Applejack took a step into the dark and mysterious room, and before she knew it, a filly was racing down her way. She wasn't mad at her……. she was smiling, smiling for the return of her sister.
"Sis!" screamed Applebloom as she gave her big sister a hug.
Applejack held her sister dearly. "Applebloom! I'm so sorry for everything I said, I didn't mean any of that."
Applebloom let to of Applejack and gave her a confused look. "Then why did you say it?"
"I'll explain it later, ok?"
"Ok."
Applejack walked towards her dear friends, happy to be reunited with them once again. She knew it wouldn't be easy to talk them, not after the way she had treated them when she was under that spell. Applejack took a deep breath attempting to calm her beating heart."I owe you all an apology so.....here it is. I'm mighty sorry to y'all, I didn't mean any of those words I said. I disrespected you and I feel so ashamed of myself. I-I don't deserve to call you friends, not after the way I acted." Applejack hung her head low in shame as she remembered the harsh words she had spoken.
Twilight walked up to Applejack and gave her a warm hug. "I forgive you. I'm guessing the pressure got to you?"
"Thanks Twilight but the reason I acted like that has nothin' to do with the pressure."
"Then, what is it?"
Applejack gulped."I was under a spell."
Twilight blinked her eyes in amusement, as her curiosity always got the best of her."Why would somepony do that? everypony important is captured by Chrysalis..."
"It was Chrysalis, she put the spell on me."
"But you tried to fight her at least, right?" asked Rarity.
"Well, not exactly..."
Spike could see that Applejack was having trouble speaking, so he had to make them stop asking her questions before her feelings got hurt. "It's glad to know that somepony missed me."
Twilight turned her head, her eyes widen and her mouth opened, but no noise came out.
Spike walked up to Twilight while he laughed. "Yeah, I missed you too little sister."
Twilight scoffed. "Since when did I become your little sister!?"
"Today." said Spike plainly.
Fluttershy noticed Discord on the doorway and ran to him. "Oh Discord, I'm so glad you're back!"
"So am I, I couldn't take another moment without seeing your beautiful eyes."
Fluttershy blushed and hid her face under her mane."That's so sweet, thanks."
Fluttershy took his paw into her hoof."Promise me you will never leave ever again."
"Anything for my lovely mare."
"Yuck, if they keep acting sappy I'll puke." muttered Rainbow with a disgusted look.
Rarity gave Rainbow a glare."Now, now Rainbow you must remember your manners."
Rainbow looked to the side while she muttered under her breath.
Spike walked up to Applejack, giving her a playful push."So, are you gonna tell them?"
"Oh, yeah, us." said Applejack with an embarrassed laugh.
"So..."
Applejack gave him a playful smirk. "Let them figure it out, I'll be a funny sight."
"You are so amazing." whispered Spike with a husky tone as he leaned forward.
Applejack fought the temptation to lean forward and placed a hoof at his chest."Not now, lover boy."
Spike gave her a pleading look.
Applejack giggled and leaned forward stopping before their lips touched. "I'll make it up to you."
"Promise?"
"Promise."
"Don't tell you're going to start acting all sappy too, Applejack." asked Rainbow with an annoyed look.
"I won't promise anything." replied Applejack as she eyed Spike with love.
"Aww, you two make such a cute couple!" Pinkie wiped off a tear of her eye. "I wish I had my camera." she groaned as she searched on a nearby bag.
Applejack looked at her friend with a curiosity. "Um, Pinkie where did you get that bag?"
"It's been here all along."said Pinkie with a giggle.
"Do you have a rope in there by any chance?"
"Let me see..." Pinkie searched through the bag taking out on the process a ball, apple, mirror, poster and a chainsaw. "Oh, here it is," Pinkie handed the rope to Applejack.
Applejack was frozen with amusement, why would Pinkie have a chainsaw in her bag? The less she knew, the better. She grabbed the rope and walked up to Twilight, a plan forming in her head. "Twilight, we better get moving now if we want to defeat Chrysalis."
Twilight nodded in agreement."Yes, we better hurry, there's not much time left."
"Discord, take Fluttershy, Applebloom and Rarity outside. Once you do, find everypony else and take them outside too." instructed Applejack with a stern tone.
"Come on, I know a shortcut close by." said Discord as he leaded them to one of the many dark halls.
"But it's dark and very scary."whispered Fluttershy with fear in her eyes.
Discord lifted her chin and looked into her eyes. "Don't worry, I won't let anything take you away from me."
Fluttershy took a deep breath and gave him a little nod. "Alright."
The rest followed Discord as he leaded them to a corridor. Applejack took a last glance at her sister and gave her an encouraging smile.
"What's next?" asked Rainbow.
"We look for Chrysalis. Once we find her Twilight, you'll distract her with some fancy magic spells. Rainbow, you'll fight the changelings head on. As for me and Spike, don't worry, we know what to do. Whatever you do, don't let her out of your sight."
"Got it." said Rainbow, ready for the fight.
"What about me?" asked Pinkie with her big smile.
"You're coming with me and Spike. Oh, and bring that bag with you too."
Pinkie stood up straight with a hoof on her forehead." Eye, eye captain."
"Spike, can you trace her smell?" asked Twilight.
"I'm a dragon, not a dog." stated Spike.
"Then there's no other choice, we'll have to search for her."said Twilight.

"Look at them, making plans to end me." Chrysalis sigh."Why don't we improve on it a bit?"
A nearby changeling spoke up "Good idea my queen."
"Lead them towards me, I'll do the rest."
"Yes, my queen." after bowing to his queen, the changeling walked out of the room.
