Not knowing where he is or who he was Crimson Sky must adapt to the strange place he lives in, and he will do anything it takes to remember his past..... Even if it means death.
When Crimson Sky wakes up not knowing who or where he is, Crimson must adapt to this strange place and its mysteries. However, when he met several odd ponies his life became easier and happier. But when he hears a strangely familiar voice in his head, everything changes. Will Crimson remember his past? Will he find the owner of this mysterious voice? Or, will he die trying?
I slowly opened my eyes to the sound of the wind roaring past my ears. When I looked down and realized what was happening I screamed, even though I knew it wouldn't help me. It was too late for help, I was falling, it would only be a matter of seconds before I hit the ground. Too late to be saved, too late to say goodbye. I closed my eyes and thought of my parents, my family, my friends. Then all was quiet, it was as if time itself had stopped. I was dead, or at least I thought I was.
This is the story of how I died, and of how I lived. This is the story of how I found myself in this strange world that I have come to love oh so much.
This is the story of my adventures with my dearest friends to discover who I really was. This is the story of my adventures in Equestria.
Chapter 1: Awoken
Darkness, I was being pulled into an endless void of darkness, no sounds, no scenery, just pitch black darkness.
"Am I dead?" I thought to myself as I floated deeper into the black abyss.
"Well I wouldn't put it that way," said an oddly familiar voice, that sent chills running down my spine.
"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU, AND WHAT DO YOU WANT WITH ME!" I yelled.
"You need not know who I am, or what I want. The better question is who you are and where you'll wake," giggled the voice.
"Wha....what do you mean?" I asked "How do I not know who I am, and where else would I wake besides where I landed?"
"Wakey wakey sleepy head, Your time with me is up....... for now," the voice then laughed and faded away.
A sudden pain in my side made my eyes burst open as I gasped for breath. I sat up and shook my head as I examined my surroundings. I was sitting right outside a small cheerful looking town full of ponies going about normal everyday things.
"Where am I?" I thought as I continued to look around
"Um... are you ok?" asked a female voice removing my gaze from the scenery.
"Huh?.... Oh yea I'm fine.... I think, could you tell me where I am?" I asked as I turned around to see a rainbow maned pony.
The mare stared at me for a long while before answering my question.
"You're in Ponyville, speaking of which I've never seen you around before...... what's your name?" she asked.
"My name?" I thought "What is my name..... oh god why can't I remember my name?" I looked around trying to remember my name. "Come on think, think, think, what is my name." I looked down and saw the color of my coat, then looked up towards the sky. "Thats it!" I thought.
"Uhh.....Crimson....Sky," I said trying to sound as truthful as I could.
"Well Crimson Sky welcome to Ponyville name's Rainbow Dash, you'll never find another pony here in Equestria as fast and awesome as me," said Rainbow Dash
"Nice to meet you Rainbow Dash, hey.... you think you can do me a favor and show me around town? I guess you already know that I'm kinda new here and have no idea where places are located," I said.
"Sorry but when I found you I wanted to make sure you were ok so I watched over you, but you were passed out so long that I missed my daily nap. Gotta make up for lost time ya know. But you can head over to Sugarcube Corner and talk to Pinkie Pie, I'm sure she'd love to show you around."
"Um ok........ can you point me in the right direction?" I asked
"Yea sure, just head west from here and you should walk right into it," replied Rainbow Dash
I nodded and turned away to head towards the direction of Sugarcube Corner, when I felt a weird sensation run through my head as something on each side of my body stuck up into the air. Behind me I heard Rainbow gasp in surprise as I turned around to see what it was.
"You........ you have........ you have both a horn and....... wings," muttered a stunned Rainbow Dash.
"Wings?" I asked with a confused look on my face.
I turned my head to look at my back and sure enough I had a pair of wings sticking up into the air as if I was ready for takeoff.
"Strange," I thought "How can I be both a pegasus and a unicorn? It just doesn't make any sense at all"
"Your a.......Alicorn. But.... how? There are only three alicorns in Equestria and those are Princess Celestia, Luna, and Cadence." said Rainbow Dash
"An Ali what now?" I asked confused by what was going on.
"An Alicorn, your a mixture of both a unicorn and a pegasus." she answered.
"Is that supposed to be a bad thing?" I asked suddenly getting a little worried.
"Well.... not exactly.... I guess.... but if you want to know more about alicorns you'd better ask Twilight. I'm not into that kinda egghead stuff, Just keep walking down the road from Sugarcube Corner and you should find a large treehouse... that's where she lives. Now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna go finish my nap before it's too late, I'll just ask twilight for answers of how your an alicorn when I feel like waking up," she said.
"Wow she really must either love her naps or be extremely tired," I thought "Well hopefully we'll meet again another time, waking up in the middle of a field not knowing anything about who I am or what happened in my past, then discovering that I'm an alicorn when I didn't even know what an alicorn was, well..... it isn't exactly what I would call a proper introduction. I guess might as well make my way to this treehouse" I then turned and started walking down the route given to me

A dark shadowy figure sat by the edge of the everfree forest, watching a dark red pony walk away towards the small town of Ponyville.
"Interesting," purred the creature "You have adjusted to having your memories erased rather quicker than I expected. You may prove to be a greater challenge to me than I thought. It matters not though, I will kill you in good time. Absorbing your strength will give me power that even those damn elements of harmony can't destroy. All in good time you will fall and I will rise, I will live and you will die."
The creature laughed as it sunk back deep into the everfree forest.

Crimson walked along a small dirt road that led to a rather large and peaceful looking treehouse.
"Well better get this over with," I thought as I walked up to the treehouse and knocked on the door.
The door opened to reveal a lavender unicorn mare who looked as if she had just been disturbed from something extremely important.
"Hello, I'm assuming that you need my help with something?" asked the mare.
"Hi, my name is Crimson Sky. I'm guessing you're Twilight." I said
"You guessed right, but I have a feeling you didn't come here to get my autograph," giggled Twilight.
"Well.... no I didn't...... you see.... I'm.....well......I'm an alicorn" I said as I spread my wings.
Twilight's jaw dropped when she saw his wings.
"But......how.....that's not possible. The only alicorns left in existence are Princess Celestia, Luna, and Cadence." exclaimed Twilight.
"Who?" I asked giving a confused look to Twilight.
"What do you mean who? Our princesses, the rulers of Equestria, well... except for Cadence she's the princess of the Crystal Empire," replied Twilight
I remained silent while continuing to give Twilight a look of confusion
"Come inside. I have some questions I need to ask you," sighed Twilight.
I silently walked in and was lead to a couch and gestured to sit as Twilight sat in the seat across from me as she pulled out a notebook and a pen.
"Okay let's start from the top do you remember how or when you became an alicorn or were you one since birth?" she asked.
I thought for a moment and tried to remember how I became an alicorn but none of my attempts worked "Why can't I remember anything since this morning?" I thought. Finally I sighed in defeat and looked at Twilight.
