It was Sunday and Fluttershy felt okay about this day considering nothing had happened to her on Saturday, plus the convention had powerful security people. She was waiting outside the convention place for the doors to open after a nice breakfast at the Hinata House Apartments.
They had left almost all the stuff they had gained at the convention yesterday at the apartment, today would be a quick runaround and possible get a bobble head for Discord who had hinted that he wanted one.
Ranma was sticking around for the fun events and was waiting with them. He got a different apartment for one night, but paid for it because he didn’t have mechanical turtles that liked him quite like they loved Fluttershy.
“There you are!” At least this time Sailor Moon wasn’t calling Fluttershy a fiend and Luna the cat was noticeably nowhere to be found. The four other magical girls with her looked anywhere but at her. “I would say in the name of the moon I will punish you, but I’m more curious what that is that you’re wearing?”
“Oh this, it’s called the Lunar Locket. I found it in New York and won it playing ‘the quiet game’ and it came into my possession. Oh and I met some really nice people who knew about it, though I don’t think they understood exactly what it was fully capable of.” Fluttershy still didn’t feel like it was safe for Soft Echo to wander around in Nerima without protection, besides her filly looked really cute in the Rhizome suit. Her precious little flower that needed cuddles every now and then.
“Why what does that and the other thing you’re wearing do?” Sailor Moon really hadn’t seen the locket before or had really paid much attention to it before she had gone into her love and justice spiel the previous time; she also noticed that Fluttershy was wearing the translator.
“It’s a translator, I am from a different planet entirely and can’t naturally speak you’re language. I can’t even read anything on this planet. I’m thankful to have such good friends as Bonnie and Donnabelle here.” Not that Fluttershy liked the idea that they were looking like they were raring for a fight, Bonnie noticeably had her hands near her blaster pistols and Donna was idly drawing a glowing circles in the air while pretending to entertain Soft by making the several glowing circles look like a smiley face. “Anyway this Lunar Locket allows me to control the moon and…”
“Okay that’s definitely evil, Mars fire ignite!” The girl in the red colored sailor suit clasped her hands together to send a ball of fire at Fluttershy, Ranma was about to jump in when Bonnie grabbed his leg and shook her head no. Soft Echo was pulled back by Donna and Foxglove stayed out of the way having had it explained to her before what the locket did.
Sailor Mercury stared at her computer screen and watched as all the magical energy absorbed into the locket, some of the raw magical energy went to Fluttershy, the elemental energy was completely absorbed and then a percentage of the energy shot back out and struck Hino Rei with undeniable accuracy despite her attempts to dodge her own attack taking her down with a blow to the face. It was also to note that the reaction had not been controlled by Fluttershy whatsoever and the Lunar Locket did that all on its own, the locket also had more energy than any of the sailor soldiers had combined and a lot the energy it held was solar energy.
“Um… guys… I don’t think it’s a good idea to attack her, she’s not exactly at fault for...” Sailor Mercury otherwise known as Mizuno Ami sighed when Sailor Jupiter started up her attack which was firing lightning. If what she saw on her computer screen was right, an attack like that would backfire spectacularly and hit them all. Oh and her element of water would make her get hurt twice as hard by such an attack, this was a pretty bad situation for Ami since she wouldn’t be able to stop Kino Makoto’s in time.
“Take this, sparkling wide pressure!” As Sailor Jupiter began her attack by building up an electrical charge, the pony reacted to this in a startlingly calm manner.
Fluttershy slowly took out the container of water she always had on hoof from her saddlebag poured some of the water out into her other hoof immediately creating a cloud, then she stashed her water container away and held the cloud out in front of her to catch the magical attack within the magically formed cloud.
“You know, I’m kind of astonished that you did that so calmly.” Bonnie had known things would be fine the second she pulled out the water. To think Ranma and the gathered crowd just stood there staring dumbly at the little cloud that stopped Sailor Jupiter’s attack cold.
“Oh I’m actually quite scared they’re going to continue attacking me, but I would prefer it if we could settle this peacefully.” Turning to the roiling cloud before her she tapped the bottom of it and sent a bright streak of lightning into the sky. She pulled back her hoof while wincing slightly. “As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted, the Lunar Locket also absorbs energy and reflects a percentage of it back. I can sometimes control it with enough focus.”
