Chapter 5
Harmoney and Chaos

It's been four weeks since Fluttershy had found Hope. Fluttershy has now grown fond of Hope, and now considers Hope her doughter. Hope has changed in the past few weeks. She has matured mentaly at an alarming rate much to everypony's surprise. Hopes brown hair is now long and fashiond in a way that is simalure to Fluttershy's. Hope can now speak in complete sentences. Fluttershy was overjoyed when she discovered this, even more so when Hope started calling her Mamashy. Her friends however didn't take to it well as they never heard the end of it. Pinkie Pie, Applejack and Rarity grew to love Hope like a sister. Applejack had gave Hope her old bed which she had when she was a faol, and gave her Applebloom's old toys. Pinkie Pie kept insisting that Hope should come over to visit her more often. Rarity had agreed to make Hope some clothes and has taken the role of teaching Hope how to be a proper lady. Hope had shown some magical ability one day when she used telekanesis to chuck a bowl of oatmeal at Rainbow Dash who happened to be clearing the sky that day. Twilight Sparkle was their to witniss the event and is now teaching Hope about the proper use of magic. Spike was more or less a big brother to Hope. Rainbow Dash likes Hope but tries to avoide her, as Hope likes to throw anything she's holding at her and has tried on numerus occasions to pull a feather off her wing when her back is turned. Fluttershy kept saying that Hope is only playing but Rainbow Dash thinks differently. And last but not least Angel Bunny, who had grown protective of Hope in the past weeks. Maybe even a bit too protective at times, like when he attacked Diamond Tearia and Silverspoon when they decided it would be fun to make fun of Hope because she's different. Since then Angel never left Hopes side. Hope has even learned the ability to grow angel wings at will in order to fly, though she isn't that good at it yet.
Fluttershy was walking to Rarity's carasel boutique to get Hope fitted for her clothes. Hope was on her back sitting down and looking all around with curiousity. Angel wasn't too far behind and kept a look out for any potential threats to Hope. Hope then pointed in front of her and asked....
"Whats that Mamashy" Hope was pointing towords the boutique which was just starting to come into sight.
"Thats Rarity's boutique Hope," Fluttershy said with a smile,"Thats where we are going to get you fitted for your clothes." Hope just giggled happily. Angel just rolled his eyes and kept hopping forword.
Fluttershy trotted up the front steps with Angel close behind and walked right through the front door. They were shortly greated by a white regal looking unicorn, who smiled when she saw them.
"Fluttershy, what brings you here darling." Rarity said.
"Hi Rarity, I'm here to get Hope fitted for some clothes, if your not that busy though." Fluttershy said sheepishly.
"Ah yes the little one. I was wondering when you would bring her in." Rarity said as she looked at Hope. "Come now dear we need to get you some nice clothes." She ushered Fluttershy into the next room and magiced a some measuring tape into thin air. Hope was nervisly looking for a way out when she saw the look of exitement on Rarity's face. Once done measering Hope she started to make smalltalk with Fluttershy.
"So Fluttershy how is everyting with the little darling."
"Oh ummm....well Hope is fine though she dosn't really get along with Rainbow Dash. Just the other day Hope threw a book titled Work Harder Not Smarter at her while she was resting on a cloud. As to why Hope would have a book like that is a mystery to me."
"I got it from aunti Twilight" Hope said.
"But you still need to apologize to Rainbow Dash for hurting her." Fluttershy said. Angel was laghing histaricly at that point. Hope blew some of her hair out of her eyes.
"She was supposed to work on the weather and I was only trying to help motivate her." Hope said.
"I don't think Rainbow Dash needed that kind of motivation sweetie." Rarity deadpanned. "Anyway I'm finished with the measurments and I need to work on the design, so you two can go now. The clothes won't be done for a few hours." Angel was wiping away tears at this moment and sighed and proceded to follow Fluttershy and Hope out of the boutique and into ponyville.
In the realm of the Deamonta, an angry Mooneater was walking back and forth in his throne room planing his next aproach on trying to get close to the child of harmoney.
"Why,why,why,why. Every week the same thing happens. No matter how many Eyegores I send out to spy on the child it always gets crushed by that stupid grey pegasus." Just then a shadow like figure came into the room.
"Then why not ssssssend me my lord. I General Kerosine can make sure the child is dead." Its voice rummbled through the temple as it spoke. Mooneater pondered for a bit and said.
"Very well Kerosine I will send you to kill the child." Mooneater raised his hand and sent a glowing orb directly at Kerosine who then dissapeared. "And don't fail me."
At the edge of the Everfree a shadow like figure apeared in a flash of blinding light. It looked around with its dead white eye's and growled.
"FOR THE GLORY OF THE DEAMONTA!" It roared as it started charging into ponyville.
Back at Sugercube Corner the local bakery. Fluttershy, Angel, and Hope were sitting down awaiting some ice-cream. Rainbow Dash was their having just joined them when Fluttershy insisted that she come with them.
"So Hope, I hear you have something you want to say to me." Rainbow Dash said with a smirk. Hope just huffed and said quickly.
"I'm sorry for throwing the book at you." Rainbow dash smiled with triumph while Fluttershy just smiled.
