I made my way to the Canterlot Time office. I need to know who could have a reason to kill the victim. As I entered the building I saw a secretary mare she had glasses and she was scribbling something on some papers. She then saw me walking in. ``Oh hello what can I do for you?``
``I’m a lawyer for the case of the murder of Picture Flash and I need all the information I can have.``
``Oh another lawyer who’s name is Solid Proof took almost all what is concerning Picture I don’t know if we have anything important left but we can check.``
``Thanks`` She guide me to a little room full of cases. We stop at one with the name Picture Flash on it.
``All what is left is her personal journal if she was still here no one would touch it but if it’s can help the case...`` She trail off and I silently nodded.
``Thank you I will do my best to find the truth.`` I took the diary and left the office.

This morning I met somepony really strange he was wearing a mask and a cloak over him he said to come in a certain alley in Ponyville tonight that it’s was about what I was researching. Does he really know anything about the Soul Reapers? And does he know that I tried to find the truth about them? But If he know anything this will be the scoop of the century almost everypony have heard of them but nopony actually know a single member of this criminal organisation. He didn’t want to say his name but I discretely pick his identity card I know it's bad but there no way I’m following this weird dude without at least his name. His name is Time skip

``Now I remember I’ve heard of him the first day I died. Ok I should talk about this with Celestia she seem to know something.``

I arrived the throne room where Celestia was. She looked very bored there waiting that somepony talk to her. Her life must suck if she had do this for more than one thousand years.
``Hello Peace Dreamer what are you doing here?`` Celestia seem happy to see a familiar face.
``Princess do you know anything about the Soul Reapers?`` Her expression became very serious at that question.
``It’s a dangerous organisation of criminals who want to overthrow the Elders and rule over the world. They are the last rebels of the war of that happened three thousands years ago. we tried everything to find their identities but almost nopony know a single name of the member of this group, but why do you ask?``
``Just a inch that it could be important in my case, thanks Princess`` I then walk outside of the castle as Celestia was continuing to receive other ponies complaining about something or another.

I pass a few hours in Ponyville trying any clues but almost nothing was left. I had a plan but it’s was dangerous I had take my sword with me and I made my way in an alley were no one could see me and I pay attention to every single noise I could hear.
I heard very quiet footsteps behind me. I quickly draw my sword and hit whoever was behind me. Two blades meet each other screetching in fury for trying to kill their owners. ``I knew these cowards would send an assassin they're are afraid that someone will find the truth huh? You will pay for killing this innocent mare Time Skip.``
``You know my name this will make thing way simpler.`` The man pull off his mask and grin at me as my breath caught in my throat. "Did you miss me Dreamy? You should thank me I sent you to your precious girly favorite world."
I couldn't believe it this face hunt my dreams since I came in Equis. This was the man who had kill me back on Earth. "Why did you kill me?!" I demand in rage and he smirk.
"I simply wanted to see an old friend." Then without warning he charge at me and I swung my sword and cut his torso. He then suddenly disappeared with a yellow flash of light and I suddently had two cuts on my chest out of nowhere.
``They don’t call me Time Skip for nothing Dreamy`` I was shock this was exactly the same light that made the truck appear and made my family disappear before the collision, so he was really the one that killed me. In my daze I didn’t noticed that he had appear behind me, he swung his weapon at me again, but I jump in the air with my wings when he stumbled in front of me I dive on him and tackle him on the ground.
``I don’t normally swing that way but for you I can make an exception.`` He said with a sly wink, I punched him on his nose and he fell unconscious. I threw away his sword and I attach him on my back with a rope and I began to fly in direction of Canterlot. I was surprised I could lift a full grown human. But I guess even if I'm not a Earth Pony the ponies in general are strong enough to lift something bigger than themselves.

I arrived at the throne room once again. ``Oh Dream already back?`` Celestia ask me. She then saw me with the guy on my back and the two cuts on my chest. ``What happen to you my little pony?`` She said it! Okay serious matter first stupid references later.
``He attack me when I was trying to search evidences.`` Celestia expression became somber.
``Guards!`` The two guard who were standing in front of her throne saluted to Celestia and await her command.
``Take him in jail and question him be any means normally authorized.`` They both nodded before taking care of Time Skip.
``You should rest Dream.`` The Princess said with concern.
``Even if I want to I can’t I have to defend Carl tomorrow.`` She sigh.
``Ok I will begin the trial later tomorrow I have a guest room close of my chamber go rest now!`` I hung my head I knew there was no valid arguments I could say against the sun goddess. I sigh with a small smile and made my way to the guest room.

