Chatting With Celestia

Twilight lights up her horn with her magic, creating a collar around Chryssalis. "Come on, lets get you to Celestia so I can come back to Dash."

Dash flies down the stairs. "Wait I'm not coming with you?"

"No I'm afraid it will be too boring for you, and you'll end up just causing more trouble."

“Oh no you don’t!” She said flying up in her face. “You're not grounding me just because I look like a filly.”

"I'm not grounding you because you're physically a filly now, i'm grounding you because im afraid it will be too boring on the train now. And things break when you get bored Rainbow Dash."

“I’m going Twi.” She said narrowing her eyes.

"Fine, you can come, but bring something to do PLEASE?" Twilight begged.

“You worry too much Twi.” Dash said rolling her eyes. She flew over to a bookshelf, grabbing a Daring Do book. Twilight simply smiled.

"Do you want me to hold it so you can fly?"

“Will you stop babying me?” Dash asked, giving her an annoyed glare.

"Dash, im not trying to baby you, but you're already having difficulty flying with that book, i'm Just trying to help you get through this."

"Heh Shrimp." Chryssalis Muttered, giving a light chuckle.

"Shut it, no one asked you." Twilight said, tugging on the collar.

"Do you think you can do it Dash?"

“Of course I can, i’m awesome.” She said with a confident smirk.

"Alright, but if you get tired, just give me the book alright?" Twilight asked with concern.

“I’ll be fine egghead.” She said rolling her eyes, flying over to the door. Twilight levitates it open, hauling Chrysalis short behind. Twilight quickly gets the three through town without much problem, and gets the train tickets.

"1 adult, 2 children." Twilight asks. The ticket vendor breaks off tickets as Twilight gives him 4 bits. Then they head off to the train.

Chryssalis sighed, tugging on the leash, hugging a bit. “This is humiliating..” She complained.

"Should have thought of that before you decided to invade Canterlot, bug." Twilight spat, leading Dash and Chryssalis onto the train.

Chryssalis just hissed at her, sitting down as far away from her as the leash would allow.

Twilight looked over at Dash, she was already and happily reading a Daring Do. She trotted over to Dash, after making sure the leash held Chryssalis in place, She pulled Dash's blanket out of her bag, and draped it over Dash's back.

“Did you really bring the blanket?” Dash asked groaning a bit.

"Yeah, I didn't know if you'd want it. With your tendency to fall asleep and all, seeing as it is a 3 hour trip." Twilight shrugged.

“Well..thanks..” She said, giving Twi a tiny smile.

"Dash, before you get too engrossed into the book, can I say something?" Twilight asked.

“Yeah, what?”

"I know you're not used to being a filly again, just like i'm not used to being a mother, but i'm seriously trying my best ok? I just want to make sure you have everything you will need." Twilight said, sincerely.

“Twi..I..” Dash said, not sure how to respond. “Thanks...it means a lot..” She said before diving into the book, forgetting about her confusing emotions for now.

Twilight smiled, happy that she got it off her chest.

“Finally.” Dash said getting up from her sprawled out position. Train rides had been boring before but now it was just unbearable.

"All ready to go Dashie?" Twilight asked, pulling Chryssalis.

“Sweet Celestia yes!” Dash shouted, grabbing her book, flying over to the door. She zipped outside the train, glad to be out of the cramp space and into open air.

"Dashie? Really?" Chryssalis huffed.

“You shut your mouth bug!” She snapped, glaring at Chrysalis.

"Rainbow Dash!" Twilight calls.

Dash just glared at Chrysalis, saying nothing else.

"Dash, just leave the discipline to Princess Celestia or I please." Twilight says, finally having come to the castle.

"So Twilight, what have you come all the way to Canterlot for?" Celestia asked. Twilight tugged Chrysalis into the sun, making her visible.

"Is that... Chryssalis?" Celestia asks, chuckling a small bit. She regains her composure quickly.

“Laugh it up sunbutt.” Chryssalis said, hissing a bit. “The father will have his vengeance soon.”