Chrysalis looked outside, the moon was almost at its peak. Just a few more minutes and she'll be the most powerful creature in Equestria. No alicorn would be able to hurt her with her complete powers. She could almost taste victory, almost. "The first pony to suffer the consequences of my wrath will be that farm pony, and that useless thing they call dragon will have to bear the death of his love." Chrysalis chuckled. "They will all then bow down to their new queen, whenever they like it or not."
The doors to her throne opened and a changeling came into view. "The ponies are heading this way, my queen."
"Good work soldier, you may go now."
The changeling bowed to his queen and left the room.
"The time has come for a new generation to rise." said Chrysalis, her crown started to glow and slowly she too was glowing. The moon was now at its peak, her powers were back."For so long, I've been silent, but now they'll see…………. they'll all see!!!!!

Applejack's ear twitched, there was somepony or changeling near. "Stay close by, just in case there's a changeling nearby."
They started roaming the halls, for some reason Applejack was unsteady. Something felt wrong, and no matter how much she tried to ignore it she couldn't.
"Spike."Applejack called out.
Spike turned his head worried by her tone."What's wrong?"
"I don't know, but I have a really bad feeling about this."
"Don't worry, I'm here to protect you."
"What about you." Applejack looked into his eyes. "I don't want anything to happen to you either….. I can't lose you."
Spike smiled at her. "Don't worry, you won't...but don't leave me either."
"Never."
"Now that I think about it, you owe me two kisses."
"Two?! I thought it was just one." stated Applejack. "But, I'll be glad to take a bonus."
Their eyes locked, and in an instant, everything around them disappeared, it was just them. Spike leaned forward and kissed Applejack, and their kiss was passionate, yet sweet and harmonious. Time had stopped for both of them, and neither noticed the others staring until they pulled apart for air.
"Somepony was eager to get a kiss from me." teased Spike.
Applejack placed her head on his chest, hearing the beating of his heart soothing her. "I would be lying if I said I didn't."
Pinkie jumped up and down with excitement. "I knew it! You love Spike and Spike loves you!" Pinkie gasped."He's your special somepony, or is it somedragon?"
Twilight smiled at the couple. "Congrats, I knew you two would be perfect together."
"Yes, you two must love each other a lot. After everything I did to separate you two, somehow you still ended up together." Chrysalis spoke with venom in every word. "Tell me Spike, is she really the mare you love?"
Spike walked in front of Applejack for protection. "Yes, I love her with all my heart." said Spike confidently.
"What about Rarity?"
"She was a simple crush, and I didn't realize that Applejack was the one for me. I wish I could have seen that sooner!!"
Chrysalis laughed. "How romantic, I'm guessing this is your happily ever after."
"Enough talk Chrysalis, we came here to defeat you and that's exactly what we're going to do!" exclaimed Rainbow.
If you haven't noticed already, I'm more powerful than last time." explained Chrysalis.
"Yes, we have noticed, but it doesn't matter how powerful you are. The power of love will win and we will defeat you." said Twilight, raising her voice.
"No, it's you who will be defeated by ME!!" screamed Chrysalis as she shot Twilight with her horn.
Twilight quickly dodged it just in the nick of time and ran to a nearby boulder.
"Take cover!" yelled Rainbow as she flew to the ceiling.
The walls started to shake and slowly they started to crack. The situation only worsen by the minute as big chunks from the ceiling started to fall down. Applejack tried to stay close to Spike, but somehow she ended up alone.
Applejack started to panic, this was bad……... very, very bad. Her mind was only on one dragon; Spike. She had to find him, no……. she was going to find him. "Spike!! Spike!! Spike, please I can't lose you." Applejack vision started to get blurry, she wiped away the tears that poured down her eyes and walked around trying to find her way back.
"Spike!!" Applejack waited a while for a response but got none. She gave a loud sigh."Spike, please be safe."
After a while she stopped walking and rested her back on the wall, a distant noise echoed through the hall. Applejack's hopes renewed as she listened, as the steps getting louder and louder. "Spike?"
The steps stopped as she talked. "Applejack!" yelled Spike.
Spike embraced Applejack while nuzzling her. "I couldn't find you anywhere, what happened?! Do you know how worried sick I was! I thought Chrysalis had taken you or worse."
"I'm so sorry Spike, I didn't mean for you to get worried. I was right beside you and all of a sudden I ended up in a dark hall."
Spike comforted her by whispering how much he loved her and that he wouldn't let anything happen to her. "I will always be here for you."
"Me too."
Applejack was about to speak when a light appeared in the middle of the corridor. "You fell once, and now, you will fall twice."
Spike growled, he didn't want that creature near his love. She was going down one way or the other. "What do you want, Chrysalis?"
"Me, well I want many things……... like power, greatness, and possession of all the magic of the world. What me to go on?"
"Cut the act already, you're not fooling anyone." said Applejack.
"If I remember well enough, you were fooled by me." taunted Chrysalis.
"I was fooled by you, but it doesn't mean I'll be fooled again."
"Then, why are you here?" asked Chrysalis.
Applejack couldn't speak, she had promised herself that she wouldn't fall in any trap Chrysalis put on her way. She had failed once again.
Spike took a step forward and raised his voice."We are here to finish you off."
"Really? Well then, lets find out..."
Chrysalis smirked at them and turned out the lights, leaving them in total darkness. Slowly light started to light up the way toward a door.
"Let's get this over with." said Applejack.
Spike stopped Applejack from taking another step." Stay close to me, you never know what she'll do."
"Spike, if something happens-" Applejack was cut short by Spike.
"Don't say that Applejack." Spike placed a claw on her cheek looking directly into her eyes. "I love you."
"I love you too." whispered Applejack.
They made their way towards the doors, Applejack's heart beating against her chest. This was it, they were going to end this nightmare together.
