Chapter 6- The Game

[Rainbow's POV]
At the school stadium

I sighed, as I looked at the clock. It was almost time for the game and everyone was anticipating for the win or lose, of Canterlot Academy. I felt like giving them a pep talk, to lift their spirits up, and give 'em more determination to reach our goal.

"Alright team, this is what we've been waiting for, the match against Cloudsdale High! They're our biggest rivals, but we have to make Canterlot Academy proud!! SO LETS GET OUT THERE AND WIN IT!!!" I cheered. The team cheered with me.

Soon enough we were announced, and ran into the arena to come face to face with Cloudsdale High's team and...their captain.

The captain was...Hoops. He stepped up and so did I. We shook hands, quite firmly if you ask me.

"Your goin' down Rainbow Crash!" Hoops said with a smirk.

"In history maybe" I smirked back, recalling that line I said during Junior Speedsters. He gritted his teeth, remembering the loss.

We went, back to our teams, and the match started..........

[Time skip, again idk how to describe soccer, sowy]

It was 9-9 one more score and we'd win! But then Hoops stole the ball from Rapidfire, and he was about to score! Even if I reached them in time there was no way even my Rainboom could stop the ball...unless.......never tried it before but it might be enough.

I ran as fast as my legs could carry me and then...

BOOM

…BOOM

The students nor teachers, knew what happened, heck, the team didn't know what happened, but then they saw the ball...in the other goal!!!

I created a Double Rainboom!!!! It was amazing! The people in the stands started cheering as loud as they could, even Cloudsdale High started cheering.

The team hoisted me up and we got a huge trophy. Photo Finish took a picture to go on the trophy wall, with the trophy, of course.

"Well Dash, looks like you did it again." Soarin said while walking up to me. "That's why I'm the captain, and not you Soar, some has to put you guys in your place." I smirked. He just chuckled.

The win was exhilarating it seemed.

Welp, on to the party!