“The father..? You mean Typhon don’t you?” Celestia asked, a frown on her face.

"Typhon? I've never read anything about him in any of the books."

"Thats because he was before the time of recorded history. In a way, he is a god...and...someone we hurt very dearly.” Celestia said, a sorrowful look in her eyes.

“Yes explain Celestia, tell dear Twilight about how your precious ponies murdered Echidna.” Chrysalis said, hate and ice in her voice.

"SILENCE!" Celestia boomed, using the royal canterlot voice. She began to speak.

“Long before the tribes were unified, lived a pair of beings called Typhon and Echidna. From them came many of the races we know today: dragons, griffins, changelings, minotaurs, chimera, manticores, cockatrices and many more. The ponies at the time grew fearful of what they would sire next and so..” She said taking a deep breath,” They snuck into their den at night and killed Echidna. They trapped Typhon inside and there he has been...mourning his lover to this day.”

"I believe Typhon is the only being capable of taking away Chrysalis' powers so easily. This is not good." Celestia muttered to herself.

"What do we do Celestia?" Twilight asked, still shaking a bit from the use of the royal voice.

"Get the Elements Twilight, it may be our only protection against Typhon." Celestia said.

"There's a little problem with that princess." Twilight replied.

"And that would be?"

“I’m kinda stuck as a filly!" Dash whined.

"Yeah, without Rainbow Dash being able to wield the Element of Loyalty, the elements are useless." Twilight said.

“Not like the elements would work anyway.” Discord said popping into existence behind Celestia, picking his teeth with a claw. “Father is much too powerful for them.”

"There has to be something to stop him." Twilight whined.

“You could try, I don’t know..apologizing?”

"After a couple Millennia, I highly doubt that will work." Celestia mentioned.

“That does beg the question sunbutt..why didn’t you do so sooner?” He asked, getting in her face.

"Because...." Celestia stuttered. "It would have threatened the lives of my little ponies."

“Apologizing would somehow hurt them?” He asked very angry.

"I still don't believe he would have just forgiven us. And I couldn't have allowed the chance that he would take us as well."

“I don’t believe you.” Discord said staring into her eyes. “ I think you refuse to admit that your ponies did anything wrong.”

"I... I..." Celestia stuttered.

“Just as I thought, you're such a hypocrite.” He said with a sneer. He disappeared.

"Celestia?" Twilight asked.

"Just Go Twilight." Celestia moaned.

"But Celestia..."

"GOOOO!" Celestia said, using the Canterlot Royal Voice once again. Twilight and Rainbow shuffled out of the throne room into the hallway.

“I don’t like this Twi.” Dash said with a frown, looking up at Twilight.

"Me neither Dash, i've never seen Celestia this worried." Twilight said, wrapping a wing around Dash.

“I never thought i’d ever agree with Discord.”

"Me neither, reformed or not." Twilight replied, leading Dash back outside. Celestia's Sun is down, and all is dark.

“What are we gonna do Twi?” She asked, unconsciously pressing into the alicorn's side.

"What do you mean?" I ask Dash, holding her close.

“Discord said the elements won't work on Typhon.” She said looking down.

"I... I don't know. We need to tell the girls. Maybe together we can find a way."

“We still have to tell them that i’m me again.” She reminded her

"Oh yeah.. I almost forgot." Twilight said, the final train bell dinging, telling all that the final train of the night had just left.

“So now what?” She asked, letting out a yawn, rubbing her eyes.

"We could always stay at my parents, if you're willing for them to coddle you at how cute you are, and most likely compare you to me on cuteness when I was a filly." Twilight chuckled, imagining her parents coddling the once proud Rainbow Dash.

“Not like I have any better ideas..” She said, nodding her head, letting out another yawn.

"Come on my little filly, lets go to my parents." Twilight said, levitating Dash onto her back, as she trots through the streets of Canterlot.

“Don’t call me that.” She said, despite herself, she curled up on her back, nuzzling Twi’s neck. Within a few minutes she was asleep, snoring quietly.

Twilight giggled at the snoring Chromatic filly on my back.
