----Cutie Mark Crusaders clubhouse 6 weeks earlier----
It's been 4 hours since Applebloom and Scootaloo have heard anything from their friend Sweetie Belle.
Applebloom was worried about Sweetie Belle. "I wonder if Sweetie is okay"
"Yeah, I wonder that too" Scootaloo agreed.
"Let's head back to the clubhouse and see if she's okay"
Scootaloo nodded and together they headed towards their clubhouse. They both walked up the ramp and knocked on the door and Applebloom asked
"Sweetie Belle, are you okay?"
No response
"Sweetie Belle, it's us Applebloom and Scoots" Scootaloo said
There still was no response.
"Alright, were coming in" Applebloom said opening the door.
Applebloom and Scootaloo walk in the front door and gasped to find their friend gone.
"Where could of she gone too?" Scootaloo asked.
"Ah' don't know" Applebloom responded
"We need to go find her"
Applebloom agreed "We need to get Twilight"
Scootaloo shook her head "If we can't find Sweetie Belle, then we will ask for help"
"Okay" Applebloom replied.
They both walked out of the clubhouse to search for Sweetie Belle.
----Ponyville Plaza 1 hour later----
"Did ya' find her?" Applebloom asked
"No, I haven't, did you?" Scootaloo asked
"Obviously not" Applebloom started "We need to get Twilight and the rest of her friends, including Rarity"
Scootaloo nodded "Yeah, let's go get them!"
The afternoon didn't feel the same as usual for Twilight. She felt the need to study but her mind had grown wary of the pages in front of her. Her ears perked up eagerly at the sound of a knocking at the door; a sweet release from her books. It would however, be only short lived. She walked over to the front door and sighed a bit in relief. When she faced the fillies behind it however, worry struck her face.
"Hi girls!" she began, hoping to stir some optimism "Uhm... can I help you?"
"Twilight! It's terrible!" Applebloom began worriedly.
"It's Sweetie Belle" her orange friend followed up "We can't find her anywhere!"
Twilight furrowed her brow, sensing that their distress was not over a simple game of hide and seek gone awry.
She sat the two fillies down in the library, hoping to find out what had happened for these two to show up at her (of all ponies) doorstep.
She quickly learned that when Applebloom and Scootaloo had come back to the clubhouse, Sweetie Belle was no longer there. They'd looked for her in all of her favorite places but found no trace of their dear friend. That was about one hour ago, as they'd just met up at the plaza in the center of town. She had nodded in agreement when they told her what had gotten them so worried.
"You girls made the right decision in finding me first." She smiled at them for a moment. A smile that faded to a worry and a minor scold "Though you should've come here sooner."
"Thanks Twilight! Ah knew we could count on you!" the youngest Apple said. She looked at Scootaloo. "Now let’s go get the others!"
House after house the group gathered up the rest of their friends, AJ, Rainbow, Pinkie, and Fluttershy.
----Twilight's Library----
"C’mon, follow me back to the library" Twilight said looking towards everyone in front of her.
When they arrived, they settled to the table that was located in the middle of the room.
"What's going on Twi?" AJ asked.
Twilight sat down and sighed "It's Sweetie Belle"
"What about her?"
"She's missing"
Everyone gasped and gave shocked expressions.
"Mi-Missing?" Fluttershy stuttered holding a hoof to her mouth.
"Yeah" Twilight replied
"Wait... if we’re all here, where's Rarity?" Rainbow asked realizing that one of her friends was missing.
"That's exactly why we’re here" Twilight confirmed.
"Huh?" Rainbow started but being interrupted by her farm friend "What did she do this time?"
"Well, I don't know AJ; you will have to talk to your sister Applebloom and her friend Scootaloo if you want to know what happened"
"Applebloom" AJ Started
"Yes Applejack?" Applebloom replied.
"What happened between Rarity and Sweetie Belle?"
"Well" the young Apple started "She said that she wanted to enter the Sisterhooves Social that we suggested to her"
Scootaloo took over "But her sister said no and you know how Sweetie Belle is that she'll ask over and over till she gets a yes but that wasn't the case"
Applebloom took over again "Rarity said that she didn't want to get her hooves and mane all dirty and gross is how Sweetie put it.
Scootaloo transitioned in "However, Sweetie said that she wasn't important to Rarity and doesn't know what is important"
Applebloom put a hoof to her friends mouth "I'll finish" Scoots nodded "Anyway, she said that she does know what was important and that it was her fashion designs were more important to her than anything else, Sweetie yelled at her and then came to the clubhouse where she told us what happened, we left her alone so that she could calm down and when we came back, she was gone"
AJ was just as shocked as the rest of the group who heard what the two fillies had to say.
"What in the world?!" AJ started, a fierce look in her eyes "How the hay could her designs be more important than her own sister!"
"Yeah! How could her designs be more important?" Rainbow added
"Oh... my" Fluttershy started "That's really depressing, I can't believe she even said that"
"That's not right at all! How dare she say that kind of meanie thing!" Pinkie shouted.
"I agree as well, but all we know is that Rarity said that and now Sweetie Belle is missing because of her" Twilight spoke in disbelief.
