inside out looking for her baby sister... “Choco!” She looks around Choco’s side, but to no luck, only to discover she was on Dash’s side of the bed sleeping soundly.
Dash gave a sigh of relief... seeing that her sister was still there with her. “Don’t scare me...” She said, smiling over at her. Just when her mood was brighten up... Choco turned over, causing her clit to reveal at Dash’s sight... Dash blushed greatly at this.
“E-eh? What are you doing, Choco?! What kind of sleep is this?” Dash yelled loudly, enough to wake up Choco on her slumber.
“The new year’s bell hasn't rung yet?” Choco lazily asked.
“No, it already-- Why are you in my bed cover?!”
After that awkward wake up call.. Choco sits up, and rubs her eyes then gave a slight yawn. “Good morning big sis...” She said softly...
After which, they both got freshen up then had breakfast... Choco looked over at her big sister and smiled at her. “Happy new year, big sister~” She greeted... “New year’s greeting is like this, right, Big sis?”
“Huh? Yeah...”
“Gimme~!” Choco suddenly extends her hands over to Dash.
“Huh?” Dash tilted her head on Choco, not getting what she’s doing.
Choco smiled sweetly, waiting for something, then looks at Dash once more. “Eh? Shouldn’t Big sis give me a gift during New year?”
“Eh? N-new years... gift?” “Gimme...” Choco begged... Dash quickly tries to think of something to give her... then she remembers an envelop on her desk. She quickly gets a hundred bits on her bag, then puts in on the envelop... then writes down on it “to Choco” then gave it to her as her New year’s present.
“Here, your New years gift.” Dash hands it to her, as Choco takes it.
“It doesn’t look the same as what’s written in the notebook.” Choco said, remembering what she read on her little pink notebook...
“U-uhh... Well, we’re like that here...” Dash reasoned, but aside from that, Choco was happy to have received her gift all the same.
“But, I’m grateful. Thank you, Big Sis.”
“T-thats good then...” Dash said, looking over at Choco, seeing her happy even though she was still new to Dash...
Dash and Choco continued on their break fast... but choco noticed something odd about the food... She took out her notebook and reads it, then looks back at the table... then back at her notebook... then she spoke.
“Big sis, is there no New year’s dishes?”
“No...”
“How about Cakes?”
“No...”
“Orange flavored bread?”
“No...”
“New year’s Cider?”
“No...”
“Then how about a phoenix dance?”
“No...”
“Then, what about some Sweet Sun Cakes?”
“Thats during Summer!”
Choco puffed her cheeks a bit, expressing her frustration... “So boring... This is a rare opportunity for me to go over the New Year.” Choco said, eating a piece of toast.
“I know... Lets pay a visit to Celestia’s Shrine after we finish breakfast...” Dash suggested, which quickly caught Choco’s attention.
“Really?” Choco perks up.
“So let’s hurry up and finish eating...” Dash told her, as Choco smiled at her then starts eating her eggs...
“I love tenderly fried eggs the most!” Choco claimed as she eats her food, leaving Dash looking at her new found sister happily.
Later that day, Dash and Choco went out to Celestia’s Shrine, where sculptures of their omnipotent ruler is seen all around the Shrine in different but majestic positions.
Choco looked at them with both fascination and amazement. “So this is what they mean by visiting the Shrine during New year.” Choco claimed.
“Ah, no, it’s slightly different...” Dash said, correcting what Choco was thinking...
“Big sis, lets go inside!” Choco suggested, as she runs off leading the way... Dash followed her, towards the main hall of the Shrine, seeing that so much ponies were having the same idea as they were...
Choco gazed at the Shrines interior from top to bottom, fascinated by the sculptures and interior decoration of the place. Choco spots a particular place near the exit... it was a deep well.
Choco went over for a closer look, but can’t seem to see the purpose of it being there... Dash went to her and explained how it works...
“This is how you do it...” Dash takes out one bit, then tossed it to the well... she then prayed, wishing for something...
“Wow, let me try!” Choco quickly got a bit on her envelope then tossed it to the well, making her own wish, but then sneezes. Dash chuckled a bit from this...
“Happy new year” A voice of an old mare spoke from behind, causing Dash get startled slightly. “Rainbow Dash, you’re visiting the shrine too? What a coincidence...” The old mare said to her.
