Okay guys sorry for the really week long wait, I (we) finaly finished the second chap, i was on vaca, away from my story.
Anyway enough auther notes, have some reads!
Chapter 2
Twilight was steadfast writing a brand new report to Princess Celestia, until Rainbow dash crashed through the top room balcony. “Rainbow… not again, I thought you weren’t doing any new tricks today. You said that you were going to help Applejack with the orchards.”
“I was on my way, until that mailmare crashed into me… she thought I was a mailbox!” Rainbow answered annoyingly
“Give her a break Rainbow, you can’t blame Derpy for that sort of thing.”
“Well, I guess you’re right…”
“I usually am!” Twilight chuckled. “Now, go help Applejack like you said you were going to. I have to finish this letter to the Princess.”
And before she knew it Rainbow dusted herself off and darted out the window. Continueing with her letter, she was nearly finished but was interrupted by a small baby dragon’s loud belch of green flames.
“Hey Twilight!, It’s a letter from the Princess!”
“Hm? Alright bring it down here.”
Spike then proceeded from his plate of jewels downstairs. Then gave it to twilight who was sitting patiently at her writing desk, awaiting what ever noble words the letter may hold. She was nearly exploding with excitement when spike handed it to her. “Geez Twi, its just a letter…”
“I know spike, but it’s a letter from the princess, It has to be important.”
“Whatever you say…”
Twilight’s horn began to glow, at the same time a purple aura enveloped the scroll and unwrapped it.
Dear Twilight Sparkle,
Fourteen years ago you and the elements of harmony deafeated Discord… but alas we believed that discord was defeated once and for all. We were wrong, under my watchful eye I saw the signs, but I could do nothing to stop it. Discord is free once again, but this time he has disappeared beyond the everfree forest leaving no signs chaos behind. Everything seems normal, for now. My faithful student I wish to speak to you inpony, along with your friends, and bring the elements. I’ve sent my royal carriage to bring you here. I await your arrival.

“Oh my, Spike!” She yelled
“I’m… right…ow here twilight.”
“I need you to help me go find the girls, we may have another disaster on our hooves.”
“Alright then, I’ll go find Rarity, and Fluttershy.”
“Okay then, I’ll find the rest of them, I already know where Rainbow dash and Applejack are. I think Pinkie is playing with the cake’s babies again.”
With everything at the library in order, they both set out to find their friends. Twilight found Rainbow dash, breaking down a chicken coop with a sonic “atomic bomb”. Soon she found Applejack and Big Macintosh carrying a load of wood, nails, and
tools toward the used to be chicken coop.
“Well Howdy sugarcube, what’s seems ta be ther matter?”
“It’s the Princess, she’s asked to see us, she says that it’s about Disco-“
Big mac interrupted “Say no more Twilight, if it is from the Princess you need to go, now go on Sis and take yer friend who’s been eyein me all day with ya!”
“Thanks Big mac.” Applejack replied, hugging him simultaneously. “And also don’t act like ya don’t like her eyeballin ya, you know ya like it.” Grunting he carried off the supplies to the coop.
“Rainbow dash, ya can stop now we gotta go meet the princess!”
“Got it Aj, I’ll meet you both at the library!”
“Okay then! Let’s go find spike then we can go back to the library.”
The sound of babies giggling in the bakery was a sure sign that Pinkie pie is at the cakes this afternoon. Thankfully for spike getting Pinkie to go to the library was an task, and when he went to get fluttershy mentioning the princess and an urgent matter made it even easier. Rarity was a very different matter, turns out the fact that a princess needs her didn’t budge her. “I am really sorry darling, but I have a deadline for Fancypants, and when I’m done with that order I have a special dress for Sapphire shores!”
“But come on Rarity, it’s the Princess! She needs you guys to save the world… again!”
“Dear…” That word made spike turn red “- dear you are turning that delightful shade of red again.”
“Ugh… You already know I have a crush on you, why do you have to rub it in. And besides we’re getting off track… focus.”
“Right, well before anything else can happen I need to finish these two ord-“ Spike knowing he was pressed for time interrupted her.”Rearity, I don’t mean to interrupt you or anything but really we need to go to the library…”
“Well, if you’d ever be so kindly as to help me, the sooner I finish the sooner we can leave.”
Love struck with the idea, he graciously accepted to help her. The minutes droned on as their debate on whether a dress should ride on the flank or not, turned into a heated argument. Time and time again they would agree then disagree, until they finally reached certain conclusions for the dress. “Aha, idea! Why don’t we put a few sapphires around the flank and on the neck… right here.”
“I guess that could work. But this looks better here…”
Finished with her last dress Rarity and spike make a quick brake for the library. “Let’s hope that we did not miss anything.”
WHAAM!
They barged through the library’s door nearly knocking it off its hinges. “We’re here… guys, we can… now see… the Princess…”
“Where n’ tarnation ‘ave ya two been” Applejack questioned
“Where I always am darling, at my magnifique boutique. “ Rarity replied with a huff
“Now that we are all here, we can now see the Princess.” Twilight interjected
All six ponies started a trot to a royal carriage that was waiting for them in front of the town hall.
“Good afternoon sirs, shall we get going?”
The two royal pegasi replied with an agreeing huff. The Chariot immediately pulled away from the ground, inclining toward a high mountain that held the Royal city of Canterlot. Just about half-way through their flight the city of canterlot became more viewable… and more chaotic. Buildings were floating, some on fire, the streets covered in filth, and the city folk who were all usually clean, were raiding dumpster bins, toppling over statues, and raiding street vendors. All the ponies in the chariot where shocked at the sight. Rarity though seemed to take the shock more than the others, gasping, nearly “fainting”.
“Well it seems to be pretty obvious what the princess needs us to do now!” Yelled Rainbow dash
“We know that Discord is behind this, but the princess said that she has not told us everything that has happened.” Twilight replied.
“Come now Darling, Why would the princess choose now, of all times to tell us something that we didn’t know already? What could possibly be so important… I mean besides discord being free an all…”
“We’re gonna know soon ‘nough. We’re here… let’s go in quick y’all, ‘n see what our princess has ta say.” Applejack said leaving the chariot.
With everypony slowly filing out of the chariot, they began to quickly make their way into the confines of the now chaotic canterlot, hoping to find that their visit be made short, for every waning second the spend the forces of chaos continue to spread.
