This story is set just after chapter two of the fimfic "Lessons in the Dark by Quiet Water" and has a story simular as the movie "Batman Begins"
Cheerilee was once a school teacher of Ponyville Elementary school till she was framed by Diamond Tiara for child molesting and was sentince to life in prison, ending her teaching career. Besides her new friend Vinyl Scratch, no pony believes her not even the main six, and she see's nothing to live for anymore till a mysterious stallion came and proposed an offer that will change her life of a school teacher... to a teacher of justice.
It was a cold dark night in the Canterlot prison where most of the inmates were sleeping while some still hollering of “Get me out of here!” and “I didn’t do anything!” All except for Cheerilee who was laying in her bed thinking about the inmates that are hollering. Then she began to murmur to her self.
“I used to be one of them along time ago.”
She been awake for a couple of hours tonight and the last night and the night she was brought in three months ago. The first night she screamed like any new inmate that comes here pleading, begging for somepony to believe her side of the story, but now she just stays awake because of how she came.
“It was injustice.” She whispered to her self. “I was only convicted because Filthy Rich bribe the jury to convict me guilty.”
Then she got up and began pacing around in her cell thinking about the trial or more specifically about her former student Diamond Tiara that she now hated. “Why did I go to prison while that… student and her father got away with it?” She said and thought of how Tiara did it. “It was her she was the own that painted that erotic image on Sweetie Belle not me.”
She then stopped and looked around her dark sell and looked down to the floor and said. “And because of their injustice I’ll never teach again.” Cheerilee used to be an Elementary teacher, she loved to teach her students how to grow up and shine into adult hood but now she is in prison never to do her passion that her cutie mark showed. She then went to her bed and lay onto it and finally began to sleep until a mare guard came to her sell and said.
“Hey precious a late time visitor is here to see you.”
Cheerilee wore a confused look and said. “But it isn’t visiting time.”
“The stallion pulled a lot of strings to get a conversation with you.” The guard said plainly.
After the guard spoke she opened Cheerilee’s cell and was now escorting her to the visiting room.

When they got there they saw that there was no pony to be seen all except one behind a class frame with a telephone attached to it. The last pony that visited her was her mother… or her former mother since she and her family decided to disown her after the trial, Cheerilee just hopes that this visit would be more present then her last one. Cheerilee went to the chair in front of the frame and she looked at her visitor who picks up the phone. He has a light grey mane and his coat a darker shade of grey. She then pick up the phone and said.
In a visiting room Cheerilee looked at her visitor Ra's al hooves, trying to remember anypony named that. Thinking of no pony name or looked like him she finally said.
“I never met you in my entire life.”
“And?” Ra's Al Hooves said.
“And I doubt you haven’t met me either.” Cheerilee said. “So why are you here?”
There was a silence in the room for a moment till Ra’s finally spoke. “I have a proposal for you miss Cheerilee.” Then the former school teacher smirked and said.
“If this is a marriage proposal then no thanks, the prison doesn’t allow fraternization.”
Her mysterious visitor grinned a little and said. “Oh no nothing like that.” He then leaned closer to the window and said. “I can’t give you the details at least not here but I will say you will get your freedom from this place.”
Cheerilee smirked and leaned to the window just as he did and said. “You sure, having a child molester out on the streets wouldn’t really be a smart move don’t you think.” Cheerilee hated saying that because she was innocent but now she finally excepted that no pony besides her friend would ever believe her so she might of well play the part of it and hide her thoughts under her smirk until Ra’s Al Hooves spoke again.
“But your not and you were framed because of a little filly that you tried to discipline.”
Cheerilee’s smirk was gone and now she wore a face of shock. ‘For the last three months, no pony from the outside had never believed her not even her own parents… but now here he is a unknown stallion that came out of no were just said that I was innocent for a crime I didn’t do.’ Cheerilee thought to her self and asked.
“How… how did you now I’m innocent?”
“Like I said before not here but some were else.” He said. “If you agree on my proposal.”
Cheerilee paused for a moment thinking of what she should do. ‘I’ll be free… out of this place. I would get to smell the fresh air again, eat normal food, not worrying of being hurt day after day. But…’ She thought of somepony that had befriended her here. ‘I wouldn’t see Vinyl Scratch again.’ She was thinking for a moment and came with a compromise. “Alright I’ll go. But I only have one demand.”
“What would that be Miss Cheerilee?” Ra’s al hooves said.
Cheerilee was silent for a few seconds and then spoke. “I want my friend Vinyl Scratch to come with us.”
Ra’s paused for a moment thinking of her demand and then finally spoke. “Your friend is not innocent. She is guilty of her crime.”
“I know but she now wants redemption for it.” Cheerilee said back. “And I can tell that you can do that.”
Ra’s was now thinking of what to do about her demands for a moment before Cheerilee broke his silence. “I won’t go if she isn’t.” Cheerilee said plainly and after a few minutes he finally spoke up.
“Alright we’re bringing her with us.”
When hearing that Cheerilee sighed in relief of not leaving her friend here.

After eleven minutes passed, the same guard brought Vinyl Scratch. “Hey Cheer!” Vinyl said while sitting next to her and looked at the stallion behind the window. “Who’s your friend… or was your friend?”
Cheerilee then looked at Vinyl and said. “He has a proposal for us.”
After five minutes of briefing Vinyl on the proposal Ra’s spoke up. “Well ladies what is your answer?” Cheerilee and Vinyl looked at each other and on unison answered.
“Yes.”
Ra’s Al Hooves smiled and said. “Good now let leave this place.”
Both mares were silent and looked at him with confused faces before Cheerilee finally spoke. “Wait you mean right NOW. But wouldn’t we have to wait for a few days before being released?”
“Yes well like you said you were convicted of molesting and no jury even a non corrupt one would never let you leave.” Ra’s said plainly.
“So how are you going to… get… us…?” Vinyl said before finishing her sentence she realize what he meant. Cheerilee also realize the situation and finally ask.
“You mean…”
Before she could finish Ra’s flick a marble like object at the window. The marble exploded and the window broke immediately after. He then ripped the phone out of the wall throwing it at the guard nocking her out instantly. Then more explosions occurred nocking down doors after doors leaving an exit to the outside world.
Ra’s Al Hooves walked towards the exit and then turned around and looked at the two mares with stunned expressions and he asked. “Are coming or not?”
The two mares were shock of what’s happening. ‘We’re breaking out of prison.’ Cheerilee thought to her self thinking of what to do. If they leave they’ll become fugitives and if they don’t they’ll still be in pretty deep for being apart of an escape. They both looked at each other and nodded and they began walking to the exit with Ra’s Al Hooves.
When they got outside they saw a helicopter on the streets and without hesitation they walked onto it and flew off before any officials got to the seen.
They were free finally free but what will happen to them when they reach their destination?
In the little town of Ponyville the ponies are enjoying their day and the fillies and colts are at Ponyville Elementary School with their new teacher.
After school the Cutie Mark Crusaders were walking back to the library where their families told them to. They all wore sad faces just like any other school day since the trial. After a while Sweetie Belle finally spoke.
“I miss Cheerilee.”
“Me to Sweetie.” Applebloom said.
Scootaloo stopped and said. “We now what really happened to Sweetie Belle.” Scootaloo began to tear a little then said. “Why did Cheerilee have to go?”
Applebloom now looked at Scootaloo and said. “It because that trial wasn’t fair!” Applebloom began to tear up as well. “I now Diamond Tiara’s father set it up. They didn’t even let us speak.”
“At least you went.” Sweetie Belle said tearing up as well. “I couldn’t because they said that I was to ‘traumatized’ of what happened.”