“I can confirm without a doubt that she did not actively attack Sailor Mars and she prevented Sailor Jupiter from harming us. Besides that, didn’t we say we were going to give her a chance after Sailor Uranus, Neptune and Saturn called us telling us that they found a decent lawyer for Luna?” The two girls looked sheepish as Sailor Mercury took to standing beside Fluttershy while glaring at them. “Besides she doesn’t have a scrap of demonic energy in her and she’s not evil or she would have done something with the moon already. Though this would really begin to explain that one time the moon eclipsed the sun randomly, would you have happened to be on this planet a year or so ago?”
“Um, no, I’ve only been here for a week counting the fact that I was in a crash landing last Monday. Apparently this locket is among one of many mystical things called Shen Gong Wu that keep getting scattered around the planet, the xiaolin dragon warriors were nice enough to let me keep it.” Fluttershy took cover behind Sailor Mercury since she didn’t seem to be all too willing to attack her. “I’m Shy Flutter by the way, nice to meet you um…”
“Sailor Mercury, but call me Ami.” The girl squatted down and held a hand out to Fluttershy who shook it. “See, she’s not inherently evil nor does she have an evil plot, do you guys honestly think these five and the center of Nerima’s Wrecking Crew are really up to anything? The filly doesn’t look the least bit dangerous and we’ve actually seen what dangerous is like!”
“I swear, I’ll never live being the center piece of destruction down. Despite all the giant robots that are present around here knocking down half the city every other day when my so called friends aren’t.” Ranma’s reputation always had a tendency to precede him by a mile, of course none of his friends or he had to pay for the damages caused by their antics and that was thanks to the Nerima Construction Crew.
“That’s because you’re humans and they are giant robots, the fact that you can knock down walls and buildings is a bit more notable than a giant machine doing it.” It was true and Donna wanted to point that out, giant robots’ knocking down buildings was always going to be a thing. It was why there was so much manga dedicated to giant robot fights. Currently the puppy was lazily perusing Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure; she only brought one graphic novel with her and needed the space in her carrying sack that was currently in Fluttershy’s right hoof saddlebag.
“Hey the dog has a point… you do kind of make an impression by knocking down buildings to the point of infamy even in Juban. I’m Sailor Venus by the way, call me Minako.” Sailor Venus was willing to stand down even if Sailor Moon wasn’t; she had a strict policy against hurting children. Attacking the puppy and the filly would have been cruel to her; the puppy seemed highly disinterested in performing wantonly evil acts.
It was around the time the EDF soldiers, the Nerima Martial Arts Police and the Spirit Detective League arrived along with the Japanese equivalent of MIB from the Alien Bureau. Yusuke walked up to the Sailor Moon having watched her seem to look put off by all of her friends actions.
“Sailor Moon huh? Are these magical girls bothering you ambassador?” Yusuke was not usually one for trying to push home a point outside of combat, but in this situation he would make an exception by calling the sailor suited magical girls out on attacking someone who’s an ambassador of her species.
“No Urameshi-san, the situation is okay and no one got seriously hurt.” It was a correct statement as Fluttershy watched Sailor Mars get back to her feet with Sailor Jupiter’s help.
“She’s an ambassador?” Sailor Moon blinked at that, she looked worriedly at the pony.
“Yes, first contact ambassador of the pony race apparently who is visiting Earth on a mission of good will for a friend of hers. She’s helped a lot of people. If anyone knew you were stupid enough to continue pursuing a course of action in attacking an innocent such as her, you’d bring a lot of galactic law enforcers down on your head, not to mention everyone here.” Tapping his foot Kurama wasn’t happy with these magical girls bumbling into the Nerima area to seek out someone as friendly and mostly innocent as Fluttershy. She still gave those people heart attacks after all. These girls had a huge and rather completely understandable bias against youma’s; it still wasn’t an excuse for attacking Fluttershy’s group.
“Right well… oh look it’s Uranus and the others!” Sailor Moon wanted to divert all attention away from the fact that she had almost caused the worst kind of international incident imaginable.
Fluttershy’s ears twitched and she could hear many screaming people running from the area as Sailor Uranus, Neptune and Saturn arrived looking around with worry.
“What’s all the screaming about?” Fluttershy looked behind them and two blocks away turning the corner, was a vast number of what looked to be blonde haired robots with solid red glowing eyes marching down the street and among them was a throne being carried. “Oh please don’t tell me those are…”
“Fluttershy, at this point I’m not surprised in the slightest.” Shaking her head in a sad manner, Bonnie looked on at the army of robots. “You always did have a problem with attracting danger, especially in the form of a mechanical persuasion with the inclination for causing pain and or injury to the extreme manner of eventually causing death. Yes, they’re killer robots.”
