It has now been five years from the birth of Twilight, she was a kind fun loving girl, with a strong thirst for knowledge for everything. She had three true friends. Rarity, she had fair skin and long dark purple hair that curled at the end, her eye's were crystal blue and she was a year younger then Twilight at four. She was a magic wilder, though her heart belonged to crystals. She and Twilight could spend hours upon hours studying each and ever crystal they could get there hands on to see what they could do. They mostly study dazzlers, shimmers, and other more common ones, they didn't have a vary wide variety. So when though's were low they study magic, Twilight could pretty much do anything with her magic, Rarity didn't have as much magic but was vary good at magical tracing, and constructing armor, not the mention fabulous clothing. That mixed with her knowledge of the crystals made her incredible with not only with using crystals but finding them.
Another friend was Rainbow Blitz, was also five but a month younger, he had rainbow hair, and tan skin, his red eyes were like ruby's, and he didn't looked strong but don't let that fool you, plus he was the fastest with his wings. Twilight and Dash met by getting the same chore, which they still do together, working on the garden together, haling baskets of home grown food, picking and packing, and talking with a little sparing mixed in. Twilight always won, as speedy as Dash was Twilight was faster on her feet and more nimble, and that's without her wings and magic. When with Dash there is one rule, don't underestimate him. Dash is always training, he only got to Terra O this year after his family was kill by raiders, he feels that he failed them and will never do that again. So he trains, works, he even managed to get rid of his ego, but he also knows how to have fun.
Then there was Pinkie Pie, was the youngest at three. Everyone was Pinkie's friend. Though there was a hand full that was closer then others, and Twilight was one of though's people. Pinkie had a sixth sens, like telling when things would fall out of the sky, and other odd things but no one questioned it, it's just Pinkie Pie being Pinkie Pie. She is good with jokes and making people laugh, pulling things out of thin air and a natural shot. She once hit and apple in the giant tree that was taller then the three story building they all lived in, from the far end of the Terra. And lets not forget her party cannon. She had long curly pink hair that she kept in a pony tail, and rosy skin, and was surprisingly skinny for how many sweets she eats, and bubble gum pink eyes.
Twilight was even taking care of a baby dragon. The little guy was purple and green and walked on all four or twos if he wants. He can walk on two but is vary awkward. They called him Spike because is the green spikes that were along his spin. He couldn't talk but his face gave away what ever he thought. He and Twilight were bonded, a thing baby dragons do to tell there mothers from strangers when they hatch, they bond to the first they see, and Twilight was the one taking care of it, so it was her.
The little gaggle of friends were inseparable, but this day everything was going to change for them.
The four friends were out playing hide and seek with Cheeralie while Spike was flying around in the cloud line, when skimmers were heard over head. This was not good, because no Sky Knights come here, and they didn't have any them selves, and it would be a full airship if it were more children, or supply only recruiters for Cyclonia ever showed up, and they would love someone like the friends, they all have such promise, they could be great defenders, or the destroyers. "Twilight, Dash, Rarity, Pinkie this is the final hiding, if anyone finds you, bad things will happen." The four in fount of her though this to still be a game, so they cheered and ran off.
Cheeralie gathered the rest of the children in the house and prepared to hide them but it was too late, the door busted open and there stood the right hand of Master Cycloneia, The Dark Ace. He had dark blue hair, and wore black armor with the Cyclonian symbol, strapped to his back was a metal sword, a crystal weapon, with a red crystal, his eyes were a cold, soulless blue. His voice was just as chilling. "We heard there are some promising worriers here."
Twilight and her friends were hidden in the same room that this was taking place, the room with the tree's roots tangled above ground, they were under the thickest part, not vary many could get there but it could fit five easily. And they could see what is going on, non of them could believe that the Dark Ace is here, the words echoed in Twilight's mind and all of them came to the same conclusion, he was there for them. Miss. Cheeralie stood strong. "Like I'll tell you! Monster." That pissed Dark Ace off, he slapped her across the face, and she hit the floor with a loud thud. Rarity was watching in horror, Pinkie Pie was curled in the corner with her hair flat, and Dash was straining to keep Twilight from bursting from where they were, with the help of his wings, plus her biting his hand to keep himself from shouting
"How dare you use that tone with your superior! Now where are they?" Cheeralie stayed quiet, "fine, you search the place for anyone else, you take this children to the ship. I'll deal with her." the evil look his eyes sent shivers down all of there spins. When it was just Cheeralie and the Dark Ace, to there knowledge, he keeled down and looked her straight into her eyes.
