The Party, The Good Byes, The Tears Part 3

Applejack was helping Pinkie Pie with cleaning the place up, when she noticed something on the table, it was an empty pie plate where the Zap Apple Pie meant for RD was. She was furious when she noticed it gone of everything, Did RD even get any? As she was about to start spouting off to the empty moonlight night she noticed a letter underneath the empty plate. she picked it up and it read.

Dear Apple Smack Jack ,

I am not usually good at writing things out and I am sure if it wasn't for my stint reading books with Egghead this letter would be more terrible. Anyways I just wanted to tell you in letter what I couldn't say to your face tonight. I am sorry. I am sorry you are sad about me leaving but never forget I love you. Dun Dun Dun... not like that silly, you know what I mean. We have been friends for a long time ever since I moved to Ponyville with shy. Do you remember that night when I first crashed into your house? It was funny. You were taking a shower and I flew right into it, Needless to say I was surprised at how you reacted after all the first thing you yelled was "Landsakes" I almost died of embarrassment and then it got worse. Big Mac rushed in and you tossed your towel at his face and for some reason I was laughing. I knew I was in for it but at that moment I didn't fear anything because you didn't strike me. I've always wondered why you never did beat me up, I mean a stranger in your shower crashed in, I would have flipped out but you didn't instead you looked at me and asked something I to this day will never forget "Are ya ok?" though it was in your thick country accent that I have grown to love listening to. Seriously Applejack I break into your house and you ask if I am ok? if it wasn't for the shower head soaking me already with water you would have seen my tears. I never told you this but the reason I moved out with Shy was because... my parents died. They died around the time I got kicked out of school. Some asshole was harassing Shy and I wasn't going to let him get away with it. Gilda told me I could live with her but she was too ... clingy, not that shy isn't but Shy is someone who needs me and I hated to admit it I needed her after what I went through. You see I never thought I would ever meet a friend who was dear to me again. That night while soaked from your shower it was that moment I realized I wanted to be your friend Apple Jack. Nothing mattered more at that point. After I got my job I helped pay for the damages and I helped at your farm a bit remember? I was always complaining because it was boring but honestly I never enjoyed anything more. You know that night could have ended differently if you were some other pony. I could have been hurt or even chased out of town. You have a great heart Apple Jack, and I am honored to call you my best friend. I am sorry I can't say good bye to you. I just can't look you in the eyes and do it Apples. You think I am brave, everyone does. I just keep pretending to be fearless and I have to. Just know this Apple Jack... no matter what we will always be friends, I will always love you like my best friend and even when my dream takes me higher and higher I will come down from the heavens to visit you at your barn. Also please ignore the water on the paper if you notice any, it was raining when I wrote this, that is my story and I am sticking to it. Take care and keep on bucking.

Applejack suddenly found the paper a little more wet, Pinkie Pie looked at her inquisitively "What you got there Applejack?" Applejack just relived that night in her head and started crying. Pinkie Pie was suddenly frowning. She did something only Pinkie could do and that was attempt to cheer her friend up. She pulled Applejack into a hug that said "I don't want you to cry but since you are, I am holding you because I am your friend." That kind of hug is the best kind of hug. Pinkie was letting her sob on as she herself was suddenly crying. "You know Dashie wouldn't want us to be sad, isn't that what you told me? I don't want to see you sad anymore. We all have been sad lately when we should all be happy. Dashie is going to have a funnerific time and a superific journey. We have to be there for her and keep her smiling too. I know I am usually a pony that isn't valued for her insight, and that is because I speak like a kid but that is because I have to keep the party going. I have to make the world smile. I don't have time to be sad. I was destined to make others happy. I eat sugar to keep me going any kind of sugar because as long as I am up and attum I can make people smile. You know like this..." She made a silly huge grin that made Apple Jack laugh a bit . "... See this is my job. I want to make the whole world smile. You know what keeps me smiling though? The joy of knowing others are happy. So for me, tonight Apple Jack will you smile with me and forget the saddies? Dashie taught me how to smile with a Sonic Rainboom, She brought you home to your family too. She is amazing isn't she Applejack. But that is just it. She didn't become amazing by frowning at her troubles she had to smile the pain away. Just like we have to. She taught us to be brave so lets show her that we are. I will miss her too, probably more than you but not because I was better than you at being her friend. I will miss her because she was the person who made my heart smile. She was the one who never gave up on me, the one who dragged me from the darkness that day. I don't think anyone can ever take her place in my heart, even if I was to get married and have kids I still wouldn't be able to love anyone more. I don't love her like that, I mean it goes beyond that I owe her everything. She saved me from the collapsing darkness and gave me joy that I can spread to others. But I will never tell her that. Because it would be selfish. I would be selfish to stop her from living her dream. We all have dreams and hers is coming true. I know in time mine will too. My dream is to see the whole world smile. Silly dream right Applejack?"

