As Shadow and Mirror were trotting down the dirt road towards Ponyville, they soon spotted a pony lying down under a tree.
"Who is that pony, Shadow?" Mirror asks still on Shadow's back.
"I don't know. I've already met everypony in Ponyville. He must be new." He looked at Mirror. "He's obviously taking a nap, so we shouldn't disturb him."
Just when they were about to pass by the mysterious pony, Mirror saw that there was something wrong with stallion.
"Shadow, wait!" Mirror pulled Shadow to a halt. "That pony is hurt!"
Shadow turned back towards the sleeping pony and noticed that it had scorched marks all over his body and looked so rotten like expired cabbage. Shadow was starting to get worried.
"Um, excuse me, sir. Are you okay?"
The figure didn't responded. Now Shadow was starting to get really worried.
"Hey, wake up!" Shadow raised his voice as he shook the figure.
"Okay, okay! I'm getting up!"
Once the mystery stallion opened his eyes, it completely spooked Shadow as he teleported a few feet away with Mirror behind him. Shadow then gotten a better look at the stallion. He had a green coat with dark green raggedy mane and tail. He looked so filthy. He was also wearing a light blue shirt that looked like it went through a shredder. What sent chills up Shadow's spine was that the stallion had no eyes. Sure, he seen them in Craftia from the others and from Long Shot, but the were pixelated and Long Shot had no rotting flesh. Realization came to Shadow, this was not any ordinary pony, it was another Mob!
"What do you want?" The Zombie Pony asked.
Shadow hesitated. " I was wondering if you were okay."
"Wait, you asking me if I was okay, and you're not running away form me?" The rotten pony asked surprised.
"Well yeah, you looked like you went through an incinerator and a shredder. Also, it's going to take a lot to scare me." Shadow lied a bit on that last statement. "Say, this may be a random question, but are you a Mob?"
"I am! How did you know?!" The stallion asks once again surprised.
"Well, I am a Mob too."
The stallion examined the Enderpony a bit. "Well, now that I have good look at you, you do resemble an Enderman."
"I think introduction should be in order." Mirror said as she comes from under Shadow.
"And who are you little one?"
"I guess I'm first. My name is Violet Rose, but my real name is Mirror Coat and I'm Changeling."
"Hello there, and what's a Changeling?"
"It's a long story." Shadow picked up. " Also, my name is Shadow the Enderpony. I was the first one to get here."
"First one? Are there others here too? Also, what is here?"
"For your first question, yes. There are other Mob turned ponies here. There's me, a Skeleton, Slimes/Magmas, and a Spider. For your second question, the land you are in is named Equestria. You're in another world."
"Another world huh? I was wondering why I was a horse."
"Ponies, they're called ponies. Horse is a bit offensive to them just a heads up."
"Right, got it. Well, I guess it's my turn. My name is Flesh Feeder. And as you can tell, I am a Zombie."
"Nice to meet you, Flesh. By the way, what happened to you?"
"Well, the cuts and rottenness is how I looked when I got here, and the burned marks, I think you can figure that out."
"Oh yeah, the sun. How long have you been here?"
"Since yesterday, I was outside some fancy city on that mountain over there. The ponies there ran away screaming and saying a lot of rude things when they saw me. I was sent here by a Witch back in Craftia."
"Did she snuck up on you?" Mirror asked.
"No, she asked me to stand on one spot. So, I 'yes' and now I'm here."
Shadow and Mirror turned there heads towards one another with the most bemused expression on their faces.
"You followed what a Witch said to do for no reason or any worries for your safety?" Shadow deadpanned.
"I may not know much on how Craftia works, but even I know that you can't trust a Witch." Mirror agreed.
"I was bored. Besides, who ever heard of a Witch throwing Healing Potions?" Flesh countered.
"I guess you have a point. Say, do you want to meet my friends. They should be in town."
"In case you haven't noticed, I can't go anywhere till night."
"I think I got something for that." Shadow turns around. "You two stay here, I'll be right back."
With that, Shadow teleported deep into the Everfree Forest. He stood in front of a familiar hut as he knocks the door.
"Hey, Zecora!" Shadow yelled. "I'm sorry for coming unannounced, but do you have those Fire-Proof Potions Long Shot asked for?!"