“U-uhmmm...” Dash wanted to ask who she was... but the old mare beats her to it.
“I’m Granny Smith, I live next door to you.” Smith said to her, which startled Dash a bit... then turns to a laughter... “Surely you haven’t forgotten about me, have you?”
“H-how could I?” Dash laughed nervously, ashamed is she way to the old one that she completely forgotten about her...
“Oh?” Smith looked over to the young filly next to Dash.
“Uhh... This is my little sister.” Dash explained to the old one. “She came from the countryside... Now because of some reasons, I’m taking care of her.” Dash said while petting her mane.
“Ah, so this is the one... I heard about her from the landlady...” The old one exclaims.
“Happy new year granny!” Choco greeted suddenly.
“Mmm, yes, Happy New Year my dear... Then, Rainbow Dash, I’m leaving now.” Smith said, bidding farewell to Dash and Choco.
“Yeah, goodbye granny!” Choco said to her, then walks off...
Dash chuckles a bit more, before taking up a huge sigh, evading the chance of getting embarrassed...
After which, they came home soon after their trip to town... Bringing home a basket filled with oranges, apples and bananas... Choco was happily eating one of each of the fruits, while Dash watches her eat... At that moment, a knock on the door was heard...
“I’ll see who it is!” Choco gets up and opens the door with her magic... “Hello!” As she opens it, a mare was standing in front of it...
“Hellooo!!” She said, then enters the room... “I’m here to greet you for the new year...”
“R-rarity!! W-what’s with that dress?!” Dash looks at Berry Punch who was only wearing a loose shirt and lingerie, but Rarity only ignores Dash.
“Look, look... I even brought a gift with me.” Berry Punch shows her a bag with Cider and chips inside it.
“Y-you're not thinking of drinking in my room are you?!” Dash said, directing her gaze off of Berry’s lingerie.
“My room is such a mess. At least for the New Year, I’d like to be able to drink in a clean room.” Berry said, nearly pleading on to Dash.
“Y-you can come over whenever you want, but please wear something proper before coming here.” Dash blocks her eyes, preventing her seeing something she shouldn’t
Berry tilts her head, “Oh? My, my... It’s obvious that you’re happier seeing me this way.” Berry leans a bit to Dash.
“W-wait! I’m not that kind of mare!!” Dash yelled.
“Is this true, Big Sis?” Choco asked from behind the two mares.
“Of course not!” Dash protested... Berry looks up and see’s Dash’s sister.
“Ah, you're that rumored little sister...” Better stood up, to take a good look at Choco.
“Happy New Year~” Choco greeted.
“Oh, yeah~ Happy New Year to you too.” Berry greeted back.
“She just came from the countryside recently.” Dash said to Berry.
“I heard all about it from the landlady.”
“Is that so?” Dash sighed... looks like the news starts to get out even more around the apartment... Berry goes over to Choco kneels down to the height.
“My name is Berry Punch, pleased to meet you...” She smiled.
“My name is Choco... Big sis’s little sister!” She happily replied.
“Ehh, your name’s Choco? What a cute name!” Berry said, making Choco smile... Berry then grabs something on her bag and gave it to Choco... “Here... I’ll give you this” Berry gives her a can of strong cider to Choco.
“Ahh, don’t give Cider to minors!”
Berry walks over to Dash then gives her a can. “Here’s your share, Dashie...”
“Oh, thanks...” She said to Berry, then quickly reverts her attention to her sister... “I said you mustn't!!”
After a while, Dash and Berry started to think a couple rounds cider, leaving Choco to only drink Apple juice...
“Big sis, I’m tired of apple juice’s” Choco complained.
“No. You have to be older than twenty to drink this.” Dash shot back to Choco’s complaint.
“Uhg... Boring...” Choco grumbles.
Berry looks at Choco then at Dash observing the for a bit. “You two are not alike... She’s too cute to be a little sister of a dull-looking mare like you...”
“Well, sorry for not being cool like I used to!” Dash smuggingly replies to Berry.
“She’s not really your little sister, right?” Once berry said those words, this made Dash jerk backwards... surprised on what Berry told her.
“You’re wrong!” Choco protested. “I’m Big sis’s little sister!”
“Oh, pardon me, sorry... It’s just Choco is too cute!” Berry then stood up * Alright then, I’ll take off some of my clothing as an apology!” Berry then starts to strip in front of Dash and Choco.
