It has been three years since Twilight’s disappearance, her friends and family looked for her across all of Equestria but the ponies claimed that they didn’t saw her. It has been like this everyday, searching for the lonely and broken purple mare, her friends felt guilty for not believing her, for making her feel unwanted, for making her run away and Shining Armor most of all, felt worse than anypony could imagine.
Although his parents were furious at their son for being harsh at his sister at first, they nonetheless contribute the search for their daughter, but to no avail. Eventually, Shining Armor and Princess Cadence got married but the wedding wasn’t the same without Twilight as the mare of honor.
One day a familiar light blue pony with a hat and a cape that had stars in them came back to ask forgiveness for what she has done in the past, it took all her willpower and pride swallowing to ask the ponies of the town to forgive her.
The ponies eventually forgave her and welcomed her back. Celestia acknowledged her magic talent after she saw her swatting away some timberwolves that were trying to make their way to Ponyville, thus Celestia decided that she would be Twilight’s replacement as Element of Magic until they find her. After hearing the news, Spike and the other element bearers obviously weren’t comfortable with this, they wanted their friend back not some showpony.
Celestia didn’t wanted this either but an element of magic was needed, the safety of her country is as important as her prized student’s. Shining Armor didn’t agreed much on this but the orders of a princess are absolute, he couldn't do anything to prevent this. Cadence was still dedicated in finding Twilight. For each passing day, her devotion grew stronger and stronger, she will not rest until she finds Twilight.

Present Day.
As time went on everypony has gotten used to Trixie being in the town, she was appointed as Celestia’s student and new element of magic which made her happy, luckily for the rest of element bearers though, she wasn’t as egocentric, boastful, and arrogant as she was in the past. Spike was glad that Trixie treats him well but he still missed Twilight dearly, and knows that Trixie can never replace Twilight.
Eventually, the remaining five fought and blamed one another for Twilight’s disappearance. Each of them called each other out during the night of her disappearance. For example: Pinkie Pie made Twilight miserable, Applejack for lying about Twilight’s well-being, Rainbow Dash for abandoning her, Fluttershy showing cruelty, and Rarity not thinking about Twilight. The last time they’ve fought was after their umpteenth failed search, they’ve met one last time in Twilight’s old library.
“It was your idea that we check on the princess!” Rarity snapped at the cowpony, “We only left her because you said so.”
“Well, you could’ve told me before we left!” Applejack defended. “Ya’ll were too selfish to thought about her!”
“Look who’s talking!” Rarity scoffed. “You said she’s going to be okay but she’s gone thanks to you!”
“How could you be so mean Fluttershy?” Pinkie Pie angrily asked. “I thought you were the Element of Kindness!”
“You’re no Element of Laughter either! You could’ve cheered her up but you left her instead.” Fluttershy said harshly before sadly declaring. “We’ve left her instead...”
“Let’s face it, we’re only friends because of Twilight, and look how we treated her!” Rainbow Dash yelled at them before breaking down to tears. “It’s all our fault, and Twilight thinks we don’t love her anymore.”
“We’re hypocrites to our elements...just...terrible hypocrites...” Agreed Rarity.
“It’s all our fault...” Applejack sniffled before wiping her tears away with her hat.
“We’re nothing more but selfish mean ponies...” said Pinkie Pie as her hair deflated.
“Twilight can never forgive us.” Rainbow Dash said. “We’re no better than Discord.”
This has brought a negative change towards the remaining element bearers, Applejack learned how to lie without sweating and she lies more frequently. Rainbow Dash is spending more time flying than to be with her friends, less loyal basically. Fluttershy is more assertive but not enough to make her a rude jerk like that one time. Rarity has become more greedy rising her prices more, she even stopped doing dresses for free to her friends. Pinkie Pie became more aggressive, she didn’t smile anymore and it was a miracle if she did a party to a new pony. In fact, Pinkie vowed that she’ll never do a party again until she can do a apology party for Twilight.
Meanwhile, in a dark room, a shadowy figure is watching the ponies of Ponyville doing their daily activities from one of its many monitors, but what caught the figure’s attention was five of the element bearers and a pink alicorn with her husband pacing back and forth.
