Celestia and Luna were at their council chamber sitting at the round table where Chrysalis will meet them in. They did not like this one bit, but they are determined to know of the changeling queen is responsible for the disappearance of some of their soldiers who were sent to investigate Link's vision. Princess Cadence and her husband, Shining Armor, also were present for this meeting, after all, they both play an important part in Equestria's royalty too.
After waiting for thirty minutes, there was the almighty, queen Chrysalis, looking evil and devious as ever. She had too Changeling bodyguards with her in case something goes wrong "Princess Celestia and Luna. It is so wonderful to see you again. And princess Cadence and Shining Armor, what a surprise." She said, sounding like she was trying to be nice to them, but she could just be sarcastic with that tone of voice.
Celestia and Luna didn't really say anything back to her in response to her greeting, but the oldest sister flatly said "have a seat Chrysalis." The queen of Changelings smile grew a little flat and slowly walked up to the table and slowly sat in the table. Once again, it was silent and no pony said a word for at least a few minutes. "I received your letter." Said Chrysalis. "I probably know why I am called here. I can possibly assure you that I have done nothing wrong."
"Really? Because so,etching had to do with you." Said Shining rudely
"Peace, Shining." Said Celestia. She turned her attention to the queen now. "Chrysalis, I might have told you about Captain Thunder Hooves and his troupe disappearing out of nowhere. They were right near their your home and we decided to look into that."
"Now, why would you do that." Said Chrysalis.
Celestia and Luna didn't want to give away Link or his identity, for they might out him on grave danger. Also, they haven't introduced him to Cadence or Shining Armor just yet, for they didn't want to confuse them. "Well.... A friend of ours, told me he had a vision with you and the changelings trying to take over his homeland." Was all Celestia answered to her,
"What friend could you possibly be talking about?" Chrysalis asked.
"It's.... Complicated." Said Luna firmly. "He came from another world and is quite new to Equestria."
"Really, can I introduce myself to him?" Chrysalis asked in mock politeness.
"No!" Celestia yelled. Realizing what she just did she covered her mouth, and said in a more gentle voice "I mean.... He is quite.... Shy and timid. Besides he just got here a number of days ago."
"Oh, I understand." Said Chrysalis. "I couldn't possibly be rude to just pull him over to me to introduce myself." She gave a small chuckle and cleared her throat. "Now, whatever vision this.... Creature might think he has, I can assure you that they are not real. I would never do that to anypony or creature."
The four in the room lifted one eyebrow in doubt, feeling white skeptical.
"Remember when you tried to take over Equestria by posing as Cadence and suck love out of me?" Said Shining
"Oh, Shining sweetie, that was another time. That was bad Chrysalis, now I have changed. My sincere apologies for that."
They all of course were not very convinced. The changeling queen is a good liar after all.
"Do you promise that you weren't behind Captain Thunder Hooves and his soldiers disappearance?" Asked Luna suspiciously
"Of course I do. It is a changeling code to never tell a lie or break a promise." Chrysalis replied. "Perhaps I can assist you with this little problem."
The three looked at Celestia with shock.
It was silent before Celestia finally said "very well" in a hesitant voice.
"What?!" The three exclaimed
"WHAT?!?" Exclaimed a male voice out of nowhere. A magic cloud poofed out of nowhere, and their was Discord, the master of chaos. "Celestia, you cannot be serious letting this.... Parasite help you find you missing troupe."
"Oh great, the annoying magical waste of space is here." Said Chrysalis under her breath
"I heard that you ugly, putrid insect!" Discord yelled at her
"How dare you" Chrysalis and Discord glared at eachother while gritting their teeth and pushing their faces to eachother.
"Enough!" Celestia ordered."Discord, just listen to me. I will make sure she will not trick us again."
The master of chaos was skeptical, but decided to just listen in anyway.
"Now. Of you really wanted to help us, you will look for the, yourself, and report to us if you find the, again. I promise you that if you are lying and behind it, I shall send you to the fiery pits of Tartarus." Celestia threatened
"That is awfully quick to judgement Celestia." Said Chrysalis. "Very well, I will help you with this little problem of that is what you want."
"Good." Celestia replied flatly. "You may go now."
The changeling queen smiled and exited the castle with her two children as bodyguards right behind her. Now Celestia and the others were becoming really worried about this.
"Do you really think she is behind this?" Asked Luna to her sister.
"I do not know. If she is, then we got Twilight and the others to defeat her once again, including Link by their side. Oh! Speaking of which, Shining and Cadence, I want you to go to Ponyville and meet Link. He walks on two legs and wears green clothing with a sword and shield on his back."
"Sure, we would love to." Said Shining in a happy voice.
"Of course. I wonder what he will be like." Cadence added.
"Oh he is wonderful and very polite." Said Luna.
"Very well." Said Shining. "Good day to you your majesties." He bowed to them in respect for their royalty, and he left with his wife to Ponyville to meet the Hylian.
Link ate the last bite of the apple pie that Granny Smith made him at the farmhouse. He patted his tummy, and wiped his face with a napkin. "The pie was really good, ms. Smith." He said to her as a thank you
"Glad you enjoyed it." Granny Smith replied kindly to him. " I am the best apple pie maker in the town after all."