There was no answer. Shadow then opened the door and ducked his way in.
"Hello? Anypony here?" Shadow asked.
There was no answer as the whole place was empty. Before Shadow could leave, he spots four glasses filled with some orange liquid. There was also a note. Shadow picked up the note.
Dear Shadow,
I thought you would come for my brew. Sorry if you I wasn't around. I'm out training Twilight. Help yourself to my batch.
Zecora
This was strange. Why is Zecora training Twilight? What for by the way? Oh well, must be magic thing or something. With that, Shadow grabbed all of the potions and teleported back to the waiting duos.
"Finally, where have you been?" Flesh asked
"I've went over to a friend of mine to get some of these Fire-Proof Potions. These were the stuff Long Shot the Skeleton asked for."
Shadow hoofs over a dose over to Flesh.
"These should help you out for a while till we get you settled in."
"Thanks.... this means a lot."
"We're Mobs, and we Mobs stick together."
Flesh smiled at the Enderpony and drank the orange liquid. He was hesitant at first, but soon he stepped out of the only safety from the sun. To trio's relief, the potion worked.
"Ah yeah! I'm fire-proof!" Flesh cheered.
"Come on, we can head over to Ponyville and meet up with the others."
With that, Shadow, Mirror, and Flesh started trotting over to Ponyville. On the way, Flesh would ask some questions on how the inhabitants would react to his looks. Shadow was a bit worried too that the citizens would be scared, but if they are lucky, then maybe they will just shrug it off and won't mind.
"Hey, Shadow?" Mirror asked.
"Yeah?"
"Is today some sort of holiday going on in Ponyville?"
"Not that I know of. Why do you ask?"
"Because there's a giant dome over it." Mirror pointed out.
Shadow was confused at first by Mirror's statement, but when he looked at Ponyville, he was shocked. It was indeed under some sort of dome. It also have a stormy clouds inside it. Without hesitation, he grabbed both Mirror and Flesh and teleported to the Golden Oak Library. Where he sees the rest of the girls are working.
"What in the Nether happened here?!" Shadow yelled.
"Shadow?! How did you get past the dome?" Rarity asked.
"I can teleport, remember?"
"Oh right, of course." Rarity said feeling silly for the obvious question.
"That dog-gone Trixie came back and took over Ponyville!" Applejack said in a tone of annoyance.
"Who's Trixie?" Shadow asked curious.
"Right, you weren't here when it happen. Well, many months ago, a unicorn mare named, Trixie came here to Ponyville and was boasting during one of her magic shows." Rarity started explaining. "We simply couldn't take and we tried to out-rank her with our own talents. But she humiliated us on stage! She tied up poor Applejack here, put Rainbow Dash in a tornado blender, and me! She did the worst thing of them all!!"
"What did she do?!" Shadow asked worried.
"She turned my beautiful mane green!!" Rarity screamed.
Shadow did not look amused.
"How terrible..." Shadow said in slight sarcasm which Rarity didn't catch.
"I know! If she wasn't all too powerful, I would give her a really bad hair day myself! Excepted more brutal!"
"ANYWAY.... what happened next?" Shadow still wanted to know the full details.
"Right, my apologies, Darling." Rarity composed herself. "Anyway, when we failed, we tried to convince Twilight in teaching her a lesson, but she refused because she thought we would see her the same way we saw Trixie. Later on that night, two of her fans, Snips and Snails brought an Usra Minor into Ponyville for Trixie to 'vanquish', but turns out that she's a fraud and her wagon got destroyed. Twilight was able to control the ghastly beast and save everypony."
In Shadow's mind, he was shocked and amazed that Twilight was able to defeat it by herself.
"Wait, what did you all do to Snips and Snails?"
"Twilight assigned them to clean up Ponyville and gave them mustaches."
'That's really weird' Shadow thought.
"Trixie came back with that Alicorn Amulet of hers and kicked Twilight out and trapped us all in this dome."
"Have you all tried to contact Princess Celestia?"
"No can do, partner." Applejack answered. "She cut off any kind of communication with that magic dome she put up."
"What are we going to do?" Flesh finally spoke, which spooked everypony.
"Who is that?!"
"What in tarnation?!"
"Oh....my...."
"Whoa!"