After five minutes crying the CMC stopped and finally began to walk to the library. They got there and when they opened the door there were streamers popping out of everywhere with a sign that says. “Justice Have Been Served Party!” with the main six have put up.
The CMC wore confused faces of what they’re looking at before Applebloom asked.
“What is all this?”
Twilight stepped forward and said. “It’s the celebration of Cheerilee getting what she deserves.” Rarity then trots beside Twilight and said.
“Sorry we had to wait so long to throw this party.” Rarity said in a royal tone. She then looked at Sweetie Belle. “We wanted to wait till everything settled down.”
The CMC put up grins for them but hiding what they really thought of the party. They thought it was an insult to Cheerilee that use to teach before her trial and that they should just tell the out right of how wrong this is. “It’s a cool party everypony.” Scootaloo said, the CMC as much as they hate it they don’t want to be party poopers.
Then Pickiepie pop out of a small cup Twilight was holding that shock Twilight and the CMC. “Come on everypony lets PARTY!”
The Elements of Harmony and the CMC began to party for about an hour before the three fillies got bored and then they were going to turn on the TV to watch any cartoons. Then Applejack went up to the fillies and asked.
“So girls how’s ya’ll new teacher?”
The girls looked at each other and finally Applebloom spoke up. “She’s not really the best teacher out there, if ya’ll now what I mean.” Applebloom meant that. Since Cheerilee’s imprisonment they got a new teacher, there new teacher was nothing at all like their first one. She’ll yell at any foal that does the tiniest of mistakes, she doesn’t help any of them and she gives them very hard work; she cut recess time in half for the students to work harder. In short she is the meanest teacher they ever had.
“Well at least she antes a sick pony that molests foals.” Applejack snarled about Cheerilee.
The fillies didn’t say nothing and just watched the cartoons until a news broadcast popped up. The three fillies were now confused and Scootaloo said. “Hey what happened to the cartoons?”
The main six also noticed that emergency broadcast at went to see what’s happening. “Spike can you be a dear and turn up the volume for us would you.” Spike without a hesitation obeyed the beautiful mare went to the TV and turned it up and everypony were now listening to the news.
“What could be so important to stop this party?” Pickiepie said coming out of the coach cushions and sat behind the three fillies. Then a voice came out of the TV and said.
“Breaking News foal molester escapes prison!”
Everypony in the room wore shocked faces hearing Newsmare (A mare that tells the news with a microphone and a news camera as a cutie mark) all except for Fluttershy that was cowering under the cushions. They were silent for a sec before Rainbow Dash spoke up. “Heh don’t worry girls it’s probably somepony else.” Rainbow said reassuring that it wasn’t Cheerilee. “There’s no way it could be her.”
Then Newsmare spoke again. “Twenty seven year old mare; Miss Cheerilee a former school teacher of Ponyville Elementary school that was sentenced life for molesting her students had escaped just an hour ago with another prisoner. Twenty eight year old; Vinyl Scratch was sentence fourteen years for drug dealing, and drug use.”
Rainbow just landed on the ground with her mouth open hearing what Newsmare just said, and she wasn’t the only pony to be shocked. There was silence before Twilight spoke up.
“How is that possible? She couldn’t have escaped. There’s no way she could escape from a secured prison.”
Newsmare spoke again. “We have confirmation this is was not a regular escape. This was planned by either in or out side of Canterlot prison.” Then a video came up and Newsmare spoke. “This is the security footage of how the two inmates escaped with help of an accomplish from outside. Here is the footage.”
The video was in black and white and had no sound. It showed a middle age old stallion trotting to a visiting window and behind it was Cheerilee and it showed the two talking. After twenty minutes Vinyl Scratch came, and five minutes later the two mares nodded. A moment later the class window shattered and the guard fell unconscious while the back doors fell after multiple of explosions. The two mares looked around for a moment before following the stallion out of prison.
“So far official still don’t now the location of the two mares and their accomplish.” Newsmare reappeared after the video and said. “If anypony see’s these fugitives please report them to the authorities. This is your local Newsmare with your news.”
The TV now went back to cartoons that the fillies were watching a few minutes ago before Spike turned it off with a worried look. It was all quiet till Twilight broke silence.
“Ok girls I got a plan.” Everypony then looked at here for what will she say next. “Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Rarity take the fillies back home and stay with them. While that me, Fluttershy, and Pickiepie will go to Mayor Mare to order a safety patrol watch over Ponyville.”
Everypony nodded and wearing serious faces even Fluttershy and Pickiepie weren’t cowering or joking about this. The three fillies shock as well but unlike the main six they were a bit happy about this learning that their old teacher wouldn’t rot in prison. Then before Twilight and her group left Fluttershy went to the fillies and said.
“Don’t worry girls we won’t let that mare go anywhere near you.” After that Fluttershy then went back to off Twilight. ‘Oh yeah they still think she did it’ Sweetie thought to her self.
When they left the library they were walking with their ‘escorts’ back to their homes. The three fillies all thought of the same thing after what they had learned just now.
Far away in White Tail woods a helicopter with two mares have just escaped prison. The two mares are Cheerilee and Vinyl Scratch that chose to be outlaws now for a unknown reason. Cheerilee finally got up and went to Ra's Al Hooves to get some answers.
"Ok now we're out of prison. So now can you tell us why you wanted us?"
Ra's heard her and looked at her for a couple of seconds before speaking. "It's because you can be a excellent member of our secret order miss Cheerilee." Ra's was now looking a Vinyl. "And maybe even you miss Vinyl Scratch."
Vinyl was now wearing a questionable look and asked. "What is this order of yours?"
"I'm sorry miss Vinyl but you and Cheerilee will need to find out when you get to our temple in the Frozen North mountains." Ra's said while looking at both of them.
"You do mean we right?" Cheerilee said then noticing that the helicopter was disbanding. The helicopter landed in a small meadow where Cheerilee and Vinyl were pushed off of the helicopter. "What are you doing?"
Then the helicopter was now lifting off leaving them before Ra's said. "When you go to the North find a rare green flower then bring one of each of you to the highest mountain. Do this will prove that you are worthy of the League." After saying that the helicopter left the two mares in the woods alone.
"What do we do now?" Vinyl asked looking at Cheerilee. Cheerilee was thinking for a minute and answered.
"We don't have anywhere to go besides the North."
"I'll take it that we are going to the Frozen North." Vinyl said with a smile but then her smile faded and she said. "If we don't get caught of course."
Cheerilee looked at Vinyl and said. "Don't worry we won't."
Vinyl grew a small grin and said. "Well what are we waiting for lets go."
Cheerilee and Vinyl now walked to the Frozen North. They had to stay hidden from other ponies while going through a settlement and other populated areas for they won't get caught by the authorities. They hopped on cargo trains going to the Crystal Empire. On the last train the jumped off near a mountain that held that rare flower. They climbed it and found a small field where there were green flowers. They picked them and now headed to the highest mountain in the area. While climbing they found a small village, the village looked isolated from the world so the two mares decided to go through it to get any supplies to begin climbing again. After hours of climbing they finally came to their destination, that was a huge temple that sat on a peak.
They went to the front door and opened it just to be kicked in the head by Ra's Al Hooves. Ra's was now looking down on them and said.
After reaching to their destination both Cheerilee and Vinyl were kicked in the face upon opening the door to the temple. They both got up and Vinyl then looked to Ra’s Al Hooves and said.
“What the hay was that for?”
“Because this is when your training begins.” Ra’s said then stands aside for the mares to enter. “Now welcome your new home.”
In side the two mares saw that the temple was really a giant training ground, large enough to train an entire army. Then they saw a small throne in the middle of the temple, and there sat Ra’s Al Hooves. The two mares were in ah till Cheerilee finally asked.
“Who are you ponies?”
Ra’s smile and said. “We are the League of Shadows.” He then got up and gave them a signal to follow and when they did he spoke again. “The League is a secret society that has existed for centuries, even before Hearts Warming Eve happened.”
Cheerilee stopped and saw ponies in bamboo cages asked. “What are they and why are they in those cages?” She then turned her head to Ra’s and asked. “For that matter what do you ponies do exactly?”
Ra’s also stopped but he didn’t turn his to face her and said. “We were created to serve justice to all and punish the criminals and the corrupt.” He said then looking at the cages below. “And for the ponies down there are criminals; thieves, rapist, murderers.”
After that he showed them the rest of the temple when Vinyl asked. “I gotta ask. What’s with your name, Ra’s Al Hooves? No offence, but it doesn’t real sound right.”
“It because it isn’t, I gave up my true name when I became the leader of the League.” Ra’s said while trotting. “When a member becomes the leader he or she will need to give up their name and takes, ‘s Al Hooves.”
Cheerilee then had a question. “But wait what about your first name?” She trotted faster to be next to him. “I mean not the Ra’s isn’t a bad name but.” She was cut off when Ra’s answered.
“You put the first two letters of your name in ‘s Al Hooves.” He then looked at Cheerilee and said. “My old name had Ra at the beginning. And when I became leader my name is now Ra’s Al Hooves.”
After he showed them the entire temple he took them to their quarters. “This is where you’ll be sleeping. Training begins tomorrow morning.” Ra’s said while leaving them in their new quarters. Both Cheerilee and Vinyle prepared to go to sleep until Vinyl asked. “Hey Cheer. Do you think we made a good chose coming here?”
Cheerilee lay on her bed and said. “Of course Vinyl, we had no where else to go and I want to put real criminals to justice.” Vinyl grew a small grin and nodded and soon both of them fell to sleep.
The next morning Ra’s woke them up. “Ladies your training will begin shortly. Come with me.” Cheerilee and Vinyl got up and trotted with him to the weapon area. “First you two will need to learn how to use explosives.” He said whiling picking up a teaspoon of powder from a barrel, then he through it to the floor were it immediately ignited in a puff of smoke.
“What is it using for?” Cheerilee asked looking to the floor where the powder ignited.
“Any number of reasons: Cover, distraction, and weapon.” Ra’s answered. Then Vinyl came and did the same thing.

