Rarity Belle: A generous up and coming fashionista from Ponyville

Growing up under Magnum Belle and Peral Belle, in a household that struggled to make ends meet for a time, Rarity constantly felt that her home life could be improved. And she believed that by delving into the world of fashion she could make it happen.
Even after her parents gave birth to another filly named Sweetie Belle, Rarity became determined to pursue a career in fashion. And she refused to let anything stop her. Though it pained her to not be able to spend as much time as she would've liked with her family. Especially her little sister, who she frequently brushed off, not that she didn't feel guilty about it.
After discovering that she had a talent for bringing out the inner beauty of everyone and everything around her, Rarity vowed to use that talent to help not only herself, but also everyone else. To that end she eventually opened up her own business, in the form of Carousel Boutique, right in the heart of Ponyville.
At first Rarity was not interested in taking part in the Equestria Battle Tournament, even though she could easily drum up business for Carousel Boutique. It was not until her parents informed her that Sweetie Belle might potentially have to switch schools as a result of rising education costs, that Rarity changed her mind. She was not about to let her little sister lose the friends she had made. Rarity is convinced that if she can win the tournament the prize money will be more then enough to keep Sweetie Belle enrolled in Ponyville Elementary.
She does not know that the tournament will pit her against not only her friends but also some very tough foes. Including one she's never seen before. But she'll do anything for her little sister, no matter what the cost might be.
