There is many reasons why I hate mornings, and number one is the sun. Yes the sun that glowing thing up in the sky. The one that warms the earth makes things liveable on mother earth. I hate in the mornings then it tries to wake me up, by forcing it´s, solar rays threw my eyelids. Yes, that is why I hate the sun, and it´s the reason I love winter, for sun is not there in the morning, only that nice white moon.
For that is what it´s trying to do right now, making me wake up with it´s stupid light, but I cannot for that stupid sleep dust seals my eyes. You know that disgusting yellow stuff you sometime find then you wake up.
“Oliver I thought I told you, keep those damned curtains shut in the morning.” I groan loudly but I don’t get a reply. “Oh yeah you probably already left haven’t you.” I murmur to myself.
Oh, well since he´s gone I better get up, and eat something I think. While trying to stretch my body and the cracking my fingers, which I can no longer fell and under my body fell something that is not my bed or any kind of bed I ever felt for that matter. I try move around to get a feel for that´s under me. It feels like dirt, but very hard and lose at the same time. With that, I force my eyes open to see there the fuck I am.
That I see around me is just dirt, very dark dirt. “Oh god dammit.” I yell, “What the fuck happened last night.”
Okay think brain that happened last. I begin moaning while trying to piece my memories back together again. Okay we were walking from the arcade, it was beginning to become dark and we were making our way home then. I stop thinking then I realize that had happened, and I just began screaming.
“God fucking dammit. I died seriously, I died and then I went to that void thing and now I’m here.” I scream while throwing a fit, by slamming my head in to the dirt. However, I stop then I begins to hurt a bit.
Well I should get up now and see if this is heaven or not. I try to stand up on my legs but I fell down immediately. Then I noticed something I should have seen earlier. At the end of that, I presumed to be my arms was something I did not expect to see there was no hands but instead there were hooves very black hooves. I also notice flapping next to my hooves it looked like cloth. I look down and see a zipper under my chin, and I realize I was still wearing my cloak.
Okay strange is still have my cloak, and it seems to have been refitted for my pony body. Nevertheless, something is off about my body, it isn’t that I´m a pony now. The problem is that my hooves are black, and it feels like I have something stuck to the side of my body, which conjure are wings. However, my OC isn´t black and it does not have wings. Its light brown and it’s a unicorn not a Pegasus.
I then start to grab the sleeves of the cloak and pull it back with the other hoof, I have no idea how it works but I still do. As I pull it back, I see that my leg is full of holes that goes right through it.
“I´m a changeling.” I chuckle at myself “Well could have been worse? I could have woken up as Sombra or as another villain from the show. Well I better go now and see that Equestria brings me in my supposed afterlife, see you later dirt it was nice to meet you, but I better leave now see you later.”
I begin standing up on all four and I start to walk out the circle of dirt I was laying in. Which to my surprise was easy as I, somehow knew how to work my legs right. I conclude that the world had filled my head with the information; I needed to use my new body. As I walk out the hole, I had made in the ground then I arrived. For then you go to Equestria there is one sure-fire way to arrive and what is by shooting star.
As I leave, the crater is see that there is another crater a few meters away from my own. I start to wonder what could have made it and I remember what if I was here and got sent here when the car hit me and also Oliver got hit by the car so it must be. After coming to that realization I begin or what ever it´s called then pony´s runs fast. Towards the other crater and I can see that there was something laying at the bottom of the crater. Then I got the one laying in the crater it was not my, neither in his human or pony OC form, but there laid a pony, a pony unicorn with a grey coat, a black mane and silver armor on his chest and legs. But, most peculiar thing was his horn it was black and red, it was bend and straight spiral like a normal unicorn horn and finally his cutie mark, it was a black crystal. This was not my friend but King Sombra King of Darkness. Then I thought about maybe it was my friend, but in the body of Sombra. Which sounded very believable for I was a Changeling another from the show it would be possible that he would also be one. For waking up in Equestria as the most hated things in the world is so much fun, THANKS OBAMA. Well that´s enough goofing around for now. So I begin nudging and calling out to to see if he was my friend.
"Hey Oliver, wake up, wake up buddy, I said wake up!"
"Huh oh Black just 5 more minutes."
I begin trailing my hoof down my face in sheer annoyance however, I am relived "Thank Christ it´s you Oliver you had me worried there for second. Now get up i think we have a minor problem on our hooves."
"What do you mean? Thank Christ it´s me and what kind of proble-"
He immediately stop talking then he sees me. His eyes are fully open as they continue to stare directly at me. His mouth is slowly opening as he was about to say something, but he then began to scream on full cylinders he was trying to get away by backing away from with no luck at all.
"Oliver please calm down man." I yell " It´s me Black you know your best friend."
"Jesus man is that really what happened, and why are you a... Changeling?" He replies after having calmed himself down.