Three weeks later.
Ra’s was now teaching them how to use the shadows as an advantage during combat and noncombat. He brought them to the darkest area of the temple to train them.
Cheerilee and Vinyl were having difficulty adjusting her eyes, and every time they thought they saw Ra’s is when he hits them where they were not looking. “To use the shadows to you’re advantage you need to become the shadows.” He whispered to them and said. “Do not use your believe your ears to navigate. Feel the shadows be with them and then you will find me.”
Cheerilee and Vinyl stood still doing nothing, not seeing, hearing, and not even breathing. Then they felt like they were in someplace else not, somewhere dark but visible. When they were in this trance they then drew the training swords and pointed them at Ra’s. Ra’s smiled and looked at the two mares wielding their swords at them. “Nicely done ladies.” Then he pulled a carpet under them and they both fell. “But we still have much practice.”

Six weeks later.
Ra’s brought them to a glacier to train them in combat. Both mares were fighting him trying to get an advantage but with no avail. Each time they thought they had him he counters it. Then Ra’s looked at both Cheerilee and Vinyl and said.
“You can’t defeat me because of your guilt. You won’t win unless you confess.” He then went after Vinyl and they locked swords with each other. “Who do you blame?”
Vinyl pushed back Ra’s and spoke. “It was my fault. I should have never got hooked on my own stuff.” Vinyl then became more furious in her attacks against Ra’s. “I should have never even got into that business in the first place. And because of me I lost my fillyfriend.” She then nearly had Ra’s till he kicked a piece of ice and it hit her in the head, nocking her over.
Ra’s was now looking at Cheerilee and said. “Your turn.” He went at her and they also locked swords. “Who do you blame?” Cheerilee was still locked to his sword and answered.
“It was Diamond T-“
Cheerilee didn’t finish because Ra’s hit her in the stomach taking the breath out of her. “No. It wasn’t her fault nor was it her father.” He then walked up to the down mare, Cheerilee quickly got up in a protective stance. “Now tell me. Whose fault was it?”
Cheerilee thought for a second then attacked Ra’s and locked swords again. “It was my fault. I should have notice she would do something like that.” Cheerilee broke the lock and was now furiously attacking Ra’s. “I should have been stricter with her. I should have been more able to do… ANYTHING.” She then flung Ra’s sword away and nock him down pointing hers at him.
Ra’s smiled again then said. “Good but you again need to now your surroundings.” He then kicked the ice under Cheerilee and broke it making the purple mare slide into the icy water.

Six weeks later.
All their training has come to this day, the day they become members of the league of shadows. The three mares wore black leather armor and mask for their initiation. Cheerilee and Vinyl sat next to each other facing Ra’s Al Hooves.
“This is your final lesson. This lesson will be conquering your worst fear.” Ra’s said while mixing the two flowers they had brought here into a powder substance. He then lit it into smoke and placed it to the two mares for them to breath. “Now breath. Face your fears.” Then a group of members in black armor came and Ra’s hid in them. “Find and defeat me and you will pass.”
The two mares did as he told them, and when they did everything felt weird that they were here but it looked like everything was moving, making it harder to concentrate. The two mares went into the group trying to find Ra’s, but every time they try to see if one of the members was him he attacks then realign him with the group. Then the two mares saw a small box in the middle of the room. They both trotted to the box and opened it to reveal their worst fear.
For Vinyl her fear was being deaf, not hearing anything in the world not even her own voice. What she was looking at are ponies she knew that were talking to her but she couldn’t hear what they were saying. Vinyl froze there in shock unable to move.
Cheerilee’s worst fear was different from her friends. Her fear was a mask mare that wore a black and purple suit that showed no emotion in her eyes. When she first appeared everypony in Ponyville liked her and looked up to her, but for Cheerilee she thought the mare was a mysterious demon that wouldn’t hesitate to take you down without a thought. The mare she was looking at was...
“Mare Do Well.”
Cheerilee also froze in fear before Ra’s attacked the two mares again. They tried to push their fear out of their way but couldn’t, till Ra’s manage to cut both of them on their arms. They recovered quickly but then saw their worst fear coming right at them but this time they did not froze they instead face their fear. They pulled their swords out and held it to the throat of their fear or specifically Ra’s throat. With the drug beginning to fade they put away their swords and bowed. Ra’s smile and clapped and said.
“Your training is complete.” The two mares got up and looked at each other with exited faces and then looked back at Ra’s. “Now for your initiation, bring them!” Four members of the league brought two prisoners in front of the two mares. Cheerilee and Vinyl were confused till Ra’s gave them two swords. “For the final initiation you will need to kill these criminals. After that you will be considered a member and both of you will lead these ponies to purge the criminals and the corrupt.” Vinyl picked up the sword but Cheerilee didn’t and just looked at till she looked back at Ra’s and said.
“No. I’m not an executioner.”
Ra’s grin faded and said. “These are criminals they need to have justice thrust down upon them.”
“I will bring criminals to justice but not in this way.” Cheerilee said plainly then looked at all the league members in the temple and asked. “Where are we going to lead these ponies?”
Ra’s Al Hooves began to walk back and forth. “For centuries the league has purge groups, cities, even entire nation of criminals and the corrupt. The last nation we purge was the old kingdom when their new leaders became selfish. And Canterlot now has underground criminalizations and corrupt officials as well.” Ra’s paused for a moment and then spoke again. “Canterlot most be purge. It must be destroyed.” After hearing what will happen to Canterlot, Cheerilee was going to object till she heard a slice sound and found the head of the prisoner of her friends lay on the ground, and she realized what had just happened. Vinyl Scratch just killed that prisoner. All Cheerilee manage to say was.
“Vinyl… but why?”
Vinyl looked at Cheerilee with a serious expression. “He’s right Cheer. Equestria won’t be at peace till Canterlot and the criminals their burn to the ground.” Vinyl then dropped her sword and picked up Cheerilee’s and hoofed it to her. “Your with us or not?” Cheerilee pause for a second then picked up her sword and aimed it at the prisoner. Both Ra’s and Vinyl put up grins till Cheerilee suddenly sliced a torch in haft and kicked it into a barrel of explosive powder. Before it exploded Vinyl manage to say one thing. “What?” The barrel explodes and a piece of wood hit Vinyl in the head nocking her out.
After the first explosion others began to detonate as well causing the entire temple to crumble. It began to fall apart with members being caught in it. After witnessing of what Cheerilee had done Ra’s pulled out his sword intent to kill the purple mare. She quickly drew her sword and blocked his attack. Ra’s and Cheerilee began to fight in the blazing inferno, while Ra’s tries to kill Cheerilee she is trying to find a way out. Then she was pushed back and her sword flung down into fire she then found her self under Ra’s but before he could make the finishing move Cheerilee saw a barrel behind him and she quickly shrugged. Ra’s looked behind him and saw an explosion and a sharpened wood board went right through his heart killing him instantly.
After getting up Cheerilee trotted back to the training ground, to get her friend out of the burning temple. She put Vinyl on her back and ran to the nearest window and jumped out just before the entire temple exploded. Cheerilee landed on the snow and saw that her friend was sliding down the cliff. She ran and began sliding on the snow to get her friend. At the last moment before her friend fell, the purple mare grabbed Vinyl and then Cheerilee plunge her left hoof on the cliff side (That had a row of spikes attached to it.) The Purple mare cried out in pain when she nearly dislocating her left hoof. After a moment she manage to bring her self and Vinyl up, she then place her friend on her back and trotted to the village.

When she got to the village she gave Vinyl to the village doctor. After awhile the doctor came back and said. “I’ll tell her that you saved her life.” Cheerilee grinned learning that her friend will be ok. She then left the village and went back to the south again. With no where else to stay she decided to visit her old home back in Ponyville. She jumped on to a train going to her destination.

When it finally arrived it was night time and most ponies would be asleep. She jumped of and saw that there were patrols out. ‘Of course they would be out. This was my home once.’ The purple mare thought to her self. With her training the patrols didn’t notice her entering her old house.
Cheerilee stood still for a moment looking at everything in her old house. She looks to see that nothing really changed when she got dragged out. ‘Guess nopony didn’t want to live in a house where a foal molester used to lived in.’ She thought to her self then she slowly left the house and noticed that her mail box flag was up. ‘Who would put mail in my box?’ She then went to the mail box and opened it and she found a latter in it, she pulled it out and read it.