No reply came as the farm mare was already asleep in her arms, tired from over working and preparing for a party she barely enjoyed. She had emotionally taken a toll by that letter. She slept comfortably in the pink joy bringer's embrace. Pinkie just smiled and kissed her forehead. "Just let your aunt Pinkie Pie take care of you." The pink party pony effortlessly carried the sleeping mare on her back and with a hop, skip and a jump she some how managed to end up in Applejack's room and planted her on the bed. She put the blanket over her and smiled " Night night, don't let the bed bugs bite." With that she left and bounced her way home.

Twilight was in Canterlot with Luna. They hard departed together and flew in silence. "So shall you be sleeping in your old room or do wish for some company tonight?" It wasn't a sexual question just one of comfort. Luna wasn't going to allow herself to do something as low as take advantage of an emotional young Alicorn, not to mention my sister would kill me and plus I would rather play with my si- moving on. She was unsure what she was going to think of next. A thousand years in the moon does things to a pony's sanity.

Twilight accepted the offer and smiled "Thank you Luna," then she realized Luna stays up at night while Celestia sleeps and it would be awful to not allow her to enjoy the freedom of being awake "but aren't you going to ruin your sleep pattern?" Luna chuckled " It doesn't matter Twilight after all it's what friends do right?" Twilight nodded and smiled. The two went into Luna's room for the night as Twilight started monologue her thoughts.

She is going to really be there for us right? I mean she said it herself. I have to trust her. She trusted me before and that was the way things worked. Trust in friends. So why do I feel like she is going to betray us all? How can I think that of her.. maybe I just need sleep. Wait... maybe I can convince her... no I tried that. Well I can speak to Celestia about having access to the Wonderbolt's base, but they are touring soon. What if during her tour she finds new friends and decides we aren't good enough for her? Wait why am I thinking this? I can't think like this. This is Rainbow Dash element of Loyalty for buck's sake. Why is it easy for me to feel so weak? I am strong, it was her that made me strong. She and her awesomeness... Why is it that when something is gone that it is truly appreciated then? Damn it. I will not cry, I will not cry, I will not cry......

Luna looked at the sleeping form of Twilight Sparkle, and saw moisture forming at her eyes. It was odd to see a princess cry like this. Luna herself hadn't shed a tear since that day she became free of the nightmare's grasp. So much has changed in a thousand years. So much has happened. It felt like being a world that you didn't belong. Being someone who hasn't aged in a thousand years while maintaining isolation on some rock floating in the endless sea of space. She tried not to let her mind wander as she just slept her head on top of Twilight's trying to nuzzle her gently. Hope Tia doesn't see us like this she might get the wrong idea.

Rainbow Dash was surprised when she entered the house and noticed the lack of furry invaders. Usually Fluttershy's house was full of animals and critters. "Hey shy..." before she could finish that thought a hoof was pressed to her mouth.

"Shh it's ok just sit on the couch and I will call you up soon." She said unusually sultry. She wasn't going to let anything stop her. This was going to be her night. If she couldn't be with Rainbow Dash she would at least enjoy tonight. She got upstairs moving her hip side to side slowly allowing Rainbow Dash a good view. Oh Fluttershy don't over do it.

Rainbow sat thinking to herself. Can I actually do this? This is my best and oldest friend. I can't just rut her and then fly off to live my dream can I? Well I mean... if anything she can always come with me. I mean right? She is a pegasus. but them damn animals... She was broken from her thoughts when she heard a soft but sultry voice.

"Come up here Dashie." she said using the nickname she rarely utters, the way she said it too was like a siren's call luring Rainbow Dash to her doom.

Rainbow Dash shuddered in anticipation and went to the bed room. She found the door open and what was inside the room shocked her to the core. Her eyes widened her face flushed, her wings jutted out straight, her body started heating up and her mouth was salivating. Inside the room Fluttershy was layed across her bed with a Wonderbolt's costume that looked authentic. The outfit however was designed to not only fit Fluttershy but hug her form showing off her features. the crotch area was empty of cloth to show intent of the outfit. Her nipples had also been uncovered by this restrictive suit. Rainbow Dash stammered.. "Flu...flu... Flutt..." she couldn't make out words.

Fluttershy just smiled and said in the cutest faux-sultry voice ever "Hey there big girl, how would you like to ride this Wonderbolt." Yes I did it I said it just like I practiced. Look at her she is about to explode. Come on don't back out now Rainbow You know you want it your wings are telling me so.