I woke up and found out the trial was in twenty minutes. I quickly prepare myself and go to the recess room. Where I was met by the familiar duo of Twilight and Applejack but there was also Brew this time.
``Hey Brew I heard you got laid.`` Both Twilight and Brew sputtered Applejack had the same teasing smile as me.
``We didn’t do it yet!`` Then she facehoof realising she just admit she was in couple, I laughed.
``Don’t worry you two make a cute couple I just like to tease you.``
They give me stinks eyes. ``You are evil.`` Said Twilight
``Aww don’t be like that sugarcube.`` Applejack said with a poorly hidden smirk. But before I could hear their reply I saw that the court was beginning again.
``I must go girls see you later.``

``Is the defense ready?`` Celestia ask.
``Yes your honor.``
``Is the prosecutor ready?``
``Yeah let's go,`` Solid Proof said with a frown.
``The prosecution call the next witness.`` A human entered the chamber he had a black hair, a red shirt with some orange short pants and he had a yellow infinity sign tattooed on his right hand. He had a cut on the torso. This was the guy of yesterday.
``Name and occupation.``
``Time Skip, time traveller.`` The ponies in the crowd look at him in disbelief.
``That not what my case said.`` Solid Proof said with a unimpressed expression.
``Fine but time traveller sound way cooler." He huff indignantly as if he was a kid who had been forbidden to have candies, this is really the guy that killed me? "I’m one of the elites of the Soul Reapers, when something create them trouble I make time paradoxes so that the problem become... Non-existent.`` Almost all the ponies gasp and began to shout disapprovingly at the man. Is this why he killed me? But that make no sense how could a guy like me create problems for a terrorist group that plan to overthrow the Elder Gods?
*SLAM* *SLAM * *SLAM * ``ORDER, ORDER, ORDER IN THE COURT!``
``Yes I’m working with criminals but you have no proof that I’m connect to this case.`` Time Skip said with a smirk as if he arleady won great as if one smart ass wasn't enough.
``OBJECTION!`` I slam my hoof at the desk. ``The defense would want to show some evidences.`` Celestia nodded.
``TAKE THAT!`` I show them the journal of Picture Flash.
``The court accept this as evidence.`` Celestia said.
``So? That prove nothing he was cloak with a mask it’s could be someone else who had steal my identity card.`` He said with an encouraging smile as if he wanted me to find the truth. Is it just a game to this guy?
``Yes it could be someone else if you didn’t own the exact same cloak.``
``TAKE THAT`` I show them a picture of him with the cloak without his mask that I had take yesterday after putting him unconscious. He smirk at me and wait to see what would happen next.
``OBJECTION!`` Cried Solid Proof ``Ok maybe he is a suspect in the case but that doesn't prove that the defendant is any less guilty.``
``TAKE THAT!`` I show them the letter Carl have show me yesterday. ``Carl had receive a letter for him to go in the alley at six forty that night but he got here at six thirty instead and the killer then murdered the victim in front of the defendant!``
``OBJECTION! We found his fingerprints all over the soul catcher but we didn’t find any fingerprints from anypony else how do you explain that?`` I point at Time Skip
``Simple he had glove on his hands, you couldn't have found any fingerprints from him! After the witness killed the victim he put the gem into Carl hand to have some evidences so that Carl would become a suspect.``
``OBJECTION! this still don’t explain what are his motives.`` He's really grasping at straw doesn't he?
``Someone had ordered to kill the girl because she had too much information about the organisation.`` I replied.
``OBJECTION! Do you have any evidences?`` Seriously? Give up arleady!
``TAKE THAT!`` I gave Celestia the letter I had found in the alley.
``What does this mean mister Dreamer?`` Celestia ask me in confusion.
``Place the majuscule letter and you will see what was his orders.``
``K-I-L-L-T-H-EG-I-R-L-T-O-N-I-G-H-T`` she said placing the letter together. ``Kill the girl tonight.``
``Good work Dreamy, you did a good job putting me on the scene of the crime.`` Time Skip clap his hands as if he was watching a show.
``OBJECTION!`` Cried Solid Proof ``What does this prove?``
``Simple the witness received the order to kill the victim because as I said she was begining to know too much about the Soul Reapers after the crimes he want to make someone else pass guilty for his murder and choose the person who he through no one would miss. A human who arrived in Equis only a few days ago.``
*Clap* *Clap* *Clap* Before anyone could say anything else a sarcastic applause coming from Time Skip interrupt us. ``Bravo Dream bravo you found the truth I am so scared now.`` He keep a serious face for about a second before he burst out laughing. ``The only reason I am in this trial it’s because I wanted to have some fun, well I guess you piece almost everything together so let me tell you the rest.``
``If you are the killer why hide it if you plead guilty now?`` Ask the goddess of the sun.
``Oh but what fun would there be to simply tell everypony that I’m the murderer?`` This remind Celestia of an old enemy and she narrow her eyes. "Anyway I'm a member of an almost extinc race-" He began to say but was interrupted by Solid Proof.
"What do you mean your race is almost extinct? The humans are one of the most common race!"
Time Skip sigh in frustration. "Race is not the correct term let's go with member of a lost civilisation. I'm a survivor of Oasis." Half of the crowd gasp while the other half was confused. "With no world to call home I join the Reapers in return of having a place to call home I offer my services of time traveller."
"That does not excuse what you have done, now that you told us what you've done you will be imprison for quite a while." Celestia state.
``That what you think now that you have enough information about who I am I must go, oh and Dream.`` I glared at him. ``We will see each other in the future or in the past, the
next time I will see you I will not let you win the fight that easily.`` He was about to escape but Celestia cried. ``Guards! Don’t let him escape!``
Two guards charge at him but he kept his smug smile and suddenly disappeared out of sight and appeared behind the guard to the left. He gave him a kick on his helmet and he fell on the ground unconscious.
The other guard was a Unicorn and threw a magic beam at him he took the helmet of the other guard and reflect the beam back to the owner of the magic spell and he too fell on the ground not moving.
``Ahahahah it's was good seeing you again Celly, I think the last time I saw you I was still called Free Dreamer but I guess I'm not worthy of that name anymore.`` He clap his hands together and he disappeared in a yellow aura leaving no trace of his existence.
Celestia seem shocked about the revelation of Time Skip's old name but regain her composure. ``I guess this prove enough to the court, I will now give my verdict the defendant is.``
``NOT GUILTY!`` But no one was celebrating there where either too sad since the killer escaped or too shock after all that happened in the court room.