Dear Mistress Cheerilee
I’ve heard about what happened to you and I am so sorry for it. I also learned that you escaped, and I don’t now how long it would take you to come back to your town and read this but If you do… You are welcome to stay at Maine Manor.
After finding the note in her mail box Cheerilee stealthy left her home town to Maine Manor. She snuck onto a cargo train to Canterlot. Maine Manor wasn't real in Canterlot but was close to it enough for Cheerilee to get of the train and walk there. When she got to the front gate she saw a com system by the side. She hesitated for a bit incase this was a trap, but she deiced to risk it and spoke into it.
"Hello is anypony there?"
"Ah Mistress Cheerilee I've been waiting for you please come in." An old stallion spoke through the com system. Cheerilee noticed that he called her Mistress for some reason. Then the gates opened and Cheerilee bushed her thought for later and entered the Manor.
When she reached the front door she nocked, and hopefully this time she wouldn't be greeted with a hoof in the face. The door opened by a old unicorn stallion, his coat had a grey color and his mane a whitish grey. "It's good to see you again Mistress Cheerilee." Cheerilee took her a second to recognize the stallion in front of her and shouted in joy.
"Hoofred!" She then jump on him and hugged the old grey stallion. "I haven't seen you since I was eleven."
Hoofred patted Cheerilee on the back and said. "Yes but I hoped I would of see you without you being in a predicament." After hearing that Cheerilee back away a foot with a worried look and asked.
"Do you believe me."
The old stallion smiled and answered. "Mistress Cheerilee I've known you since you were a filly, of course I believe you." Cheerilee smiled but then she saw Hoofred's smiled faded in sadness. "I just can't believe that your own parents didn't."
It was silent for awhile till Hoofred spoke again. "It's freezing out here, lets come inside or will get a cold." After that both Cheerilee and Hoofred entered the Manor and closed the door.
They then went into a living room with a fireplace still burning. Cheerilee sat in one of the cozy chairs. "It feels like I haven't been in a actual chair in ages." Cheerilee said out loud. Then Hoofred was going to the kitchen and ask.
"I'm going to make some tea Mistress, do you want any?"
"Yes please. It feels like I haven't had a decent cup of tea in..." Cheerilee said before being cut of be Hoofred.
"Ages."
Cheerilee giggled and nodded. Hoofred smiled and left to the kitchen leaving Cheerilee deep in thought of the times she had visited this place when she was a filly.

Twenty years ago
During her childhood, Cheerilee's parents had connections with the Maine family and got to visit them once a year. Cheerilee and her mother were visiting Maine Manor and it's two inhabitants Huse Maine, and Hoofred. When the carriage stopped the seven year old Cheerilee jumped out and ran to the front door where Hruse and Hoofred were and said. "Uncle Hruse! Grandpa Hoof!" She ran and hugged them both while they did the same until her mother came.
"Cheerilee for the hundred time they aren't your uncle or grandfather." She said softly to her filly and then looked at Hruse. "Sorry about that."
Hruse smiled and said. "And we told you hundred times that we like her calling us that." Hoofred also smiled when looking at Cinnamon Breeze and Cheerilee.
"I now but I don't want her to get confused when she meets her real uncles and grandparents." Cinnamon said with a smile looking at the cheerful Cheerilee.
"Its quite alright miss Breeze, we understand." Hruse told Cinnamon and then bend over and looked at Cheerilee and ask. "Want to explore Maine gardens."
The purple filly jump up and said "Yeah." Then she ran towards the gardens while Hruse and Hoofred are talking to her mother about something else. When she got to the gardens she immediately went to her favorite place, the flower house. She liked it so much because she can look at all the pretty flowers and when no pony was looking she eats some. When she got their she noticed a tunnel blocked by a wall of vines. With curiosity she went through the vines and into the tunnel where it led to a big cave with a waterfall. She was amazed of seeing the cave till she heard screeching from above and saw bats hanging. She coward because in school students say that bats are scary and they drink your blood. She froze for a second till something fell in front of her. She looked and saw it was a baby bat that lost it grip from the sealing, seeing the little bat on the ground Cheerilee's fear was gone and all she felt was helping the poor thing. She pick it up and said.
"Don't worry, I'll bring you back to your mommy."
After saying that she began to climb the wall to the sealing. It took a couple of seconds before she finally reached the top. She then held out a hoof and the baby bat jumped back on top of the sealing. Cheerilee then climbed down and looked where the baby bat was going, and she saw that it made it back to its mother. After it did the mother flew down and landed on Cheerilee's right hoof looking at her. Cheerilee smiled and said.
"Your welcome mommy bat."
Then the bat took of and began to fly around her, Cheerilee didn't now what it was doing till more bats joined it and then in mere seconds almost all of the bats were circling her. To most foals and some adults this would frighten them but for Cheerilee it looked beautiful like she was seeing into a kaleidoscope. She enjoyed it until she saw her mother and the other two stallions calling her name. They got worried when they couldn't find her in the gardens and saw that a gap between of vines that led into the cave. When they finally found her she was being circled by bats.
"Look mommy aren't they pretty?" Cheerilee said pointing at the bats.
Cinnamon quickley ran grabbing Hoofred's torch and swung it at the bats scaring them off. "Go! Get away from my daughter!" The bats quickly flew away while Hoofred picked up Cheerilee and carried her in the Manor. Cheerilee was confused. 'Why did mommy took me away? Why did the battys flew away from her?' Cheerilee thought to her self then she noticed that Hoofred had put her on a comfy chair near the fire place. She then saw her mother coming up to her and saying. "Baby are you alright?" Her mother had a worried look on her face. "I was so worried about you."
Then Hruse came up and put a hoof on Cinnamon's shoulder and said. "I'm sorry about this Cinnamon. Me and Hoofred should of looked over the gardens before letting her go." Cheerilee's mother nodded and both her and Hoofred left the room. Hruse then went to Cheerilee and asked. "Are you alright. I now you must of been scared but its all over now."
Cheerilee looked at Hruse and said. "I wasn't, I wanted to stay with the battys." Hruse right eyebrow rose saying 'What do you mean? "A baby bat fell on the ground so picked it up climbed the wall and gave it back to it's mommy. Then the mommy and its friends started to circle me. It was pretty like looking into a calidascopa." Cheerilee said while it was hard trying to say kaleidoscope. Hruse smiled patted her on the back and came closer to her when she spoke again. "But then mommy came and the battys flew away. Why did the battys flew away when mommy came?"
Hruse smiled and answered. "Because they were afraid of her. Just like she was afraid of you getting hurt." Cheerilee tilted her head. "You see everything gets scared you now why." Cheerilee shook her head. "Because every has a fear even scary things like bats."
Cheerilee looked at him and said. "I'm not afraid of battys. I like them." Hruse smiled and said.
"Oh I now that, but next time you go somewhere make sure to tell a grown up before you do. Understand?" Cheerilee nodded and was picked up by Hruse and was being carried to the kitchen. "Now want some fresh baked cookies?" The purple filly smiled and said.
"Yay cookies!"

Cheerilee had a tear in her eye remembering of how she loved this place and also how her mother cared about her back then. Then she heard hoof steps and she quickly brushed of the tear and saw Hoofred levitating her a cup of tea. She kindly took it and drank from it. "It tastes wonderful Hoofred." Cheerilee sadi while Hoofred sat on an other chair. Then Cheerilee realized something, for this entire time Hoofred had been calling her 'Mistress'. "Hoofred why have you been calling me Mistress."
Hoofred sat on his chair before speaking. "Because you are the Mistress of this Manor." Cheerilee raised an eyebrow and he continued. "You see after Hruse passed away he gave Maine Enterprises to Dust Feather, the maid that worked here. Do you know remember who she is?" Cheerilee nodded and said.
"Of course I remember her, she would play games with me when we the same age. And yes I did heard about her becoming the CEO of Maine Enterprises."
"Was. She passed away two months ago." Hoofred said shocking Cheerilee nearly dropping her tea. "Before she passed she got her name changed to yours." Cheerilee now was even more confused and asked.
"Why?"
"We both watched the news on your escape and we decided that when you finally come, Dust would secretly hand over Maine Enterprises to you and her name changed to yours it would look like she still owned it." He paused for a moment till he spoke again. "But she died. So she made a secret will to you and made a perfect cover up of her death, that for the passed two months she had been on a world wide vacation." He looked into his tea then back to Cheerilee and smiled. "So that is why I am calling you Mistress Cheerilee."
The purple mare just sat there trying to take everything in. 'I now own a multi billion bit enterprise.' She thought to her self then she asked. "What about when I appear in public when every pony would recognize me." Hoofred smiled and levitated a devise to her left ear and he said.
"Click the red button."
Cheerilee did what he said and when she did her body turned into a white mare with a golden mane. She got up and looked at her self and saw that she looked just like her childhood friend Dust Feather. "Its Maine Enterprises latest devise we made just for you Cheerilee. It will make you look like Dust at all times." Cheerilee then pressed the red button again turning into her back into her old self and then got an idea.
She sat down again thinking about how to get started and then asked. "Does Mr. Fox still have excess to the inventions in Maine Enterprises?" Hoofred raised an eyebrow and asked.
"Yes but why?"
Cheerilee got up and said. "Because I need to prepare for my new career." She got up and opened the front door, but before she left she asked. "Hoofred remember that cave I wondered in when I was just a filly?" Hoofred nodded and got up to follow her where she going.
Cheerilee was out side in the Manor’s garden when she went up to a tunnel that was boarded. With one buck from her fore hoof the wooden planks shattered into pieces, she then entered into the tunnel.
She walked awhile till she ended up in the same cave that she had been in all those years ago. Just like her old house, the cave didn’t change: the waterfall was still there, the stalagmites and stalactites still in their positions. The only thing different was when she looked up there were new bats and they didn’t like her being in their territory. The bats looked like they were going to attack until one flew to Cheerilee and landed on her right hoof. At first Cheerilee didn’t know what the bat was until she realized that it was the one she helped from the ground. She smiled and said.
“It’s good to see you again.”
Then the bat flew and started circling her then the other bats began as well. Cheerilee felt like a filly again looking at all the bats in a circular dance around her. This lasted for about a minute till the bats began to disperse all except one that landed on Cheerilee’s shoulder.
“Well at least you would have company down here, Mistress Cheerilee.” Hoofred said watching the entire scene of the bats. Cheerilee smiled and said.
“I like the company of anything, scary or not.”
“Yes well why would you want this cave anywhys?” Hoofred asked while he was by the exit. Cheerilee looked at Hoofred and answered.
“I need it for my new career.”
“And what would that be?”
Cheerilee was silent for a moment and said. “What happened to me was injustice and I can’t change that.” She then wore a determined face and answered. “But I can make sure that real criminals get their justice.”
Hoofred looked at Cheerilee for a second before saying. “Well then you need all of the support you need.” Hoofred then lifted a smile. “Mr. Fox will have all you need at Maine Tower.”
Cheerilee smiled then began trotting out of the cave and turned on her disguise and said.
“Well let’s get going.”

