After returning home from a long day at the beach, Sweetie Belle sat down at her desk, setting her notebook down as she turned on her computer.
“Ok...Fimfiction.net. Username Notebelle Lover, password Crusader.” Sweetie mumbled to herself as she filled in the information.
“Yay, I’m in. Now new story. Hmm title. How about 2 girls 1 ocean. Now, it’s a comedy, random, and romance. It’ll be completed, and characters are Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer. Ugg what do I put as a description? How about...After a day at the beach alone, Twilight and Sunset discover something they have been oblivious to since Twilight transferred to Canterlot High. That’ll work. Now copy...and paste in long description. It’s rated teen, and now create story.
It was their last spring break before college, so Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer decided to take a trip to the beach. It was the two of them since everyone else had been working to catch up on homework, after the excitement of the Friendship games.
Sunset grabbed the two surfboards that they borrowed from Scootaloo and Pinkie Pie, while Twilight grabbed their bags out of the back of the car.
“Ready Twi?” Sunset asked walking towards the water. Looking behind her, she saw Twilight just staring at the beach still next to the car. “Are you alright?”
“Yeah! I’m fine.” Giggling nervously Twilight started playing with a strand of her hair. “I guess I’m just a little bit nervous now that we’re actually here. I’ve never surfed before.”
Walking over, Sunset placed her hand on Twilight’s shoulder. “Don’t worry, you’ll do great, and remember...I’m right here.”
Twilight reached up and put her hand on top of Sunset’s. “Thanks.” Glancing down, she couldn’t help but look over Sunset.
Why does she have to be so nice to me! This is so confusing. I mean what if I make a move and she doesn’t want me like that. Things will be so awkward. Then what would our friends think?
“Come on, I’ll show you what to do.” Taking Twilight’s hand, Sunset started leading her towards the water. Sunset couldn’t help but smile, looking at what Twilight was wearing. Twilight wore a one piece keyhole bathing suit with board shorts, while she just wore a simple bikini.
Twilight followed Sunset into the water, letting out a high pitch shriek when the water made contact with her legs. “”It’s cold!” Shivering, Twilight laid down on her board and started paddling, copying Sunset’s actions.
Stop being so adorkable Twilight. It’s making things really hard on me. I mean you’re my age, but you remind me of a filly that you just have to love. We can’t be together though, we’re just friends. Right?
“Ok Twilight. This is how you duck dive. It’ll help you when we get to the impact zone.” Twilight couldn’t but stare at Sunset and the way the water made her glow. Shaking her head to clear her thoughts, Twilight practiced the duck dive a couple of times before paddling ahead.
“Awesome job Twi. I knew you’d be a natural.” Sunset couldn’t help but blush noticing her friends rosy cheeks. “Ok, I’m going to show you how to catch a wave now. You need to watch closely because the movements are quick. Plus knowing you, you’ve already researched how to do it. I don’t think I need to explain it.” Laughing as Twilight meekly shook her head no, Sunset looked over her shoulder to see a wave forming.
Laying back down on her board, Sunset started paddling. Twilight watched Sunset carefully, absorbing every detail. Every movement of her body, every curve, every muscle flex. Twilight’s blush depended as she watched the wave die down, and Sunset going back over to her.
“Were you able to see me alright?” Twilight nodded as her heart raced.
I would give anything to watch that again. Or even just be with her on that board. The way she moved was beautiful. Oh please do it again.
“You ok Twilight? Are you getting to hot, because you can always jump in the water to cool off.” Sunset leaned over her board to touch Twilight’s forehead. She was warm, but not enough to make her act like this.
She’s so cute when she acts like this.
“Mm hmm.” Twilight tried to form words, but her dry mouth didn’t want to work. Smirking Sunset kicked her leg out, knocking Twilight off her board.
“Hey! What was that for?” Twilight shook her head, while trying to wipe some of the water off her glasses.
Oh, so that’s how it’s going to be.
Sunset couldn’t help but laugh. “Sorry. Thought you needed to cool off.”
I love it when she gets flustered like that.
Smirking, Twilight went underwater. Sunset started to worry when her Twilight didn’t come up right away, until she felt something hit the bottom of the surfboard knocking Sunset backwards into the water.
That little parasprite. Stealing my move.
Swimming back to the surface, Sunset grabbed onto her board and began coughing violently. She had accidently swallowed some water when she fell.
“Sorry I had to.” Twilight giggled.
Please don’t tell me that I went to far. I was just playing.
Why does she have to be so cute? I think she’s doing it on purpose just to tease me.
“Not cool Twil.” Sunset giggled while splashing Twilight. Noticing Twilight start to go underwater, Sunset grabbed her arm and pulled Twilight over to her board.
“Get on my board.” Twilight nodded as she hoisted herself up, as Sunset pulled herself onto the other side.
“Thanks Sun…” Twilight’s eyes went wide as Sunset leaned in, her lips touching Twilights. Twilight pulled away for a but never broke the kiss. A couple moments later she finally allowed herself to relax and lean into the kiss, catching Sunset by surprise for a moment.
Both girls wrapped their arms around each other, getting lost in the moment. It wasn’t until a couple minutes later that they finally pulled apart, with a gasp. Fresh air rushed into their lungs, as they attempted to calm their breathing.
“Wow”
She feels the same way! Eeeep!
Idiot! You want her to like you, not think you are trying to attack her!
“Twilight, I’m so sorry. I...I don’t know what came over me, I think it was just a spur of the moment thing, and you were…” Sunset was cut off by another kiss.
“You’re starting to sound like me.” Twilight giggled as she broke the kiss. They looked each other in the eye, both blushing furiously, “so I guess I’m not the only one who feels this way?” Twilight asked, sheepishly rubbing the back of her neck.
Sunset couldn’t help but smile as she shook her head. “Nope. Although you were very adorable when you tried to hide it.” Leaning in Sunset gave Twilight a quick peck on the cheek. Realization set it as their normal colors returned.
“So what now?” Using the leash Twilight pulled her board over to her, and transferred onto it.
“Still want to go to dinner later tonight?” Sunset offered while mentally slapping herself.
This is going to fast, you’re going to freak her out
“I wouldn’t miss it for either world.” With one last kiss they headed back to shore, very happy.
“Sweetie Belle. What are you doing?” Rarity sing songed as she stuck her head into her little sisters room.
“Nothing.” Sweetie nervously giggled while minimizing the window, as Rarity tried to see her screen.
“Sweetie Belle.” Rarity deepened her voice to make it sound more firm, and at that point Sweetie knew she didn’t have a choice. Standing up, she allowed Rarity to sit down and open up the tab.
“Fimfiction. I don’t believe I’ve heard of it before.
“It’s a story website about us and our families! The FIM means friendship is magic. You can find fictional stories about anyone at the school on there, and there are a couple involving our families. There are even a couple with some of the Crystal Prep students.” Sweetie opened another tab so she could go to the home page for Rarity, and not lose her story.
Immediately Rarity noticed one tagged Rarity and Big Macintosh. Opening the first chapter, Rarity red about a fourth of it before her white face turned crimson. Grabbing a piece of paper from Sweetie’s desk, she scribbled something down that Sweetie couldn’t quite make out, before running to her room. Sweetie closed her door before returning to the computer, and closing the tab.
“Don’t even want to know what that story was about. Ok, now to edit.”
Rarity ran into her room, making sure to close the door before going to her computer. “Alright now, Fimfiction.net. Now I need to sign up...hmmm username. Gems Chick should do…”