"Looks like they're having trouble finding what they are looking for," The figure said,looking at Cadence. “Maybe I can do something to relieve her stress.” A little red dot shined in the darkness of the room while a creepy laugh filled the dark room.
“Boss, is it time?” Asked another bipedal figure that was bowing at the leader’s chair that was facing away from him.
“Indeed it is, the destruction of Equestria is near.” The leader said, one of it’s monitors focusing on the city of Canterlot.

In a balcony of one of the castle towers Celestia is gazing at the city and Ponyville in the horizon, it’s been three years since Twilight left and there were no signs of her whereabouts, there were times when some think they saw a purple unicorn around but it always ended in a dead end.
She was about to give up on many occasions but Cadence’s determination always gave her hope back, too bad that she will have to call off the search.
Luna walked up behind her sister, she’s looking at the city again. It’s obvious that she misses her faithful student, everypony does, her disappearance had a big impact on everypony. She walked to Celestia and stood up to her side, accompanying her in her sightseeing.
“Nice day, isn’t it?” Luna asked, slightly surprising Celestia.
“I guess it is.” Celestia replied.
They shared a moment of silence so they could watch their subjects doing their daily business, watching the ponies passing by reminded her of Twilight when she was a little filly. She was always eager to learn something new from her mentor, she even brought her favourite doll Smarty Pants to some of the lessons, she was so happy back then.
Luna turned to her sister that’s been shedding a couple of tears and sobbing quietly, she must be thinking about Twilight, everypony is in fact. Her disappearance has hurt everypony, specially when they forbidden her to go to the wedding. Even though they temporarily replaced her with Trixie, it was still Twilight’s friends, her family and because they didn’t trust her, she’s gone. Luna wiped the tears off Celestia’s face and gave her a sad look.
“You’re thinking about Twilight Sparkle again, are you?” Luna said with a saddened tone.
“Yes,” Celestia said crying once more “I can’t rest knowing that my faithful student is out there all alone, she must think that we no longer love her, that we hate her, and that we don’t want to see her again.”
Her sadness grew stronger every time she tried to describe how the purple unicorn felt after they left her alone that day. Finally, she embraced Luna crying as loud as she can.
“I want her back,” Celestia sobbed “Please Twilight come home, I’m sorry for not believing you. I miss your friendship letters, I miss your visits, your friends and family miss you. So please come home, please...”
Luna could do nothing more than just hug her, Celestia is one of the three ponies that took the worst since Twilight left and making one of the rulers of Equestria cry like this was no easy task. They sat there embracing each other, not caring if anyone else hears, Celestia need comfort right now.
I hope that you’re safe Twilight Sparkle, things are a mess without you.

It’s that time of the week where Rarity and Fluttershy go to the spa to relieve their stress, it’s been through ever since that day three years ago. Even though Trixie changed for the better that doesn’t make their lives any better. The two ponies were relaxing on the jacuzzi, washing away the pressure and stress from their work.
“I’m telling you, Angel is getting on my nerves,” Fluttershy said, getting furious “He think’s he’s the one who calls the shots, that evil son of a feather thinks I’m gonna put up with his attitude forever, well guess what, it’s my house and my rules!”
“I know how you feel darling,” Rarity said “Lately everypony is thinking that because I’m the Element Of Generosity I will do free dresses for them, no need to say how wrong they are.”
They’ve kept talking about their lives for the next 15 minutes, but soon they touch the topic that’s impossible not to talk about, their disappeared friend Twilight Sparkle.
“Everything was better when Twilight was around.” Fluttershy said giving a sigh and looking at the ceiling.
“I know darling, me too,” Rarity said getting closer to the yellow pegasus and putting a hoof on her shoulder “But things change, ponies change, times change, everything changes.”
“But we abandoned her too, we didn’t trust her, do you think she will forgive us? Oh, why did we do such cruel things to her?”
“I know Twilight dear, she will be back very soon, I’m certain that she will forgive us.”
Fluttershy looked up to the white unicorn giving her a reassuring smile, making her smile too. That smile, it was as if it’s saying that Twilight is still out there safe and sound. They still believe that their favorite bookworm will return one day, and when that happen they shall apologize to her and they will all be friends again.
