Well it's good to be back. Sorry about the whole up and vanishing thing but, life gets the better of all of us right? So after much battle with writers block and several replaced pens I'm proud to bring you this. The continuation of TLahKiCA which is an Acronym for the title if you didn't know... Oh... um, Mr Director? Yes, Fluttershy? Well seeing as Twilight is Married to Max in another of your stories how will this alternate work out? That is a good question my kind yellow friend but, sadly all I can say is you'll see. Oh... alright. I'll get back on the set then. If that's okay with you. Of course go right ahead.
Two weeks after the Shift incident.
Our old friend Maximillion Fortner stood up to greet the day anew. He had recently been convinced into rooming with Twilight for 'Research'. He could tell that was just an excuse but, a room is a room. Strangely enough it was like whoever designed the homes and devices in Equestria had predicted this situation from the start. Everything had become so much simpler to deal with when you added hands to the mix. Lyra of course was completely ecstatic about her new found limbs and shape. Bon-Bon however was struggling with the fact that not only was her room-mate not crazy but, how she now found her more attractive.
Fluttershy had been visiting the Library every day at Twilight's request the same went for Pinkie Pie. This was because Twilight was trying to study the differences the Shift had on each of the four known Pony types and since Max was an Alicorn it made the task much easier. Sadly it seems the universe has some sort of Grudge against Ms. Sparkle, because as soon as she was close to the breakthrough she had been searching for the entire Library was surrounded by a circle of flames. Max quickly unhooked himself from the machine Twilight had him hooked into, and raced outside. (See the episode: Feeling Pinkie Keen for the exact machine.) "What the buck?" Max said as he saw what looked like a Man made from living fire floating in the air the circle of flames being held back by him.
"Hey don't just sit there! Get off your Flank and help me douse these fires! Ifrit can't hold them back forever you know!" The voice was obviously male yet there was nopony in sight. There was however a large humanoid bird holding what looked like a massive key staring at Max. The key was pointed towards the massive Fiery beast the bird man called Ifrit. Without a moment's hesitation Max gathered the girls from the Library and doused the fires. His task Accomplished Ifrit turned into a sphere of flames and entered the massive key the Bird-man held.
"Well that was a close one, Anypony injured?" The figure asked to the shocked crowd that had mysteriously gathered. All the Ponies in Ponyville had just watched this Stranger save the Library, and because of the fact the great tree would have given the fire enough room to spread, the whole town by extension. Pinkie Pie recovered from her shock just in time to realize the one thing she always does. He's NEW! "Oh my gosh! Your new! That means I have to throw a welcome to Ponyville party. Wait you also saved me and my friends so I'll have to throw you a thanks for being a hero party! WAIT! Your also a strange new type of friend so I'll have to throw a happy learning about a new species party! Oh we're gonna need balloons and streamers and cake and ice-mmph!" Twilight had finally had enough of Pinkie's mile a minute rant and placed her hand over Pinkie's mouth.
"Sorry about that sir. My name is Twilight Sparkle. These are my friends, Pinkie Pie, Maximillion, and Fluttershy." "Thanks for the assist." "Twilight did you know your hands taste like pop-rocks? Maybe that's what magic tastes like?" Pinkie giggled at the though before bouncing off to plan said triple threat party. Fluttershy however hadn't said a word since she saw the bird man. She finally spoke up in a tone Twilight hadn't hear her use since she arrived in Ponyville and saw Spike pure unbridled joy. "Oh my! Your a talking birdy! I've always wanted to talk with the birds on a deeper level. They understand me of course but, they can't speak the same language so I've never really known what's going on in their heads but, now I can!" Fluttershy had actually tackled the Bird Man to the ground and Twilight sat there speechless.
"Alright. There will be plenty of time for Questions about my mind later. For now I believe it's my turn to finish the introductions. I don't really know what my name is but, for the sake of a name call me Nova. I believe I was supposed to be a pony but, that is obviously not the case anymore. The race of Creature this form resembles is known as a Chocobo. They are flightless birds known for being able to run extremely fast and are often used as steeds for Knights." He showed off his knight training with a Sword swinging routine that could make even Celestia's personal guard jealous. "Sadly the hour is late and I believe I will need a place to stay for the moment. Would one of you be kind enough to point me to an Inn?" He asked politely.
He was obviously a knight from a foreign land but, if he was an enemy he wouldn't have saved the town. He could have easily have just let it burn and not become involved. While Twilight was busy digesting these thoughts she heard something she never thought she would hear ever. "You could stay with me? I have a spare bed and Angel would love the company." It wasn't what she said but, how she said it. There wasn't even the slightest hint of her shyness in that entire sentence even though she must have known how it looked. "Alright then. Lead the way Lady Fluttershy." Novas bowed before following Fluttershy down the street. Twilight casted a spell on him that would give him something to wear while he was in town as he had obviously not noticed he was naked. 
"Tomorrow is going to be a long day huh Max?" Twilight asked as the pair headed inside Spike had been sent to Canterlot on Celestia's orders until Max was able to move out. "Honestly Twilight... I'm slightly worried for our new friend. I believe he may not get much sleep tonight." When what Max said finally registered in her head Twilight's face turned a shade of red that would make an Apple look grey by comparison. "You don't think that she would?" Twilight asked surprised Couldn't you smell it? The young pegasus is in heat and the poor boy just happened to catch her fancy." At this logic Twilight could only nod. She had forgotten about the fact that heat was still a factor as they only had a difference in appearance their body's and minds still functioned the same way. With some minor changes to make up for different anatomy but, that was obvious.
Twilight stared up at the moon that had just reached the 9:00PM Mark. If the rumors about how Fluttershy got when she was in heat were true she may have to ask Pinkie Pie to change Nova's party from a welcome to Ponyville to a funeral.

It's official! I'm back with a vengeance! and it feels good! Oh my... I didn't know that was that famous... Wait what?! That was true? Um... yes. *She gave a sheepish smile and hit the fade out button.*
