Early morning January 2012 somewhere over the Atlantic. The pilot spoke up "we are 25 minutes off the New York Coast get ready to land."
"Guys wake up we are about to land." I told them excitedly after only getting 5 hours of sleep. Rainbow was the first to wake up "uggh what time is it?"
"7pm" I told her checking my phone.
"What the hay it's that late how long have we been flying for?" The pilot turned around "about 16 hours."
"16 hours oh my gosh oh my gosh."
"RD calm down I've slept longer you were just sleep deprived."
"Heh I guess you're right it was kind of tiring standing in that machine." Suddenly Applejack woke up.
"Howdy you 2."
"Hey Aj" me and Rainbow replied back to Aj's common country greeting.
"How long have I been asleep?" Aj asked me.
"Only about 15 hours." I told her laughing waiting to see her reaction.
"What 15 hours what they hay!" Rainbow was laughing at Aj
"Calm down I slept that long to no need to be all crazy pony on us."
"Yer right ah just need to calm down." The others soon woke up after Aj was acting crazy. We all talked about what we were going to do before we got to there home town Equestria.
Suddenly I got a text it was from my girl friend Katie. (Where are you?) I texted her back saying (3 minutes from New York.)
Twilight walked up "what's that?"
"It's a cell phone."
"What are you doing right now" Fluttershy asked me nervously.
"Texting."
"What's that." now every pony asked me moving closer.
"My goodness you are really that far behind in technology well it can play games on it, call people, send messages across the world in only a few seconds, and it can play music and much more."
"Whoa I want one." Derpy said walking up closer.
"Derpy the last thing you need is a cell phone." I told her laughing a bit.
"Alright you guys time to get off." The pilot said turning around instead of using his talkie to speak over the loud speaker.
"Ah New York at least we got some of this back" I said to everypony.
"Yep I mean look at all the stores I can shop at and I can have Spike help me with it right Spike?" She said giving him the if you like me you will do this for me right stare. "Anything for you Rarity." He said blushing.
"Well I heard New York has some of the biggest libraries in the world and to be honest for my day off I want to catch up on some reading." Twilight said pointing to central square library.
"I'm going to have a huge party did you know New York is the city that never sleeps party all night baby don't be afraid to come by after you guys are done." Pinkie said dashing off to a building.
"Hey where are the others?" I asked.
"They took off while we were talking it's just me and you and I'm going to the library what about?"
"I'm going to see my girlfriend there why don't we walk together?"
"Sure that sounds find to me."
We both walked off to the library to go do what we wanted to do for our day off.
"So how is everything going" I asked her trying to make small talk on our way to the library.
"Good for me now that I can catch up on my reading and you."
"Fine now after Germany sometimes I just like to relax especially after that much action so much black dust in the air in that city they say it's going to stay for a week or two." I told her surprised how long it's going to stay.
"You're kidding right"?
"No I'm not I'm surprised they had that many guns in the city and so little helicopters went down only 6 helicopters out of 30."
"Sorry I have not been in much of anything involving war are those numbers good?"
"I guess they could be although no one wants to lose anything or anyone/pony in war."
"Let's not bring back Germany right now after all I got shot there."
"Hey at least you have not died and came back." We both sat there and laughed for a little bit. "You know not to get all soft on you Twilight but I'm glad I have a friend like you to get through this hell hole of a war." I said with a blush on my face.
"So am I Tyler." "Oh is that the library it's so big!"
"I've only been here twice counting today but yes I think this is the library."
We both walked into the library. "Well I'm going to go grab a bunch of books I'm not going to get picky today on what to read about if I like it I'm going to read it."
"Haha have fun with that as for me I need to go to the basement." I told Twilight with a shrug not knowing why the basement. "I never even knew libraries had basements." I told Twilight with a sorta of strange look.
"Neither did I besides mine in Ponyville."
"Well I'll see you in a bit." I told Twilight then wave good bye to her. I walked down towards the basement. I called out hello I got a reply. "Tyler is that you it's Katie."
"Yea it's me where are you."
"Behind you." I turned around and saw her taking my hand away from my knife.
"Whoa I can't believe you almost drew a knife to me I mean after all we have been going out for over a year."
"Yea sorry this war is making everything on my senses heighten see I took my hand away from it though."
She smiled a dark and evil smile "you should have trusted your senses." I felt a small blade hit me in the stomach.
"How could you BETRAY me MONSTER NOW YOU ARE TRYING TO KILL ME GO TO HELL!!!"
"Calm down sweetie it's only a poisons you won't be able to move for a while I would never kill you at least not yet."
I felt my body go numb from whatever she stabbed me with. She drew a chair and some rope. "All you need to do is sit down and relax."
She said with a laugh. "Cheap puns" I thought the worst kind to be tortured to. Suddenly a shadow long figure walked up with a messed up body with different animal parts. I could at least talk which came in handy for a time like this. "By dear god holy what the hell are you?" Still not seeing the figure.
"Do I need to step out so you can see me oh great solider." The figure said with sarcasm in his voice.
"Well it kind of would help sense I can't MOVE!"
"Easy there kid you ain't going anywhere for a while so just sit tight."
"Oh great another cheap pun if I don't die from them may you strike me down so I don't have to keep hearing these puns”. I thought to me self.
"Let me introduce myself." The figure stepped out "I'm Discord ruler of chaos and this whole WW3 going on here."
"Pretty brave for the person who started this whole thing to walk right into American territory you know if you make one wrong move they will find me and kill you right now."
"Hah my dear boy I'm not worried it should be you after all you can't move." I thought of something how to get Katie to tell how long this toxin has left till it wears off.
"Discord you do know the mane 6 are here."
"Hmmmm are they I think it's time to get my revenge." He left the room trusting Katie to be able to kill me as his wishes were."
"How long till you kill me?"I asked her trying not to seem to obvious.
"We'll the toxin where’s off in 10 minutes and Discord wants me to make sure you can squirm like the worm you are and those are my words." She told me with a smirk on her face.
"So you want me to beg for my life?"
"Yes begging would make it more fun to make me feel like I have power over you."
"Okay then so are you going to cut me lose before you kill me?"
"I don't see why not it would make it more fun."
"She fell right into my trap." The time had passed and she cut me lose. "Any last words?" She asked. "Yea you made one mistake trusting me."
I stabbed her right in the kidney and took off upstairs hearing her scream made me cringe a bit. I saw Discord "I got you now”. I screamed and threw my knife it hit him right in the leg I rushed and tried to tackle him. He moved and opened a portal back to Ponyville. "I'll see you again and kill you like I did to your parents."
"You son of a bitch I'll kill you." I told him. I rushed towards Twilight and told her what happened.
"Oh my Celestia you're kidding right?"
"NO WE NEED TO WORN THE OTHERS!"
"You're right let's go." We rushed out to Pinkies party and thankfully everypony was there.
"You guys Discord is back Twilight screamed." The music stopped and everything just sat still like time froze.
"We need to make a plan to kill him I told them." We all talked about a plan on what to do. "Alright everypony get some rest tomorrow were going to Equestria." We all went to sleep in the hotel that Pinkie rented out.