"I...I can't remember," I answered.
"Do you remember your parents? Were they alicorns too?" asked Twilight.
I tried to think back again but it was no use I couldn't remember anything about my past.
"I can't remember Twilight. I can't remember anything before this morning. All I remember is my name," I replied.
Twilight sighed as she got up and put away her notebook.
"Well Crimson it's either you have some sort of amnesia or somepony used a memory deletion spell on you. As of why they would do so I'm not sure. We can travel to Canterlot tomorrow, the princess might know what to do,"
"Sounds good to me, also... are there any hotels or places where I could stay around Ponyville?" I asked.
"Well..... no. But I have a spare guest room here in the library if you'd like to stay here until you find a place to settle," Twilight said.
"That would be great. Thanks Twilight." I said.
"Uh......Crimson," Twilight said. "I just realized you don't have a cutie mark."
"Whats a....... Cutie Mark? I asked.
Twilight gave me a confused look before answering.
"A cutie mark is something a pony earns when they find they're very special talent. Mine for example is magic. Normally ponies find their special talent when they're fillies but...... not you."
I turned my head to look where my cutie mark would be and she was right, my flank was blank.
"Well I know one thing..... eventually I'm gonna be called a Blank Flank" I giggled as they both shared a laugh.
"Don't worry you'll be joining the CMC the first time those three fillies see you," laughed Twilight.
"Who's the CMC?" I asked wondering what or who she was talking about.
"CMC stands for the Cutie Mark Crusaders. So far the only members are Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, and Apple Bloom. Everyday they go out and try everything to see if they can get their cutie mark."
Just then there were several loud knocks on the door, causing them both to almost jump out of their skin.
"Ummm...... I'll be right back," said Twilight.
I watched as she walked over and opened the door to reveal an over excited pink mare with a giant smile on her face.
"Oh hi Pinkie wha- GAH!" screamed Twilight as the pink pony jumped over her and went straight to me.
"Hi I'm Pinkie Pie and your new here in town, It's my job to become friends with everypony and I mean EVERYPONY in Ponyville. We gotta hurry up and get your welcome party started so you can meet everypony here and ponyville. But I need to know your name tell me, tell me huh huh huh?" said an excited Pinkie Pie
"Uhhh......my name is Crimson Sky" I still said trying to process all of what she just said due to how fast she was talking.
"Where are you from? Manehatten? Los Pegasus? Baltimare? FillyDelphia? Dodge City?
"I uhhh...." I mumbled as she continued asking questions.
"When's your birthday? How old are you? What are your favorite hobbys?" continued Pinkie.
"Pinkie," said Twilight trying to get the mare's attention.
"What's your favorite food? Have you ever been to the Grand Galloping Gala?"
"Pinkie!" said Twilight again failing to get the mare's attention.
"Do you like books? Have you ever been in the everfree forest?"
"PINKIE!!" yelled Twilight finally getting pinkie to stop asking random questions.
"Yes Twilight?" Pinkie asked as she turned around to face her friend.
"Crimson can't remember much of his past before this morning. So a lot of the questions your asking him can't be answered," said Twilight.
"OHHH does he have some type of amnesia?" Pinkie asked
"We don't know Pinkie we're traveling to canterlot tomorrow morning to see if the princess can help," replied Twilight.
"Twilight?" asked a voice from the upstairs portion of the treehouse library.
The three of them looked up to see a small purple dragon walking down the stairs.
"I heard you talking to someone and was wondering what was going on, oh hey Pinkie," said the dragon
"Ah there's my number one assistant, Spike this is Crimson Sky. He's going to be our guest for a while until he gets a place of his own," said Twilight
The dragon's eyes fell on me, as he started walking towards my direction.
"Sup Crimson my name's Spike," said the dragon.
"It's good to meet you Spike," I said as we hoofbumped.
"OH golley it's mid afternoon already. I gotta prepare your welcome party!" said pinkie as she ran out the door.
"umm..... well I guess I'm gonna go have a nap before this welcome party starts I have a feeling I'm gonna need the energy," I laughed
"Okay, the guest room is the first door on the left upstairs," said Twilight.
"Thanks, Twi" I replied as I walked upstairs towards the guest room
As I walked closer to the guest room I could feel myself becoming weaker, the closer I moved to the bed the more tired I got. I climbed onto the bed and laid down, as I felt the rest of my energy fade away as I slowly blacked out.

I woke up on the chair in my office, it was around midday and my buddy Stephan should be coming around any second for lunch break. Looking around my desk I found a letter, on the front it said "To Rick". I opened the envelope and read what the note said inside.
"Rick, I was wondering if you were going to bronycon with me and the crew. We're leaving on monday so contact us about this as soon as you can. On the other note how's the wife? I heard you guys are having a baby, Congratulations on that. Make sure you keep me updated on it ok, I'm your friend and I think I should be allowed to know about this kinda stuff. See ya at lunch.

That's when I heard it. The voice in my head, always telling me to follow his command. But this time I wasn't in control.
"Hello again Rick. I see you found your friends little note, but no need to worry. I already took care of him last night," said the voice.
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM!" I yelled worried about what is about to come next.
"Let's just say.... I did this to him" the voice said with a giggle afterwards.
Just then my chair started to move towards the window, ropes came from all sides and tied me to the chair so I was unable to move. Soon the glass shattered and the chair stopped only an inch away from the edge.
"I have plans for you Rick, now why don't you just forget everything," said the voice.
I slowly felt all of my lifelong memories slipping away. It felt as if I never existed, as if my whole life was just one big lie. Everything was taken away from me, even my name.
"Now step one is easy," said the voice. "All you have to do is DIE."
The chair jolted forward falling over the edge towards the ground far below.
"Goodbye Rick, I'll see you in the other world," the voice said laughing as I slowly fell to my death.
I screamed and jolted forward, the voice's laughter still ringing through my ears. Panting I got up and walked towards the door.
"Was that only a dream?" I thought "But it felt so...... real, and that voice. Why is it haunting me? Am I going crazy, no no I can't be I.... I'm not it's all too real to be just one huge lie made up in my head." I sighed as I continued to walk downstairs "Whoever this voice belongs to, I have to find him. I need to know who I really am or who I was.
"SURPRISE" yelled a crowd of ponies nearly causing me to have a heart attack.
"How could I have forgotten about the welcoming party? Ugh I can be so stupid sometimes." I thought "Well before I go around meeting everypony I need to find Twilight. If anypony's going to know anything about this it's her, assuming that she's read all these books."
I looked around the balloon and confetti covered living room hoping to find Twilight somewhere amongst the crowd, but instead found my attention falling on a pony in the far back corner of the living room. We both locked eyes sending shivers down my spine. Soon after seeing me he turned and walked into another room.
"Why do I feel like I know that guy from somewhere?" I thought. "I should probably follow him.... I mean.... what's the worst that can happen?"
I walked towards the door that the other pony went through. I became curious and terrified the closer I got to him. I walked through the door and found him in the darkest corner of the room. When I saw him he gestured me to come closer and being the usual idiot I am I did.