Suddenly, a loud explosion was heard from the outside, making a short earthquake that shook the entire building. Waking up the two ponies from their relaxation. Next, the town’s siren blared throughout the surrounding area.
“Prepare to evacuate Ponyville immediately!” Mayor Mare called from the town’s loudspeaker. “This is not a drill! I repeat, this is not a drill!”
Both Rarity and Fluttershy knew they had to cut their spa time short and got off the tub to hastily dry themselves. In normal circumstances, Rarity would like to dry her mane but their current situation wasn’t appropriate at this time.
Just after the two ponies finished drying, Aloe ran up to them with a terrified look, as if she just saw an incredible disaster.
“Miss Rarity! Thank goodness I found you, you have to get out of here!” She said really scared.
“Calm down, what’s going on?” Rarity asked, putting her towel down. “Where’s Lotus?”
“There’s no time to explain! We have to get out now!”
The pink pony grabbed them by their front hooves before the could say something else, the explosions became more frequent the closer they got to the exit. Neither of them had time to finish drying their mane, much to Rarity’s discomfort. Fluttershy looked around to see that the spa was burning, the only possibility that she can think of this happening is that some sort of war have been declared or something much worse.
Aloe opened the door to reveal what was going on, everypony was running away trying to save themselves from some kind of fire-spitting dogs with their blue colored fur covering most part of their body, they were as tall as a Diamond Dog.
There were also some weird small creatures holding a pickaxe despite of not having anything to hold them with, they have yellow construction hats with a green cross on the front, their big eyes almost cover half of their black face and they have small yellow legs, slightly smaller than a grown pony.
They wasted no time and ran to the city hall to take refuge, but three blue dogs were chasing after them shooting their explosive fireballs to them. Somehow they managed to dodge some of the dogs attacks but some had hit Rarity and Fluttershy, leaving burn marks on their coats.
Even though Rarity was complaining about how they almost burned her precious mane, they kept on determined to make it to the refuge, it was only meter away but the pickaxe creatures were busy with the houses making some parts of them fall in front of the three ponies. They barely dodged the falling debris, with the only casualty was that a brick found it’s way to Aloe’s forehead, putting her out of commission.
With their destination so close, Rarity carried on her back the unconscious spa pony and hurried on to safety. They saw a lot of ponies entering the building, some are injured, eventually they managed to get in time along with the everypony else, Fluttershy closed the dog’s snout before they would get the chance to get in.
The town hall was a complete mess, there were medics attending the ponies who weren’t so lucky as the others, some pegasi are busy barricading the windows so they wouldn’t but inside and the remaining ones were looking for any escape routes but to no avail.
“The horror, the horror!” cried Lily.
“We’re doomed!” Roseluck bemoaned.
“It’s the end of the world!” shouted Daisy.
“Where are the Royal Guards?” Mayor Mare demanded to one of her aides.
“I just got a report that Ponyville isn’t the only settlement under attack!” The aide replied. “In fact, every major city and town is under siege by the same creatures.”
The situation sounded worse than it seemed, a terrorist attack of this scale has never happened before, whoever is behind this has an incredible set of firepower and resources to conduct something like this.
“Aloe!” Lotus called them from the crowd. “I was off to get some supplies when the attack occurred, what happened to her?”
“She was knocked unconscious when she got us out of the spa,” Rarity explained. “ Please seek medical attention.”
“I’m sorry about what happened to your spa Lotus,” Fluttershy said sympathetically. “What will you do?”
“Don’t worry about the spa, because at least the Aloe is safe,” Lotus replied, although both Rarity and Fluttershy saw tears were rolling down from her cheek. Although neither of them know if it’s whether it’s from the loss of their spa or Aloe’s wellbeing,
After leaving Aloe and Lotus to the doctors a certain cyan pegasus flied to her friends.
“Thanks Celestia you’re okay,” Rainbow said flying above them “It’s madness out there! The whole town is burning and falling apart!”
“We know dear,” Rarity said looking around worried “We never faced a crisis as big as this, it’s just too much to handle.”
“So what? You’re giving up?” Another voice was heard, turning around it was coming from Trixie trotting towards her friends. “It’s our duty to protect this town, it’s what she would have wanted.”