“Oh dear, that’s not good. I actually know what those things are. Why would anyone build more of them?” Everyone turned to Foxglove who noticed that the spotlight was suddenly on her, she became rather shy at the attention. “They’re Bebe robots, once made by one Dr. Drakken who was once one of Kim Possible’s villains. Thankfully he’s retired, but his most dangerous inventions always turned out to always be robots in some way. Those are his robots and if they are running on the same programming code he used, there’s a ninety nine percent chance that’ll they’ll turn on whoever built them depending on whether or not they are a complete idiot. If it was the most recent version of Bebe robot, they would have immediately considered their creator an idiot for even thinking of rebuilding them. So someone must have gotten a hold of the blueprints and the older coding.”
“Saotome you’re foul sorcery will end today with my terracotta army supporting me you will not know victory, For I the Blue Thunder will finally free the tree born red headed kettle girl and the beautiful tigress Akane from you’re clutches!” The strange man waving around the wooden sword shouted from his perch on the chair.
“So let’s see, the biggest idiot in the world creates a massive army of robots that are prone to flipping out on their creator.” Even Ranma could see where this was all going. “This isn’t going to end well at all is it? Not only do we have to protect all the civilians from Kuno’s idiocy, but we also have to save him from these things when they turn on him.”
“I should quickly mention something before this guy decides to have them attack everyone in the vicinity. The robots can move at super speeds and can extend parts of their bodies, however they can’t move side to side very well at high speeds since they’re mostly good at moving forward only.” At least Foxglove knew something of the Bebe’s, it reminded her of Rescue Ranger lessons in defeating robotic antagonists armed with bananas. It was a really weird lesson, but a highly informative one nonetheless. Thankfully the robots didn’t have bananas.
“Can we do this another time Kuno?” Ranma shouted out to the guy in the hopes that he would not have the robots attack everyone.
“No, you have gathered you’re armies and now I have my own, attack them my warriors!” Kuno Tatewaki pointed his wooden sword forward towards the shrinking mass of people, the robots started vibrating and then the mass of them shot forward at insane speeds.
Kuno Tatewaki was well known to the Martial Arts Police, which is why they started moving every civilian into the convention center while those who could fight stayed right where they were while the Martial Arts Police would always act as the final line of defense. As usual the Martial Arts Police were not capable of handling such powerful foes.
The present EDF soldiers started opening fire immediately as all the robots rushed forward at high speeds, their slightly futuristic weapons put quite a few holes in the Bebe Horde that was bearing down on them and they didn’t falter one bit. One in particular was a woman in some fancy army with a jetpack who crouched and pulled the trigger on her weapon as the first hundred or so robots were just about reached her. A flash of arcing lighting tore through the horde with one pull of the trigger. That person immediately took to the air and started firing hundreds of lasers beams down at the robots.
“I am Bebe.” One of the robots pronounced as it reached an average EDF soldier and was about to punch through his torso only to be sliced to pieces by a sword being wielded by Sailor Uranus.
“Yeah well, you’re just a hunk of junk now!” Ever since Sailor Uranus said screw it to Sailor Pluto and Sailor Moon she felt free to not stand around announcing her attacks like an idiot and just did them instead of doing a slow charge up while you’re enemies stood by waiting for you to do it. In this case she didn’t think the enemies were stupid enough to wait for them to get their acts in gear, she swung her glowing sword and fired a crescent beam of energy through a mass of robots. She proceeded to block another one preventing it from wrapping it’s extending arm around her.
A blast of energy erupted taking out another high speed Bebe from getting Uranus while she dealt with the one in front of her, Neptune was immediately by her side firing off blasts of energy from a mirror. It didn’t take long for Sailor Jupiter, Venus and Mars to join in as the magical artillery they were known for being.
Fluttershy shied away towards the convention center with Soft Echo and Foxglove. While Donnabelle took to the air and started flinging glowing razor edged halos at the robots, Bonnie was on the street dodging and shooting with the EDF soldiers who not only held their ground but managed to keep the Bebe’s at bay with their combined firepower alone and there were only about ten EDF people at the convention.
In the middle of the action was Hiei darting between robots and bullet at speeds faster than both could move. Kurama was using a whip made from the rose he had on him to keep them off the EDF soldiers. Kazuma was wielding a sword of pure energy to create some kind of vacuum hole before slashing at the air to send the robots flying back out of the vacuum as deadly projectiles. Even Yusuke had a talent for dealing with the robots as he fired massive amounts of small beams through them all in a shotgun blast.
