Chapter 2 hallucinations ?

Apple Jack ran as fast as her legs could carry her. She ignored everypony and everything she ran past, she had her mind set on her goal. Fuelled by adrenaline, she was able to keep her fast pace and soon enough, found herself at the train station.
Luckily, there was a train to Canterlot ready to set off so she quickly bought a ticket and jumped into the train. This was a good opportunity to both rest and think, after all, there was lots for her to think about...

.......................

Not long after AJ left, the other ponies started to wake up. Rainbow Dash was the first to open her weary eyes and look around. She didn't notice Gavin and Dan at first, all she noticed was how tired and weak she was. As she slowly looked around the room she noticed everypony else, all on the floor like she was and some even had cuts or bruises.
Then she saw Twilight. She was lying next to her reading stand ; a few deep cuts on her body. Her mane was scruffy and burnt and her horn was black and charred. Rainbow decided that she had to help Twilight, she was in a bad way. Dash struggled to her hooves and carefully limped across the room, looking at the burn marks on the floor and walls.
When she made it to Twilight she knelt down beside her friend and analysed her condition. There was Largs hash on her shoulder and some small cuts, splinters and scrapes on her legs near her hooves. Dash tried to roll her over so she would face upwards, but Twilight was quite heavy and Dash felt very weak.
It was probably just a result of the failed spell, everypony else looked pretty tired too. Then, as Rainbow looked up from Trying to roll Twilight she noticed two hairless creatures in the middle of the room, still lying on the floor, still unconscious. Rainbow Dash froze in place. What if they were dangerous? Violent? Deadly?!
She started looking around the room quickly in panic, scanning for any signs that they were going to hurt anypony. She began counting her friends to make sure they were all there. Pinkie, Fluttershy, Twilight, Rarity, Apple Jack... APPLEJACK? Rainbow leaped into the air and darted over to where AJ was and started crying, thinking her friend had died.
Slowly Rarity woke up an looked around she saw back soot marks all over the walls and floor. She lifted her head slowly, feeling a sharp pain in her neck as she did so. As she looked around she noticed Rainbow Dash huddled up, crying a random place.
"Rainbow Dash, what's wrong dear?" she asked with a croaky voice. Rainbow instantly turned to look at her, revealing her eyes which were bloodshot and wet.
"It's AJ. She's gone!" Rarity gasped and bowed her head as her eyes began to fill with tears. She looked up to dsh once more and almost immediately stopped crying and glared at her.
"Rainbow, look at the door, then look at that piece of paper to your left." ordered Rarity. Rainbow Dash did so then looked back to Rarity sheepishly. There was a trail of sooty hoof prints going through the open door and a AJ's letter to her left.
"Oh, sorry for worrying you Rarity"
"No problem, you aren't very observant are you now?" she smirked.
They both chuckled and Rainbow grabbed the note.
"It says, I'm going to get princess Celestia, keep them here - Apple Jack". read Dash. She then gulped loudly. Rarity looked confused.
"Whatever could she be talking about?" Rarity asked.
Rainbow Dash just pointed towards Gavin and Dan slowly.
Rarity jumped out of her skin at the sight of them and shuffled backwards into her friend. They shared a worried glance for a second , then Rainbow's face lit up.
"We should get Fluttershy to talk to them! They are animals... right?"
" Good idea Dash! I'll go and wake her up, you wake Pinkie, but be quiet." replied Rarity, getting a nod from Rainbow.
They got to work creeping around and it didn't take as long as they'd expected to wake up their friends.
Once everypony was up they gathered in the corner by the door.
"Here's the plan. Fluttershy, you go and talk to the things, me, Rarity and Pinkie will wait here and cover your back. Ok?" Whispered Rainbow.
"Oh... goodness, do I have to talk to them?" asked Fluttershy, barely making a sound.
"Yes dear, it's your talent so you should try to talk to them, they don't look dangerous, they look rather stupid actually." relied Rartity.
"Oh... Ok. I'll do it for you!"
Fluttershy out on a brave face and stood up tall. She tip-hooved over to Gavin and Dan and knelt down next to them. She instinctively looked over their bodies, saw their burns and cuts and tried to help them she put pressure on the cuts and rubbed their backs gently.
"There there, wakey wakey" she spoke soothingly and gently to them in an attempt to wake them up without startling them.
"Uuihhhsnnmm" moaned Gavin as he began to come around.
"Gavin, it's too early go away!" whined Dan in reply. The ponies by the door flinched and tensed up but Fluttershy just continued to rub their backs gently.
"They can talk?" whispered Rainbow
"It seems so..." replied Rarity.
"Come on now friends, please wake up" she said softly. Gavin then opened his eyes wearily before snapping them open and leaping to his feet. He starred at Fluttershy square in the eyes and stepped backwards slowly. He squeaked sacredly as he backed into the wall.
"Dan! DAN!" he shouted.
Gavin's yells immediately woke Dan up. He looked around, panicked at first, but then calmly. He casually stood up and walked over to Gavin, who was terrified, and patted his shoulder.
"Calm down Gav" he said coolly.
"How can you not be scared, there are bright talking horses here!" Gavin replied in a loud whisper.
"Oh Gav, it's just the fumes messing with our heads!" Replied Dan calmly.
"Oh right! That explains it!"
The ponies looked up at them, confused looks on their faces. Fluttershy smiled at them warmly and hugged Gavin's leg making him go white as a sheet.
"I'm so glad you woke up, I think you need some help with those cuts and burns, follow me please." Fluttershy said calmly. Gavin turned to Dan slowly.
"Dan, if it's the drugs, why can I feel it touching me?" Squeaked Gavin.