“Gahh! It’s okay, there’s no need to undress yourself!” Dash blocks her from Choco’s view.
“Is that so? You’re the one who’s happy.” Berry teased.
“It’s not like that!! I said don't undress!”
“So it was like that after all!”
“No, means no!”
Just then, they all stopped by the sound of someone entering Dash’s room. “My, my, the door is wide open.”
“Landlady!” All of them said unison, as the landlady enters the room.
“It’s so lively when the new year starts.” The landlady said, as she went closer to the table.
“I’m sorry for bothering you.” Dash apologizes to the Landlady, as she sits down near the three ponies in the room.
“No, don't be... It’s New Year so it’s alright... I wouldn't mind this little matter... Oh right! here~” She showed them a bottle of one of the most expensive Cider in all of Equestria. “Here is your gift.”
“That’s our landlady! being generous as always!” Berry cried out... happy to see that the landlady gave them a bottle of expensive Cider.
“Landlady, is your foot alright?” Dash asked, upon seeing some bandages on her hoof...
“Huh? oh, it’s fine... I’m getting old so this happens a lot now.”
“I was still very surprised... While I was sleeping, a loud sound blasted out. When I ran outside, the landlady had fallen down the stairs...” Berry claimed.
“On the other hand, your habit of sleeping in all day saved me.” The landlady thanked Berry, for helping her back then.
“Really?!” berry gave out a laugh at this.
“Not only my ankle, buy my wrist was also strained. It’s really a shame, but really... Thanks for all of your kindness...”
“What are you saying? It’s obvious for a tenant to help their landlady.”
“Yeah, Landlady...”
“Thank you, both of you...” The landlady said to Dash and Berry... She gave up a long sigh, then spoke. “I’m really getting too old... this incident really thought me that. Thanks to this accident, I’ve finally decided to stop being a landlady”
“L-Landlady, you're not saying that you're going to~” Dash started, but the landlady looked at her, smiling... seems like she had made up her mind about the decision.
“i’m sorry for being too sudden about this, but, I’m planning on leaving this place sometime soon.” As she said those words, the three ponies lets out a gasp of surprise. “Ever since my husband died, my son and his wife have been asking me to live with them. but I can’t just leave this place after nearly thirty years in the business...”
“Landlady, then...”
“I’m no longer in an age where I’m able to take risks...” The landlady said, sad just as the three tenants were.
“Then, what are you planning to do with this apartment? You’re not saying that the Autumn manor will have to go too, right?”
“My granddaughter will take over my job, so it’s no problem. This will be the same as before.” The landlady said to them.
“So, when are you moving out?” Dash asked her.
“In three days...”
“Thats quite a rush...” Dash claimed.
“If I keep procrastinating, I might change my mind.” The landlady said, while she looks on the window.
“Are you leaving, landlady?” Choco asked the old mare.
“Oh, I can wait for a few days... but for now, I’ll stay for a bit...”
“Is that so?” Choco looks down, saddened by the landlady’s decision.
“I felt sad that I’m leaving too... it’s rare for me to get to know such a cute kid like you, Choco...” She pets her, which Choco gave a sweet smile in response on her petting. “Well, I hate being all touchy during the first day of new year. I’m sorry for talking about these boring stuff...” She giggles a bit. “Let’s party a bit so that our luck won't go bad.” She suggested.
“Yeah, thats right! Okay, today, lets all get drunk together!!” Berry suggested, as all of them cheered.
“Choco you can only drink apple juice” Dash said to Choco.
“Eh?!” Choco complaints.
“”No” means “NO”!” Insisted Dash to her, as they all drank all day...
Later... Berry, and the landlady soon left... it was 12:00 noon, Dash was slumped by the table... and hear head hurts...
“Big sister...” Choco calls out but Dash could only respond with a groan. “Big sister, it’s already noon, I just ate my lunch...”
“Sorry, Choco. I drank too much, my head hurts... let me sleep a little.” Dash grumbles on the table...
“I drank a lot too, and I’m not feeling any headaches...” Choco implied.
“You drank juice!!” Dash gets up, but then gets back down, as her head acted up again.
“wouldn't it be better if Big sis also drank the same juice as I did?” Choco said, making Dash regret that she drank Cider heavily.
“I’m repenting...” She groans, as she layed there for a few hours...
