Target: Magic and Honesty
The crystal empire, one of the newest additions to Equestria that was regained after a thousand years of it's disappearance. it was reclaimed by the elements of harmony and the royal couple Princess Cadence and Prince Shining Armor. The place has since been a happy place and was host to the Equestria games. Since it's flourish the Crystal Empire has fortified it's defenses and with toursim has prospered. Today though their defenses would be for naught as what was coming to their castle was moving too fast for any reaction.
A blur of prismatic colors moved at super sonic speeds making a visible rainbow trail. The target of this flying spectacle, Twilight Sparkle, She was on a mission to salvage a friendship and repair a lost one. She wasn't going to let anything get in her way. Anything foolish enough to attempt to stop her would end up careened into a wall or left a broken mess. I have to get this done fast because I have my own goals. I want to be with Fluttershy and nothing will stop me from getting her back.
Sadly not all of Equestria are intelligent, as Rainbow approached the castle and demanded entrance so she could make an audience with Twilight, some foolish guard named Flash Sentry was denying her entrance. The encounter didn't last long as Rainbow Dash gave no bucks about the guy and sent him into a wall which caused guards to get angry and prepare an attack.
Though before anymore hooves could collide with any other ponies Shining Armor was first to respond with "What is going on here?" He managed to get to the location of the commotion and noticed a familiar rainbow maned pegasus. "Rainbow Dash? What is the meaning of this? Have you lost your mind?" He was shocked at her appearance she looked frenzied and not sane. Her mane was disheveled and her body tense. She looked as if she was about to go berserk.
"I was just here to visit Twilight when that stupid guard over there," she had her hoof pointed at the unconscious Flash Sentry, " Decided it would be a good idea to get in my way when I have urgent business that was top priority." She gestured a false salute, "I am after all military and my rank outshines that pissant. Anyways I need to see twilight is she around?" She asked as she entered the castle scanning the area.
Shining Armor was a bit calmed that he wouldn't have to tussle with a Wonderbolt trained pegasus. Her speed would out match his magic and with the stories he heard it wouldn't turn out well. He looked at Flash Sentry and noted he should check if he was alive but more importantly he had to deny the same pegasus who wrecked Flash Sentry from seeing his sister. "Look I don't know what the Wonderbolts want with my sister but I was told by Celestia to make sure you didn't see her." He said calmly hoping to reason with the brash cyan fury.
Rainbow Dash just snorted and chuckled "You do know that was ages ago and I was sent here by Celestia. The Wonderbolts want nothing to do with Egg Head but I want something to do with her... wait that sounded wrong. I mean I just want her to come have a chat with me and we will be out of your pretty little heads." She said with a smile. Sounding more like the old Rainbow Dash that used to enjoy being a prankster and all around awesome pony.
Shining Armor felt no dishonesty coming from the pegasus even though she wasn't usually afraid to lie. "Well she is in her room upstairs hanging out with Cadence. I hope you know though she isn't too keen on visitors especially if they have anything to do with Celestia..." then he smiled a bit as he finished "Still she has been dying to see you so enjoy your stay, and please don't break any other guards, that was her personal guard."
Rainbow chuckled "That weakling. Who is he supposed to protect her from? Fluttershy? Seriously that guy went down in one hit. Then again I did take out a pack of timber wolves.... doesn't matter, twilight time. " She said before whooshing off without regard to property damage. Nothing was going to stop her from her task ... nothing.