"Alright then, we need to get Rarity to come here right now!" Rainbow said raising her voice
Everypony shouted "YEAH!" but was stopped by Twilight "Hang on ladies, I will go get her while the rest of you stay here"
"No Twilight, were all coming with you" Rainbow began to argue
"No Rainbow, you guys are only going to cause a fight, and I know for a fact that you’re going to start coming up with conclusions that are completely false"
"But-"
"Rainbow I said no"
"Okay then" Rainbow replied looking down at the ground for losing the argument
"I'll be right back guys, we will get answers from Rarity" Twilight assured her friends of her word.
----Carousel Boutique----
Twilight arrived to her white unicorn friend’s doorstep and knocked on the door.
Inside the Boutique, Rarity was interrupted from her work as she heard a knock on the door.
"I wonder who that could be" she said to herself
She heard another knock at her door "I'm coming darling" she said outloud.
She opened the door to find her purple unicorn with a purple mane and tail with 2 streaks of colors at her doorstep
"Oh hey darling, what can I do for you this evening?"
Twilight gave a serious look "We need to talk"
"Huh?" Rarity was quite confused on the response "Talk, what's going on darling?"
"Look, I'll explain when we get back to the library"
Rarity nodded, still quite confused.
Twilight began to walk back to the library and noticed Rarity wasn't following "Coming?"
Rarity locked the door behind her "Yes, I'm coming" and caught up with her friend
"Twilight" Rarity began
Twilight stopped in her tracks and put a hoof on her friends muzzle shaking her head.
Rarity's response was a confused look.
"Were here" Twilight said finally
----Twilight's Library----
Before opening the door Twilight looked at her white unicorn friend and said "I'll go in first to say a few things and then I'll let you in"
Rarity sat down "Umm okay darling"
Inside, Twilight walked in and closed the door behind her.
"Well?" Rainbow asked.
"I have her waiting outside" Twilight responded
"What are you waiting on Twily, just bring her in already!"
"Yeah, I want to give Rarity a piece of my cupcake mind!" Pinkie shouted
"Whoa hold up there girls" Twilight said, trying to stop her friends rage "I brought her here so that each of us can talk to her and see what happened"
Fluttershy stood up and said softly "She's right, there's no need to get all worked up because she did something wrong, we all make mistakes sometimes but, sometimes those mistakes can be forgiven with forgiveness"
Rainbow let out a frustrating sigh "I hate it when you’re right"
Pinkie stopped and smiled "Yeah, I guess she's right too!" and let out a few giggles.
"Agreed" AJ added
"Listen guys, I don't want anything to happen to her, please keep your hooves to yourselves. Especially you Rainbow" Twilight said strictly.
"Okay okay" Rainbow said quickly.
Twilight stepped out of the library for a quick moment, bringing in the fashionista.
"Rarity, I want you to take a seat in the chair" Twilight constructed.
Rarity nodded and sat down on the chair
"Rarity" AJ began "None of us here are going to hurt you however, we are all mad at you due to certain events that have taken place t'day"
Rarity was giving a nervous look "I really don't know what you’re talking about darling"
Rainbow friendly pushed AJ to the side and gave a frustrating, angry look at her friend "We know what you did Rarity, why did you do such a thing to your sister!"
Rarity was getting angry by the fact she was being accused by her friends even though she knows that she's guilty.
"Rainbow, I did no such thing!"
"Don't play that innocence with us Rarity" Rainbow said raising her voice even higher "We'll keep you here all night if it meant getting an explanation"
Twilight put a hoof on Rainbow's shoulder "I think she's had enough"
Rainbow pushed her friends arm away "I don't care, she will spill the beans"
"Beans, where!?" Pinkie said out of no where
There was a short silence
"No comment" Rainbow replied at her pink friend.
"I've just had about enough of this!" Rarity began "Do ya'll really think this is important?"
Applebloom and Scootaloo walked up towards Rarity, the bright yellow earthpony spoke first with a quiet friendly tone
"Rarity, it may be hard to believe but..." Applebloom was trying at her best to keep her emotions together "Sweetie Belle is missing"
Rarity was hit hard by that statement "Mi...Missing... how?"
Scootaloo sat down, looking at her friends’ sister in the eyes "She told us what happened between you and her; she came by and told us everything and we told her that she can have the treehouse to herself so that she could think, but when we haven't heard anything from her in 4 hours, we got worried so we came back up and saw her gone. We looked everywhere; we came here for Twilight so that we could get help in finding her"
"Oh dear... this all my fault" Rarity whispered, beginning to tear up.
"I KNEW IT!" Pinkie shouted
"Knew what Pinkie? No offense to you but, you don't know anything about this whole situation" AJ spoke.
"Yeah I know, I just love screaming out random things!" Pinkie said giving out a few giggles.
Rarity stood up "We need to find my sister"
"Rarity is right guys, we have a missing filly on our hooves" Twilight inquired "Listen, were all here to help you, I promise"
Rarity couldn't hold back a smile "Thank you so much Twilight!"
"Let's go, we have alot of searching to do" AJ leaded.
Everypony nodded and followed AJ out the door to search for Sweetie Belle.