"What the?!"
"Wee!! Do you like parties?!"
"GIRLS!" Shadow shouted.
The panicky mares quiet down as Shadow explained.
"Everypony, this is my new Mob friend, Flesh Feeder. He's a Zombie Pony."
"What's up?" Flesh said.
"Uh... nice to meet you?" Applejack said unsure.
"I new zombies were real!" Spike screamed.
"Relax little dude, I'm not some sign of an zombie invasion."
"Darling, what happened to you shirt?!" Rarity yelled.
"I always wore this from Craftia."
"Um, mister Flesh Feeder... I got two questions for you." Fluttershy said from behind her mane.
"Sure, what is it?"
"Well, do you.... um, eat ponies?"
"No, and since I'm half dead already, I don't need to eat anything." Flesh said to the other's relief. "What's your other question?"
"Can you see?"
"Yeah, why you ask?"
"Well, it's just that you don't have any eyes."
"Oh, I can see without them. How I do it, I really don't know." Flesh said as he sits down on a wooden chair. "But shouldn't we be worried about the craze mare that is controlling the town?"
"Flesh is right. What are we going to do?" Shadow asked as he paces around the room before coming up with an idea.
"Well, there are three options. We can 1; go out there and fight, 2; ask her nicely to leave, or 3; I could teleport out of here and get Celestia. Since I don't feel like fighting and asking will fail under 3 seconds, so I'm going to go and get Celestia."
"Okay, but you need to hurry. It won't take long before Trixie will find out about our plan."
"You guys have a plan all ready?"
"We were going to have Fluttershy sneak out and tell Twilight about the Alicorn Amulet."
"I'm not sure if that's a good idea guys. What if Trixie catches you?"
"Don't worry, we found a way."
"Well okay, but just be careful." Said warns before turning his gaze towards Mirror. "You stay here, Mirror."
With that, Shadow teleported all the way to Canterlot.
When he got there, some of the locals were a bit startled by his sudden entrance, but soon recognized the Enderpony. You may not know it, but Shadow somehow gotten a reputation for being the ultimate fighter. Some see it as barbaric, while others, like mares, see him as a strong, noble knight in shining armor. Shadow ignored the nobles as he ran into the front gates of the castle. Where two guards posted blocked his past.
"Halt! Who goes there?!" The guard on the left said.
"My name is Shadow the Enderpony, and I came to warn Princess Celestia of an emergency in Ponyville." Shadow explained.
"How do we know if you're lying?" The other guard said.
Shadow glared at the guard. Before the guard can do anything, Shadow grabbed him and teleported to the top of castle. The guard struggle to get free before he realized how high he was.
"Get me down from here! I'm afraid of heights!"
"You wanted proof, so there it is!" Shadow forced the guard to look.
The guard soon saw that the whole town was indeed in some sort of trouble. He saw a giant dome over it. Satisfied, Shadow teleported back down the front gate with a startled guard.
"Well?" Shadow asked with smirk.
"Uhh... your story checks out." The guard says still a bit startled. "The princess is in the dining hall, but she is in a meeting with some ambassadors from Saddle Arabia. So do be careful."
Shadow nobs and teleports to the dining hall in a matter of seconds. He once again startled nearby ponies. The princess and the other guests (I forgot there names, sorry.) look surprised at the sudden entrance.
"Shadow, this is an unexpected surprise." Celestia said as she puts down a half eaten piece of cake.
"I know and I'm sorry, but's it's an emergency."
"Something's wrong?" Celestia asked with a bit of worry.
"Yes, a crazed mare named, Trixie has tooken over Ponyville and sealed it off from the mainland with a giant dome."
"This does sound serious, but why hasn't Twilight contacted me in the first place? Not that I don't appreciate you warning me yourself."
"Trixie challenged Twilight in some duel and she lost. She then banished Twilight and created that giant dome. The other Element Bearers tried to send a message using Spikes flame, but that dome somehow cut off any source of communications and keeping anypony from leaving."
Celestia thought for a second before answering.
"Alright, I'll send some of my guards, but what does this Trixie look like?"
"I didn't really get a good description, but my friends told me that she was wearing a powerful object called the Alicorn Amulet."
This shocked Celestia and it was hard not to notice.
