~~Princess Celestia perspective~~
ponyville, possibly my favourite town in the whole of Equestria to visit anytime of the year, today was as normality could get, my beautiful sun is shining high in the sky, bathing the small town with its warm, caressing glow, the inhabitants here were peaceful and opening, especially after the Zecora incident, today me a my dearest sister Luna are taking a royal visit to the town, mainly to get Luna of the castle, for once.
we had already landed in the town center where we were greeted always by a big fanfare, flowers and gifts, being a ruler of a country may come with its perks, but sometimes it does become all a bit too much, as me and my sister walked down the main street of the market area whilst the stall owners let us sample their wares, my and sister shared our own thought through our telepathic link
"Isn't ponyville just wonderful around this time sister" I asked her
"Yes, thou could say that" she half-heartedly answered
"What is the matter dear sister that would revolve you to speak in the old ways?"
"sigh, it’s just that Equestria is not as lively as it used to be, it feels peaceful yes, but there not much excitement as I would have expected, being away for a thousand years can simply bore one's mind, and it’s not just that Tia"
"Nightmare moons thoughts again"
"...............yes..........."
"Sigh............." just as I was about to answer I felt a movement in the magical balance of the world strong, one I felt and remember from around ten minutes ago on our arrival here, a specific movement from a different realm
"Tia....did you feel something, in the magical balance? is that why you were mental meditation upon our journey here"
"Yes sister, I did, it’s getting stronger, and I know just what it is and for your information i'll have you know was...sleeping"
"thou really thinks so...right.... any who would thou care to indulge us on what said problem is?"
"You shall see dear sister, rather soon I might say, but first let’s make way to the center of town, it time for out speeches"
"Sigh........yes Tia"
"Lighten up....lulu"
"I thought you never she you would speak of that again!"
"you did, I didn't" with that final comment I closed the link and we both moved on wards to the town center where a stage had already been set up, me a Luna walked behind said stage with a the personal guards watching our backs as always, surprisingly the elements of harmony where there including my most prized student
"Princess!" exclaimed twilight as she bounded up to me
"Twilight my dear student, what a pleasant surprise" I answered her giddiness with a friendly muzzle
"You know I would never miss a chance to be with my mentor!"
"I know my favorite little bookworm" I answered jokingly
"And hello to you to girls" they all gave me their own respective greetings as the mayor popped her head round the corner
"Excuse me princes but it's time for your speech"
"Thank you mayor mare, come along sister"
So I, my sister and the elements made our way onto the stage and we were applauded by the rather large crowd
"always the ecstatic ones" I thought to myself whilst keeping my most calming smile on, Luna had her smile as well as the elements but I could tell my sisters was slightly forced, I raised my hoof to speech and crowd almost instantly quietened down, once there was silence I began my speech
"Ahem, thank you all my little ponies, both me and my sister appreciate all your work you've done, not just for but for the town and for yourselves......"
At that moment the magical level became so string I stopped speaking as i had to shut my eyes and raise a hoof to my throbbing head
"Princes is everything....." twilight didn't get to finish her sentence as a giant flash of light appeared above the town center accompanied by a strange snapping accompanied by a whirring noise
(A/N imagine the noise of a slip space jump/rupture from Halo, only smaller.. like a lot smaller)
I had to cover my eyes with a hoof from the brightness but once it disappeared, the whole town, the elements and my sister was watching a fairly large metallic like object that barely resembled a bird with smoke coming from its rear end, fly disturbingly close to the town, almost like it was crashing.....wait...
"It’s him, didn't expect that kind of entrance" I whispered to myself
"Sister, is this the disturbance you felt?"
"Disturbance?" questioned twilight
We were interrupted by a sound of metal hitting earth then almost immediately after a small stack of smoke started rising from where the object had crashed
"Guard" I called
"Yes you're highness"
“Have the mayor keep the town at ease whilst me the elements and my sister inspect the objects crash site"
"It shall be done" he bowed then he went on his way
"Ok my little ponies, let’s find out who this new visitor is" I spoke as my little group made way towards the crash site
~~Matrix perspective~~
Darkness, excruciating pain, numbness, deafness, the pain I’m feeling right now is nothing compared to what I have ever felt before but those experiences could still count, my brain feels clouded, dazed even but I’m thankful my helmet kept me alive or at least retained my heads normal shape
I try to open my eyes but they are clamped shut, that’s when I feel something isn't right, possession of my limbs slowly creep back into my grasp, my head feels damp as well as somewhere in my left leg, I gain enough strength to at least lift one of my arms, I run my hand against my helmet, it seems intact, but when I move my hand lower to my neck I feel some sort of fluid running down it as well as that I could taste it in the corner of my mouth, I must have hit my head pretty hard on impact, slowly I attempt to open my eyes again and this time they do but almost instantly they are flooded by brightness.