Twilight was hearing noises down stairs and a voice that felt familiar but was unsure of it's origin. That can't be her can it? she then heard the insult of her personal guard and with no doubts left knew it was Rainbow Dash. She is here I wonder what she wants, play it cool twilight you can't show that you missed her too much or she might freak out. She hated sappy stuff.
As soon as she made her poker face her eyes were met with magenta ones. "Rainbow... " She started tearing up a bit despite her previous demeanor "Dash..." She lost it. She tossed herself at the cyan wonder and held her tight. "I missed you so much..." she then composed herself "wait... how did you know where I was and why are you here?" She asked scared since Celestia had forbade them to talk.
Rainbow Dash got out of the hug after the awkward seconds ticked by. "Alright here it goes I will give you the long and short end at once because I am on a mission and I can't spend time explaining everything and I don't want to be kept waiting and also..." She paused for dramatic effect "You need a new guard I kind of broke your old one." She laughed like she used to back in the days when she was just a weather pony chasing her dreams. it felt good to be happy and she was slowly becoming happy again. Her friends meant the world to her and she had forgotten that. "Anyways, all jokes aside. Though I wasn't joking about your guard, not the point... the point is, I missed you and I missed my friends... Celestia sent me a letter and I read it. She told me about all the bucking problems that have been happening since my absence. I want to make things right... I want us to be a team again the six of us. I know I don't deserve your forgiveness right away and have a lot of making up to do. But I am not going to quit. You know me, once I make a promise.. I mostly keep them...no I keep them damn it." She said stomping a hoof and puffing her chest out. "I am Rainbow Dash. and I swear by Celestia and by Twilight Sparkle, since you are a princess and all that, that I will do anything in my power to make things right. As right as I can make them at least."
Twilight saw the pegasus she grew to love reappear before her. Her friend was back. Her friend that spent time with her. The one who kept her safe and the one who tried making time to spend with her. It was like she was back in Ponyville and meeting Rainbow Dash again for the first time and was impressed by the 'ten seconds flat' deal. She cried happy tears and knew that life was going to be ok again. "Rainbow... I am so happy to hear that coming from you. So what happens next?" She asked not sure what Rainbow's plan was.
Rainbow Dash sat there for a second rubbing her chin "Well ... now I take you back to Canterlot or you go there yourself and you forgive Princess Celestia. After all if she didn't stop me from seeing you guys I wouldn't have felt the emptiness inside me, and I wouldn't have known how much you all meant to me. While it was cruel and sadistic it worked. I won't go praising her for her methods but I will say I now have a purpose in life besides trying to please someone who will never see me for who I am. My new goal in life is to be... happy."
Twilight wasn't sure if she could face Celestia. After all the horrible things she said to her. " Rainbow... You think Celestia will forgive me?" She asked with quivering lips like she was about to cry. Rainbow just smiled back to her and placed a hoof on her head
"Hey Egg Head... you think she would go all sappy on me and tell me how much you don't know what you mean to her in a letter if she wasn't ready to forgive you? Now go to her and I will head there when I am done with my mission. I have some other people to meet and things to make right. But know this. Twilight Sparkle I love you as a friend and I missed the hell out of you. I will not say good bye right now because I won't be gone, instead I shall say see you later because I am not leaving your heart again."
Before Rainbow could fly out Twilight yelled "You never left... " She finished softly as she saw a blur fly out a window. The entire time Princess Cadence was just watching about to sip a tea and felt as if she should have paid a ticket for the dramatic show she just watched. She ignored that thought and continued to sip her tea as there was really nothing much for her to do at that point.

Appleloosa, was a small town bristling with country ponies that all had one thing in common. They loved apples. A town that has been in coexistence with the buffalo tribe around it. They had found a happy compromise to a problem they encountered about the placement of trees and the need to stampede. The town grew a bit more as more ponies came to live in the fine country town. Though things were generally happy there were a few grumps in town.
One namely Grump was the Element of Honesty Applejack. She had every right to be grumpy. Her old home was torn apart by a storm, her grandmother died, her farm ruined, her life gone. She had nothing left to look forward to for months especially after she had been played by a stallion.
Applejack was lonely after losing her grandmother and not having her old best friend to comfort her like she usually would have she decided to try dating and finding some pony. The relationship moved a bit fast and soon Applejack found herself with child. Though she was happy it wasn't good news all around. The stallion decided he didn't want to have a foal and just wanted a good time so he took off and was never seen again. Big Mac was furious and Applejack was depressed.
Being guests at Braeburn's farm wasn't bad enough but not being able to pull her weight around with a foal in her body was just torture for the usually hard working farm pony. She just looked at the sky for a sign that things would get better any sign at all. Her prayers answered as a speeding rainbow was zooming towards her at speeds unfathomable. She rubbed her eyes to make sure she wasn't seeing things and when she cleared her eyes she saw just a trail. I guess it was my imagination
Rainbow Dash had landed behind Applejack and decided since the pony didn't seem to notice her she was going to pull a sweet prank. "So I hear you used to be friends with the awesome Rainbow Dash," she said in a disguised voice. That got her what she wanted. The farm pony turned around and their eyes met.
Applejack's heart froze for a second. She wasn't sure if she was dreaming or if she was going crazy under the desert sun. "Sugar Cube?" She asked uncertain and started pooting a hoof foward to her mirage. Please be real, RD. When her hoof connected with solid matter and not air as she predicted she started crying "Rainbow... I can't believe it's really you," she pulled her into a huge but noticeably more gentle than usual. "I have so much ta tell ya.. where have ya been why didn't you try ta find us? What has happened?" She was throwing questions in a frenzy.
Rainbow Dash noticed the difference in hug and slowly put the pieces together. She was pregnant, her best friend was pregnant and that means no more being rough with her for a while. "Hey... I will tell you everything... but right now I have a huge favor I need you to do..." She started as she waited for AJ to relax. Applejack just looked her in her eyes with tears streaming still. "I need you to forgive me for being the worst friend ever, and more than so I need you to convince your family to move back home. Before you ask questions I am re-establishing sweet apple acres and Ponyville is being rebuilt and given tons of funding for the project. The town will be like it used to and maybe even better. Don't ask how or why. I just need you to trust me. Can you trust me Applejack?" She said whole putting their noses together eyes locked.
To any outsider it would seem as if they were lovers or marefriends but the truth is they were just two best friends who enjoyed each other's company. Their intimacy wasn't sexual it was hardly romantic it was just trust. Two ponies who had complete trust in each other. Even with their jibs and jabs they knew that they would always be there for each other. Time has proven that true. Applejack chuckled "RD if I didn't know better I would say you were getting all sappy on me, but yeah I do trust you... even though you have a lot to make up for and a lot to explain I want you to know sugar cube I am happy you are here... but I have a problem sugar cube. I have barely any bits and I can't exactly work... the proud father of my foal to be has decided it wasn't his time to be responsible.. so he skedaddled and left me high and dry." She said sadly.
Rainbow Dash said what only a rainbow maned awesome best friend could "Buck him. I will be the father... and I will be awesome at it." She said with a bright smile which earned her a look on her friend's face between "are you kidding me," and "that is a sweet gesture."
Applejack was a loss for words here she was miserable and about three minutes later her life suddenly felt alright. "Well you can't be the father since we aren't getting married, but you can be an awesome aunt how does that sound sugar cube?" She said while moving a bit back noticing their muzzles were still touching and a crowd was forming at the scene. "I mean heck I might even name my foal after you... never mind you would get too big a head if I did."
Rainbow chuckled at that last part "Anyways Apples I need you to do that thing and also someone should be here shortly to escort you to Canterlot because we are all meeting the princess for some royal blah blah" she wasn't caring about all that she just wanted to get a move on. She was still on a mission and even though she enjoyed a short sweet moment with a good friend she wanted her prize. Prize... Fluttershy isn't a damn object... it's her location that is a prize she isn't a prize she is perfection. I want.. no I need her in my life. I won't let anything stop me.