"Good job Hope, I'm glad you did the right thing." Pinkie pie said as she came bouncing towords them with four bowls of ice-cream balanced on her flank.
"Anyway, Fluttershy tells me you can sprout wings Hope." Rainbow Dash said.
"Yep,yep,yep aunti Dash. Just watch." Hope said as she started to concentrate. A pair of large white featherd wings erupted with a flash from her back. Rainbow Dash couldn't beleave her eye's and she stared at Hope. Hope just smiled and giggled as she made the wings disapeare.
"That has got to be the coolest thing I have ever seen." Rainbow Dash said. "If your ever in need of some training then just ask me okey Hope." Just then a loud crash was heard, followed by the sound of thundering footsteps and screaming. A light green unicorn with a harp for a cutie mark came crashing through the window screaming. Fluttershy squeaked and ran to the unicorn.
"Oh..my Lyra are you all right." Fluttershy asked.
"Do I look all right. I was busy walking through town with Bon Bon when a thirty foot high thing attacked us and the town. It kept raring and demanding something called the child of harmoney." Lyra said with a hint of fright on her voice. "Me and Bon Bon tried to get away but that thing grabed me with a thorny tentical and threw me half way across town." A loud metalic raor was heard in the distance followed by a loud "BOOM,BOOM,BOOM" that seamed to be getting closer. Fluttershy and Lyra hid behind the counter, while Pinkie Pie brought out her trademark CUPCAKE BAZOOKA and started loading it with explosive cupcakes. (the secrits in the frosting but I'll never tell.). Hope went and hid under the table as Angel took a defensive stance in front of her. Rainbow Dash was bracing herself to attack anything that might come crashing through the door. The thundering footsteps grew louder as the ground started to shake. Suddenly they stopped and a loud breathing was heard. A large pupiliss eye stared in through the broken window, while the thing made a loud rumbeling growl. There was a dead siliance save for the ocasional scream. Rainbow Dash just stared intently at the eye as she started to crouch down getting ready to pounce. Pinkie aimed the bazooka and waited. Angel was staring daggers at the eye while Hope was lying in the fetal position behind him. Lyra peeked out from behind the counter as Fluttershy started crawling toword Hope. Just then four thorny tenticals busted through the wall and proceded to rip it off. The wall came off with the sound of splintering wood as the creature sent it flying into another building. Now the monster was in full view. It's body was just an alligater head with twin scorpion tails compleate with foot long stingers, it's hind legs were huge and triple clawed. It's front legs were small and looked like hinged blades. On its back was four tenticals with thorns surounding them. It's skin was a sickly green color and it stood over thirty feet tall. It opened it's mouth reaveling loads of razer sharp foot long fangs.
"Give me the child or die like the scum that you are." The creature bellowed.
"I'll show you who's scum freak" Rainbow Dash fleww as fast as she could at the creature when a thorny tentical grabbed her and slamed her hard on the ground knocking her out. Pinkie Pie fired the bazooka but the cupcake didn't do much damige. The creature opened it's mouth and fired a beam of energy at her sending her flying through a wall.
"Foolish children, do you think you could best me General Kerosine of the Deamonta race. I'll skin you alive next time you do that."
"Wh..why do..y...you want t...to k...kill Hope." Fluttershy said as she hugged Hope closer to her.
"You don't know do you," Kerosine chuckled,"I guess I can tell you before I use your intrails to hang you on the wall." Fluttershy wimpered at this threat.
"That child you hold so close is none other than the child of Archangel Harmony and the human prince Chaos. That child is desteaned to bring about the extenction of the Deamonta race and must die before that comes to pass." Kerosine said as he took a step closer to Fluttershy. "I was sent here to kill the child and to sloughter anyone who dares to get in the way."
"I DON'T THINK SO!" A loud voice rang. Kerosine looked to the side as a ball of light came flying right at him cousing him to crash to the floor.
"Who dares challenge me!" Kerosine roared as he got back up.
"That would be me Princess Celestia." A white alicorn with a long, flowing, striped main and tail said as she landed in front of Angel who was still standing strong by the way, and Fluttershy who was busy trying to sheild Hope. Princess Celestia raised her wings defensivly as her horn glowed.
"I came down to see this child that Twilght wrote to me about, but instead I find carnage, ponies screaming in terror and a monster that has the nerve to rampage through ponyvile like he owns the place." Celestia said a hint of anger in her voice, "I will give you a warning, leave peacfuly or be sent back to whatever hole you came from by force." Kerosine chuckled.
"So you think you can beat me. Don't make me laugh I will slaughter every single one of you here just as me and my brothers did to the childs race. No one will be spared from the wrath of the Deamonta." Kerosine charged at Celestia but was shot by another ball of light. Kerosine was stunned for a second but quickly regained his composure.
"I wont ask again!" Celestia demanded. Kerosine knew he might not stand a chance against her and backed down. He raised his front blade like appendage and sliced a portal open and steped through.
"Your race has chosen death. I will return with my brothers and we will kill you all." Kerosine said as the portal closed.
Princess Celestia sighed and calmed herself down before turning to face Fluttershy. She bent over and loked at Hope who was busy burying her face into Fluttershy's chest out of fright.
"May I see this child Flutershy?" Celestia said calmley as Fluttershy let Hope go.