Later Cheerilee and Hoofred were riding the Canterlot’s rail line to Maine Tower. Hoofred then trotted up to Cheerilee and said.
“You built this rail line for Canterlot for cheap transportation for the ponies of the city.”
Cheerilee knew he was talking about her childhood friend’s accomplishment. “Of course I didn’t want all those ponies to walk all the way to another part of the city.” Then she saw Maine Tower, it was haft the size of the Canterlot castle and it is in the middle of the city.

They soon got to the Tower and went inside, to find everypony starring at them, or more specifically at Cheerilee. She noticed this and asked.
“Why is everypony looking at me?”
Then a light red stallion with a light grey mane and a filing cabinet as a cutie mark came up to her and answered. “Because you haven’t been at Maine Tower for the last two months.” He walked up to Cheerilee and said. “I’m Mr. Fox and I’ll be leading you to where you need to ‘prepare’.”
Cheerilee followed Fox while Hoofred was tending other matters. The two ponies made it to the lowest level of Maine Tower and then went into a giant underground storage area. Cheerilee was in ah of seeing so many items in the lowest floor and then ask.
“What is this place?”
Fox went to the mare’s right and answered. “This is where all prototypes go when they aren’t approved by the director board.” Fox then went to a computer and ask. “What do you need?”
“Do you have any kind of light weight armor of some sorts, and some grappling equipment?” Cheerilee asked. “I need it for rock climbing.”
Fox smiled and answered. “I have exactly what you need. By the way…” He then walked up to Cheerilee and pressed the red button in her ear that turned of her disguise. “I created this so I now when a pony is using one.”
Cheerilee was shocked of what he did and ask. “Do you know who I am?” Cheerilee looked away from him. “Do you believe my side of the story?” Then Fox put his hoof under Cheerilee’s chin and guided her back to his face.
“Before I worked here, I used to been a investigator for the royal guard and what I learned that you can tell what a person is like by looking them in their eyes. And I caught a lot of criminals because they had hate, perverted, evil in their eyes.” Fox then smiled and said. “But when I look in your eyes I see a compassionate, strong, loving mare.” Cheerilee looked in ah of what Fox had said about her. “So yes I believe you. And I also now this is more then a rock climbing.”
After that he led her to a cabinet, and then pulled out a black suited armor. “This is the light weight diamond armor, it can stop knife attacks and it can deflect bullets from 9mm to 12.7mm. Unfortunately the board didn’t think a guard isn’t worth $400.000 bits.”
He then brought out a crate and opened it to reveal number of gadgets. “These little beauties were supposed to been for black op missions. This hoof mounted gauntlet can fire gas pallets; a launcher that can fire any kind of object, and finally it has a grappling mechanism that fired can grab hold of anything and it can recoil bringing you to that structure.”
Cheerilee was amazed of all of the armor and the gadgets but felt something was missing till she remembered what came with Mare Do Well. “Do have anything for gliding?”
Fox smiled and brought her a cloth and a clove. “This may seem as a regular cloth right now but if you put a current through it…” He then placed the clove on the cloth and it immediately hardens. “It can turn into a solid fabric material that you can shape it in any kind of shape, and for your case gliding.”
Cheerilee smile and said. “I’ll take them all. Well if it’s ok with the board.” Fox simply answered.
“Mistress Cheerilee you own the Enterprise so technically all of this is yours anyways.”
Cheerilee sighed in relief that she didn’t have to go through them. Then she saw a vehicle under some sheets, she then pointed a hoof at it and asked.
Fox looked behind him and answered. “The Diamond Canine? Oh you wouldn’t be interested in that.”

A moment later…
In another room Cheerilee was driving the Diamond Canine while Fox was explaining the details.
“They called it the Diamond Canine because just like a Diamond Dog it can go behind enemy lines without being noticed by it’s built in transportation gem inside. And after its surprise attack it would use its rocket boost to jump in the air to teleport back to friendly space. The boost button is right there to actv…” Before he could finish Cheerilee pressed the button that then activated the boost for a few seconds till Fox turned it off and then the Diamond Dog returned to normal speed. “But there were many defaults with the thing, the transportation gem can only work if the vehicle is in the air, and the gem had to recharge for four hours after its first use. But besides that it’s a wonderful machine.” Then the Diamond Canine stopped and Cheerilee got out and said.
“Does it have any defense?”
Fox then pushed a button in the vehicle and two turrets popped out of the front, then he handed her a three inch thick manual. “It has turrets that can shoot any small objects; it can shoot a RPMG (Rocket Propelled Magical Grenade) out of mid air.” He then pointed a hoof to the manual. “I bet you can read through that manual in a day to know about it.”
Then Cheerilee through the manual in the air and then the turrets shot it to pieces. “More like I shot through it in a few seconds.” Cheerilee joked to Fox that he just smiled in a look of ‘Didn’t see that coming.’

Later at night Cheerilee and Hoofred were now preparing the cave for the equipment and the vehicle she got. Then she saw an elevator at the lower back of the cave. “Hoofred look at this! I think it goes to Maine Manor!”
Hoofred looked and said. “Well at least we don’t need to go through the flower garden anymore. Looks like it’s mostly intact that it only just needs power.”

Later on Cheerilee was now modifying the armor suit by spray painting it black and a dark shade of gray. She then began working on the mask covering the eye lids with two dark lends because she remembered what Fox said. ‘What I learned that you can tell what a person is like by looking them in their eyes.’ She then began sharpening metal boomerangs that were the shape of Mare Do Well with her cape spread like a bat. Then Hoofred came and asked.
“Why her, Mistress Cheerilee?”
Cheerilee kept sharpening one till it was finished and looked at it. “She frightens me, and I want criminals to be frightened by her as well.” She then through it at a plank of wood where it went in an inch into it. She then thought.
‘I'm ready to begin serving justice to all that wish to be criminals and the corrupt.’
In a court room a serial killer named Red Lightning that had killed six stallions and forty seven mares. A light brown stallion with an orange mane and a skull with cross bones for a cutie mark in a black suit were pacing through the court room. “Mr. Lightning here has killed six stallion, and forty seven mares, proving that Lightning is not suitable for Canterlot prison and must be put in Arkhoof Asylum.”
Then a yellow mare with a mint color mane and a balancer as a cutie mark stood up and said. “Doctor Crow, just because Red Lightning had murdered these ponies do you think he should be transferred to an Asylum. And by accounts he hasn’t done anything in Canterlot prison.” Crow just looked at her for a second before walking up to Red.
“Miss Warm Heart, I know more about psychotic ponies enough to say that they are a living time bomb for disaster and Mr. Lightning should be in an Asylum before he goes off.” Crow pointed is right hoof at Red but unknown to anypony in the court room Crow had a hidden devise under his right sleeve and it sprayed an invisible gas that Red breathed in. Red Lightning stood there his eyes looking at everything that was in his field of vision. “Does his lawyer have anything to say about this?”
Red Lightning’s lawyer stood up and was about to speak until Red suddenly smashed a class of water and grabbed the biggest shard then stabbed it into the lawyer’s neck. The mare started to panic trying to pull the shard out but Red kept punching her while crying out in horror. It wasn't till the security guard tackled him that he finally stopped. Everypony in the room were all shocked by his sudden outburst all except Crow that only had his eyes widen. “You see! This is why he should’v gone to Arkhoof Asylum!” He yelled pretended to be shocked while paramedics were attending to the mare’s critical injury.

