A pony and an oddly-shaped figure approached a dark castle on a dark night. The small guards with fangs let them enter. Through a window all that could be seen were three figures with cloaks on talking.
One figure removed the cloak. He was a pony with silver armor on and a black mane. His eyes were a glowing green and red. His horn was red and curved.
A second figure removed the cloak. He was a creature made of many different creatures.
The third creature removed the cloak. She was a drab-looking alicorn with holes all in her. The alicorn spoke.
"I am tired of of Twilight and her little 'friends' always defeating everypony that goes against their little 'rules of society.'" She said menacingly. "It's time to fight back!" she yelled.
The two other figures murmured agreements.
"Well I have an idea that will not only crush their lives but all of those in Equestria... and then THE WORLD!" she yelled.
Twilight was walking down the streets of Ponyville using her magic to hold up a book of spells, reading along the way, as usual. She was traveling to Sislighterlot to visit her friend Princess Rosebud Golden Sun. Something was on her mind and she knew that Rosebud would listen and wouldn't tell anypony unless it involved harming somepony else.
Finally she arrived at Sislighterlot. The guards let her into the giant castle. She trotted down the familiar hallways leading up to Rosebud's room. There were guards surrounding the entrance to the bedroom. They all stepped aside and Twilight entered the big bedroom. Rosebud was sitting on her bed having a conversation with her husband Prince Soren Night Flight.
"Rosebud we need to talk-" She glanced at Soren. "Alone." she finished.
Soren nodded and trotted out of the bedroom.
The guards that were in the room stepped out after him and closed the door.
Rosebud hopped off of her bed and sat at a table in her room with two chairs. She motioned for Twilight to sit down. Twilight followed directions.
"So tell me,what's on your mind?" Rosebud said as soon as Twilight got settled.
"Well I just wanted to plan a party for me and Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy's friendship anniversary. We've been friends for three years!!! I just wanted to thank them for always being there for me and helping me with everything. I wanted it to be a surprise and I knew that you were TRUSTWORTHY enough to keep a secret." she said.
Fluttershy woke up ready to go. She was heading to Sislighterlot so that Soren could teach her social skills. She wanted to get more friends and open up to more ponies and Soren was going to teach her how to do it.
She decided that she would take the path that leads her through the Everfree Forest.
"After all Fluttershy it IS morning... how scary could it be?" she mumbled to herself.
She shuddered thinking about that first the night when her friends were traveling through the Everfree Forest to figure out how to defeat Nightmare Moon.
She continued walking. Then she stopped in front of the forest entry.
"What's there to be afraid of?" she muttered to herself "It's morning. You can do it Fluttershy!!! " she murmured inspiring herself.
She trotted into the forest. The deeper she got into the forest the darker it got. The trees were covering the sun. She trotted farther, quickly her steady trot turned into a full-blown gallop. She was scared. Suddenly she stopped. She thought she saw a pair of eyes watching her every move.
She started to shudder, then giggle at her actions. "Oh Fluttershy! Stop it! Your mind is playing tricks on you."
She thought about the night that she and the other Element Spirits traveled into the Everfree Forest. She thought about the scary trees. Then she thought about Pinkie Pie's Element.... Laughter.
"Ha Ha Ha!" she said.
Instead of the eyes disappearing they moved closer to her. Suddenly she was knocked over by huge paws. She screamed. Suddenly the weight of the big animal was lifted up off of her. She saw familiar amber eyes.
"Soren?" she managed to mutter
"Yes, Fluttershy." Prince Soren muttured comfortingly.
There was a loud screech and a howl. The sound grew more distant and more distant with every second.
"You're so BRAVE." Fluttershy muttered. She got up and started walking again.
Rainbow Dash flew around the sky clearing clouds. She heard a familiar voice.
"Rainbow!" it said.
Rainbow Dash looked down. Her coltfriend Showbiz was looking up at her. She flew down to him hovering just above the ground.
"Hey Showbiz!" She gave him a hug.
Showbiz hugged back. "I just wanted to say our date to the Wonderbolts' show is tonight." He reminded her. "Where are the tickets Rainbow?"