"You don't remember me do you?" asked the pony.
"I don't remember much of anything... sorry," I replied
"Then it's true," the pony sighed.
"What's true? Who are you anyways?" I asked making my tone sound more aggressive.
"I'm not your enemy Crimson. If anything I'm a friend. My name is ADHD, you and me.... we used to spend a lot of time together. We were best friends before he got into our heads" the pony said.
"WHO? Before who got into our heads?" I asked hungry for answers.
"I'm sorry I can't tell you much. But I can tell you this, there is a reason you're an alicorn Crimson. Harmony made you an alicorn so that if all else fails you would be here to protect Equestria. The voice that you hear in your head. It's here in Equestria, and if he hasn't already then it wont take him long to find you. Listen to me no matter what you don't let him get to you. If he gets the chance he will absorb your power and after that nothing will be able to stop him. One last thing you need to know... even though you are an alicorn you are not immortal like the princesses. I... I must go now I've already said too much," explained ADHD.
"Wait!" I called after him "Can you at least tell me his name?"
ADHD smiled. "Let's just say he's a little.... Chaotic" he said.
I watched him as he walked out the door into the cold of the night outside, and vanished in the darkness. "If what he said is true and I'm really not crazy, I really need to talk to somepony. I'm sure at least one pony will know a few answers," I turned around and found myself face to face with Pinkie Pie.
"HI" greeted Pinkie as I nearly jumped out of my skin.
"Pinkie........ please........ don't......... do.......... that......... again," I gasped in between breaths
"Do you like your welcome party huh? huh? I threw it just for you, you see when I saw you I knew that I didn't know you and if I didn't know you then it meant that you were new here, and if you were new here that meant that you didn't have any friends and knowing you didn't have any friends made me super duper sad. So I threw you this welcome party and invited everypony in Ponyville you see? So now you have lots and lots of friends," explained Pinkie with a giant mile on her face.
I shook my head and returned the smile. "Thanks Pinkie I...I love it!"
"Come on I'm wanna introduce you to my friends!" shouted Pinkie as she grabbed my hoof and dragged me along.
"I thought you said you were friends with everypony in Ponyville," I replied.
"Well duh of course I am silly, but these are my BEST friends."
When we stopped we were standing in front of a group of five ponies. Two of which I already knew, Rainbow Dash, and Twilight. The other three I have yet to meet, one was orange, with a blond mane, green eyes, and three apples as her cutie mark. The second pony was yellow, with a pink mane, bright blue eyes, and three butterflies as her cutie mark. The last pony was white, with a purple mane, blue eyes, and three diamonds as her cutie mark. When they saw me approach they each walked up to greet me. The orange pony was the first to introduce herself.
"Howdy partner, name's Applejack I live down at the farm in sweet apple acres home of the best apple products that you'll ever put in your mouth. Ah sure am glad that Ah could meet you Ah've heard a lot about you from Twilight here," said Applejack.
The next to approach me was the white mare. I looked over and saw spike staring at her weird. I giggled a bit due to the obvious fact that he had a crush on her then turned my attention back to the mare.
"Pleased to meet you Crimson, my name is Rarity. I'm a fashionista over at carousel boutique...... um.... before I shake your hoof could you please wipe it off... I HATE getting my coat dirty and that includes my wonderful mane and hooves," said Rarity.
"Uh.... yea sure" I replied
I reached over and grabbed a napkin from the nearest table and wiped my hooves. We then shook hooves and she went and stood beside Applejack. The last pony to introduce herself was the yellow one who had half of her face hidden behind her mane.
"Hello," I said receiving no answer as the mare just stared at me through her mane. "I'm Crimson Sky...... what's your name?".
"Uh..... I'm Fluttershy" said the mare backing up a bit.
"Sorry I didn't quite catch that," I said taking half a step forward.
"I'm Fluttershy," squeaked the mare now only a quarter of her face showing.
"Uhhhhh...... okaaay," I said as I looked at the others with a confused expression on my face.
"Her name is Fluttershy, don't worry she'll get used to you once we start hanging out more," said Twilight.
"Ah well it's great to meet you Fluttershy," I said with a kind smile.
I looked around at all the ponies attending the party. "Geez Pinkie wasn't joking when she said that she invited everypony in Ponyville," I thought. I noticed a gray pegasus mare with blond hair and inverted eyes standing out away from the crowd.
"Who's that?" I asked Pinkie while looking in the mare's direction.
"Oh that grey pegasus over there? That's Derpy Hooves, not sure why but she avoids most ponies around her," Pinkie replied.
"I think I should go talk to her.... she doesn't look very happy" I told Pinkie.
I slowly made my way through the crowd of dancing ponies and over to Derpy. I made sure that I had a large kind smile on my face before I approached her.
"Hey Derpy" I said hoping to make the mare happier but only receiving a dim reply.
"Oh... you must be the new pony in town. Don't waste your time over here with me... I'm just a useless mail pony.
"Why do you say that about yourself? Every time I look over at you you're always avoiding everypony. Why not try to make some friends?" I asked.
"Nopony want's to be friends with a pony like me," said Derpy as she folded back her ears and looked down.
"No Derpy.... I won't let you or anypony else live like this. Nopony should live a life without friends, abandoned, left in the darkness" I thought as I reached out my hoof.
"I'll be your friend Derpy. All you have to do is accept my friendship, and I will always be there when you need me most"
The grey pegasus looked up at my hoof teary eyed and smiled as she extended her own hoof and grabbed mine. I returned the smile and helped her onto her hooves.
"Y.....You really mean it?" asked Derpy, who was now trying to fight back tears
"Of course I mean it. I won't allow you to sit in the darkness all your life, follow me. I know a few ponies you might like to meet," I said as I wiped a tear off her cheek.

The sun was starting to set as a strange creature paced about the Everfree forest. Shadows dancing along the ground like snakes, as the wind rustled through the trees.
"You better have a good reason for calling me here Discord," said a female voice from within the shadows.
The draconequus smiled when he saw the creature emerge from the shadows of a large cave. "This should be a rather difficult but fun task to complete" Discord thought as he continued to watch the changeling who was waiting impatiently for a reply.
"Oh Chrysalis do you really think I wouldn't have a good reason to call you here tonight hmm?" asked Discord.
"HA. Knowing you it would be an incredibly stupid reason, last time it was only to help you with a stupid little prank" replied Chrysalis Queen of the changelings.
"Be careful my friend, I've changed and I'm more powerful than you could ever dream of" . Discord gave the changeling queen a stern look. "I need your help with something, and it includes your entire army. Are you in or are you out?"
"Depends, what's in it for me and my changelings?"
Discord gave Chrysalis an evil playful grin. "In return you get the one thing you've always dreamed of. Chrysalis in return you get Equestria!"