"Did you say the Alicorn Amulet?!" Celestia said in such seriousness.
"Yeah, do you know about it?" Shadow asked confused.
"Yes, it is an ancient artifact that will give power to the one who wears it. It was created by King Sombra as a last resort before me and my sister, Luna defeated him. It has dark magic with it as it will control the users emotions and intentions the longer they wear it!" Celestia explains as she stands up. "I will gather my guards and get my sister. This is a serious matter we must confront. It won't be a matter of time before this Trixie will do something drastic."
"I'll head back and try to stall as much as I can." Shadow said.
"Be careful, Shadow." Celestia warned.
With a nob, Shadow teleported back to Ponyville.
When he got back, Shadow was shocked to see Twilight lying on the floor. She was covered from horn to hoof with burned marks and bruises. She looked like she was about to faint. There standing in a defensive stance over her was Mirror who was glaring at Trixie.
"Did you really think you can fool me that easy?!" Trixie laughed. "Thanks to this amulet, I can be able to feel any nearby magic. That so called 'Power of the Everfree Forest' of yours had none!"
"Leave her alone you big meanie!" Mirror yelled.
"And what a little filly like you is going to do?" Trixie said as she was meet with a purple fireball to the face.
"That!" Mirror shouted as she continues to fire more fireballs.
Trixie saw them coming this time and conjured a force field and blocked the oncoming attacks. She then shot a blue beam at Mirror. Mirror then was frozen in place except for the head.
"I will not stand for rebels!"
Trixie then shot her own fireball and blasted Mirror out of her icy prison and a few feet away to everyponies shock. Before Mirror can get up, a lighting bolt stuck her as she was electrocuted.
"You wouldn't just shut up, would you?!"
ZAP!
"You kept going on about this 'Shadow' pony defeating me!"
ZAP!
"I have gone through Tartarus being a laughing stock!!"
ZAP!
"I'm not about to let a little bastard like you out-stage me!!!"
"...Please... stop..."
ZAP!
"I don't care who the buck you are! I'm putting you down!!
SSSCCRRRREEEEEECCHH!!!!
Before Trixie could figure out where that high pitch screech come from, She was punch square in the face and was sent crashing into her sugar-coated throne.
Trixie got up from the wreckage and saw the one who was responsible. It was a really tall black unicorn with purple mane and tail. She wasn't sure, but she thought it was this 'Shadow' that little filly was telling her about. Her train of thought was cut short as she heard the pony made another screech and charges.
Shadow seriously didn't want to fight, but nopony messes with Mirror or Twilight! As he charged, Shadow was struck by lighting and was sent flying a couple feet back. Without struggling, he gotten up and teleported behind Trixie and started swinging her by the leg. Trixie then, teleported out of Shadow's grasp and levitated two large boulders out of the ground.
"You won't out-stage me you purple eyed freak!"
Trixie threw the two boulders at Shadow. Shadow dodged the first boulder, but wasn't quick enough and was smashed into a nearby house by the other.
"Shadow!" The Mane 6 shouted.
There was a moment of silence as Trixie laughed.
"See, nopony can defeat The Great and Powerful Trixie!" She smirked.
The girls cried as their Enderfriend was crushed. Twilight took it the worst of all as she place her head into her hooves.
"Shadow... [sob] no... [sob]"
Yo, Long Shot and Flesh Feeder came to the front with the angry expressions.
"How could you do this?!" Yo cried.
"He didn't deserve this kind of fate!" Shot yelled.
"I will reach down your throat, rip out your heart, and eat it! All of it! Every last bit you bucking witch!!" Flesh roared.
Trixie laughed. "What can you three possibly do to-"
Ping!
Trixie turned towards the crash sight and to her and the others shock, Shadow was alive and was completely unharmed.
"H-How?!" Trixie asked a bit scared.
"I'm an unpredictable creature Trixie." Shadow said in a voice that sound like Chrysalis', except male. "Now... let's take this fight in the dark."
Shadow raised his horn high and made the dark clouds cover the entire town and made it very dark. Thinking quickly, Trixie turned her vision into night vision. She could see the ponies around her trying to find their own way around, until she felt something whisper close to her ear.
"...You're very good..."
Trixie desperatly tries to look for the Enderpony, but she couldn't find him.
