Twilight Sparkle in the Pokémon World AKA Probably a Pretty Unoriginal Idea

Chapitre 1: Je Ne Parle Pas Français (AKA I don't speak french)

The morning in Ponyville shimmered. The morning in Ponyville shined. At Twilight Sparkle knew for absolute certain that everything was certainly fine.

And it was.

Rainbow Dash was clearing the clouds, Apple Jack was bucking apples, Fluttershy was playing with animals, and everything was normal. Twilight Sparkle woke up to this sense of serenity, and immediately she noticed it as she looked out the window.

"Wow," she said aloud. "Ponyville is just... normal. Nothing looks immediately wrong with it." With how frantic Ponyville was recently, the peacefulness was a huge breath of fresh air to her. Twilight trotted out of her room and down the stairs. However, she heard the sounds of metal tapping against each other coming from kitchen.

When Twilight entered the kitchen, she was greeted to Spike, in his chefs hat, mixing up ingredients, and he clearly didn't know what to do. "You're up early," Twilight noticed.

"Well, it's for a special occasion!" Spike answered.

"What occasion?" Twilight remembered in her schedules that nothing of utmost importance was today.

"I'll never tell. It's a surprise!" Spike cheered.

"Is it a surprise meeting with the Princess?" Twilight asked enthusiastically.

"Nope," Spike pushed on.

"Is it for a party?" Twilight questioned Spike. She really didn't know.

"Warmer..."

"A birthday party?" Twilight was dying to know.

"Even warmer..."

"At Sugarcube Corner?" Twilight was starting to put the pieces together.

"You're on fire..."

"For one of my friends?"

"Close enough." Spike sighed.

"Well, who is it?" Twilight was dying to find out even more than when she was about five seconds ago. How could she forget her friends birthday? Now she just needed to know who so she could buy the appropriate present.

"How could you forget it? It's one of the most important ponies in your life," Spike sounded exhausted.

"Well anyways, I need to practice my teleportation spells. I have an important meeting with the Princess on Tuesday, and I want to impress her by teleporting there. Got to go!" Twilight went off on her way. Spike sighed and continued trying his best attempt at something edible.

Even though Twilight was already pretty good at teleportation spells herself, she still couldn't teleport all the way to the Canterlot castle. She could maybe get a good halfway there; she's never really measured it. Twilight walked into a clearing just north of Ponyville, and started channeling her magic. She could hear the sounds of Rainbow Dash flying off in the distance. It didn't bother her, as she had grown accustomed to it.

Twilight really had to think about hard about where she wanted to go, and she focused all of her concentration on it. Clenching her eyes, she bit down on her lip, and made some groaning noises.

Meanwhile, Rainbow was flying faster and faster, trying to break her personal record of 1897 Mph. She was gaining and gaining speed faster than ever before. For sure, she was going to break her record. The sound of the air rushing past her whizzed by her ears. She was about to pull of a Sonic Rainboom, and it would be on the perfect day. The perfect spot? Not so much.

She reached her maximum speed and then the rainbow ring flew out from her, making a large boom sound. This sound was right above Twilight Sparkle, and losing all her focus, she pulled off the teleportation spell in a bright flash of light.

Twilight woke up in a grassy forest. She surveyed the area around her. She couldn't be in the Everfree; the trees were too different. The air also smelled different. This was unlike any other place she knew. After wondering around for a little bit, she suspected she wasn't in Equestria anymore.

"Hey, a Pokémon!" Her suspicions were confirmed. She wasn't in Equestria, and she had no idea how to go home.