Chrysalis smiled. "You have yourself a deal, but hear me Discord if you fail to get me Equestria I will tear your limbs from your body and make sure you feel nothing but pain while you beg for mercy"
Discord rolled his eyes and turned away from the changeling. "At least I have her on my side. I was expecting her to reject and mock me longer, not that I'm complaining. he thought as he stared into the sunset. Once I gather my army hell will rain upon Equestria, and Celestia won't expect a thing.
"Gather your changelings. We're going pay a little visit to our friends in the Crystal Empire" said Discord with an evil laugh.

I let out a long sigh as I walked over towards the balcony. The party had lasted at least five hours, everypony was finally leaving, making the library return to it's quiet state. Twilight and the others were heading to rarity's boutique for a slumber party, while me, and Derpy had stayed behind to keep Spike company. I sat down and stared into the sunset letting the cool breeze rush through my mane. "I've seen the name ADHD somewhere....but where?" I thought then just shrugged it off. I tried focusing my mind to think about something else, I tried to think about something happy. I looked over towards Derpy and smiled.
"Why don't you just go talk to her?" asked a voice from beside me.
"I don't know Spike, I.... I just can't. Just Not yet, for all I know sh-"
"You're afraid she won't feel the same way?" asked Spike
I sat there for a minute and sighed. "Yeah" I replied.
Spike sat down next to me and looked towards the boutique with a half smile on his face.
"Yeah. I know how you feel man, I've been going through the same thing for a while now" he said
"Spike. There's been something on my mind for a while now and I..... I just need somepony to talk to about it..... can I uh....trust you to keep a secret for a while?" I asked as I looked over at Spike.
"Sure, you can trust me with anything..... except for gems.... I'll end up eating those at the start" Spike laughed and I smiled.
I sighed and told Spike everything from the first moment I woke up in Ponyville to the moment I talked to ADHD, making sure I didn't miss a single detail on anything. The nightmares, how my name wasn't my real one, absolutely everything.
"Are you sure this isn't all just amnesia and a few nightmares? I mean... if there really is somepony out there after you, then we'll have to talk to the Princess. She should be able to help us find the guy" said Spike as he thought through everything I just said.
"I hope so Spike..... hey, do we have any books on the topic of Chaos?" I asked thinking back to the last thing ADHD said before his departure.
Spike thought for a moment. "Uhh..... yea I think we do actually... just give me a moment and I'll have it for you" he said as he got up and started scanning the section labeled "C". "Aha! Here ya go Crimson"
I was handed a book that was titled "Chaos at it's Greatest: Days before the Princesses". The book had a picture of a creature who's body parts composed of different animals.
"Uhh.... Spike.... who is this?" I asked pointing at the cover picture.
"That's Discord, he's a draconequus and known to everypony as the Master of Chaos," Spike said with a smug look on his face.
I walked over and sat on the couch, opened the book and started to read:
"The land of Equestria wasn't always how it looks today. Over one thousand years ago it was ruled by a draconequus named Discord. Discord made all of Equestria a miserable and chaotic place full of harmful pranks, he made other ponies the opposite of themselves by manipulating their mind to flip to the dark side using black magic, after a while many ponies were killed by his madness. But then two sisters rebelled against Discord to take back Equestria. When they could not defeat him alone they used the Elements of Harmony and turned him to stone. Ever since that day Equestria has been a quiet peaceful place for ponies to make friends and live their lives. Discord's statue is still in the garden of the Canterlot castle to this day forth"
"Well that wasn't exactly what I expected. I was hoping for something a little more in depth" I said with a disappointed look on my face.
"What wasn't what you expected?" asked a female voice from beside me.
I turned my head and saw Derpy looking at me with a rather confused and curious face. I couldn't tell her, I couldn't tell anypony yet, I shouldn't have even told Spike but I had to so I could get it off my mind. I closed the book and looked back to Derpy.
"Oh. It's nothing just a... uh.... an old book that I was uh reading.... yep just a book nothing important" I said with a halfhearted smile on my face.
"Um okay..... I guess...... well Spike started cooking dinner. Maybe we can have some muffins for dessert. Mmmmmm Muffinsss hehehe"
"Uh.... we must have a hardcore muffin fan here. Well muffin do sound good, a muffin dessert it is then. I thought as I got up and walked towards the kitchen. I found spike over by the stove standing on a little wooden stool that allows him to reach the pot.
"Hey Spike, you wouldn't mind making muffins for dessert tonight would you?" I asked while I continued to walk towards him.
"Hehe trying to make a mare happy I see" giggled Spike as he continued to cook.
"WHAT NO....I....I just......I uh.....I just wanted to-" I was interrupted when Spike fell over laughing at my reaction. ".... Oh hahaha that was so funny. Will you make the muffins or not?" I said now annoyed from being tricked.
"Yea sure I'll make them. Then I'll leave you two in peace together haha" laughed Spike.
"SPIKE" I yelled causing the dragon to step back a few steps in defense.
"Okay okay, yes I'll make the muffins geez" said Spike as he giggled at his victory.
I walked back into the living room and slowly started to grow dizzy. "Wha.... What's happening" I thought as I tried to keep my balance. The world was spinning faster and faster, I closed my eyes praying for it to stop. I fell to the floor and found myself in a black void of darkness.
"Hey Rick, it's been a while man. How's life been going for you?" said a voice in the darkness.
"W....Who are you? What is happening?" I asked staring into the black void.
"All has been good on my side. How about you? How's your wife?" asked a voice that I recognized to be my own.
"We all just got back from California the trip was amazing but-" said the voice as it faded away.
"Merry Christmas Rick" said a new voice. "Sorry I missed your birthday. How old are you now? Five?"
"Haha no I'm 21 Stephan. I'm glad you could make it to dinner with us" my voice replied.
"Seriously? Why would I miss out on this. I mean really, look at all this delicious looking food" laughed the voice named Stephan.
The voices started to fade again and a voice that I recognized ran through my head.
"Crimson there is a reason you are an alicorn. Harmony made you one so you could protect Equestria when all else fails. There is something after you, and he's here in Equestria" said the voice.
"ADHD? What....Where are you?" I said into the darkness.
"Wait! Can you at least tell me his name?" my voice said.
"Let's just say..... he's a little Chaotic" replied ADHD
"Discord made Equestria a place full of chaos and agony. Many ponies were killed by his magic or corrupted and turned opposite of themselves as he absorbed power from their bodies" said the voice of Spike.
"Sp.....Spike? What's happening? Where are you guys? Where am I?" I asked
"Crimson wake up. This can't go on for any longer, you need to wake up now" echoed a female voice through my head.
"Who....... Who are you? Where am I?" I asked the voice.
"Just wake up Crimson. You need to wake up"
The voice faded away, I felt the world around me spin faster and faster. I gasped and sat up, I was back in the library, back to safety.
