Epilogue
Three years later. You begin to cry as you hold the messy bundle in your foerhooves. You stare into Rainbow Dash's eyes as they slowly close. Your in the ponyville hospital, standing at the bed Dash is laying in. Your surrounded by your closest friends, all who have a tear in their eye. The doctor walks up to you and puts a hoof on your shoulder. "Congrats, hes a healthy baby boy." Dash opens her eyes and smiles. You kiss her and hand the baby colt to his mother. Twilight walks up "What are you going to name him?" You think for a moment. "Well hes the same color as me and i'm thunder, so Lightning?" You look at Dash and she agrees. "Yes, and hes going to be incredibly fast. Almost as fast as me." "How do you know." She grins. "Look at how streamlined he is, and he has your powerful muscle in his DNA. Plus have you felt how light he is? And lets not forget the most important factor, I'm his mother." She grins as you laugh at her logic. But t does make sense. "So Lightning Dash?" You say, feeling the name out. It doesn't quiet fit. Dash shakes her head. "No. How about Lightning Flash." You smile as everypony around you agrees. "Yes that's a perfect name. Twilight send Lightning Flash's birth certificate to the Princesses for there seal if you please." She nods once, throwing you a salute and martches into the doctors office with spike. You kiss Dash and your son on the forehead and think back to that party so long ago. You laugh as you remember what you said to yourself and realize that that saying fits your life perfectly. You turn towards Dash and kiss her once more. "Life is good." She smiles and nods in aggrement. "Life is real good".