Through all that Fluttershy noticed that one of the robots went down when it ran into a rock knocked into the air by an explosion. It fell over with a hole in its torso despite the rock not having much momentum, but it did have inertia on the other hoof. That caused a chain reaction among the other robots that fell and tripped while moving at high speeds as well causing a domino effect that would continue to work against the robots. It gave Fluttershy an idea that would definitely help with all this.
“Foxglove will you be safe here on your own? I can make things easier for everyone, without having to put myself in any great danger.” Looking to the cloudy sky, Fluttershy nodded to herself and dragged the cloud that she still had with her up into the air. “Come on Soft, I want to teach you something!”
“Where are you going?” In the middle of a battle no less, at least Foxglove thought she had a very good reason. Soft Echo haphazardly flapped her way into the air after her mother and actually managed to gain some altitude, she had obviously been practicing.
“To make it rain of course, they aren’t protected against inertia when they move fast! Though that doesn’t stop them entirely, it will give everyone fighting an advantage.” It was a good thing to Fluttershy and everyone involved that Drakken had never considered super speedy robots were weak against rain; they weren’t made of tough alien materials and were still proven to be quite destructible.
Flying high into the sky Fluttershy started performing a rain dance in the sky with a little help from Soft Echo, while everyone back on the ground was struggling to hold off the hundreds of killer robots that were set to attack innocent civilian and protector alike. This reminded her of what she did back on Rhizome. She still felt bad about having left behind two infirmed friends; she wished them well as she set about helping those who needed it.
Soft Echo was following in Fluttershy’s hoof steps by gathering clouds and sticking them into one really big one above the area, she didn’t like the unfriendly red eye things since her mother definitely didn’t. It seemed they were doing something like making a rainbow. Oh, that would be really neat! Rainbows were really pretty.
“Now jump on the cloud, like this.” Fluttershy had taken the last three minutes to build up this storm and she hoped it actually did something helpful. She leapt up and stomped all four of her hooves down on the cloud and Soft Echo followed playful by bouncing around on top of the soft fluffy clouds.
Below them the clouds started rumbling, but it didn’t sprinkle any rain. They were soon joined by a purple puppy that looked at them with an eye raised and it took her a moment to figure out what they were doing, she smiled slightly and started gathering angelic energy to cool down the clouds and then she started striking the fluffy mass alongside them.
“Can you tell me what we’re exactly doing this?” Donna yelled, as eight hooves and four paws slammed into the cloud at the same time.
“You’ll see!” It was Fluttershy’s only answer as she was trying to concentrate on getting a storm started.

“Darn these guys are coming at us fast, do you guys have any support coming or what?” Bonnie dodged around another high speed extending fist and shot the head off a Bebe robot, her reflexes barely gave her an edge against these things.
“Ten minutes!” An EDF soldier with an antenna poking up from his backpack said as he littered the streets with explosives that fired shrapnel, it was quite effective in dealing with the robots that ran through the area.
“Yeah, we’re not going to last that long, they’re pressuring us with numbers and those numbers are built like...” Suddenly it started raining and the hundreds of rushing Bebe’s started to disintegrate before Bonnie’s eyes, she looked towards the sky and saw Fluttershy pushing more and more clouds together above the convention center with help from Donna and Soft Echo. “Never mind, we’re good.”
The Bebe’s further back slowed down and looked to the sky. They continued their advance, but their super speed was now useless and without their ability to close distance at insane speeds they were being destroyed much more easily by the ranged offensive leveled against them.
“Let’s show them who we are, everyone will know our names!” Bonnie led the charge, the EDF soldiers took it to the Bebe’s with extreme prejudice as several of them had been badly injured already by the high speed machines. The Spirit Detective League was already cutting a huge swath through the robots and it only got that much better when the rain really started pouring.
Fluttershy flew down to the ground and landed next to the Martial Arts Police who were getting the injured EDF soldiers to safety and the Calvary arrived swiftly as several EDF gunships started dropping cluster bombs over the horde, they swerved around and dropped off several heavily armored soldiers with Gatling cannons in front of the convention building.
“It’s just another day.”With a sigh Fluttershy flew down to the nearest injured person and pulled out the maximum tomato, she was willing to take the role of medic again and Finder was quite useful as a nurse since he had arrived at her side with a medical kit. She would be busy medically aiding the stalwart heroes of the EDF who never backed down against any odds unless it was completely necessary.
It wouldn’t be long before Ranma got to Kuno and beat him into submission for all of this after saving the guys life when the robots finally decided to turn on him for poor leadership; victory was a foregone conclusion at that point.