My name is Crimson Sky, I'm an alicorn meaning that I am half unicorn and half pegasus. I woke up on the edge of a town called Ponyville. I made many friends here and hope to make many more. I can't remember my past, I couldn't even remember my name. A unicorn mare named Twilight Sparkle allowed me to stay in her library until I could settle in. During my welcoming party I helped a mare named Derpy out of the shadows. There is something out there after me, and I'm waiting. Waiting for it to attack again, learning all that I can to protect those that I love. My name is Crimson Sky, and I am finally starting to remember.
A sudden burst of light caused me to wake from my slumbers. I groaned and rolled over to face a nearby window. The sun was just beginning to rise causing pink and purple streaks to cut across the horizon. I could hear birds singing their usual morning tune, I groaned for a second time before stretching while letting out a big yawn, and climbing out of bed. I was still exhausted from last nights party, but at least everypony had a good time. I couldn't help but think about the sudden series of events that had occurred during, and after the party. I was supposed to tell twilight but I got too caught up in things, and ended up forgetting to do so.
"Twilight said she would be staying at the Carousel Boutique with her friends last night. Perhaps me, Spike, and Derpy can head over there after everypony wakes up. Also if I remember correctly we are going up to Canterlot to see the princess later today" I thought as I walked out my room.
When I walked into the hallway I was automatically greeted by the smell of a wonderful breakfast in the process of cooking. In the kitchen I found Spike on his little stool hovering over the oven. Derpy was sitting at the table with a basket of blueberry muffins in front of her.
"Well, Well look who finally woke up. You really gave us a scare last night when you passed out. Then you staggered up to your room live a zombie" said Spike.
"Really? I thought you guys may have carried me up or something. I don't think it is normal for me to sleepwalk like a zombie" I replied.
"Nope. I guess you were half awake when you walked up. Your eyes were closed and all, but you were mumbling stuff" said Derpy as she nibbled on a muffin.
"Oh well, at least I got to my bed right? Anywho I was planning to head down to the Carousel Boutique later. You guys want to come along with me?" I asked.
"Well I finished everything Twi wanted me to do, so why not" replied Spike.
"I don't really have much to do today so sure I will tag along with you guys" said Derpy.
At that exact moment I felt a cold sensation flow through my body. I tried to move but it was like I was melted to the floor. Time itself was standing still, the scenery around me flew towards a tree on top of a hill. I felt like something was wrong about that hill, very wrong. As I got closer to the hill I could see a stallion laying under a blanket of leaves. In front of him was a rifle set up on a bipod aiming at the kitchen window of the library.
"What's going on? Who is this guy? Who is he aiming at?" I thought as a million other questions zoomed around in my mind.
As fast as I arrived on the hill, I was back in the library. I shook my head and walked over towards the window. Directly across from me was the hill that the stallion was on. He was lying under a blanket of leaves, the leaves acting as camouflage. His rifle set up in front of him, aiming at the library kitchen window. Aiming directly at me. My eyes widened as I realized what was about to happen, I turned around to face the others.
"GET DOWN!!!!" I yelled as I dove to the floor.
Spike and Derpy looked at me in confusion, but not for long. Soon after my body made contact with the floor a thunder like sound shattered the air around us. The kitchen window shattered, and the air exploded into a series of gunfire. Spike dove to the floor as Derpy crawled under the table.
"What's happening?" Derpy shouted across the room.
"Well let's see, we're being shot at by who knows how many ponies, Twilight and the others are probably in trouble, and I almost got my head shot off" I replied.
"We need to get out of here" Spike yelled across to me.
"No, really? I'm just gonna sit here while a bunch of crazy ponies shoot at us" I said in a sarcastic tone.
Spike rolled his eyes and looked around the kitchen. The small dragon's face lit up as bright as the sun when an idea popped into his head.
"Guys flip the table, we can use it to make our way to the living room. If we are lucky nopony will be watching the door" said Spike.
"Good idea Spike" replied Derpy.
I crawled my way over to the table and helped Derpy flip it over. When we were done Spike ran behind the table and the three up us began pulling the table towards the front door. As we entered the living room the window shattered and a green ball-like figure bounced in. My eyes widened as I saw the grenade roll closer and closer to our location. Without thinking I grabbed Spike and Derpy, spread my wings, and flew as fast as I could out the front door towards Ponyville. The attackers continued to shoot at us but were unable to keep up.
"Where are we going?" asked Spike and Derpy at the same time.
"To the Carousel Boutique. We need to get the others out of Ponyville" I replied.
"And I need to tell them about the recent events that have been taking place" I thought as I flew through the town.
Ponyville was no longer the happy place where ponies could meet new friends and have a good time. Most of the buildings around us were burning or crippled. There were no survivors in view, the least we could do was to pray that they escaped Ponyville and were a safe distance from the attackers.
Lucky for us the Boutique was still in tact. I placed Spike and Derpy down gently and flew over to knock on the door. When I knocked the door it creaked open. I turned to look back at Spike and Derpy who had a frightened look on their faces, shrugged and flew in. The lights were out inside but I could make out the shape of a pony in the far corner of the room. The lights blazed on, temporarily blinding me. I landed causing a sudden pain to shoot through my left back leg. Unable to bear the pain I fell over, I could barely make out voices around me.
"Crimson?" I heard somepony ask.
"Rainbow look what ya gone and done. Ya'll should think before almost blinding somepony" I heard another voice say.
"Girls he's been shot!" said a third voice. "He's losing too much blood, we need to get him help. Come on"
I felt myself being picked up and carried away. I tried to move, but quickly became light headed. I was just able to turn and see Twilight and the others carrying me away.
"W-what's h-happening" I asked in a weak voice.
"Don't talk, you're losing too much blood. If you keep putting strain on yourself it will only speed up the process" replied Twilight.
"Ya gone and got shot sugarcube. Yer lucky it was only a leg" asked Applejack.
"Yea w-well at least I d-didn't get killed" I replied "W-where's S-spike and D-derpy?"
"Right here" said Derpy with a smile "You're gonna be okay. You got that?"
"W-well I s-sure hope so. Otherwise w-who is gonna keep y-you guys s-safe?"
Everypony laughed at that. I saw Fluttershy walk up to me with a small smile on her face.
"We're taking you to Canterlot" she said "The princesses will make sure you get better"
"That's nice to hear. Thanks Fluttershy" I said with a weak smile "G-guys there i-is something I need t-to tell"
Before I could finish I began to feel dizzy, the world spun around me as it all faded to darkness.

Discord felt a burst of excitement run through his body as he arrived at the Crystal Empire. He was becoming annoyed of having to use his pony form, but soon he will be himself again. The train slowly came to a stop and everypony started to leave. Discord stepped off the train and started heading straight towards the castle.
Everything was falling into place now, Chrysalis and her changeling army were waiting on the outskirts of the Crystal Empire. She already sent one hundred changeling into the Empire. Fifty disguised as normal townsfolk, and Fifty disguised as guards within the castle. All of them awaiting the signal to attack. Nopony will ever know what hit them. He came to a stop in front of the Crystal Heart and chuckled. Discord wrapped two hooves around the heart and yanked it out of it's place. The air around the Crystal Empire exploded, a blue streak ripped across the sky and fell to the ground. Changelings flooded the Empire from all directions. Others that were already in undisguised and attacked anypony in sight.
