Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Applejack and Fluttershy were traversing the temple. Twilight thought 'Be on your guard.'
Rainbow noticed some small dots on the walls and thought 'Hold it!'
Rarity said 'What are you doing Rainbow?'
The rainbow maned pegasus thought 'See these holes on the walls?' As she pointed to the dots. 'I'm sure the second we try to pass them they will shoot arrows or something.'
Pinkie thought 'Well wasn't the last trap caused by some hidden switch or something?'
Fluttershy looked around and thought 'There no other way!'
Applejack thought 'Guess we have to backtrack. Come on y'all.' She steeped on a switch and the path behind them closed. They now have no way but to go ahead. Applejack looked down and saw the switch 'Heh-heh oops.'
Rainbow Dash thought 'Great.' She looked at the dotted walls and thought 'Make sure to dodge the holes alright?'
The other ponies nodded. They went forward but then...
A bright red beam emerged from one of the holes and missed the ponies. Rainbow Dash thought 'Lasers this wasn't in any of my books.'
Twilight thought 'Did you read the one about crystal skulls?'
Rainbow thought 'No, not yet.'
The holes were now shooting out lasers to the opposite wall. The ponies ran forward evading the lasers. Rainbow Dash was flying high. Twilight tried to cast a barrier but the laser were shooting too fast. She then tried to teleport to the other side but then she saw her friends were still trying to dodge the lasers. Rainbow flew to get Fluttershy out of the lasers while Twilight teleported to save Rarity.
By the time the pegasi and unicorns were safe in front of a wall, the lasers were growing in diameter and began shooting all at once. Each beam was wider then the last. They were soon too big for Twilight's teleport spell to be successfully pulled off with ether her, Applejack or Pinkie unharmed. The earth ponies were evading the growing lasers but they were unable to reach the other side.
Rainbow Dash then decided to flying the lasers and save the remaining two ponies. She managed to get Pinkie Pie out before the lasers could hit her. Applejack however was still evading the beams kicking a wall with enough force to have the lasers aiming at the floor. Rainbow had managed to get to her and she said "Hold on!" She grabbed the farm pony by the hoof and flew as fast as she can. The orange mare galloped to keep up with her as they tried to avoid the horizontal and diagonal lasers.
The beams were now large enough to engulf both ponies in a single beam. Rainbow Dash and Applejack have little room to dodge the beams. The stunt-mare took some Rope and tied it to apple farmer. By this point all the lasers were charging up. Applejack said "Rainbow what are you doing?"
Rainbow Dash said "I won't let you die here!" When she finished tying up Applejack she bit the other end of the rope and threw the farm mare to her friends. Twilight saw what Rainbow was doing and made a soft surface for her to land on. She lat go of the rope and sent the orange earth pony flying away from the lasers and close to her friends. Dash then flew as fast as she could.
The beams finished charging. Rainbow was about to make it but the beams shot out all at once and hit her leg before she made it past them. Twilight and Fluttershy ended to the wound. Pinkie's ears were flopping, her eyes fluttered and her knees twitched. The wall behind them was lifting revealing a pathway.
"Rainbow are you okay?" Fluttershy said.
'I'm fine Fluttershy.' Rainbow Dash said. She trued standing up but her hind leg was unable to balance without Rainbow feeling serious pain. 'I can still fly.' She said as she lifted herself with her wings. They went ahead to find the thing Twilight saw earlier.

The Doctor's group were looking inside the hidden temple. Rose said "Doctor what is this place?"
The Doctor responded "A spaceship with a cloaking device outside and a perception filter inside."
River Song looked at the ponies with them. She thought 'You snog two hapless city guards and next thing you know you have horses explaining your reasons.'
Toola Roola said to Cheerilee "Do you think their going to be alright?"
"I hope so Toola Roola, I hope so." They saw The Cutie Mark Crusaders talking with Starsong.
The group eventually found a slope nearby. Rory said "Where's the boulder?"
The Doctor looked at the path and said "It already rolled down Rory." The Doctor knew that the ponies have been here. He also noticed something else. "We're being followed." And went to see just whom was trailing them.

