Chapter 14 - Both Sides To One's Story (Part 1) [Re-edited]

It was by far the best night for our heroes. The Endercon was a complete success. Everypony had a really good time, especially from the karaoke contest. It as already late at night and the Royal Sisters decided to head back to the castle after saying a good night to everypony. The rest went to have dinner as a celebration. Right now, everypony was on top of the wide balcony at Shadow's mansion having a delicious pixel dinner. Though, Twilight's family was curious about her 'coltfriend'.

"So... you are my daughter's coltfriend?" Night Light said as he looks at Shadow.

"You are very correct, Mr. Light." Shadow answered.

"Just Light would do please. I feel like an old stallion like that."

"Okay, I can live with that."

"What do you do for a living?" Velvet asked.

"I currently have accepted a job opening as a bodyguard for a pony name, Filthy Rich."

"You didn't have a job before?"

"No ma'm, I was jobless when I was came to Equestria."

"Then how did you afford this mansion?" Night asked.

"Built it myself. My kind has the ability lift blocks and we can build many structures."

Night seems to be impress by Shadow's skill. Although, he did had a few more questions.

"When did you started dating my daughter?" Night asked suspiciously.

"We have recently gotten together since last night. We haven't went out on a real date yet." Shadow asked truthfully.

"Is this true, Twilight?" Velvet asked.

"Yes, and I couldn't be anymore happier." Twilight says sheepishly.

Night and Velvet looked at each other before smiling.

"I would like to say welcome to the family, Shadow." Night says smiling.

"My little Twily is growing up!" Velvet said tearing up with joy.

Twilight blushed with a bit of embarrassment.

"Speaking of growing up, where did you three come from?" Shadow asks the new ponies.

"Well, me and Cherry came from Manehatten. I used to work there as novelist. I wrote stories and occasionally did management when my boss wasn't around to supervise." Page said as he nibbles on a pixel apple.

"I made my delicious candy at a candy shop." Cherry added.

"Interesting, what brought you two here from such a long trip?" Rarity asks.

"Well, my boss had to close down his shop because not enough ponies show up and buy our candy." Cherry explained. "For Writer here, he said that he quit his job."

"Why would do that?"

"My bills have been getting to much for me to keep up with and my previous job wasn't paying enough." Writer says.

"How come you couldn't find another job, or take a part-time one?"

"It's kind of hard to find one in that city. Everything there is productive and busy that they don't hire that much. So, I thought I could come down here to live a more peaceful life. Besides, this place is beautiful and quiet."

"Oh, I'm sorry you had to move, but I should tell you that you picked the right spot to live." Twilight said.

"But what are you two fellows going to do for a job?" Applejack asks.

"Well, I was going to head over to Canterlot tomorrow to get a job as a reporter for the newspaper." Writer answered.

"And I'm going to work for Bon Bon since she's your town's local candy maker. I'm sure she'll like some of my recipes." Cherry also answered.

"Well good for you two." Twilight smiles.

"What about you, Ender?" Rainbow asks. "What's your story?"

"I'm from nowhere and everywhere..." Ender only said.

"...uh, that doesn't really answer my question."

"I'm sorry, but Ender here isn't really the social type." Writer explains.

"That doesn't mean he can't answer a simple question."

"Well, it was a nice dinner, but we must be on our way." Cherry says quickly.

"Already?" Shadow asks. "Well, I guess we'll see you three next time."

"Alrighty then, bye-bye!"

With that, the three guests left post haste.

"That was weird." Shining said. "But they do have a point. I think it might be time to sleep for the night. It's getting very late."

"I agree." Says Night. "Well, thank you for the meal, Shadow, and bid you all farewell."

"We got to go too." Wild Style said getting up. "Thanks for dinner, Shadow."

Soon, everypony and Mob got up (after helping clean up of coarse.) and headed out the door. Although, Night Light and Velvet stopped at the door.

"Twilight..." Velvet calls over.

"Yeah?" Twilight asks.

Velvet leans closer and whispers something into Twilight's ear. Whatever it was, it made Twilight blush furiously to Shadow's confusion.

"MOM!!"

"What is it, Twilight?" Shadow asks.

"Nothing! Nothing at all!"

"I was just reminding her to use-"

"Mom! Please don't tell him!"

Shadow giggled at Twilight's antics. Soon, everypony went on home minus Mirror since it is her home. After tucking in Mirror in her bed, Shadow was about to head up stairs for the night when he noticed a small present next to the door. It was black with purple wrapping. He picked up the small gift as it felt a little heavy. Curious, Shadow open the lid and was shocked to see a glowing golden apple. It was none other then the rare Notch Apple. Shadow then saw a tag attached to the box. It said it was from Black Ender. How in the nether did he get this?