Rainbow Dash slowly crept to the bed unsure of herself. Her face read and panting in want, need, desire. She wanted to destroy Fluttershy but in a good way. She had to calm herself. This is going to be Fluttershy's first time. I can't be ravenous, I have to be soft with her... but then that means having to actually make love... I have had sex sure, but I never made love. She started by sliding her self on to the bed her muzzle inches from Fluttershy's before she gently started kissing her , her forelegs started slowly sliding up and down Fluttershy's sides earning her a soft moan.

Fluttershy herself was ready, her mind blazing with the realization that it was going to happen. She slowly brought the cyan pegasus closer to her and opened her mouth wanting to be dominated by her lover. Wait are we lovers... no brain shut up sex time. Fluttershy pushed her thoughts away as she felt a tongue slide into her mouth she was in heaven, her mind was not going to ruin this for her.

The moment was culminating for both each tended to the other's desires. Exchanges of kisses, licked and bites. moans echoing through the room. Passion spilling over the entire house, it started on the bed, it ended up on the living room floor, three hours of passionate play lead to orgasms filling the night. Sadly nights end and mornings come. The morning neither will ever forget.

Celestia began rising the sun and all over Equestria people were waking up. Celestia had went to see if Luna was home and surprisingly found a sleeping Twilight Sparkle underneath her. She was in a mix between upset and jealous. I want to snuggle them... Why should I be alone. Her thoughts quickly disappeared with a smile when she took a picture of them. Blackmail time. Her thoughts obviously were hidden with joy as she wasn't intending on actually doing harm. Just wanted to play a prank on her sister when she reveals the photo to her.

While the sun rose a rooster decided it was time to do it's famous call waking the farm pony from her sleep. Apple Jack knew Rainbow was gone and it would be a while before she saw her but hey after last night's letter... The letter! She looked around and found it at the foot of her bed still closed after she made sure Pinkie didn't see it. She was in her bed and the letter unopened. Pinkie Pie sure is a good friend I should thank her some how. She held the letter to her chest with her hooves like a school filly. "Enjoy your future RD." She said to no one in particular.

Rarity was awake and was hoping operation seduce and keep had worked. The plan was an elongated one but it was necessary. She had a check list like Twilight usually keeps but this one was special she woke the sleeping dragon that had crashed the night in her house and cleared her throat "Ahem, Spikey Wikey get the checklist for me so I can clear it off." The dragon as usual was still slightly infatuated with her but not as infatuated as he is becoming with sweetie belle though he figured that would happen since Sweetie bell is a mini Rarity, except less of a drama queen. he grab the check list and read off each step.

" Step one, lie your way into the base to get the technique used to make the costume." He started unsure of what the purpose of the checklist was. "Step two, aquiesce the relationship between Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash before attempting to seduce Rainbow Dash yourself..." Spike looked up at her angrily... "Seriously?" She blushed but kept quiet "Step three give the appropriate pony the costume and lure Rainbow Dash to whoever's place of living." Spike was not sure he was going to like this but he was already figuring out it was a plan to trap Rainbow Dash with love... or sex. "Step four make Rainbow Dash feel like a goddess" Spike chuckled Rainbow Dash isn't a girl.., oh wait she is. "Step five report success once Rainbow Dash admits it's better to be with you or Fluttershy then it is to be a stupid Wonderbolt." He started checking each one but the last two. "So how do you know if Fluttershy went through with it or not?" She rubbed a hoof to her chin "I don't know I guess I will find out later today if she shows up at the spa."

Pinkie Pie was up this morning and was making some baked goods. She wasn't her usual self but was trying to be for everyone else's sake. She needed to make others happy it was her destiny... curse. She felt like it was after knowing that even when her bravest of moods come she can't ignore the fact that she would be alone. Not many enjoy her company for as long as Rainbow can. Rainbow had a Pinkie tolerance that allowed Pinkie to do things with Rainbow that she couldn't with no pony else. After all Rainbow was loyalty.. is loyalty.

Rainbow Dash was slowly waking up and she realize she wasn't alone. "Fluttershy..." She saw what appeared to be her oldest friend but with a half ripped fake Wonderbolt's outfit. Her mind suddenly rushing back with memories. Three hours of shameless love making. Her face flushed red and she started prodding the sleeping canary mare.

Fluttershy felt as if she awoke from the most loveliest of sleep. She had the most erotic dream ever. Wait... it wasn't a dream she noticed when she surveyed the scene. Her face crimson and her body now tense. What am I going to do. It's morning and I haven't convinced Rainbow to stay... this is my last chance.

