Romantic Advice

Princess Celestia slumped down in her seat as she rode to Ponyville. Luna, who was sitting next to her, had brought a camera and was taking pictures of her depressed sister. "Luna, for the fifty-sixth time, stop taking pictures of me!" Luna looked up from her camera. "But, sister you know it's for my scrapbook! I want to remember every second of your first bind date." The Night princess held up a bright pink scrapbook that was bedazzled with hearts and butterflies. The title read: Celestia's First Blind Date! and next to it was a picture of the princess in a sparkling red dress, and how Luna got that picture, Celestia didn't want to know.

The sun princess just slumped further down in hear seat, watching her flying chariot get closer to Ponyville. When the princess had argued to Luna that she didn't have any dating experience, her sister insisted that they go to Ponyville to see if one of the Elements of Harmony could offer advice. Now, Celestia wished she hadn't said that.

At least it's a nice day. Celestia thought to herself. And that was defiantly true. Sure, it was nice Canterlot, but as the chariot got closer to Ponyville, the scenery turned from nice to beautiful. In Canterlot, with all the houses and buildings, there weren't many open pastures, and large meadows. Out in Ponyville, there were tons of them. Meadows were dotted with colorful wildflowers, and the sweet fragrance of spring filled the air like cool breeze. The soft swaying of trees and flowers created a music of their own, and thanks to the pegasi, there wasn't a cloud in sight.

Celestia was about to cheer up, when she felt the chariot stop and she realized that they were in front of Carousel Boutique. Luna quickly hopped off and gestured for the princess to follow her. The ride pulled away and Luna spoke. "I thought that we should come to Rarity first, since she's read so many romance novels." Celestia just nodded, and Luna knocked on the door. "Just a moment, please!" called out a pleasant voice from inside.

In a moment, Rarity opened the door, revealing her elegant white coat, silky purple mane, and crystal blue eyes. "Princess!" she said, taking a slight bow. Luna snapped a picture of her. "HELLO LADY RARITY! WE ARE HERE BECAUSE MY SISTER, PRINCESS CELESTIA, NEEDS DATING ADVICE BECAUSE SHE HASN'T BEEN ON A DATE IN OVER THREE HUNDRED YEARS!" Luna yelled out in her royal Canterlot voice. She was so loud that all of Ponyville heard her, and Celestia wished that she could sink into the ground.

"Oh my, I'm terribly sorry, but I'm very busy today. You can come back another time, though!" and with that, Rarity slammed the door in their faces. Luna smiled. "Well, that went well!" she said. Meanwhile, Celestia was trying to hide her face behind Luna's scrapbook. "Easy for you to say! Let's just find another pony."

"So what do you think I should do?" Celestia asked. She had finally found some one who wasn't busy, and could her advice. "By the way, thank you for all the help, I really appreciate it."

Spike the dragon scratched his head. "Um, why are you asking me? I'm mean, I'm not a girl and Twilight says I'm too young to date anyway." Meanwhile, Luna was writing in her scrapbook. "Sister takes advice from infant dragon." she wrote, and then snapped a picture of Spike and the princess. "Luna, stop! This is serious!"

But the night princess just kept gluing pictures into her scrapbook. Celestia cleared her throat. "Now, Spike, as I was saying what do you think I should do?" Luna snapped another picture and Spike rolled his eyes.

This was going to be a LONG day.