After the trial Red Lightning’s transfer was agreed by everypony all except for Warm Heart storming her way out of the court him with one of her friends by her side then spoke. “Do you think it was strange that after Crow talked about sudden break downs Red attacked his lawyer?”
Warm’s friend looked her and said. “I don’t know? But I’m just glad she lasted long enough for her to get to stabilize at the hospital.” He then saw Warm walking to Crow and he said. “Warm what are you doing?”
She didn’t answer and just went face to face with Crow and said. “You had something to do with this! Did you?!” Crow simply took off his classes and said.
“What do you mean miss Warm Heart?”
“How did you now he was going to attack her?!” She snarled at him.
“Have you ever heard of a coincidence miss Warm Heart? Now I must go to meet with somepony and I might be late.” He pushed Warm Heart aside and said one last thing. “Goodbye.”
Warm just starred at Crow till he exited the building and said. “He’s hiding something and I’m going to find out.” Her friend looked at her and gave a look of ‘How?’ She smiled to her friend and said. “I need to make a call.”

In Ponyville Twilight was enjoying a cupcake in Sugar Cube Corner till she heard the news about the court incident with Red Lightning.
“Just two hours ago the trial of the curial killer Red Lightning to be transferred to Arkhoof Asylum turned into a brutal incident when Lightning attacked his lawyer by stabbing her in the neck with a shard of class.” Twilight and the other ponies in SCC gasped about what Newsmare said on the television. “Fortunately his lawyer survived from the sudden attack but is her injury is critical in the Canterlot General. This is your local Newsmare with your news.” Then Mr. Cake turned off the TV for his costumers would get worried.
Twilight was shocked because one of her old acquaintance from Celestria’s Gifted Unicorn Academy was there. She was about to call her till her phone rang and saw that it was Warm Heart. She sighed in relief knowing that Warm is ok. She then answered her phone to talk to Warm Heart.
“Warm what happened? Are you hurt?” Twilight questioned Warm Heart.
“Yes Twilight I’m fine but I need to ask you to do something for me.” Warm Heart asked on the phone. “Have you seen the news about the trial?”
“Yeah Red Lightning went crazy and attacked his lawyer.” Twilight answered. “Why you ask?”
“Because in the trial Red was com a moment ago then Crow talked about mental break downs and after that Red went berserk.” She told Twilight in a serious tone. “Do you think it was a coincidence that Red broke down after Crow spoke?”
Twilight then wore a questionable face. “Yeah it does sound strange if you think about it.” Twilight then asked. “Why are you telling me this?”
“I need you to investigate of what exactly happened. Find out what Crow is planning and see if he has any ‘friends’ that are linked to this.” Warm asked. “Can you do that?”
Twilight was silent for a moment before saying
“I’ll gonna go to Canterlot right away.”

Somewhere in a Canterlot hotel, Dr. Crow is meeting with a stallion. The stallions name is Al Copony, the biggest underground crime lord in Canterlot. They began talking about things involving the transferring of criminals from Canterlot prison to Arkhoof Asylum till Crow brought up another topic about Warm Heart.
“When I was at Mr. Lightning’s trial I ear-drop on Warm Heart talking to Twilight Sparkle and they are being suspicious about me.” He then took off his classes. “Can you take care of them?”
“Alright how much are they worth?” Al Copony asked while enjoying a mare’s lap dance.
“That won’t work on them Mr. Copony. There dreamers.” He sat strait up on his chair.
“I see well I also have a way dealing with those types.” He said still looking at the mare’s flank.
“Of course, but I advise you to go after Twilight first.” He then got up preparing to leave. “She’s the one investigating, and I imagine she’s on her way to Canterlot by this very minute.”
He smiled and said. “I’ll do that. Now come on enjoy yourself.” He then grabbed the mare’s flank and pulled it to him, of course the mare didn't like it but she was in no position to argue, unless he makes her go in a position. Crow just looked and said.
“Sorry I’m not that kind of stallion. Oh and also my associate will be coming to Canterlot.” After saying that Al Copony’s eyes widened and pushed the mare away and asked.
“She’s coming here! When will she come?”
“In a couple of weeks at best, so I advise you to finish any operations you have here and leave.” Crow then walked out of the door before saying.
It was night at the Canterlot rail yard where a strange shipment of stuff animals was being smuggled of a train and into a truck.
“Why the hay are we smuggling these darn stuff animals?” One of the smugglers complained. Then a corrupt mare cop came and ripped one of the animal’s head off to reveal a drug substance inside.
“Because we’re really smuggling this into the city, that’s why.”
“And what is that stuff, comaine?” He pointed to the white powder. “Because if it is I better get some share after it.”
The cop dropped the box of animals and said. “Of course not idiot, do you really think Al Copony would trust you for this job.” She then picked up the box again and put it in the trunk. “Besides he doesn’t even know what this stuff is either. He’s doing this as a favor for somepony else and...”
Just before she could finish the light bulbs suddenly broke and then went dark after they were hit by something. The cop went to investigate and saw that the objects that hit the lights and picked one up, it was a metal boomerang shaped as a mare. Then one of the smugglers came and asked.
“Who the hay is that?”
The cop knew she saw this mare before but she can’t put her tong on it. She then remembered who it was and was about to say her name.
“Aaaaaahhhhhh!”
Before she could speak she and the others heard one of the smugglers screamed. They went to look for him but only found his rifle on the ground. They then pulled out their guns and loaded them; three of them split up to find out who was doing this while the other five smugglers plus the cop stayed in on place.
One of the smugglers is a earth pony mare with an assault rifle was checking each cargo train to see if anypony was there. She then heard a noise in the shadows of a small cargo train; she then trotted up to it just to find that nothing was there. She turned around and saw a mare hanging in front of her before the mysterious mare punched her and then grabbed her pulling the mare into the air.
The second smuggler is a unicorn stallion that was holding dual wields pistols with his magic. He went to two containers and checks one but before he could turn around a hoof grabbed his mouth and dragged him into the other. He didn’t even manage to scream.
The last smuggler is a Pegasus mare holding a submachine gun with her right wing. She was trotting through a long way of containers. She knew she was the only pony left so she was so frighten that every time she heard a noise she jump and began shooting at the direction of the noise without a second thought. Then a hook with a rope clung to her coat without cutting her and then it recoiled dragging the mare while she kept shooting her submachine gun till it was empty.
The cop and what’s left of the smugglers were now afraid of their situation before the mare cop finally ordered.
“Buck this! Get in the trunk before whoev-.”
Before she could finish a gas pallet detonated in the middle of the group. They were blinded by smoke till they saw a mare wearing black and dark grey clothing with a big hat and a cape. The cop knew who it was, her cousin Carrot Top told her about the mare that came to Ponyville a few months back. All she could say was.
“Mare Do Well…”
Then all of a sudden she pulled out her hoof and it fired six marerangs at the smuggler’s weapons, nocking them out of their reach. She then bucked a stallion’s face, nocking him out cold. The others soon tried to fight the mare till they were getting nock out one by one. One mare tried to sneak up behind Mare Do Well to hit her with a pipe till Mare Do Well caught the pipe before hit her and pulled the mare in and gave her a good buck. She then through the pipe at the last stallion in the face, that was about to tackle her.
She got all of the smugglers and then saw the cop trying to escape in her car till Mare Do Well went through the left window and out of the right with the mare cop pinned to the ground. She then noticed a royal guard’s police car driving up to investigate of what was happening. ‘With all of the commotion somepony would have come.’ Mare Do Well thought to her self till she then grappled the corrupted cop to a light post hanging the cop upside down.
The royal guard member came and saw the seen and then looked at Mare Do Well realizing that she was the one who did this. He pulled out his cuffs for the smugglers and asked.
“Who are you?” Before Mare Do Well grappled away she answered.
Cheerilee was sleeping in her queen size bed dreaming about how she won academy school trophy for the best school teacher ever till she saw a light. The sudden flash of light woke the exhausted mare blinding her for a second till a familiar voice spoke to her.
“Time to wake Mistress Cheerilee.” Hoofred said after he opened the curtains. “Today is the big day.”
Cheerilee just shrugged and said. “Come on Hoofred, I’m nocturnal. Remember?” She then covered her face with her blanket. “Besides do you think it’s kind of early for me going back there?”
“First, Mare Do Well is nocturnal not you Mistress Cheerilee, so you have to have an Enterprise to run.” He then gave her the disguise devise to change into her public body. “Second, it’s never early visiting your hometown.”
Cheerilee put the devise in her ear and turned it on. “Maybe, but do you think it would be a little suspicious that I am donating money to the Ponyville Elementary School?”
“Dust Feathers knew you since you two were fillies.” Hoofred said while opening the door for Cheerilee. “For all they know you are there just to donate to the school for your years of friendship with their former teacher.”
Cheerilee put up a smiled and left the room with Hoofred. They then went into Cheerilee’s newest car and drove to the Canterlot train station.

