The Day with the Doctor

"Come on!" the Doctor shouted, continuing to press buttons on his controller, "How am I losing, I shouldn't be loosing."

"You wanted to play Mario Kart without ever playing the game before," Twilight boasted, "It's not your fault you're loosing. Well, actually it is your fault, but let's ignore that."

"A blue shell?" the Doctor exclaimed, "How did I get hit by a blue shell, I'm not even in the lead!"

"Ha!" Twilight laughed.

While Twilight focused on the gameplay, the Doctor slowly reached into his jacket pocket, pulling out his sonic screwdriver. He quietly altered the game's coding as Twilight was immediately sent to last place, as the Doctor was the sent to first.

"What the? What...?" Twilight stuttered.

"Well, that was an interesting glitch." The Doctor said, crossing the finish line. He turned to Twilight. "How about a rematch?"

"Just put the cake in the oven, and go." the Doctor said.

"But, uh... these ingredients..." Sunset stuttered.

"Just put it in the oven." the Doctor ordered.

"If you say so..." Sunset mumbled, placing the cake into the oven.

Later...

"Oh, this is horrible!" Twilight exclaimed, spitting out a bite of cake.

"But..." the Doctor mumbled, "I could swore I used the right ingredients." the Doctor pulled a piece of paper out of his pocket.

Sunset grabbed the paper from the Doctor, and turned it over, before giving it back. "You were reading it upside down."

"Oh..."

The Doctor shoved the shovel down into the snow, before pulling it back up, and throwing the snow aside. "How much longer will we be out here?" Twilight asked. It had stopped snowing at about 3:00, and they need to clear the driveway.

"It depends." the Doctor said.

"Depends on what?" Twilight asked.

"On this!" a voice shouted, as Sunset Shimmer plowed into the driveway pushing an active snow blower.

She pushed it further down the driveway, finishing cleaning it quickly. She looked around, as it seemed the Doctor and Twilight had disappeared.. "Doctor? Twilight?"

She turned to see two figures completely covered in snow. "Oh... my bad."

"Well, school tomorrow." Sunset said. The three were sitting in the primary living room, eating popcorn and watching a film on the television. "So much for time off. Although, they couldn't push the board to have school on Christmas Day, could they?"

"Never trust a school board, they don't really care about their students." the Doctor said. "What is this film even about?"

"I don't know, but they certainly got alien life wrong." Sunset replied. "Star Wars did a better job than this, and frankly that's not saying much. Though, I'm still trying to get tickets to see episode seven."

"Trust me, there's a massive plot twist no one sees coming." the Doctor said, smirking slightly.

"Don't spoil it!" Sunset scoffed, standing to take her popcorn to the kitchen.

"Even still, it will be nice to see." Twilight said.

"I actually saw them in chronological order. In theaters every time." the Doctor bragged, "I'll tell you, it was a big step from episode three to four. Let alone sixteen to seventeen."

"There'll be seventeen Star Wars films?" Twilight asked, curiously.

"Actually, there will be... um..." the Doctor thought for a moment, "about three-hundred and seventy-six."

Twilight's mouth hung open so low that it would give Pinkie Pie have a run for her money. "And on that bombshell, we should get some shut eye. See you all in the morning.
