Ten minutes after the alien squad left the ship, Thunderbolt had to investigate the damage. The damage was pretty bad. She said "Those aliens are gonna pay for this!". Suddenly, a large shake attacks the ship. Thunderbolt comes to the ship's bow and sees the pillar rising up and reveals the mothership. "Holy hay." Applejack said. Thunderbolt storms into the control room and tells the operator "Aim Cannons 1 and 2 to the mothership, now!". The operator quickly tells the crew at Cannon 1 and 2. Cannon 1 and 2 were loaded and fired. The alien mothership didn't take a scratch. The mothership launches 3 missles and hits the bow of the ship, damaging Cannon 2. The operator tells Thunderbolt "Cannon 2 damaged, sir.". Thunderbolt says "Just keep Cannon 1 firing!". At that point, the mothership has sent 5 aircrafts to eliminate the ship. Thunderbolt says "Full speed ahead. Now.". Twilight and the others said "What?! Are you crazy? We're gonna die!". But Thunderbolt replies "I know. I'm gonna die, you're gonna die, they're gonna die. We're all gonna die." At that point, Thunderbolt orders "Release the anchor.". The others we're shocked. When the anchor hits the sea bed, Thunderbolt says "But it is not this day.". The ship turns to starboard, then Thunderbolt said "Aim the cannons to starboard and FIRE!". Twilight and the others were impressed of Thunderbolt's plan. "Whoa! Awesome plan you got there!" Rainbow Dash said. Then Thunderbolt and the Mane 6 goes to the machine gun station, joining the fight. They fired all they got. The pillar is destroyed and the forcefield is deactivated. The mothership takes a last thing, fires a row of bombs to hit the starboard side of the ship. Thunderbolt shouted "RELEASE ANCHOR AND MOVE NOW!". They did but the bombs hit the ship, destroying the starboard side. Threatened to sink, Thunderbolt orders the Mane 6 "Get off the ship, hurry before it's too late.". "What about ya, sugarcube?" Applejack replies. Thunderbolt said "I'll be fine don't worry.". The ship has survived a massive damage and the Mane 6 finds the sniper that Thunderbolt used to destroy an alien aircraft. Twilight said "I'll take those aliens out.". She aims through the scope and fires a bullet on the bridge window. The window breaks and the pilots were killed. Leaving Thunderbolt some time. She shouts "FIRE THE CANNONS NOW!". But the operator replies "All cannons except Cannon 1's last barrel is damaged sir.". Thunderbolt realizes they still have one shell left in Cannon 4. She says "We have to carry this now.". They help each other carrying the last shell to the first cannon. They loaded the cannon and fired it the core of the mothership. The mothership starts blowing up. The ship picks up the Mane 6 and runs back to the docks.