"I couldn't agree more." Link said. He slowly got up, and heard a dog barking. A brown and white Australian shepherd ran into the room, and saw Link. Her tail wagged very rapidly with happiness. "Oh, hello there, little fella." Link said to her on a nice voice.
The dog replied happily back to him in response. She jumped on Link's lap, and tried to get him a doggy kiss. Link laughed as he felt the Doug's tongue rubbing against his face while he was being held down against the floor.
"Winona!" Said Granny Smith. "Where are your manners, youngin'?" To Link she sounded like she was referring to the dog playfully attacking him. Immediately, the dog walked off of him so that he can get up from the floor. "Sorry about that, sonny. This is Winona, the family dog. She can be quite the happy type around visitors these days."
"That's okay, Granny Smith. I don't mind. I see a lot of dogs like that at home, and I would sometimes hold the, f they want me too. I guess I am just good with animals." He looked at Winona licking his leg, and he smiled at her.
"I can see that." Said Granny Smith giving a chuckle.
"Right, well, I might as well get inside the barn and tell my new friends about why I am here or how I got here. Would you like to come with me?"
"Well, I suppose I can." She replied. She followed Link outside and into the barn so that she, along with the other audience members can listen to the Hylian's tale. They both, with Winona behind the, went inside to find everypony and Spike all sitting on the floor. Applebloom, and her two best friends were sitting as well.
"There he is." Said Rainbow
"Hi Link." Said the three.
"Hello girls." Link replied to them politely. He looked around and saw that everyone was accounted for to hear his true tales of his adventures. "Alright well.... I see that everyone is all here." He cleared his throat and said "now, I might have told Twilight and her best friends about this, b probably not the rest of you. For those of you who didn't know, I came from a place called Hyrule, and I lived in a place called Ordon Village. I was just a normal stable boy who helped heard the goats in the ranch for my good friend Fado. The kids of the town looked up to me as their idol, and-" then Link stopped his narrating when he heard a voice call out in the interior
"Excuse me." Called a male voice. Everyone turned around, and saw Princess Cadence and Shining Armor. "We are looking for a creature named... Link. Princess Celestia and Luna wanted us to meet you in the flesh.
The hylian was a little suspicious. But since he heard that the two rulers sent them here, he decided to go down and introduce himself to these strangers. Everyone in Equestria must have a big curiosity when it comes to certain terms.
"Ah, so you are Link, correct?" Said Cadence
"Yeah." Link replied to her "And who are you?"
"I am princess Cadence, niece of Princess Celestia, princess of Love, and ruler of the Crystal Empire."
"I am Shining Armor, Twilight Sparkle's older brother, prince of love and co-ruler of the Crystal Empire. We are weds." He and a Cadence kissed eachother.
"Another princess?" Link thought to himself. Now he was getting the sense of déjà vu all of a sudden from this little pair.
"Well, nice to meet you." Link replied to him. "Not to be rude but, why are you here?"
"Well, I told you that Celestia and Luna wanted us to meet you, and they told us about your visions with the changelings." Shining answered
"Did you all talk with the queen?" Link asked.
"Oh yes. We just did not long ago today." Cadence answered. "She said she had nothing to do with the disappearance of Thunder Hooves and his battalion, but I do not know if we all really believe it. Chrysalis is very persuasive and manipulative."
"I heard that." Link responded. "What else did she say?"
"She said that she would help us with this little disappearance. I have no idea why, but she said that. It's a trick, an obvious trick."
"Also, she said she wanted to meet you for an unknown reason." Cadence added.
Link and the others were quite surprised to hear that. They all wondered why she would want to meet him. Possibly up to something no good they believe. "Why, what did she want from me?"
"I don't know, I didn't ask." Shining admitted. "But none of that. Celestia told us that you are the hero of your home?"
Link nodded a yes. "Indeed. An evil wizard named Ganondorf wanted to take control over Hyrule by force, but thanks to me, and a few allies, I stopped him. He was about unsheathe the Master Sword before he said "With THIS sword."
The married couple looked at it with amazement at the beauty ad. Structure of the blade.
"What kind of a sword is that?" Asked Cadence
"The Master Sword. The blade of Evil's bane. It alone could kill Ganondorf." Link answered "it is quite a weapon, isn't it?"
"Yeah, it looks really cool." Shining said in awe.
"Umm, excuse me, but I would really want to hear Link's true tales now." Rarity said
"Okay okay. Come one, I'll tell you about my adventures with the others." Link said
The two smiled and they both followed him to the center of the barn to also hear him out and what he has to narrate.
NOW that everyone is settled, I might as well tell you about the very beginning when I became 'The Hero of Twilight' in my home."
Now everyone, minus the Mane Six and Spike, became very confused by what he just said. It was just like when Twilight and her friends heard him say that title.
"Hero of Twilight? " Asked Bon Bon
""You mean you want to be Twilight's hero?" Lyra added
"Are you saying that you want to build a relationship with my little sister?" Said Shining, becoming very protective of her, like how a father or older brother would do for their little sister. Twilight looked slightly irritated and gave herself a small face hoof.
