Prologue
'This is it,' Sonata thought to herself. She stood in front of the portal that Twilight Sparkle had recently come through to stop Adagio's 'ingenious' plan to take over Canterlot High. The sky was as clear as could be with a light breeze. Little could be heard, and not a soul in sight; few decide to come to school during the weekend. Sonata looked up once more at the statue, then back down at the stone plate.
'It looks so ordinary,' Sonata continued to think, 'To think that this was what she came through to Equestria with, and it was here this whole time.'
She tried touching the statue, and her hand began to sink through the stone.
'It feels just like a pool of water,' she thought, shuddering, 'Kinda like the one that I got pushed in by Aria the other day.'
'Why do you ruin everything Sonata?!'
'It wasn't my fault, Aria. I swear!'
'Tell that to Adagio. I don't want to be the one to take the blame of losing 50 bucks, especially since it wasn't me. Bet you spent it tacos again.'
'No! I wouldn't! You lost it!'
'Well tough luck, because we know who Adagio likes more out of the two of us. You know who she'll believe. And you know there's nothing you can do about it.'
'But I didn't lose it!'
'Well too bad for you. And guess what? You're about lose your dignity too!'

'See you later loser! I guess I would Sonata wanna be you right now! Hahahaha!'
'It was horrible trying to get dried off', Sonata thought mindlessly, 'And Adagio didn't make my day any better.'
'YOU WHAT?!'
'I didn't do it swear!'
'Not from what I have heard. Apparently you decided that the best place use of our savings would be satisfy your stomach! You would go and buy tacos with our savings wouldn't you...'
'But I di...'
'SILENCE! I don't to hear another peep from you! All you do is ruin everything. In fact, we only needed you so we could try to take over this pathetic world, and you couldn't even do that right!'
'Bu...'
'I SAID SILENCE! I don't know if you realise, but we are struggling to live here as it is; never mind you holding us back. The only reason I keep you around is because you have a job to help pay for this dump.'
'I can agree on that one Adagio. I think we should take a bigger cut from her wages.'
'Not the worst idea to come out of your mouth Aria.'
'NO!'
'SILENCE!' That's it! Out! You'll sleep outside tonight!' I'll decide on your punishment overnight! I'll hear no more of this!'
'Adagio, I...'
'OUT!'
'That night I finally realized,' Sonata began to wrap up her thoughts, 'Realized I'm not wanted here. Nobody wants me. The humans here hate me. Everyone in Equestria hate me. Even my own kind hate me. I have to try to go back home, back to Equestria. I want a chance to make things right. Just one chance.'
She looked at the clock tower in the distance, showing the time of 12:58.
'When the bells ring I'm going through,' Sonata decided, 'And it'll finally be time for a change, time for a second chance, time for...'
Faint sounds of bells interrupted her thoughts
'It's time for a new life.'
She jumped head first into the portal with no remorse. Nothing holding her back; not anymore. The wild frenzy of colors was almost dazzling, making her head spin. Slowly, she could begin feel her body beginning to distort and change shape.
'It's happening! It's really happening!'
*SMASH*
'AAAAAAAAAAHHH!'