Unnatural brightness, my HUD visor not doing much to blank out the suns glare
my vision drifts towards my gloved hand and as I was almost correct before, It was covered in blood, my blood, I tried to shift my body and was shocked with excruciating pain, mainly in lower my left leg, I lazily looked down at my legs and I found the problem, a shard of metal was sticking out of my lower leg near the knee, surely it has pierced right through the bone from the force of the impact meaning that the plane had defiantly taken a fair amount of damage, as I tried to think of what to do next my hand falls upon the canopy release button
Get out of this coffin!
my mind was screaming at me, and so my hand pushed the button with what little will power I had and the canopy slowly popped open to my luck, but it almost jammed half way from open, I peered out of the craft and saw that I was right next to ground level, looks like I must have come in to hard and skidded quite a bit embedding myself into the dirt, just then as if on cue my hearing came back to me but at a price, my vision started to turn blurry, as well as I could feel more blood run down my face and out the corner of my mouth,
Manning up and ignoring the pain, I slowly pulled myself up and out of the wreck, and landed on the soft earth being careful not to injure myself further, I twisted my head round to see the damage with whatever sight I had left, and to my surprise the plane seemed pretty much intact, the jet had landed on a slope of a small hill which may have helped but still not a lot, I fumbled with the helmet straps and pulled of the thing, letting it roll to one side exposing myself to the gentle breeze and clear skies.
“well I’m sure as hell not in England anymore” I croaked as I slowly pushed myself along but my arms gave up on me as the pain became near unbearable, I just lay there waiting for something to happen, letting my thought’s take over
“What was that daydream, was it real? Could I really be where I think I am?” my train of thought was interrupted by voices in the distance, I tilted my head back slowly to see what was coming, but my sight kept getting worse and worse, from what little vision I had left I could make out possibly eight or so distinct shapes, to being taller than the other six, as they got closer they resulted to become nothing more than brightly colored blobs as my vision all but went, then it all went black and I was out like a light,
~~perspective 3rd person~~
“Sister look!” the alicorn of the night proclaimed with an extended hoof towards the foreign creature lying on the ground on its back, immediately the group quickly moved towards the prone subject and rather cautiously gathered round it, taking in the appearance of the foreign visitor.
“Wow…….what is it” asked pinkie
“I don’t know?” answered twilight, that’s when fluttershy noticed it head and leg
“Oh my, its injured badly, it needs medical attention urgently!” she gasped as the examined its injuries
“We can’t take it to the hospital it freak out everypony there, we could move it to my home and we could get a doctor for it there” suggested twilight
“Good quick thinking my student, I shall teleport you there and have a doctor come over a some as possible” and with that the princess teleported all of them into twilight's house
~~twilight's basement, half an hour later~~
“subject is measured 6 ft zero inches, is bipedal, dark brown mane no tail, dark blue/turquoise eyes, has claw like appendages on the ends of its fore arms and legs, from our magical scans its skeletal structure it shaped differently but the same bones apply in some places to ponies, its organs are the same also, its teeth are no different from equine except for the appearance of canines, possibly carnivore but also a vegetarian”
The doctor looked over the clipboard again and spoke out loud to the few that were present before clearing his throat
“The subject wears clothing, possibly from the fact it has no fur, as for the injuries, the lower left leg was impaled by a shard of metal just below the below the knee joint, this effectively has been removed and the subject should be back into walking condition in the next few days depending on healing speed and acceptance of healing magic, the head suffered only minor injuries, two to three small cuts against its forehead but should heal just fine, the helmet it wore saved it from further damage, from our magic scans again it seems this creature hosts no natural supply of magic we can detect although it brain activity shows that it has much intelligence”
“Thank you doctor that will all, you may return to your duties at the hospital”
“Yes princess” the doctor left the basement of the library that had been turned into a makeshift operating theater, leaving the three remaining ponies’ Celestia, Luna and twilight.