They shared a moment of silence, knowing exactly what she was talking about, nodding their heads they formed a circle to discuss the next course of action.
“So what do we do? Those dog’s fireballs explode when they hit something.” Dash said.
“Not to mention that those pickaxe things can create shockwaves too,” Trixie said bringing a hoof to her chin “We’ve got no choice but to ambush them, it’s the best course of action.”
“Wait, what about Pinkie and Applejack?” Fluttershy asked worried.
“I’m sure that they are alright dear, trust me.” Rarity assured her.
Another earth shaking explosion filled their ears followed by a voice that they’ve never heard before.
“Listen up elements of harmony, bring your plots out here or I shall destroy your dear town until there’s nothing left of it.” His voice boomed through what seemed like a megaphone. It seems that the terrorist has finally revealed himself, he request the bearers of the elements of harmony to meet him face to face, but they are still unsure of this.
Looking at Trixie and remembering her words, they walked to the doors with a boost of courage but the other residents aren’t sure that they can make it.
“Are you insane? You’re gonna get killed!” Doctor Whooves warned
“I’ve done some crazy things in my life, but not like this.” called Berry Punch.
“You don’t stand a chance! Don’t throw your lives away!” cried Colgate.
The other ponies were concerned about losing them, but as bearers of the elements of harmony they can’t stand back, it’s their job to protect the harmony in the world, even if it means sacrificing their lives for peace.
“Let’s kick some butt Rainbow.” Fluttershy said looking at Dash.
“Heh heh, I never expected to hear that from you Fluttershy.” Dash replied
“If somepony mess with my friends, they mess with me.”
“Alright everypony, let’s go.” Trixie said bringing a hoof to the door and opens iit.

Outside of the city hall they have been greeted with a terrible scene, the buildings were burned to the ground, but oddly enough Sugarcube Corner and the library were still standing. In front of them was another weird creature with the other ones who destroyed the town behind him. He standed on only two legs, his chest was of a fan, his design looked like a fan with extremities, his eyes were yellow while his pupils were red, he had no mouth and he has a tornado symbol on his forehead.
The girls stared at him with confusion while Rainbow Dash was rolling on the ground laughing her lungs out.
“Is this some kind of joke?” Trixie thought aloud.
“What?” The creature replied “This is not a joke pony, I’m gonna kill you here and now.”
“How so? Refresh us to death?” Dash replied before she had another fit of laughter.
Annoyed at this point, he blew a gust of wind that sent the cyan pegasus through a house. Surprised by the sudden attack of the creature they turned back their attention to him.
“I am Airman, don’t underestimate me or I’ll rip you apart with my tornadoes.” Airman said.
Fluttershy flew where Rainbow Dash crash landed to check if she’s okay. In the meantime, Rarity and Trixie glared at Airman.Although they know that looks can be deceiving, but they never seen somepony or rather, something like Airman a dangerous threat.
“What do you want with us?” Trixie demanded after Airman demonstrated his power. “Or a better question, what do you have against Equestria?”
Airman gazed upon them, and if he had a mouth, he would be giving off an evil grin as he answered.
“Your lives.”
Airman’s fan began spinning summoning a gust of wind so strong that the ponies are having a hard time keeping their ground, the barricades on the town hall were being blown off by Airman’s attack. Fulttershy grabbed on what was left of a building with one hoof while grabbing an injured Rainbow Dash on the other hoof.
Trixie was formulating a plan while trying to not get blown away, she remembered that Rarity wasn’t gonna hold for long, so she pulled out her cape out of her saddlebag and held it out to her so she can grab on it.
Trixie had gone back to think for a plan now that the others are safe, he often uses wind based attacks, apparently he’s made of metal and he’s dead sent on killing the elements of harmony. That might work on their advantage.
“I got it! Fluttershy, keep that airhead busy!” Trixie yelled at Fluttershy, still holding on the building and Rainbow Dash.
“What? Are you insane?” Fluttershy screamed back.
“You have to trust Trixie! Is Rainbow Dash alright?”
“Yes, but barely!”
“Okay! Tell her to keep him busy too if she’s in condition!”