"Rainbow... listen before you interrupt me just listen, when I am done talking I will let you know," she started with a tone that was unlike her but finality sat in and she needed to get this out. Rainbow could only nod as Fluttershy continued. " I have been in love with you since we were fillies. I ... I .. I can't let you leave Rainbow... you are my everything and only thing I want. When we were fillies you used to be my knight in shining armor and you still are. We have done so much together and I want to do so much more. I know you feel something for me, you won't admit it's love but it's something. I sensed it when we made love last night. If it was a one time thing sure but three hours of love making... I want you to stay with me. I don't want you to go. I won't stop you, I will let you choose but I want you to be with me. I can make you so happy. I can be your wife, I can cook and clean and take care of you..." tears were forming as her passion and bravery rose, " I know being a Wonderbolt is your dream and you made it, but I have a dream too. I dream of being your wife Dashie. I want to start a family with you. I want us to be something. I know this is mean of me and unfair. But I can't... " started weeping like her usual method "But I can't let you go... We have been through so much. We have survived hell together. We have become heroes and champions. You are what made me brave when the times came for it. Remember the day the dragon was going to hurt you after you kicked it. I saw you not the group just you about to get hurt. My love for you turned into bravery and I stared that dragon down. You are what empowers me. Rainbow when I look at you I feel it, My heart it beats for you, without you I would have been an abused lonely filly who would have probably ended my pain. You saved me from that. You made me feel I was worth something. I need you to know that I don't only love you for that. There is so much more why I love you..." Her breathing was getting heavier as if she was literally pouring her entire being into this statement. "You are strong, you are courageous but best of all you are there, you exist and are here for me. You make me smile, you keep me safe, you are beautiful... I mean Awesome ... you are just everything I want in life. Please Rainbow Dash.. Will you stay with me... I know I am asking for possibly the worst thing for you, but I know I can make you happy. We can be happy. We can be a family... " that was it for her, the last thing she could try and she was scared to look at her friend in the face afraid to see the rejection in her eyes.

Rainbow Dash was stunned. Out of all her friends to try and pull a trump card. She never expected it to be the shy one. "Fluttershy... come with me... If you truly want me then leave this place with me... " She didn't get to finish

"I can't... I have to take care of the animals. I can't just abandon them..." She tried pleading but Rainbow cut her off with anger..

"Then how can you expect me to bucking abandon the Wonderbolts?" Her face red with anger tears spilling like a waterfall caressing her face as it stings from the pain of knowing her heart and her friend's hearts are about to break.

"Rainbow... Your destiny isn't to be some show pony warrior... it's to be something greater...." Cut off again by an angry Rainbow Dash.

"What makes you so bucking sure? Do you know my future? Do you have Pinkie Sense now? Fluttershy why do this to me? I love you Shy... Oh damn it I love you..." She sobbed onto her shy friend's shoulders.

Fluttershy just kept her close she didn't know what else to do or say. She for the first time felt like she was losing her longest friend and all because she was being selfish. "Rainbow... I don't want to lose you... I love you too much... but I can't leave this place and you know that. You also know we can't work together as a couple while you are out. I know you Rainbow... you will get lonely and I can't always be there... the animals need me. I know you need me too and I need you. I wish... I wish I didn't care about animals... if I didn't I would be happy right now... I would be packing my things and going with you... I would be so happy.... ha it's funny... I am the element of kindness and yet the world is so cruel to me. I would give anything to not care just so I could be in your arms forever." Her eyes empty of tears. She can't shed no more as destiny has decided to favor those whose hearts have turned to ice. Fluttershy felt her heart freezing and the only thing that could melt it was sobbing away at her shoulder.

Rainbow Dash got up slowly and didn't bother looking at Fluttershy. She couldn't do so, because if she did she would lose that resolve. She had two choices, leave and never comeback or stay and never go. She hated herself for what she did next but she choose the greater of two evils. Because while she and Shy could be happy together in love, it wasn't enough for her in her broken hearted mind. She needed to be loved by many not just by one. She wanted people to admire her for the years. She was stupid, young, and about to face this brave new world empty without a single emotion. Emotions aren't for the strong they are for the weak. At least that is what she convinced herself as she left. She didn't care what a sight she was she flew into the sky a broken mare. She never once looked back to see the face of her oldest friend because she could already see it in her mind. it was heart wrenching.

Spitfire saw the emotionally and physically disheveled state of Rainbow Dash and decided it was time to whip that sniffling mare into shape with some pep talk. "Hey newbie hit the showers you reek of sex, When you are done lets hang out just me and you. After all we are going to be great friends. Since you know, we are going across the universe together." she said with that last line being a joke but hey they were going to travel far and wide.

Rainbow Dash couldn't smile, she faked one as she showered but something happened. In her broken state she just realized she has friends Spitfire and Soarin and the rest of the Wonderbolts. Suddenly things weren't looking so bad. She was going to enjoy it, and face whatever consequences come from her choices. Though as life being a cruel mistress it seems those choices are going to be very costly.