In Ponyville, ponies have been preparing for the arrival of a special pony coming to their town. Everypony was excited for the famous visitor, all except for six mares in the tree library that three of them were suspicious about the mare coming to Ponyville.
Inside the library the main six have been talking to each other till a cyan Pegasus spoke up.
“She has to be her.” Rainbow Dash yelled. “She has the same name as her.”
Twilight wore an ignored expression and said. “Rainbow for the last time, do you really think she would come back to Ponyville with the same name?”
“Then why is she coming here to donate to the elementary school?” Applejack questioned Twilight also being suspicious about Cheerilee. “It does sound like her.”
Rarity got up from the couch said. “Applejack is right, why would a multi billion bit mare come to a town, where most rich and royals wouldn’t care about.” Rarity trotted in front of Twilight. “Unless she knew this place.”
“GIRLS!”
Twilight yelled then spoke in a normal tone again. “We won’t know for sure till she gets here so lets just drop it for know.”
Fluttershy trotted up and spoke in a low whisper tone. “Twilight, when are you going to Canterlot and how long will you be here?”
Then Pickiepie popped out of a book shelf and jumped onto Twilight’s back and asked. “How long will you be gone, how long do we have to wait, how long do I have to have a ‘Welcome Back To Ponyville!’ party!” Twilight shook off Pickiepie and answered.
“I’ll be going to Canterlot at the same time as Cheer… Miss Maine leaves.” Twilight along with Spike went to the door and opened it. “And I don’t know how long my investigation will be so till I’m done helping Warm Heart I’ll be in Canterlot for some time. Now let’s get ready.”
Twilight’s friends looked at each other and then nodded. When the group left they went to pick up the CMC to bring them to meet the wealthy visitor.

Cheerilee and Hoofred were now on there way to Ponyville in Cheerilee’s private train. They were about an hour to their destination and till then Cheerilee enjoyed the trip.
The purple mare was amazed about her train. There was a small Cider bar, a hot tub, a flat screen TV, and exc. “This Train is like the Manor except smaller and well… moving.”
Hoofred sat next to her and said. “Well most ponies don’t have private trains.”
Cheerilee smiled and asked. “So do you want to take a tour with me around Ponyville? And can I have another cup of tea?”
Hoofred smiled and levitated a cup of tea to her and said. “Of course I will. But I need to remind you that while touring Ponyville you need to act like you never been there, right.”
Cheerilee rolled her eyes. “Yes Hoofred you told me ten times already.”
The two of them giggled before somepony was nocking on the door and was opened by Hoofred using his magic. The stallion entered the room and said.
“We will be arriving at Ponyville in thirty minutes.”

Back in Ponyville the CMC were at their club house trying to get their cutie marks…again.
“Alright yal, what about Cutie Mark Crusaders Fire Fighters.” Applebloom suggested.
“I doubt that any of the grown ups would let us.” Sweetie Belle said in a bored tone.
The Cutie Mark Crusaders kept thinking of ideas till they heard a nocking on their door and then an orange colored mare came in.
“Hey yal girls, it’s almost time till our visitor comes.” Applejack said with her country ascent. “So you better get going.” The three fillies sighed and got up leaving their clubhouse when Scootaloo asked.
“Do we have to?” Scootaloo wined. “It’s just some pony from Canterlot.”
Sweetie Belle stopped and answered. “She isn’t just some mare; she’s a really rich pony that make things, like your scooter see.” Sweetie Belle pointed her hoof at Scootaloo’s scooter were it read ‘Made by Maine Enterprises.’
“Sweetie Belle is right, plus she’s coming to donate to the school.” Applebloom said.
Scootaloo looked at both of them and said. “Why should we care?” Scootaloo looked to the ground. “It’s not like we go there anymore.”
The three fillies were silent for a moment till Applebloom broke it. “We better get going.” The fillies began walking again to meet with everypony at the train station.
At the train station ponies were waiting while Mayor Mare was preparing for her speech when Cheerilee comes. There were short conversations between the ponies till a minted colored mare jumped out and yelled.
“Look its coming!”
Cheerilee’s private train was seen coming to a stop. When the train came to a complete stop at the station, and then the door to the passenger cart opened that revealed a white earth pony mare with a golden mane stepping out. Then Mayor Mare gave her speech.
“Fillies and gentercolts, I’m proud to introduce Cheerilee Maine, owner of Maine Enterprises.”
Everypony applaud the white mare all except for three mares that are still unsure if she’s Ponyvilles old teacher. Cheerilee then trotted up to the microphone Mayor Mare was speaking into.
“Thank you Mayor Mare and thank you Ponyville for your greetings, it’s good to see such nice ponies in this town.” Cheerilee then looked at the main six and said. “It’s also an honor meeting the Elements of Harmony.”
Twilight then trotted to the microphone while Fluttershy and Pickiepie stood in the crowd with Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Rarity that wore blank faces. Cheerilee kindly moved to the side to let Twilight speak.
“It’s also an honor meeting the owner of Maine Enterprises, especially in a middle class town like this.”
Cheerilee smiled and responded. “I knew this town from my child hood friend that lived here.” Cheerilee looked around. “But I never actually have been here.”
“Who’s your friend? Pickiepie might know her.” Twilight asked.
Cheerilee looked at the crowd for a second before whispering. “It’s a little private, but I’ll tell you and your friends later.” Twilight had a questionable look and was about to ask another question till Cheerilee spoke again. “But first I’ll like to have a tour of the town.”
After a moment the crowd of ponies dispersed and the main six and the CMC were know showing both Cheerilee and Hoofred around Ponyville. Unknown to them Cheerilee remembers everything when she used to lived here. She remembered the Sweet Apple Acres, the Ponyville water tower and many other things but there was something she really wanted to see, the thing she wanted to see the most was her old school house. But like Hoofred said she needs to pretend that she’s new and has to wait.

The group of Ponies then went into Sugar Cube Corner for a bite to eat. There Mr. and Mrs. Cake baked a fresh strawberry pie for Cheerilee… before Pickiepie ate it in one bite. “Pickiepie! That was for Cheerilee.” Mrs. Cake scolded Pickiepie for her sudden hunger. Cheerilee just laughed and soon the rest of the group till Newsmare popped on television for the hourly news. She was talking about a family of pet bunnies that got trapped in a burning house where they were saved by fire fighters.
“Thus the bunnies were saved by the brave stallions and mares of the Ponyville fire department this morning.” After Newsmare finished with the fire bunnies news, Fluttershy let out a big sigh when she learned that the bunnies were safe. “And on other news does Canterlot have a vigilante.”
Everypony in the Sugar Cube Corner turned there heads to see the news on this vigilante. What they saw shocked them because they saw the same mare as before. Then Applejack finally said.
“That’s Mare Do Well, how could she exist.” Applejack then turned her head from the TV to her friends. “We we’re Mare Do Well for a while to teach Rainbow Dash a lesson.”
Rainbow was going to argue about what Applejack said till Newsmare spoke again. “This is the short video of the vigilante known as Mare Do Well attacking armed criminals and a corrupted cop.
Then a video popped up showing a group of ponies smuggling stuffed animals till the lights blew out. Three ponies split up and after ten minutes there was smoke surrounding the group and then Mare Do Well appeared. The video then showed Mare Do Well attacking the criminals and nocking them out and then showed her going through a car window then grabbing the cop before she could escape. Then a police car showed up, when it did Mare Do Well used her grappling devise to get away.
After the video Rarity looked at her friends and asked. “I don’t remember any of you beating up criminals?” “Yeah you, girls only saved ponies from disasters at day time.” Rainbow Dash said. “But this Mare Do Well seemed to beat up criminals at night.”
Newsmare popped on the screen again. “The criminals are now in custardy and the corrupted cop in questioning. Then the chief of police and the captain of the Royal guard had a live meeting to announce about the vigilante this morning.”
Then a video popped up showing the chief of Canterlot police force; Golden Badge, and the Captain of the Royal guard; Shining Armor.
“I don’t care what this ‘Mare Do Well’ did and I don’t care what people think of her.” Golden Badge spoke from a microphone while Shining was standing beside the chief and did not spoke. “I will tell you that I will not allow a vigilante to run around in my city, and that’s why I am placing an arrest order on Mare Do Well.”
Newsmare came up again and said. “If anypony see’s this vigilante, please report her to the authorities. This is your local Newsmare with your news.”
The group of friends was stunned by what News mare said. It was quiet for a moment till Applejack broke it.
“By golly, I never was this shocked since the time when we saw the news about Cheerilee’s escape.”
Rarity got up and said. “Applejack, don’t think this could top the news about Cheerilee.” Rarity paused for a moment till Cheerilee spoke.
“Oh that reminds me can I visit the former school teacher’s house?”
Everypony was all stunned of what the multi billion bit mare just asked for, the news from the TV was like a spec of dust compared of what just happened.
“Why in heavens would you want to go too… that place?” Rarity asked with some degust in her voice.
Cheerilee hesitated for second before answering. “I’ll tell you all when we get there.” The six mares looked at each other and then Twilight answered for them.
“Alright, but we expect an answer when we get there.”

