Introductions

"Garrett...Garrett!" a nearly inaudible voice called. It was muffled and rather hard to interpret. "Garrett!" It called once more. This time, it was clear, causing the boy to spring up in fear. "What! Where am I? What round is it?" Garrett rubbed his eyes to clear his vision. Once his vision was clear, he looked around, seeing he was still at school. He had fallen asleep.

"So, did I miss anything?" Garrett yawned, looking around the room to see three of his friends. Their names were Luke, Conor, and Colton.

"No, not really. Miss Cheer went into a story about the 1960's and her high school years. All that junk," Luke said, twirling a pencil in one hand. Garrett sat up in his seat, directing his attention to the teacher.

"Is she finally finished?" Colton said, leaning over Conor's desk.

"No, but it's gotten interesting. She said there was a huge chick fight one day."

He was interrupted by Luke. "Those are always fun, unless it revolves around a guy. Then things get ugly, and a helluva lot more interesting." Luke chuckled, returning to his seat as Colton rolled his eyes.

"How childish. Tell me again why do I bother with you people." Seeing as that was a rhetorical question, nobody answered.

Afterwards, more talking ensued. Corny puns and cheap references were made.

Maybe about 10 minutes later, she had finished. "Well, enough about me," said Miss Cheer. The whole class let out a sigh in joy.

"Very funny. But I have an announcement to make. There will be some new kids in the class!" Some kids perked up at this; the classic school bullies were always interested in new students.

Just then, six girls walked into the room. Each of them had oddly colored hair (save one, who was blonde). There were whispers through the class as Miss Cheer said, "girls, why don't you introduce yourselves, then take a seat?"

One of the girls stepped forward. She had shiny purple hair; an expensive looking hairstyle,a snow white dress, and a tint to make it kind of glow. The girl explained that her name was Rarity. People looked confused, but no-one said anything. She explained how her parents just moved into town, and owned the new fashion franchise every girl was clambering about.

Another of the girls stepped forward. Her name was Applejack, or AJ for short. People looked oddly at each other, but damned if they cared. It's not like they'd become friends. AJ looked like the the complete opposite of Rarity in every single way.She had freckles, long blond hair in a ponytail, and good grass stains on her knees, and tall leather boots with places for spokes on the back. She didn't look happy at the time she was talking, which usually led to that expression on her face which said "I don't really care"

The third girl stepped up looked unusually perky, like a living ball of energy. She had pure pink hair. This girl explained her name was Pinkie and how her parents were out of town, and living with her family friends is tons of fun. Pinkie talked fast, and immediately stepped aside, probably eager to meet new friends.

The fourth girl to appear was wearing a purple and black sweater vest, and Rayband glasses. Her hair was purple, with a darker purple and magenta streak going right through her hair. Her name was Twilight. Twilight explained how she was a such a fan of stuff like dragons, magic, and Anthropology. Some people assumed she was a geek from the start, and tuned out. That, or they tuned out a while ago.

Next of the girls took sometime to notice it was her turn. Her hair was all sorts of colors, blue, red, purple. This unique girls name was Rainbow Dash. People actually laughed at this. The ones that laughed were generally dicks, and Garrett gave one a sharp kick under the table. She wore nothing more than a cyan tracksuit with her favorite track team on the back. This girl gave no information on anything. No family info. No social life info. Nothing.

Nearing the end of the period, they asked the 6th girl to introduce her self. She didn't seem so willing. In fact, she stood behind Rainbow. All that could be seen was light pink hair, with a yellow turtle neck, and pink jeans. She simply smiled a bit, a returned to her seat as the bell rung.

"Okay class, just remember, no homework for spring break coming up!" Miss Cheer said, neatly arranging some graded papers as the class of eager students poured out of the class rooms, heading to their lockers so they could rush to the buses as fast as they could sprint. Sometimes first graders cried, complained, or were even injured; But it was worth it. Lockers were only available for the upper grades; 6, 7 and 8. SkyScraper was grades 1-8th

Garrett rushed to his locker, kicked it in a certain place, and it swung open. He pulled out a snapback hat, a trickboard, and a thick pair of sunglasses. Luke, Conor and Colton were by their lockers, waiting for the digital clock to strike 1:30.

"Take a look at the new girls?" Luke said, chuckling, resetting the combination on his locker. "If I should, I think her name was Rarity. Quite an ensemble, no?" Colton said as he closed his locker, fixing his shirt vest. "I"m going to pretend I know what that means, and Luke, that sounds perverted" Said Conor. "Exactly." Luke replied. Conor sighed and started walking with Colton and Luke as Garrett did a grind down the stair rail, teachers running after him.

Luke saw the girl, Rainbow Dash, looking at him impressively. She was also wearing a Deadmau5 shirt, Garrett's favorite artist. "Those two would be perfect together," Commented Luke. Colton and Conor nodded in agreement. Then, Rarity walked by, followed by a trail of "You're Hot" Whistles. As she passed Colton bowed, held out his hand and said "May I offer to walk you to your bus, Madame?" She smiled and took his hand a Colton led her off to the bus ramp. "Did he just...?" "Yeah. He just scored a girl."