"No no no. Of course not." Link felt awkward again, as well as slightly intimidated by Shining Armor's small threat. "I mean the Twilight REALM in my home. Another world that connects to Hyrule."
Now the others were starting to understand. Dining became less protective after seeing the truth in Link's face and eyes, knowing he wasn't lying. "Oh okay." He said
"As I was saying, I was just a mere stable boy and everyone in my hometown of Ordon Village really respected me for the favors I do for them." Link told them about the some of the children and saved Colin for last. "Colin was a great kid, you would all love him. He idolized from me the most, sadly, Malo, Talo, and Beth would make fun of him be a use of his shyness. Apart from that, I was going as normal and happy as I can be, when a group of monsters called Bulblins abducted the kids and one of my friends Illia. I tried to stop them, but one of the creatures clobbered me on the back of the head." Now Link told them about what the creatures are in general and their pig-like steeds, along with King Bulblin and HIS steed. "They are not really evil." He said. They were a.... shady type of race that is mostly..... neutral. Many of them are allies in my world today, many were neutral, including their boss, and some were mean and evil." Now Link told them about Midna, his ally for helping him in his quest. He thought of whether he should tell them a out his wolf form, or keep it discrete from everyone else.
"Don't stop now!" Pinkie eagerly said. "What happened next, what happened next?"
Link didn't want to keep his new friends in waiting, but decided to tell them about his gift (besides being a chosen hero of the Triforce of Courage) "during the mater part of my quest, when i first got the Master Sword as my signature weapon, I have a.... gift to transform."
The crusaders were quite fascinated to hear that. "Oh oh! Like a demonic thing?" Scootaloo asked eagerly.
"Scootaloo." Twilight scolded.
"No no it's alright." Link said. "I'll show you. I promise you, I won't hurt you in this form. I promise." He took a breath and slowly touched the shadow crystal. He transformed into his work form in front of everypony. He worried that they would all be horrified by that.
However the crusaders exclaimed "Awesome!" In amazement. The others (Minus Spike, Fluttershy, Twilight, and their friends because they ready saw him like this) were also equally impressed and looked at his wolf form in awe.
"Oh my goodness Link. You... you look really cool." Said Lyra also amazed.
"Amazing." Said Bon Bon.
"I hope I didn't scare you." Link said to them.
"Don't worry, you didn't." Said Cadence.
"That is quite an awesome gift." Shining said. "I wish I can do that."
Link touched the shadow crystal again and turned back into a Hylian. Now he told them about the twilight race and Zant, the evil false king of the realm. He went on and on about his experiences and successful quests. Everypony and Spike were really fascinated by his experiences and greatly admired him for doing those kinds of tasks. Link told them all about the gods and goddesses of Hyrule, and the evil.creatures and monsters he encountered when he came all that way. Next were the people that were Hylian, Goron, and Zora. He also told them about Yeto and Yeta, the friendly yetis that would do a sled race with Link If He challenges them to do so. They a wished that they can see those races in person. The audience' favorite out of the races varied. Since every creature has different opinions. Next he told them about the land of Hyrule, the Snowpeak, Gerudo Desert, and many many more. His narrations continued for one hour and a few minutes, and told them about him killing Ganondorf, and how he came here.
Quite impressed and bewildered on how he just came to their home like that in a vortex or a portal. He was definitely someone who is not a pony or not from Equestria that they would live to spend d some time with.
"I hope I didn't bore you all to death with this." Link said to all of them
"No that is amazing!" Rainbow exclaimed "totally awesome."
"It sounded like you really did a really great thing for Hyrule, Link." Fluttershy added proudly.
"I guess Celestia was right about you." Said Cadence.
"Yeah, definitely one that deserves to be called a hero." Shining added in an intrigued voice. "You are one cool guy."
"Yeah!" The crusaders exclaimed cheerfully.
"Right. Well, i still have visions about the changelings and why I came here" said Link in a low spirit in his voice.
"Don't worry. Celestia is working on that. Remember?" Said Cadence
"Yeah. I know. I probably shouldn't worry about it just yet. Say, can I spend a little time with you and your husband, Princess?"
"You don't have to be so formal..you can just call me Cadence, and of course you can." She turned to her husband and asked "what do you think, darling?"
"Sure, Link. I would Iike to know more about you." Shining replied. Link smiled at his answer.
"Well, we hate to leave, but we really should get going." Said Lyra.
"Yeah, the mayor wants us for something." Bon Bon added
"That's fine. See you soon."
"Bye" they both said to him in unison before leaving the barn, walking back to Ponyville.
"I think we should get going to." Twilight said. "We all have lives too."
Spike and the other best friends added words of agreement. "Yeah, catch you on the flip side." Said Rainbow flying out of the building in ghetto speed of light.
"I'll see you later, Link." Fluttershy said to him.
"Okay, Fluttershy." Link replied before saying bye to her. Everypony and Spike walking with Twilight, returned to their normal lives. While Link, Cadence, and Shining went out on a walk to have a friendly talk with one another.