Discord laughed and undisguised himself. His old friend was almost free, there was only one thing left to do. He laughed again at the sight in front of him, and turned to walk into the castle. Guards all around the castle were slain and left to rot. It was a truly wonderful sight to see, Discord wished that the moment could last forever. When he arrived to the throne room Shining Armor and Cadence were tied up and gagged in front of the throne. Discord walked up to them and smiled.
"I'm sure this is a horrible feeling for you. Your Empire is falling all around you and you can do nothing but sit and watch. But this isn't the only thing we came here to do. You locked away a good friend of ours a while back and we want him back. Now we are going to make you watch as your poor Crystal Empire crumbles yet again" said Discord.
"Mmmmmph" Shining tried to speak but the gag prevented him.
"Oh what was that? I couldn't hear you over the sound of your dying empire" Discord laughed.
Discord walked to the center of the throne room, and slammed the crystal heart onto the solid floor causing it to shatter. The air filled with a thunder like sound, pitch black smoke gathered around the heart. Green eyes appeared in the center of the smoke as it began to form into the shape of a pony. Within a minute a grey pony with black hair, green and red eyes, a black tail, and a glowing red horn was standing above the shattered heart.
"Dissscord, I must thank you forrr freeing me yet againnn" said the Pony.
"Oh Sombra, did you really think I would leave you out of a war like this" replied Discord with an evil grin.
Sombra looked over at Shining Armor and Cadence. Who were still tied up and sitting below the throne.
"Why are thessse filthy poniessss sssstill alive? They are the onesss that imprisoned me for the second time" said Sombra with a look of disgust.
Three ponies with guns walked into the throne room and stood by Discord's side.
"What shall I do with them old friend?" asked Discord.
"Kill them, and get their filthy faces out of my sight" Sombra replied.
"Will do, Sombra. Will do" said Discord.
Discord looked at Shining and Cadence, then down to the soldiers next to him.
"Kill them" he said.
The ponies raised their guns and fired at Shining. Cadence screamed as tears began rolling down her face. Then three more gunshots filled the air. They were dead, all that remained of them were two corpses lying in a puddle of blood. Discord chuckled at the sight of the two ponies laying dead in front of him. He turned and walked out of the throne room, Celestia will soon hear of the events that just took place. But it would bee to late for her to do anything for her precious subjects. They had won this battle and started a new one, a battle to claim rule over a land. This battle would be written down in history, the battle where the two glorious princesses had fallen. The Battle For Equestria has begun.
It was a beautiful day down in ponyville. The sun was shining, birds were singing, and all the little fillies were running around having fun and playing with their friends. Two young fillies, one a red alicorn with orange eyes, a bright orange and red mane with a bushy tail, the other a grey unicorn with red eyes, a light green and dark red mane with a curved tail with a sharp end, were running along side each other towards the dark forest known as the Everfree Forest.
"Hurry up AD we're going to be late" said the alicorn with an excited grin on his face.
"I dunno Crimson the Everfree forest isn't a very safe place to go during this time of the year. A lot of the creatures Miss Cheerilee taught us about are going to be lurking about" replied the grey unicorn.
"Ah come on ADHD stop tryin to wimp out on us. Quindem is already at the randevu point. He won't be very happy if it takes us forever to get there. Besides you're the one always tellin us that danger is your middle name, why don't ya prove it" Crimson told the unicorn named ADHD.
"Oh alright but if we get killed, I'm going to kill you" replied AD
"Fair enough, but I'm telling you we are not going to die" stated Crimson with a smirk on his face.
The two fillies sped through Ponyville's marketplace doing their best to avoid any obstacles and ponies in their way. At one point they missed bumping into a small yellow pegasus with a long pink mane by about an inch. The young filly shook her head and looked towards the fillies that had almost ran into her.
"Where were they going in such a hurry" she thought. "Were they running late for something? Were they running from somepony?
A red unicorn was pacing back and fourth on top of a hill on the outlines of the Everfree forest. Crimson and AD should have arrived my now. What was taking them so long? The faint noise of hooves trotting along the ground made his ears perk up. At the bottom of the hill were his two friends Crimson Sky and ADHD running towards him. No doubt they rushed to get here their hooves were covered in mud and they looked as if they were bathing in sweat.
"What took you guys so long? It felt like I was waiting here for hours" complained the red unicorn.
"Sorry Quindem, the marketplace was really crowded today so we had a bit of a hard time getting through" replied Crimson.
"Well you guys are here now so lets get going" said the unicorn known as Quindem.
"Crimson wake up" Crimson heard a mare's voice say in his head.
"W-what?" whispered Crimson as he reached up and rubbed his forehead with his hoof.
"Crimson, you okay dude?" asked ADHD
"What? Oh yea I'm fine I just... I'm fine thanks" said Crimson. "Come on lets uh, lets go"
The three fillies advanced towards the Everfree forest. As they walked deeper and deeper towards the heart of the forest it became darker and colder. It was so quiet that they could hear they're own hearts beating inside their chests. Thudum thudum thudum. Every now and then they would hear the howling of a wolf, the hiss of a cat, and rarely the hoot of an owl. The wind rustled through the trees making the branches creak and moan. Soon it became so cold that when they breathed they could see the air in front of them. In the distance they could hear thunder rip through the air. The silence of the forest was broken when a high pitched scream cut through the sky.
"What the hay was that?" asked ADHD.
"Ahem Correction. Who the hay was that?" replied Crimson.
"What are you a dictionary?" asked ADHD.
"Maybe why does it matter?" answered Crimson with a smirk.
"Guys we don't have time for this. We need to find and help whoever just screamed. For all we know they could be dying" said Quindem.
"Okay well first of all the scream sounded as if it came from just a little deeper in the forest than we are" said Crimson.
Crimson turned and ran towards the sound of the scream, the others right behind him. Another crack of thunder ripped through the sky. A storm was brewing, and they didn't want to be there when it struck. It would be best if they would hurry up and find the screamer and what they were screaming at. The three of them skid to a stop at the edge of a cliff, about five feet below them was the filly that Crimson and ADHD almost bumped into on their way to to the randevu to meet up with Quindem. She was backed up against the bottom of the cliff and surrounded by a pack of wolves. However they were not ordinary wolves. They were timberwolves, Their bodies were mostly made of wooden sticks and branches. They had glowing bright green eyes, leaves for eyebrows, and extremely sharp teeth. While they may seem to be weak because of the material that forms them their attacks can deal an incredible amount of damage to the victim and can withstand most magical attacks.
"Okay we don't have much time before the wolves reach her. Running in with nothing but our hooves would be suicide. Do you guys see anything that we can use as a weapon against them?" asked Quindem.
"Well we do all have something called a horn, it is on our head, it casts magic" Crimson sarcastically replied.
"They aren't effected my most magical attacks dummy" replied an irritated Quindem.