"I know this is where Gail Hawks landed, so what happened?" Cheeralie looked away but her eyes went straight to a safe in the room, he saw it, walking over to it Cheeralie tried to tell him to stay away from it, but he already slashed off the door with his sword. Inside was papers, adoption sheets, drop off forms, birth certificate's. He pulled out the papers and looked through them, throwing away what he deemed useless, then he found what he was looking for. "So it was a girl, Twilight. Gail. Storm. What a sweet name. So I ask again where is the daughter of Lightning storm and Gail Hawk!" When Twilight heard though's words her whole body froze, her mind was a storm and the only thing clear was a old story, the story of the Storm Hawk's fall. Lightning Storm was slashed down, Twilight knew that she had some kind of connection to the Storm Hawk's, but was it possible that she was a the daughter of the leaders. When Cheeralie didn't answer The Dark Ace said "fine maybe you'll talk under a little more pressure." he haled her up to her feet and dragged her out of the room, while the four children were rooted where they hid, Pinkie didn't completely under stood what happened, just that a mean man took Cheeralie.
It was sundown when they finally left to see what happened there was nothing but the home they knew was mostly collapsed, and all there friends were gone, and Miss.Cheeralie was nowhere to be found. Spike flew up from the side of the Terra and straight into Twilight's arm's, he was scared, barley able to get away from the invaders, Blitz saved Twilight but failed the one that he was starting to see as a mother. Pinkie, still with flat hair, tried to get Blitz inside but instead he ran to the edge and screamed. A scream filled with all her pain, loss and, anger, it felt as though it made the vary earth shake, he yelled out in to the open air, "THIS is the last time I sit back and do nothing! Next time any of though's I care about are in danger, I WILL FIGHT!" he seamed to radiate with determination. Twilight walked up to him
"Next time we will all fight." It wasn't a yell or shout but it was just as loud.
Over the next few years things weren't all that easy, no more kids were sent there and no money or crystals, not to mention that they re-build there home but it was more like a club house. Some other kids from a near by Terra constantly came to mess with them but they stood strong, agents any one that tried to pull them apart. They each were good at something, Rarity was good with the little crystals they had, she made them do things that should be impossible for flashers, and rainbow dazzler's. Rainbow was a amazing strategist, any place any time he has the ideal plain, and with his constant training he got so fast he made a sonic boom, and when the light hit him it created a rainbow trail, they hid for a week after that from Cyclonyans search partys.
Pinkie Pie was an ace shot, she never missed, not to mention the party canon that she always has with her, which she pulls out of no where along with anything else they may need, strange but it's Pinkie that along with the pinkie sens which has more signals then ever, after Cheeralie was taken along with all the other kids, but she always found a way to smile.
That left Twilight, after what she found out that day changed her, for the better. After she learned about her true family and her mother and father, she vowed she would make her parents proud. She use to be more of a caring, fun loving, bookish, person but now she was a leader, the strength she still had a lot of fun and was a manger book worm, but she was letting a part of her out that was stronger and more open to thoughts around her. Now she trained, she could fly as fast as Rainbow, magic superior then anyone out there, wielding weapons was second nature to her, pre-planing and in combat plains were her specialty. Though she doesn't know it yet she was a Sky knight, but her crew was still incomplete, but when it was complete they will become great.

Years latter, Twilight is now 12, same as RB, Pinkie is 10, and Rarity at 11, and Spike they think is now 5 but vary smart and strong. They were now a well oiled machine, they knew each others strength's and weaknesses, and that this moment Twilight was running up to there home, with her brother next to her, behind her was three peddle skimmers being ridden by four Cyclonian wanna-be's. They were chasing Twilight up the hill when she yelled as a signal to her friends to start lock down,Twilight speed up and slide under the door with Spike close behind. The wanna-be's were pelted with dazzlers blinding them, and Pinkie was shooting small plungers at them with her toy crossbow. Rainbow was ready to fight. Over the years they all changed, body wise they were taller and kinda showed they were teenagers.
Clothes wise was different, when they were younger they would wear random things, they didn't care. Now though it was mostly things pieced together from the old ones, done by Rarity. Pinkie had had a pink shirt with sleeves that went to her elbows and three balloons stitched on the front, blue paints with brown patches on the knees, and runners. Rainbow Blitz still went by Blitz or RB, he had on a blue long sleeve shirt with red patches, dirt brown paints, and black runners and a lightning bolt pendant. Rarity had a blue thick sleeve tank top with brown patches around the waist, brown long gloves that went the her elbows, brown and blue leggings with a brown skirt, and a belt with small bags attached to it for crystals and other odds and ends, and to top it off, black ankle boots with a buckle. Twilight had on a blue T-shirt with purple trimming and brown on her sides, with long brown finger less gloves that went pas her elbows but there was a cut out on the elbows, leggings/paints and brown knee high boots, the shirt went went to her thy's, fitted then lose as the hips with a belt so it looked like a skirt. Twilight had extra padding in soft spots, and a necklace with a purple star on it.