“This is such a fascinating creature princess! I can’t wait to study and learn from it!” the young unicorn squealed
“Just think of all the knowledge it holds and can teach us”
“ Hmm yes your right my student, but first ‘he’ must settle down first, especially after the trauma he’s been through”
“What do you mean by that dear sister?” questioned a puzzled looking Luna
“Yeah princess, what do you mean?”
“I’m sure he will tell you in time, but for now let him rest, he needs it, for now I suggest you get back to your friends dear twilight whilst me and my sister go and tend to see how the mayor is holding up about this whole ordeal”
“Okay princess” said twilight as she picked up the clipboard left by the doctor as all three filed out of the basement upstairs leaving the human to rest, little did they know the human himself was struggling in his unconsciousness.
~~matrix perspective~~
Where I am right now, I have no idea, I’m standing in a vast empty void almost the same as that daydream earlier, I still get that feeling of tranquility but there something else as well that’s unfamiliar, I feel like I’m being watched, that there’s someone or something creeping up on me, I cannot tell but whatever it was, I ran for it, I ran like hell in the opposite directing from when it came but the void seemed endless, no matter how fast i ran i managed to catch up with me, i tripped and fell over, i turned to whatever it was and held my arms up in front of me as the world went white
~~one hour later, 3rd person~~
“Well girls I better go check and see if our guest had made any progress in waking up” spoke twilight as she put down her empty mug of tea
“you sure about that egghead, for all we know it could be dangerous, even the doctor said it could be carni….carnivor…..gah whatever he said that word was!” exclaimed the over exaggerating Pegasus
“Rainbow does have ah point t’ere sugar cube”
“Thank girls but I’m pretty sure that whatever it is, it’s harmless” spoke the bookworm as she walked up to the basement door, entered then shut it behind her, quietly as she could she trotted down the stairs and moved up to the monitoring equipment that has been hooked up to the creature, she turned away to face the desk and look over some, papers unaware that the thing was waking up
~~in twilight's basement~~
Matrix’s eyes slowly opened, letting the light fill them at reasonable levels that wouldn't blind him, once he’d gotten used to the brightness despite his vision only slightly blurred but that didn't last long, he lifted his head up of the table he seemed to be lying on……….wait how was he lying on a table in the first place, that would come later, he lowered his head back down and tried to get a feel for his body.
luckily albeit slowly, control of his body came back into his grasp, he flexed his fingers and toes and slowly shifted his arms and legs to rid of the numbness, then carefully he sat himself up, he felt a tug on his chest; he looked down and saw the culprit some wires were attached to his chest, he a small amount of effort he yanked them of and then pondered where in the hell was he?
“Am in some special hospital room or something?”
He looked around the room to his left, some weird-ass looking machine that looked like it came from the seventies movies, but what threw him of was the surrounding, the walls were made of what appeared to be oak wood or some other type, the where one or two windows near the ceiling, probably a basement, just then his head throbbed from trying to process this new information, he moved a hand to his forehead and was surprised to find damp bandages wrapped around it, then he remembered his leg, looking down on the limb, he saw that it was bandaged too, Completely injury free, and the best thing………..no pain!
“what the………” was all he could say as he turned to other way and spotted a familiar purple…….unicorn, starring straight at him with curiosity and fear, so both of their natural instincts came into play, and that meant screaming
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH”
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH”
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH”

After that final outburst, matrix lost his balance from sitting at an awkward angle fall of the makeshift gurney, slamming his wounded head and leg on the floor, then good o'l pain visited again
“YAAAAAAAAAAAAAA’HHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, MOTHER OF FUUUUUUU” He never got to finish the sentence as the pain became too much for him to use his voice as pain filled tears started falling as he clutched his leg in agony, twilight on the other hand or hoof………had backed up on the other side of the room and was rapidly hyperventilating, she he just been startled by this new creature being awake all of a sudden and she had reacted in a way that would have reduced her to a mumbling foal, that is if she was one.
Then when she heard the pain filled cries coming the strange being, her brain switched on properly, she looked towards ‘him’ and saw that he was in a great deal of pain, her mind clicking into action that she must help him so she moved closer to him although slowly as not to surprise him any further, mat on the other hand looked up from his wounds to see her walking up to him, he instantly crawled away from her against the wall ignoring the pain emanating from his body, but still she moved closer
“Stay, back, you’re not real!” he exclaimed, twilight was inevitably shocked at this, he just spoke plain equestrian, he spoke there language, then when she processed what he actually said, her mind just went ‘wait, what?’