"Oh, uh nevermind then" said Crimson
"Do you even pay attention to what miss Cheerilee says Crimson?" asked ADHD
"Sometimes" replied Crimson.
"Ugh we don't have time for this. Here gather up some rocks we'll throw them at the wolves. I don't believe they will do much damage but we can at least wound them" stated Quindem.
"Uh Quindem. Where did uh, Where did Crimson go?" asked ADHD
"What?" asked Quindem looking around. "Well shoot where did he go?"
"HEY!!! YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST ATTACK A DEFENSELESS FILLY AND GET AWAY WITH IT?" yelled a voice from below.
The timberwolves stopped advancing and looked around confused. All of a sudden a bright green light flew from one of the bushes beside them. It struck and knocked over one of the wolves but didn't damage the creature. Crimson jumped onto another wolf's back and started whacking it in the head with a rock.
"Hey you guys gonna help up there or not?" asked Crimson.
"Using magic not to harm but to distract. Smart move Crim." said ADHD
"Yeah yeah. Can you guys just hurry up and get down and help me?" asked Crimson who was becoming annoyed.
Quindem and ADHD both ran over to the cornered filly. Just then one of the wolves howled and another pack came rushing towards them. Now they were all cornered and Crimson was stuck on the back of one of them. The wolf that Crimson was attacking slowly walked towards a large tree, occasionally snapping it's head trying to dodge the rock. It bagan to shake it's back causing Crimson to lose his balance and fall onto the wolf's side. When the timberwolf saw it's chance it shoved itself and Crimson into the tree causing him to fall off it's side. Dazed from the impact Crimson could barely move, the timberwolf slowly began to advance on him. Drool dripping from it's mouth waiting to learn the taste of it's next meal.
"Is this the end? Is this how we die? Devoured by a damn wolf in the Everfree forest. Nobody will even know what happened to us. But why would it matter? I lost everything the day my parents died. I could join them, I could be happier with them around". thought Crimson. "N-No not like this not here not now. If I won't fight for myself I will, I must fight for my friends, for the filly that these wolves were attacking before we arrived. I won't let them die, not now, not this way".
Crimson's eyes began to glow orange as bright as fire. His body was slowly levitated into the air by an unknown force. His body began giving off heat burning nearby patches of grass. Blood began running out from his ears and dripped from his nuzzle.
"I AM NOT GOING TO ALLOW YOU TO ALLOW YOU TO HURT ANYPONY ELSE HERE!" yelled Crimson
Flames began to form around his hooves sending extreme bursts of pain through his body but he just ignored it and carried on.
"YOU KNOW, THEY SAY YOU ARE IMMUNE TO MAGIC. BUT HOW WOULD YOU FEEL ABOUT FIRE?"
Crimson's horn began to glow, he slowly lifted his front hooves up towards a group of timberwolves. The wolves backed up a foot and whimpered as their body slowly ignited. When they discovered they were burning they retreated into the woods trying to find a way to put it out. The other wolves that were attacking them suffered the same fate. Some denigrated others retreated. When they were all gone Crimson was slowly lowered back to the ground. He landed in a puddle of blood, the blood that came out of his ears and nuzzle while he attacked the wolves. His front hooves were burnt from when they ignited so he could burn the wolves. His vision became blurry from blood loss. Soon after he lost consciousness everything faded to black.
"Crimson Sky you must wake up. Leave this memory, this vision" he heard the voice in his head from earlier say. "Wake up"

My eyes slowly opened. I was lying in a bed, it was still dark outside. There was an open window on the far right wall allowing the cool night air to flood the room. Crickets could be heard singing their nightly tune. The moon lit the room just enough for me to barely make out the room I was currently resting in. The flashback confused me. Most of the time my flashbacks consist of me being some sort of strange creature, but this one I was a filly.
"ADHD was there, but if I was always a pony and not some strange creature then why did he say I was 'Made' an alicorn?" I thought. "Was this even a flashback? Or was it just some dream?"
"It was a flashback Crimson. If you are looking for the answer to that question" said a voice from the shadows.
"WHA- Who's there?" I asked startled by the voice.
"I apologize for my speaking without you knowing I was here" said the voice.
A tall dark blue alicorn mare stepped out of the shadows. She had dark blue eyes, her mane and tail was wavy and looked as if they had stars inside of them. The moonlight shining from the window reflected off of her eyes making them brighter than the rest of her body.
"Princess Luna" I asked staring at her in awe.
"You are indeed correct Crimson" she replied.
"B-but how did you know about the flashbacks, or dreams that I have been having?" I asked out of curiosity.
"Your friend Twilight Sparkle sent me a letter the first night you arrived telling me that you were acting odd and saying unknown things in your sleep. It is my duty to watch over dreams of ponies all over Equestria, and ever since that letter I have watched yours more than any others. I can help you Crimson. I can help you regain your memories and find the one responsible for all this trouble. However first you must decide" said Princess Luna
"Decide what?" I asked.
"For me to be able to help you, you must first decide. Are tou truely Crimson Sky or are you only a puppet to be controlled by something or somepony else? I need you to decide who you really are"
Crimson groaned, his hooves were still sore from the burns he had received during the attack earlier that day. His ears twitched as the sound of distant thunder shot through the sky. He could hear crickets surrounding them in the forest, they were singing their usual tune to the nightly sky above. Another shot of thunder could be heard, still distant but louder than before. Moonlight circled their camp site, combining with the warm crackling fire beside him causing shadows to dance along the ground. A light wind flew through the air causing leaves to whisper to each other in the dark. A slight chill went through his body as the wind blew by, but he was quickly warmed by the fire.
A slight cough caused caused Crimson to jolt his head towards the sound. Sitting alone under a tree was the filly that they had protected from the timberwolves. Crimson slowly stood up, ignoring the pain shooting through his front hooves. Somehow something seemed off about her. As Crimson drew closer to the filly and heard a quiet sniffle, causing him to realize that she was crying.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Crimson asked the filly "I uh, I heard you over here crying and just wanted to see if you were okay"
"Huh? *sniff* Oh yea I'm *sniff* I'm f-fine" replied the filly. "I-it was just a dream, nothing more than a nightmare"
"Oh, well I'm sure it is over now. Usually when you have a nightmare you only have it once, after that night it never comes back" said Crimson.
"R- *sniff* really?" asked the filly.
"Really" said Crimson with a warm smile. "Hey, we never really got to introduce ourselves earlier. I'm Crimson Sky, what's your name?"
"My n-name is Roxanne st-Starlight" she said, she closed her eyes let out a loud sob and cried harder.
"What's wrong? You okay?" Crimson asked, his smile fading from his face.
"This is all my fault, you and your friends almost died because I was so stupid to run into this dumb forest alone. I just wanted to go on an adventure exploring this place" cried Roxanne.