Rarity and Twilight had wrist bands to cover there runes glow when using magic. Rainbow and Twilight enchanted there necklaces so that there wings wouldn't come out without them willingly calling on them.
A voice called from the other side of the door, "come on Twilight, you have to choose a side." what he meant was support the cyclonians, but Non in that house would hear any of it.
"We did chose a side, we are with the Sky Knights." Twilight pointed to a flag with the Storm Hawks label on it. two from three grope broke off to go around back. "Is everything closed?" she looked at everyone Rarity and Dash nodded but Pinkie had a look on her face Blitz looked at her.
"Pinkie what did you do?" The young girl looked at him scratching the back of his head.
"I forgot to close the back door."
Everyone groaned "Pinkie" Twilight just shook her head, Spike claimed onto her shoulders "I got it, just keep them back." she bolted around, only to meet a three bird men. They were whispering among themselves and shot looks at her, they kept saying if the other is sure, or has to be her and strange things like that. "Uh, who are you?" All three look at her, one was dressed in black and purple, another in blue and white, and the last in bright green and purple. All with there hoods up and capes.
"Ah who we are doesn't matter, but what were here for." the on in blue spoke first.
"Okay what are you here for?"
This time in was the one in black that spoke "We are here to give the daughter of the Storm Hawks her birth right." he handed her a cylinder container. When Twilight looked up they were gone, the two Cyclonian wanna-be's that broke of and came round the corner. Twilight easily over came the first guy but the second was another story, he was tall and strong with short blond hair and a cowboy hat, red, blue, and brown top with brown paints and boots, his name Applejack, or AJ. He got her in the head from behind.
When Twilight woke up she was in a cage surrounded by the rotten kids that were always trying to mess with them. "Well look who finally gave in." the leader grined at them, that pissed Twilight off.
"Gave in, ha, you got a cheep shot and that's all." AJ looked at the ground he didn't like what he did but it has to be for the best right?
"Whatever. The point is this Terra belongs to Cyclonia." They left laughing as Rarity turns to Twilight.
"What happened you should have had plenty of time to close the door but you didn't." Twilight told them about the strangers that she ran into, and showed them the case they gave her. Blitz was getting annoyed by the suspense.
"Well whats inside?"
"ya open it already." Pinkie said bouncing the best she could but she just kept hitting her head on the low top, but she ether didn't notice or didn't care.
Inside was a key to an airship, and a map through the Wasteland. "I think this is a map to the Elemental, they did say they were giving me my birth right. And what the Dark Ace said years ago, that my parents..." Twilight couldn't finish but Rarity got the picture, and excitement.
"OH MY GOSH! If the Elemental is your birth right then that means your a sky knight."
"She is? Ow!" Dash and Pinkie said together, jumping up and hitting there head.
***Cyclonia***
"Some kids said they captured Terra O for us capturing the inhabitants, sir." A low Cyclonian foot solder told the Dark Ace. He was about to yell at him he remembered that the one they were looking for years ago was still missing, could she be there?
"Send Snipe, but I want to meet the captives." with a salute he was gone,to carry out the order, leaving Dark Ace to his thoughts.
***Terra O***
The grope came back with triumphant looks on there faces. "Well guess what someone from Cyclonia is coming, that means we don't need you. hehe. AJ! Through them into the Wasteland." AJ's eyes went wide, but a glare kept her silent though not "loyal". She pushed the four to the edge as the others left, and when they were out of sight AJ stopped dead in her tracks.
"Whoo I though I actually had ta do it." They all looked at him "Mighty sorry but can't help you get away if they catch me." They all look at one another.
"Well we could use your help, we need to find something and it would be nice to have some one as strong as you on are team. So what do you say?" Twilight reached out her hand which AJ took without hesitation.
They Pinkie Rarity and AJ took some of the peddle skimmers as Dash and Twilight spread there wings AJ was surprised, Twilight explained that they didn't spread there gifts in case the Cyclonians got wind of it, "especially Twilight" Blitz mermered, there was no one in recorded history with the same ability's as her. Together they went into the Wasteland to find there ship The Elemental.