“How are you real, how is any of this real!” he spoke but he couldn't continue as his little crawling stunt caught up with him and now his leg was in total agony, but then all along his leg he felt something new, the pain instantly went away and was replaced by a tingly sensation that was almost relaxing, he looked up and noticed the ponies horn was alight with a pinkish hue as was his leg
“What did you just do?” he asked instantly his own brain still trying to confirm that this was indeed real
“I noticed you we’re in pain so I simply put a little magic spell on you to help ease the pain, it is working am I correct she stated with a tilt of her head, he nodded
“So this is real, I’m really here, that means…………..holy crap on a silver platter, I’m actually in Equestria, and I’m talking to the one and only twilight sparkle, hang on they have no idea who I am, better start acting like I don’t know them, god that could be bad”
“So where the hell in all that is holy am I” he asked her
“You’re in Equestria, on the planet Equis, why you sound as if you've never been here before?”
“That’s because I’m not even from this planet”
“………..hahahaha, that’s not even possible”
“I know it seems impossible and on my world it’s pretty much impossible to travel between worlds as well but by some miracle
I’m here” he honestly couldn't remember how he was even alive for that matter in all honesty he this was all a big mind fuck for him, as for that small talk with the princess in that dream state now it was completely absent from his memories
“I’m sorry, I still trying to rack my head around all this crap” she flinched at his use of language but pressed on what she going to say
“This is all awkward for me too, meeting a completely new species, a species from a new world that is” she chuckled and so did he, that’s when she noticed his sharp teeth again and slightly shuddered, he caught onto this asked her
“Erm you ok there?”
“Oh I’m sorry it’s just that we've noticed that have those sharp canines, you’re not a……….not a carnivore…………are you?” he froze at this question completely unsure of how to actually answer it without making her freak the fuck out, he thought for a second be replying
“erm……..yes I am, but I’m also a herbivore so I do eat veggies and fruits, as for meat I don’t eat ponies or anything else that has sentient knowledge, where I’m from its frowned upon to do so, so yeah I’m not gonna hurt you guys er ponies if that’s what you’re asking”
Twilight took a few seconds to take this in and apprehend what he just said, a small smile full of relief made its way across her face and she stepped forward bit more and held out her hoof to him
“I forgot to introduce myself, my name is twilight sparkle, personal protegee of princess Celestia and who or what are you?”
“wow, i'm literally trying so hard right now to keep my inner fan boy in, but they don’t know who or what I am and surely they won’t be expecting that I know who they are, better start acting inconspicuous”
“Pleasure to meet you twilight sparkle, my names matrix, human and top ace pilot”
“Human, I wonder where I've heard that word human before, doubt I would have any books about you’re kind”
“Heh, no need to worry, I can tell you all about us at a later date, depending if I’m staying here long enough”
Matrix suddenly shivered and held his arms together, that’s when he noticed this whole time he wasn't wearing any clothes…………except his boxers so his dignity was still somewhat intact
“Where, are my clothes?”
“Over there, would like me to get them”
“If you would please” he said through a shiver as twilight floated them over and he started putting on his clothes
“Erm miss twilight, where is my flight suit and helmet?”
"pardon?"
"the other clothing i 'was' wearing"
“Oh there just over there, you may want to get that ‘flight suit’ you said repaired, but don’t worry my good friends rarity works wonders with cloths”
“Don’t I know it” he thought as he tried to stand, only to fall on his ass
“Ow”
“Here let me help, try standing up again” he did so but didn't fall over again, that’s when he saw twilight's horn glowing with a
pink aura as it also enveloped him
“Thanks”
“You’re welcome”
“Well, what should we do now miss sparkle?”
“How about I traduce you to my friends, but be warned”
“Erm why?”
“You’ll understand when you meet them”
“Oooooooooooookay” and with the help of twilight he slowly managed to walk to the bottom of the stairs, when he was ready he ascended up with minor difficulty, one they reached the door twilight asked him to wait there whilst she went into the room, he waited for a few minutes before he heard twilight call for him, he grabbed the door handle and slightly ducked under the door frame and walked into the light of the library's