``You did it you save Carl!`` Twilight exclaim joyfully.
``Yeah,`` I said whitout emotion.
``What the problem are you not happy about your victory?`` She ask confused.
``Time Skip escaped and who know what he's going to do now.``
``Shook don’t be pessimist sugarcube even if it’s true you win and Carl is free.`` I smiled at the cowgirl.
``You’re right I guess``

There was a reunion betweens dangerous looking creatures there where all around a big rectangular table. A wolf with a black cloak spoke up ``This incompetent of Time Skip revealed our existence to the legendary fake goddess we should banish him of this organization.`` All the table began to agree with him.
But then a slender woman with green hair and a white cloak slam her fist on the table. ``Silence! It’s true that he is a sword with double edge and he does thing in his own way. But he is a precious member of this organisation because of his ability to travel in time. Once we find enough Shards of Life we can get rid of him."
She then pump her fist in the air. ``For the redemption of the mortals who think the council make good leaders of the worlds we must keep him.`` The others sigh and nodded.
``Good now Celestia will probably report our actions to Author and the other Elders Gods now that they know that we still continue our rebellion we must be on our guards the access to the Gaia world will probably be more difficult form now on. But that not what will stop us to collect the shards.`` The other nodded.
``The reunion is over now I must prepare for my next trip.`` And like that the wolf, the troll, the mysterious woman and the others began to go to their respective worlds.