"Well I could ask you the same question. Why are you in Sombra´s body?"
he blink´s his eye and begins to look at his new body with intrigue and after sometime he answer "Damn I`m really in his body aren't I."
"yes you are." I reply back "But there are some differences. For one you don´t have his cape and crown so i guess you aren't king anymore, two your eyes are normal they aren't green and that purple stuff isn't coming of them."
"Really that´s good it make me seem less evil and Black your Changeling body is also different from a normal one."
"How, different?" I ask him.
"Well." He says. "Your body is bigger almost the same size as mine, your horn is crooked like Chrysalis´s, not bend like mine. And your eye´s are like a normal pony´s not the normal full cyan that other Changeling has."
"So that color are they?"
"Oh they are yellow, like your old one´s with lenses." He answer. "Black now I have question for you. Are we really in?"
"Yes Oliver, we are in Equestria are you happy."
"Yes I am, but how did we get here? And why in these bodies?"
"Don`t you remember Oliver we got hit by the car and died."
"Died, what do you mean we died, FUUUU-" But before he could finish a black hoof got put in his mouth to stop him from screaming and yelling."
"No, no, no, do not start again if you do that I´m going to get a headache" I snarled angrily at him and then i took my hoof out of his mouth. "Now then as I was about to say. Yes of course our bodies died, that car was going at least 80 KM/H. And for how we got here. I guess after our original bodies died, our souls got placed in the void for temporary storage. Hey Oliver do you remember being in a place that was totally black and you couldn't move?"
"Yeah I do, but i thought I was in a coma and that place was a figment of my imagination. There were also a big bright light at some point."
"Okay, I think, I have a good of how we got here. So after we were in the void and got enveloped by the light. Someone took our souls and placed them in these new bodies, and i guess that somebody who did it was Discord."
"Why do you think he did it."
"Who else would and who else could do it, definitely not Celestia."
"Yeah your right. So now, what do we-"
"ATTENTION ENTIRE WORLD AND HEAR MY PROCLAMATION!"
Both me and Oliver shock both our heads then we hear the new voice suddenly appearing. The voice is familiar and as i listen to locate i find the voice coming from me.
"Hey Black, isn't that your ringtone."
"Yeah your right but how." I say as I begin searching for my phone in my coat. I find the pocket there my phone is in and i try to take it out but it falls on the ground. I try to use my hooves but i keep falling out of them.
"Black, why don't you try and pick it up with magic, that would probably work."
"Hee god idea Oliver. Why Did I Not think of that." I reply sarcastically. I begin concentrating try to think to get, it to levitate i begin to see a soft green and black glow, envelop my phone. While it does that it also begin to float of the ground towards me, stopping a few centimeters in-front of me still encased in my magic.
"So what did you get a message or is it 50 missed calls from mom." He laughs out loud.
"No it´s a text message and it says."
"Hope you enjoy your new life in Equestria.
- Yours Truly Discord."
"Well I guess your idea that Discord did it was right," he continued "So do you have any idea there we are at?"
"The Everfree Forest." I say. While still checking my coat to see if there was more things in it.
"What makes you so certain we are?"
"There else would would we be. We are bronies in Equestria there else would we appear but the Everfree Forest."
"Yeah your right about that. Huh what cliche really then you think about it." He looks up towards the sky "Could you not fly up and see there we are located and find out there Ponyville is."
I nod in approval of his idea and i begin to buzz my insect wings up to get off the ground. As a small buzzing start to appear I begin going up slowly but steady flying up towards the sky. I found it surprising that i had really good control over my wings, to be able to fly as steady as i did. It must been ingrained in my head like how, I was able to use my legs and magic with out any sort training before hand. As I pass the tree tops I can see the Everfree Castle right behind us, and as i turn around i can see Ponyville and a bit of smoke rising from from the forest a bit away from us.
"Well what can you up there!" Oliver yells at me.
"If you want the full report here it is!" I yell back at him "The Everfree Castle is right behind us, The way to Ponyville is a straight path. Travel time 1 to 2 hours at most, and to our left I can see some smoke which i can guess is Zecora´s hut, and that's all!" I begin going down again and land right next to Oliver.
"So Black, do you lead the way to Ponyville or what?"
"Yeah why not, so do we go now?"
"Yeah of course we go now. Oh and also could you check the clock and put on some music would you, while we walk."
I took put my phone again and said "8 in the morning and what kind of music would like to hear?"
"I don´t know, just go to music and hit random."
I hold my phone in front of me and use my hoof to navigate the menu's, it´s a bit difficult but i manage i go to music and hit random
"Oh yeah that´s what I´m talking about." Oliver says as he begins to bub his head to the music "Black now you can say it´s ADVENTURE TIME!"
With that I facehoof.