"...but not good enough..."
Shadow grabs Trixie's leg again, only this time, he starts flipping and smashing her against the solid ground before releasing her in the air. Trixie screamed as she flew and came crashing down. How is this pony beating her?! She has the amulet!
"Alright!" Trixie yelled. "Time to kick it up a notch!"
Trixie then started glowing red and was getting brighter. When she dimmed down, she had a pair a dragon-like wings, and her cloak had so many red patters all over. She almost resembles an Alicorn.
"Let's see if you can dodge this!"
Trixie's horn then glowed so bright in nearly blinds Shadow and everypony else. Soon, she launched a giant flaming sphere at Shadow. Before he could teleport out of danger, he was hit with so much force that he nearly gotten blown away. Shadow was in so much pain. He couldn't move a muscle. He couldn't even speak normally.
All everypony can do is watch as the Enderman turned pony crumbles to the ground.
"See...huff*... like I said... huff*... nopony... huff*... can beat... huff*... me!" Trixie was exhausted, but still standing.
Shadow didn't reply as he gets up with his head still down.
"What the buck?!" Trixie screamed. "What's it going to take to for you to stay down?! You lost!"
Shadow still didn't answer as he ever so slowly raise his head. He tried to stay calm... He tried to keep in control... But this mare was asking for it. So there was one thing he had in his mind that his Mob instincts are telling him to do.
'...Kill her...'
"Well, are you going to stand there and glare at me, or are we going to-"
Trixie was interrupted by a loud roar. The horrific sound was so load that it destroyed the entire dome. Shadow then charged at Trixie with all his might. Trixie saw him coming and tried to do something, but she was too late as Shadow opened his mouth wide and chopped down on her throat. Trixie scream as Shadow lifted her up and started viciously thrash around with Trixie still in his grip. Trixie was now in more pain than she ever felt before as she can feel blood dripping from her neck and mouth. Just as she was about to teleport to safety again...
SNAP!
The Alicorn Amulet finally was ripped off of Trixie's neck in Shadow's jaw along with some skin that was torn off. Trixie then fell to the floor as she turns back to her normal self while still coughing up blood. She looked up and saw Shadow actually eating the Alicorn Amulet and the bits of flesh he gotten from his rampage to. It shocked and horrified everypony, even the Mobs were intimidated. Shadow soon turned his gaze towards Trixie, who started back-peddling in a failed attempt to get away.
"Please... have mercy..." Trixie could barely say as she sobs with fear.
Shadow ignored her as he made his advances towards the show mare with a creep growl.
Trixie new now that the tables have turned. This will be her death. Just when Shadow was about to go in for the kill, Trixie was surrounded in a light blue aura to her confusion. She then disappeared with a trace. Shadow blinked as he realizes that the threat was gone. He shook his head as he turned back to his normal state. He was tired.
"Shadow?"
Shadow turned to the voice calling to him. He then sees the Mane 6, Mobs, and Mirror looking at him with worried expressions. Shadow turned away was he teleported back to the house. Leaving behind the ponies.
Many miles in a cave in the Everfree Forest, lies a familiar show pony who was now covered in bandages next to a fire. There was also another pony with her. It was a unicorn stallion with a very dark blue coat. His mane and tail were purple with a light blue streak. He was also wearing some old robe with a strange devise that is attached to his right foreleg. There was picture of a galaxy on his robe. Possibly his cutie mark.
"Trixie... thanks you again for saving her."
The mysterious pony didn't answer as he continues to cook their meal on the fire. It was stew.
"Well... Trixie does have two questions. The first is who are you, and why did you saved me?"
"I saved you because I want to train you."
"Train me? Trixie does not need any training. For she is a master magic user."
"A master who used a forbidden dark amulet for her selfish needs?"
Trixie tried to say something, but she new he was right. She had to admit, she had gone out of control.
"I see so much potential in you, Trixie. I wish to take you under my wing. For you can do so much than you realize you can."
Trixie thought a bit before answering.
"Very well, Trixie will allow you to teach her."
"A wise decision, young one."
"You still haven't answered my question."
"Oh?"
"Yes, you haven't told Trixie your name."
The pony in robes chuckled.
"I was given many names in my past, but you shall refer to me as... GOE.