She flew to her house and came back with two tickets to the Wonderbolts' show. She handed them to Showbiz.
"Don't lose them..." she said playfully.
"I won't. Dash don't worry." Showbiz said playing along.
They both started to laugh.
"Rainbow..." a pegasus above said indicating that she should get back to work.
"Alright, alright" she said to the pegasus. She turned back to Showbiz "Well I guess I've gotta go." she said to him.
"I'll see you later" he said.
They gave each other a hug and parted ways. Rainbow flew up to a cloud.
"Don't lose those tickets!" Rainbow yelled down actually concerned this time.
"I won't!" the unicorn yelled up to Rainbow.
Rainbow giggled to herself. She started to clear the clouds again.
That evening Showbiz and Rainbow met up at Sislighterlot's bakery. Showbiz looked upset.
"What's wrong, Show?" she asked concerned.
"I lost the tickets!" Showbiz said. He looked at his hooves. Then he looked up at Rainbow Dash. She was shocked. Showbiz started to smirk. Then he started to smile. Then he started to laugh.
"Hey no pranking! That's my job!" Rainbow said with the slightest bit of annoyance.
They both started laughing.
"I'm glad you showed some RESPONSIBILITY, Biz" Rainbow said. "I though you would lose them."
The couple started to trot off. Their voices grew more and more distant every second. /color]
Rarity was up most of the night making a saddle. To make it perfect she had to master a very complex stitch. The pony she was making it for was coming over that afternoon. Rarity had been reading sewing books all morning.
"Oh what ever shall I do?!" she said dramatically.
Sweetie Belle took one look at her sister and dashed away.
Rarity tried to perfect the stitch. It seemed so simple!
"How can I not get this!" Rarity said.
Just then a knock came at the door. A unicorn named Bluebell trotted in.
"Hey, Rarity!" she said distractedly. She was reading a book about reversing dark magic.
"Hello Bluebell..." she draped a piece of cloth over the unfinished creation.
"I still don't understand why I have to get a new saddle. I'm not even going anywhere anytime soon!" Bluebell said.
Rarity rolled her eyes "I design clothes for anypony and everypony whether they are going anywhere or not."
"Okay." Bluebell said.
Rarity put the sewing book down. "So where is the saddle? I figure if you are going to make me one I might as well like it." Bluebell said.
"Oh.. ummm about that." Rarity squirmed.
"Mhm" Bluebell said worriedly.
"Well... I... um.. can't master the stitch... the main stitch."
"Huh?"
"Well I can't master the stitch. It looked so easy when I planned it on paper but it's not."
Bluebell uncovered the ponyquien with her magic. She examined the unfinished saddle. "Hmmm" she thought for a second. "Rarity let me see something in that book you were reading."
Rarity used her magic to levitate the book to Bluebell.
She read for a bit. Then she started to sew by hoof following the directions. "Ah ha!" she said.
Rarity trotted up to her. "H- h- how did you do that?!" Rarity frowned thinking.
"It was easy... All you have to do is use your hooves."
Rarity looked confused.
"You see, you were in the chapter 'Stitches Accomplished By Hoof' You were using your magic."
Rarity opened her mouth to say something but no sound came out.
Bluebell continued"I could tell because of these stitches." she pointed to the incorrect stitches.
"Mhm" Rarity said listening.
"When you use your magic to do this stitch you end up with the opposite of what you want, which is why you do it by hoof."
Rarity nodded, amazed. "Bluebell you have a lot of... KNOWLEDGE." Rarity started hoof sewing and finally got thye stitch right. "Thank you Bluebell!" Rarity said happily.
"All you had to do was read," Bluebell said "but you're welcome."
Before long the saddle was almost complete. Rarity added a few gems to it. She put the saddle on Bluebell. It was green like her mane. The gems were blue like her body.
"It's perfect!" Bluebell said "Thanks so much Rarity!" she gave Rarity a few coins.
"You're very welcome Bluebell." she replied. "Farewell" she said as Bluebell trotted away wearing her new saddle.