Twilight Sparkle has just entered Canterlot Castle and with unease. She was unsure of how to approach Princess Celestia. She was unsure of how her reception would be after their last meeting. The hate filled rage that dripped acidic words and the hurt look on a proud and powerful princess. Her heart was torn between rushing in and glomping her and staying still in hopes she wouldn't be noticed. She approached the Princess as the usually melodic and kind deity would greet her, this time she didn't she just watched twilight's approach unsure of her reaction.
"Twilight if you don't rush over here and hug me I will tackle you." She said softly with a tear in her eye. Her dearest student had returned. All was good in her life, though one fateful reunion wasn't going to repair the gap in their friendship she was sure with time everything will be ok. "I missed you my most faithful student. I missed you so dearly so." She said before twilight could approach her, she tackled her and wrapped her hooves around her uncaring of how the display would be perceived. I am a princess if they don't like it then in the words of Rainbow Dash they could suck it. What it was has yet to be defined to this day. but suck it they could for the princess was happy and wasn't going to let manners and etiquette stand in her way of joy. She was going to hold Twilight as if it was for dear life.
Luna heard the commotion especially since she heard the crying of two princess while watching a rather intimate display. It seemed the table had turned and she was going to get her revenge. A shutter was heard with a click. The damage was done , now she had a picture of her sister on top of Twilight and she was going to use it when she saw fit. "Check mate.. " she said softly to herself while leaving the scene not wanting to disturb it. She wasn't going to interrupt her sister's reunion with her 'favorite student' and surely she would need creative ways to abuse the fact she has something so scandalous. Since it was still day she returned to her bed and smiled at the prospects of getting a forced favor from her dearest sister.

Back in the Crystal Empire a broken stallion wakes up from a punch that was mitigated by self control. "What happened?" he asked to no one in general as no one even responded to him, He wasn't worthy of a response just some new piss-ant guard who thought he was hot stuff. Turns out he was going to need to be trained if he really wanted to be able to protect Twilight Sparkle, since her enemies are even tougher than her friends.

Rainbow Dash was traversing the sky at speeds incomprehensible to normal science and laws of physics for a pony to be able to pull. She has mastered the Sonic Rainboom and mastered attaining Super Sonic speeds but constantly moving that fast and so soon was causing her to tire out a bit. She didn't have time for tiring out though she had three more ponies to make things right with before she could get to the endgame... This isn't a game damn it why am I viewing this serious challenge as some kind of game orchestrated by some mastermind.... well too deep of thinking for me.
She still had Pinkie Pie the Element of Laughter, Rarity the element of Generosity, Scootaloo the one who admired and her for her qualities and not her abilities. Girls I am coming, just please be ok and hold on. I will save you all, I won't let you guys down again. I love you all. Once I do my thing I will finally get to Fluttershy.. I wonder who this caretaker is. I don't care who he is. If he thinks he can stop me he has another thing coming. her thoughts moving faster than her body as she shoots to her next target. The Element of Generosity and then Laughter. She wasn't sure why she was going all across Equestria in this order when it made less sense than to go through a direct line. Then again Rainbow Dash and thinking aren't exactly the best match as she is more of a do first think later pony.
