Dungeons & Ponies

When everypony finally came to, their first thoughts were along the lines of "What the hay just happened?", and "Where in the name of Celestia are we?"

Once they realized that they weren't dead, each pony noticed that they had on very strange clothes. Twilight was wearing a set of robes with a hood. Much to Fluttershy's dismay, she was covered in animal furs. Rainbow Dash was burdened with a set of shiny full plate mail. Light, flexible leather adorned Cloud Kicker, and a cowl covered the bottom half of her face. To Rarity's pleasure, she was bedecked in a glistening set of scale mail. Pinkie Pie was wearing a fancy set of clothes, accompanied by a jovial hat. Harder, fitted leather with steel studs was clasped to Applejack's torso.

Each set of armor was customized to reflect something about each pony. Rainbow's plate mail was a myriad of colors. Each scale on Rarity's armor was the color of a different gem. Cloud Kicker's leather armor was a dull red, the color of Clan Kicker. Pinkie Pie's clothes were bright and cheerful, perfectly reflecting her personality. The studs looked like red apples, and the leather was a leafy green color for Applejack's armor. Twilight's robes were a dark blue with stars all over. Fluttershy's animal fur armor was more of a suite; her head was even coming out of a wolf's head.

After these realizations, they looked around.

"I... don't think were in Equestria anymore..." Dash said, pointing out the obvious. Anypony with eyes could have seen that.

Nothing looked the same. The trees were different, in breed and color. The grass they stood on was much paler, and felt courser to the touch. Even the air smelled different.

The final, and probably biggest realization, was that the ponies were... no longer ponies.