Alexander the Great with 11 guards were exporting the temple, looking for anything suspicious. The King said "I will scout ahead." and left his guards.
Eventually the king of Macedon heard some screams. He saw a man with strange cloth on him. The man noticed him and said "So you're the one who followed us."
Alexander said "I am Alexander III, Alexander the Great, King of Macedon and ruler of all within my domain. And what is your name stranger?"
The Doctor lied "John Smith." he then said "My friends call me the Doctor. In fact everyone calls me the Doctor."
Alexander said "I had a strange felling to watch for anything suspicious. Tell me Doctor why I should let you live."
The Doctor said "I don't know. I see many reasons for me to die." Just then they heard screams in the distance. Alex said "My men!" As he and The Doctor returned to where Alexander was.
The Doctor's group heard the screams as well. River said "Oh dear. I'll go see where the Doctor went. You go ahead." And went to find the Doctor. The rest of the group went to find the ponies.
Back with The Doctor and Alexander. They have seen all of the guard that went with Alexander had been dead. Burnt to a crisp by lightning. Alex said "By Zeus why were my guards struck down?"
The Doctor said "Zeus wouldn't sent his bolts indoors without frying the place." He noticed some shadows. "But I know people that would."

Twilight's group was still looking for the spheres. Rarity saw several gems and started looking at them. Rarity saw a ruby, emerald, sapphire, turquoise, topaz, citrine and amethyst on several recesses on a wall and thought 'They're beautiful.'
Pinkie said "What's beautiful?" And saw the gem. Rarity forgot that the other 5 can some of her thoughts. She started levitating the 7 gems and the group moved on.

The Doctor and Alexander had some tally marks on their arm. Alexander was befuddled. he said "Doctor what sort of trickery is this?"
The Doctor explained about the Silents and three of their abilities. First their ability to make people forget ever meeting them. Then that they can make others do what the last suggestion or command was after forgetting them. Last he explained that the aliens can use lightning and that it was them who might have killed his guards.
Alex began to cough. The Doctor said "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine Doctor." Alex said. River came onto the scene. She said "Doctor."
The Doctor said "I'm fine River. Have you met King Alexander?"
River then saw the king and that their arms were marked. She saw the corpses nearby. The Doctor said "We need to go. The Silents are here." The trio went to find the others.

Rarity was was busy admiring her 7 gemstones she was lifting. She wondered what she could do with them. She arranged for them in a sort of rainbow pattern.
The group had made it to some sort of statue. There were several recesses in place of the nose, eyes, ears, and two holes where his mouth should be. A giant U-shaped chasm separated the statue from the rest of the room. The white unicorn noticed that the gems she was levitating were shaped oddly.
Twilight thought 'There's no way through.'
Rainbow Dash noticed Rarity's gems. She said "Where did you find these gemstones?"
Rarity said "I found them." She looked at the statue and thought 'And it looks like I won't be keeping them long. Twilight can you levitate me? I've an idea.'
Twilight thought 'I can try.' The purple mare levitated Rarity up the the statue's face.
Rarity noticed that emerald and ruby looked a lot like eyeballs and placed them in the eye sockets. She said "Okay than darling a little lower." She then placed the turquoise in the recess in the center of the statue's face and then placed the sapphire and citrine gems in the mouth. Rarity felt a little sorrowful about losing these gems but she know that her friends and their mission are more important then her fashion. She had the topaz and amethyst left. She said "Twilight please levitate me to the left side of the statue."
"Okay Rarity." Twilight said. Her spell was about to fade soon.
Rarity placed the topaz on the left recess and said "Now the other side." Twilight levitated Rarity to the right side of the statue and said "Good bye little amethyst. I hardly knew ye." and placed the yellow stone in the remaining socket.
She said "Okay I'm done."
Twilight was ready to levitate Rarity back to the floor but the spell broke midway. Rarity fell. Fluttershy saw this and flew to her friend. She caught the dressmaker just as she was about to hit the ground. and flew her the rest of the way.
Twilight said "Sorry about that Guess that platform took a lot out of me."
Rarity said "It's okay darling." She looked at the statue and thought 'In hindsight I probably should have just levitated the gems.'
Fluttershy knew Rarity better than anypony, considering their weekly spa treatments. The statue levitated into the chasm and revealed a open path. The statue then turned sideways and fell into the chasm to bridge the gap.
The ponies went ahead, feeling closer to their goal.