Somewhere in Ponyville, outside of a motel was Writer Page, Cherry Bomb, and Black Ender. Who was actually GEO after de-cloaking his disguise.

"That was too close back there." Writer says. "They were almost on to us."

"We're fine, Writer. They didn't suspect anything." GEO said looking into his communicator.

"I don't think 'nowhere and everywhere' was the best choice of words."

"It's true isn't it? I been through places that is out of everybody's reach. Well, except for the Doctor of course."

"Can you believe that we actually got to meet the characters." Cherry asks excited.

"I couldn't believe it either." Writer says looking for his keys. "Although, I wish we could of been in the first episode. Still don't know how we came to this world in the first place."

"It was Herobrine." GOE said looking up. "It'll be a matter of time till he commence with his plan."

"Which is..."

"How am I suppose to know? Your the author of this story."

"Yeah, I know that Mr. Jedi. The problem is that I never finished it before we were suck into this place many years ago. It' pretty much up to fate at this point."

"Actually, it's up to the narrator to decide what happens next. How else is this story continuing without you?" Cherry said with smile.

"Oh yeah, hey Narrator," Writer says looking at me somehow. "Can you skip ahead to when Shadow-"

"ENOUGH!" GOE yells startling both ponies. "Look, I know we know about the fourth-wall and all, but we can't break it. Galactic rules."

"How is it that were normal human turned ponies, but you're a human turned Jedi pony who gets to patrol the universe?"

"Because I put more effort on my OC."

"Whatever..." Writer says as he opens the door to their room. "You coming with us, or are you going to your spaceship thing?"

"First off, it's a space station. Second, yes. I need to find out what Herobrine is planning. Since you didn't finish this story out there, he is dangerously unpredictable."

"He's just a Troller, GOE. How is he a threat? He's free from the Nether. What more does he want?"

"Writer, sometimes in life, things don't seem to really appear to be." Just then, GOE's communicator starts ringing. "Well, it has been fun, but I must bid you two farewells and goodnight."

"Why do you talk like that? Just because your OC is a Jedi, doesn't mean you have to act like it."

"When living for a thousand years, you grow to become more wiser."

"Whatever, see you later."

With a nod, GOE was then surrounded in a blue light before he disappears out of sight.

"That wasn't really nice back there." Cherry frowned.

"It's just annoying sometimes when he treats me like a child... or colt."

"Well you do make bad decisions sometimes. Like that 'other' story you wrote."

"Ugh... Don't mention it."

"What are we going to do tomorrow?"

"Well, I'm planning on getting a job somewhere in Canterlot."

"Why Canterlot? You know those ponies there are snobs. Well, minus Fancy Pants. He's a true noble."

"The jobs there pay well. I also have been meaning to have a talk to the princess."

"For what?"

"...Something important..." Writer says as they go into their room.

Cherry was confused, but knowing Writer for so long, she decided to not push it anymore.

"What about you, what are you going to do while I'm gone?"

"I've actually been thinking that I should apply for a job too."

"Is is candy related?" Writer smirked as he and Cherry climb into bed.

"You bet your suit it's candy related."

"No! Not my suit!"

Cherry giggles as she moves closer and gives Writer a peck on the lips.

"Your so silly."

The couple smiled as they drift off to sleep while cuddling with each other.

Meanwhile in the outer Atmosphere...

"Sir, dinner will be ready in 5 minutes." A mare in uniform says as GOE stares out the window.

"Thank you, Mary. How is Trixie's progress in the training room?"

"She is actually improving. She'll be above average in combat training."

"Excellent." GOE turns towards the mare. "What is the status on the Micro Seekers?"

"Our engineers will have them ready by tomorrow."

"Perfect, could you please inform Trixie that dinner will be read?"

"Yes, sir."

As the mare leaves to fulfil her duties, GOE turns back towards the window with a sigh.

"Something troubling you?"

GOE turns around to see a familiar brown Pegasus wearing an Assassin's Creed robe.

"Oh, Thunder Driller, fancy seeing you here."

"Normally, I wouldn't come to his oversized white Dorito, but I've gotten the weapon you wanted for the Enderpony." Driller said showing GOE his package.

"Well done, anything to report?"

"Unfortunately, yes I do. Me and the spies detected supernatural energy waves in the Everfree Forest."

"Supernatural? That kind of levels come from the-"

"Midnight Zone. I know."

GOE looks back out the window that shows a full view of Equis.

"What are you up to Herobrine?"