"Hey hey hey stop it, don't talk like that. None of this is your fault okay, it was an accident got that" replied Crimson. "Besides I dunno about my friends but I would gladly have given my life to save a beautiful mare like yourself"
Roxanne blushed, her face growing a bright shade of red as she quickly dropped her gaze to the ground.
"Besides even if I did die I wouldn't have anypony waiting for me at home" Crimson said.
"What? Don't you have parents that care about you?" Roxanne asked looking over at Crimson.
"I-They're, well the police pony told me they were sleeping a-and they can uh they can never wake up again" Crimson said, his eyes slowly filling with tears.
"Oh, oh my gosh I'm so sorry I didn't know" gasped Roxanne.
"It's fine, I'm just surprised that you didn't know. I mean, everypony around here knows they were killed. They all look at at me funny and they always keep their distance like they think I'm going to try and hurt them, it's like they think I'm crazy. The two guys you saw back there, they were the only friends I ever had in school. They were the only ones that didn't treat me like I was a monster" said Crimson.
"Why would anypony treat you like a monster? If they knew what happened why do this to you?" Roxanne asked.
"Because the moment my parents were killed I changed. I never slept I hardly ate anything, I never stopped researching for any creature that might have been the one that killed them. I threw away my foalhood looking for the damn thing. I was hungry Roxanne, I was hungry for revenge. I felt as if a beast had woken up inside of me. I don't blame the others for avoiding me, they were scared and they had every reason to be. None of that matters though, not right now. Nopony believes me, they say that I was just seeing things. That my parents were mugged, can you believe that? Mugged" said Crimson.
Crimson opened his mouth to speak but no words came out. He lowered his gaze and looked into the forest. It had been a long time since he re-lived this memory. Is saddened him, angered him, made him want to huddle into a ball and cry, but he couldn't not here, not now.
"It happened six years ago on January 19th, t-two days before my birthday. We were on a trip to visit my grandparents in Manehatten" Crimson sobbed, tears beginning drip from his eyes. "We decided to do a little sightseeing first since we had never really been to the cities much, so we basically took a tour of the entire city. We looked around shops, museums, theaters, we even looked at a few homes that were for sale. By the time we were finished the sun was beginning to set, the streets were pretty much empty. We started to head to my grandparent's house when *sob* when a tall s-shadow came from the alley. I couldn't make out what it was, it all just happened so fast. All I could do was watch as my parents were beaten like they were some kind of animal. They were torn to shreds, my mom's eyes were clawed out. It ripped off one of my dad's hooves, and tore off his cutie mark. I can still hear their screams of pain ringing trough my ears. I can never forget what happened to them, how they died and how I just stood there and watched my parents being slaughtered. Every single night I dream about what happened that night. No matter how much I want to, I can't scream, I can't call out for help. I can only stand and watch, just as I did the night they died. Roxanne a-am I going crazy?"
"No, no you aren't going crazy. You just saw something horrible" replied Roxanne.
Tears were beginning to fall from Roxanne's eyes as she reached over and hugged Crimson, who was staring at the ground. Tears beginning to build up in his eyes.
Crimson slammed his hoof down onto the ground beside him in extreme frustration. Memories of him and his parents began to flood his mind. His fifth Hearths Warming
"Why did it have to take my parents away? Why couldn't I do anything to help them? Why did I just sit there like a stupid coward? I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry. I should have done something to help you, but I couldn't move. I was just so scared. I didn't know what to do" cried Crimson. He felt a deep pit in his stomach, a pit full of pain, sadness, anger, hatred, and an extreme lust for revenge.
"Remember what you told me earlier Crimson? There was nothing you could have done to stop this, don't blame yourself." said Roxanne
Crimson looked up into the starry skies above. "No" Crimson said as he turned to face Roxanne. "But I can do everything in my power to avenge it".

Crimson groaned, and slowly opened his eyes. He was back in his room in Canterlot, Celestia's sun was just beginning to rise over the horizon. Bright yellow colors mixed with the shadows of the night, soon the streets of Canterlot would be crowded with local ponies, and travelers. Two nights had passed since Princess Luna had visited him, telling him to decide who he was. Every time he tried to think about any of the flashbacks he ended up with a headache that made him feel like his head was about to explode. Whoever was doing this to him must have either really hated him for something, or had some extremely fucked up fetish. That doesn't matter though, not right now at least. Princess Luna had asked him to do his best to remember the memories, even if it made his hurt like hell.
"Try your best to remember what you see every night in those memories Crimson, I can not watch only you and leave everypony else in Equestria stuck in their worst nightmares. Report to me whenever you feel ready to begin, but you must hurry Crimson. Time is of the essence, the longer we wait the more time the enemy has to become stronger" said the voice of Luna from last they met.
Three loud knocks on the door startled Crimson from his thoughts. Spike burst into the room out of breath, which immediately told Crimson that something was wrong.
"Everypony needs to gather in the throne room, the princess said it's urgent!" gasped Spike.
"Woah slow down there tiger, take a breath. Okay now what's going on?" Crimson asked.
"I don't know, Twilight just told me to get everypony into the throne room and to do it quickly" the dragon replied.
Crimson sighed, he hadn't even been awake for five minutes and he was already receiving a quest to the throne room. Slowly he got out of bed and walked over to a teal colored mirror on the far left corner of the room. Looking at himself through the mirror he noticed that his eyes had become a brighter color than before, not to mention that he had several scratches on his right leg that he did not have before last night. Eventually he just decided that he must have been moving around a lot last night and accidentally scraped his leg across the table beside his bed. Crimson quickly made his way out of the room and towards the throne room. Birds could be heard singing outside the castle, alongside dogs barking playfully at their neighbors. Bees were buzzing around flowers collecting pollen for their honey, wind gently brushed through nearby trees and grass. Crimson found himself so lost in nature around him that he almost walked right by the throne room.
Crimson's jaw dropped when he saw the mare standing in the middle of the throne room. She was a yellow pegasus with bright green eyes that reminded him of grass waving in the wind of a beautiful summer afternoon, her mane was a mixture of bright pink and dark purple, and her cutie mark was a silver compass that represented her love for adventure. Crimson was staring in awe for so long that he didn't realize that he had walked up to her until she giggled.
"You know Crimson, you really shouldn't stair at a lady for so long. She might think there is something wrong with her" said the mare.
"I wasn't, well I was, I mean I, well, wait how did you know my name?" Crimson asked slightly confused.
"W-what do you mean?" asked the mare. "We've been friends for years. Crimson I was the filly that you saved from the timberwolves 13 years ago. I'm Roxanne, don't you remember? Roxanne Starlight"
Everything after Crimson heard her name was nothing but a muffled slur to him. Memories of the night in the Everfree forest flashed through his head like some sort of movie. The crowded marketplace him and ADHD traveled through, the hill they where they met up with Quindem, the scream in the forest that they chased and found the filly named Roxanne being attacked by a pack of timberwolves, everything. These memories showed him the true path that he needed to follow. He wasn't some weird being from some other planet that may or may not even exist. He was a pony of Equestria, and nothing would ever change that.