The yellow pegasus looked back at Dash, still holding on her hoof, she pulled her up and told her the plan that Trixie had in mind. The cyan pegasus nodded and she flew off along with her companion, Fluttershy had let go of the barely standing building to fight off Airman along with Dash.
“What about me?” Rarity yelled.
“If you know any freezing magic, then start casting the spell.” Trixie screamed back.
The two pegasi fought against Airman’s gale of wind before they took up out of his attack range, Airman made three small tornadoes out of his palms and launched it at the two pegasi in the sky. Rainbow dodged the tornadoes headed towards her in time, Fluttershy was nearly hit but she dodged it in time.
Meanwhile, Trixie was focusing her magic into casting the spell and Rarity was covering Trixie but she wished that she would help her other friends in distracting the strange new enemy, she had to trust in the blue unicorn’s plan for the time being.
The two pegasi finally got close to their enemy, they circled around him a couple of times before Rainbow Dash gave him a kick every now and then, sadly at the third time that she kicked Airman her legs began to hurt, she couldn’t keep this up forever. Airman took a chance at the cyan pegasus when she lowered her guard to check up on her injury to smack her so hard that she was sent back in front of Trixie.
“Annoying insects,” Airman said blasting away Fluttershy with a big tornado that he summoned “You call yourself Element Of Loyalty? And you Element Of Kindness? You’re pathetic!” Airman was getting close to Trixie and the others slowly to give them their doom.
Rainbow Dash got up despite her injuries, with Airman about to finish them off she turns to Trixie and says to her “What are you waiting for? Cast the spell!”
“I can’t,” Trixie replies, her horn shining brightly.
“Why?”
“Because it’s not done ye-” She’s cut off by the power of her horn grew even stronger, signaling that the spell it’s ready to be casted. Trixie looked at Airman with a smirk on her face “It’s done.”
Airman’s movement is starting to get slower and slower until he was unable to move, he looked at his legs to find that they were frozen, his body was freezing in fact. He tried mashing the ice as hard as he could but it was useless, the cold was going up to his waist followed by his arms.
“Wh-what the...?” Airman said, his movements getting slower and slower “H-how?”
“Blizzard spell,” Trixie said helping the injured cyan pegasus getting back on her hooves “I modified it a bit to make the air around you as cold as possible, leaving you to freeze completely.”
Airman laughed weakly, frozen up to the waist and on, it won’t be long before the spell takes over him completely. Fluttershy came along to check up on Rainbow, she was okay despite the beating she took from Airman but nothing that a first aid kit won’t fix.
“You think...this is...over?” Airman said, the freezing catching up to his fan “Y-You’re...wrong, we...are...Treble...they...will...destroy...everything...you...all...ho...ld...de...ar.” Finally Airman is completely frozen and defeated. The monsters that Airman had brought along had retreated, signaling the victory to not only Equestria, but to Harmony itself.
The ponies shared a sigh of relief and they all gave a group hug to Trixie, soon everypony else inside the town hall came out and praised their heroines for saving the town once more, the ponies kept cheering while Dash was the first to talk to Trixie.
“I gotta admit Trix, that was an awesome plan even if I got beat up a bit.” She said wrapping a hoof around her neck.
“All that’s left is to check on Pinkie and Applejack,” Trixie said. “Let’s hope those two are okay.”
The cheers died down when they heard the sound of something cracking, it was coming from Airman whose symbol detached and dropped to the ground. The cracking came from Airman’s symbol so everypony approached the symbol and they found a little piece of technology inside the symbol.
“On your guard everypony, this may be a trap.” Trixie said getting on a defensive stance.
The other element bearers did the same as the little piece that kinda looked like some sort of chip displayed a holographic screen, but all that was seen was static.
“Is that it?” Rainbow Dash asked “You could at least put some cable on this thing!”
“Rainbow, I doubt that our enemy wanted to give us a TV on it’s dying breath.” Fluttershy said.
But as the static died down, everypony gasped and their blood ran cold at what they saw on the screen. A lavander coated mare was locked up inside a futuristic-like cell crying, her mane and tail where dark purple with a pink streak on it, she definitely was a unicorn with a sparkling star cutie mark.
“TWILIGHT!!” The four ponies said at the same time in shock.