The main six including the CMC were guiding the two visiting ponies to the Cheerilee’s old house. Cheerilee noticed something; the three fillies were behind her looking at her. She knew this because one part of her training was to… sense ponies starring at her.
Cheerilee slowed down a bit to match the fillies pace and asked. “So how is school? Do you still have fun there?”
The three fillies looked at each other then at the six mares before Applebloom answered. “We don’t go to school anymore.”
Cheerilee was beyond shock when hearing Applebloom. The CMC have always loved school and yes they had some difficulties but they would never trade it for the world. She was going to asked why but Sweetie Belle spoke.
“Miss Cold Ruler saw that we weren’t doing so well in school, so she…” Before Sweetie Belle could finish, Scootaloo finished for her.
“So she expelled us. She didn’t even give us a second chance.”
“That’s because she kept giving hard work for us, and she never helped any of us.” Applebloom snarled about the new teacher. “That teacher isn’t at all like Cheerilee.”
Cheerilee now noticed that the three fillies were looking down, so she asked a more comforting question. “What was she like?”
Then the three fillies put up smiles, remembering the happy memories of Cheerilee.
“She was the greatest teacher we could hope for.” Scootaloo said.
“She didn’t give any of us hard work to do. And the times she did.” Applebloom said.
“She always helped us doing our work.” Sweetie Belle said.
Then the smiles on the fillies faces disappeared, then they are spoke the same sentence.
“Until she was taken away.”
Cheerilee was shocked about the CMC after what they said. ‘They miss me?’ Cheerilee questioned in her head, and then she thought about how Ponyville could hire that kind of teacher to replace her. She then stopped for a moment to comfort the three fillies.
“It’s alright my sweet fillies; everything will turn out good in the end.”
The fillies lifted there heads and smiled of what she said, but when Cheerilee turned around the fillies remember something some time ago.

Eight months ago…
Cheerilee was trotting out side watching her students play till she saw the CMC were crying in the playground. She went to investigate to learn what happened. When she got there she saw that Diamond Tiara was insulting them again.
Cheerilee gave Diamond Tiara a look means ‘Go now.’ Diamond Tiara left and then Cheerilee then looked at the CMC with a worried look and asked.
“Girls what happen?”
They looked at each other then Sweetie Belle answered. “Diamond Tiara told us that our families think we’re useless and that they didn’t want us because we don’t have a talent.” Sweetie Belle looked at Cheerilee with a sad look. “Do you think we’re useless?”
Cheerilee smiled and answered. “Of course not, in fact I think you are the most useful fillies I ever know.” Then Cheerilee remembered a funny memory from not to long ago. “Who were the fillies that tried to get me a special somepony on Hearts and Hoofs day?”
The three fillies smiled after hearing Cheerilee’s comforting voice then hugged her and they all said.
“Thank you.”
Cheerilee couldn’t help to hug back and said one more thing.
“It’s alright my sweet fillies; everything will turn out good in the end.”

The three fillies looked at the white mare, she may not look like her but they had a filling of who she really is. ‘It’s Cheerilee!’ The three fillies shouted in their heads. But before they could talk to her, their sisters and sister like figure came and stopped them from approaching any further. The fillies wondered why till Applejack spoke.
“Sorry girls, but we can’t let you go to… her place.”
The CMC sighed because they had no choice but to stay back till the grown up ponies said they could.

After telling the three fillies to stay, the three mares met up with the rest of the group at Cheerilee’s old house. The group entered the house with Cheerilee and Hoofred.
Cheerilee went around the living room and took it all in. ‘This was my home sweet home.’ Cheerilee thought, even though she been here when she left the League of shadows she still can’t get rid of the filling of her old home. After a while Twilight trotted up to her and asked.
“Ok now can you tell us why you wanted to come here?”
Cheerilee looked at the group of mares and used her false answer. Remember I told you that my friend told me about this place and… well… my child hood friend is Cheerilee.”
All six mares were shocked learning that she is friends with the former teacher. It was quiet till Rarity spoke.
“But how in heavens did you two meet if you use to work at Maine Manor.”
Cheerilee was about to answer till Hoofred answered for her. “Along time ago, Cheerilee’s family use to have connections to the Maine family, so she and her mother got to visit Maine Manor once or twice a year.” Hoofred then looked at Cheerilee and continued. “And when the Mistress, when she was still Feather Dust, she played with your Cheerilee back then.”
Cheerilee put up a grin and said. “She is my best friend.” Cheerilee meant it to Feather Dust; she loved the times she and her played together every time they met. The six mares looked at each other before Rainbow asked.
“Don’t you mean ‘was’ your best friend?”
Cheerilee now wore a serious face and answered. “No, she is still my best friend.” The other mares looked at her wearing faces saying ‘why?’ “You see unlike other ponies, me and Hoofred believed that she was innocent for the crime she didn’t commit.”
Rarity stepped forward and asked. “Then why did she paint that… image on Sweetie Belle?” Rarity was almost muzzle to muzzle too the Cheerilee till Fluttershy pushed her back, then Cheerilee answered Rarity’s question with multiple questions.
“How do you know that she did it? How do you now if somepony else did?” Cheerilee rouse her voice talking to Rarity. “I known Cheerilee since both of us we’re fillies, and I know she would never do something like this!”
“Everypony please com down!”
Twilight shouted silencing everypony for a few seconds when Rarity spoke again. “I’m sorry Mistress, I didn’t mean to offend, it just…” Rarity was about to finish till Cheerilee interrupted her.
“It’s alright; I would have reacted the same way and sorry for my out burst as well.”
The two white mares smiled for a bit till Hoofred check the time on his watch. “Oh dear, Mistress Cheerilee the day is ending so we should get to the school house.”

Cheerilee and the rest of the mares left the old home and then trotted to the school house with the CMC.
Cheerilee finally saw it… the place she use to teach. Seeing it nearly made her run towards it and hug it. But she needed to look professional in front of all the ponies around her. She then saw Cold Ruler starring at her with cold eyes. Cheerilee walked up to her and asked.
“May I see the inside of the school?”
The new school mare starred at her for a second before saying. “Sure as long I am getting paid for this darn job. I hate foals.” Cheerilee was shock on what the mare just said and thought. ‘They were right, she isn’t like me.’ When Cheerilee worked here she never cared about the bits she only wanted to teach her students and have fun with them. Cheerilee thought about this till Cold Ruler said. “Well what are you waiting for?”
Cheerilee shook her head and went inside, but what she found in there shocked her more. The school didn’t look at all what it used to be, the toys and art supplies were gone, the fun easy to read books were replaced with long hard books that were not suitable for fillies there ages. She went to the chalk board and saw that the time schedule had also changed, recess been cut short, school was longer. Cheerilee couldn’t believe what she saw and thought. ‘How could Ponyville hire a mare like this as the new teacher?’ Cheerilee wanted to buck the teacher into the next weekend for what she did but she knew it would cause more harm then good. So the white mare walked out and gave the donation check for the school and left to the train station.

At the train station Cheerilee was waving goodbye’s to the ponies of the town till she noticed Twilight getting ready to board another train while her friends and the CMC were waving her goodbyes. She went over and asked.
“Twilight? Where are you going?”
The purple looked at Cheerilee then answered. “Oh I’m going to Canterlot to help Warm Heart in an investigation.” “And we’re here to say goodbyes and good lucks to her.” Applejack said. “Kind of wish we could go with her.”
Cheerilee thought of something then put up a smile and looked at the six mares and the three fillies and asked. “What about all of you come to Canterlot with me?”
Twilight looked at her friends to see that they wanted to go including the CMC. She thought about till her friends and the three fillies all said the same answer at the same time.
