Nick woke up, his head feeling as if he had gotten drunk back in Los Vegas, he looked around and saw he was in a dark, quiet forest, he got up, felt pain in his legs, and got out some pills. He gulped some and saved half. He reached for his SMG, didn't find it, and pulled out his Magnum. He looked around and nudged Rochelle, then pulled Ellis on his feet. "Ah don't feel right, dem sons of bitches got me good.." Nick gave a shaky chuckle, "Heh...Shut up, Ellis. We just fell, what, like..10 feet?" Rochelle chuckled "I dunno, felt like over 20 to me." Nick pulled up Ro and looked around, "Uhh...Do you think we are still in Savanna?" Ellis simply shook his head, Ro pulled out a Medkit and started patching herself up, suddenly, a loud *ROAR* was heard, "...Tank..." Nick cursed. They all began readying their weapons, Rochelle said quietly "Umm..Guys? I have a feeling that is NOT a tank.." once she paid more attention to the roar. While the tank sounded like a rabid animal, this sounded like a hurt animal, and another sound was heard, a quiet, female voice. It was saying "My, you shouldn't be going out this late at night, Mr. Manticore, please be careful next time!" Ellis looked confused, "Did she just say...Manticore?...Ah swear we are in a cartoon or something...Come to think of it." He then held up a finger, and whispered "Quiet, y'all." The sound of quiet screeching and sobbing were heard, the sobbing from the same quiet female voice..Infected...
Nick shouted "DON'T WORRY! WE ARE COMING!" and ran into the area of the sobbing. He dropped his pistol.
"..Ellis?.." Nick said quietly to Ellis, who was standing next to him, looking really happy, with a large grin on his face. "Yea, Nick?" "..Is that a..Pony?" Ellis nodded happily, "Sure is!..Wait...Ah hell no!" Ellis realized that the sobbing was caused from a infected pony trying to get into the small cottage.The pony had rainbow hair, and wings that were decaying, with bits of splintered bones on it's hooves. Ellis quickly shot the pony, but it wasn't getting killed. It was obiviously a Special infected. The pony looked at Ellis, lowered it's front hooves, and pounced. It was digging it's hooves into Ellis' chest, tearing his shirt apart. Nick pulled out his pistol and shot the rainbow pony, straight through the head. It fell immediatley. Ellis got up and shuddered "...Ah change my mind about being happy and all that shit..." Nick gave a chuckle, and said "Alright, now. Let's hope the person inside isn't a pony.." Nick's hope was dashed, however. As the yellow Pegaus inside was, indeed, a Pony.
Rainbow Dash..No...It couldn't have been, it couldn't! But even as she thought about it, Fluttershy knew that her Pegasus friend was dead. "R-Rainbow Dash..No.." she said, very quietly. She was unaware of the 3 new arrivals. A silence drew over the place untill Ellis said "Umm..Ma'am?...Are you okay..?" as he put down his pistol on a nearby table. Nick looked confused, but tried to be respectful, as obviously the Pegasus just lost a friend. He looked a little guilty too, as he WAS the one who put a bullet in her friend's brain. Fluttershy said quietly "*Sniff*..Y-Yes...A-Are you going to e-eat me?..." Nick couldn't help but snicker a little, but covered it up as a cough. Ellis looked at Nick angrily and said "'Course not! We're not infected! Sorry about your friend..." Fluttershy resisted the urge to sob some more and said "W-We were just going to g-go visit Twilight..O-Oh rainbow Dash..." Rochelle spoke for the first time "Uhh..What is your name?" Fluttershy wiped her eyes with her hooves and said "F-Fluttershy..." Ellis said "Could you bring us to y'all's friend?...Twilight?.." Fluttershy nodded and said "W-We'd better sleep first...Nighttime is dangerous here in the Everfree F-Forest.."
