The Dazzlings were defeated by The Rainbooms in The Battle of The Bands, the gems on their Siren necklaces that allows them to feed on the negative emotions of others have been shattered and as a result not only can they no longer sing really really good but also they have lost all their Siren powers, now they are just ordinary teenage girls.
Adagio Dazzle the leader of The Dazzlings after being booed off stage and having had food thrown at them told Sonata Dusk "I can't believe that we lost, we were so close to winning and we lost, first Starswirl The Bearded banishes us to this place one thousand years ago and then we once again get the chance to feed off both negativity and Equestrian magic at the same time we lose again and it's all your fault."
Sonata asked Adagio "Why are you blaming me Dagi, I mean Adagio?"
Adagio told her "Because every time something goes wrong it's always you're fault."
Aria Blaze told Adagio "I've been telling you for centuries that she's the worst."
Adagio told her "Well I guess that I should've listened."
Adagio and Aria then told Sonata at the same time "Sonata we don't want you in our group anymore, we're leaving town and don't you even think about following us, you stupid taco obsessed excuse for a Siren."
Adagio and Aria have insulted Sonata for centuries and it never really bothered her until now but now she was on the brink of tears.
Sonata asked her friends "But Dagi and Ari, I'm sorry for anything that I might have done please don't kick me out, please don't leave me."
Adagio and Aria told her "No our decision is final, you can stay here if you want but you're not allowed to come with us."
Sonata cried as she watched her two friends and former Sirens walk away and turn their backs on her but then said "Fine be that way, I don't need you either", but deep down she wanted to say please don't go.
