During the battle of the bands...
“I want this Twilight, and your trying to take it from me! Some friend.”
“That’s not why-”
“Common Twilight, we got things to do!” Applejack took Twilight’s hand and they began walking away.
“You think your gonna help them?! I bet you have no idea what your even doing!”
After Twilight and the rest of the Rainboom’s walked away, Brawly went to do check the equipment and Ringo left to get his guitar. Flash rolled his eyes and began to walk off but a girl with fiery red hair and cyan eyes blocked his path. “What the heck?! Get out of my way!”
Sunset stood where she was, refusing to move. “I saw what just happened.”
“So?”
“So?! So!?! Is that all you have to say?! You made the princess of friendship cry!”
“And I’m supposed to care because?”
She scowled at him. “This is not you.”
“I’m pretty sure I’m me and you need to get out of my way!”
Sunset stared into his eyes, they were slightly tinted with a green magic, it was hardly noticeable. “Flash Sentry! I am talking to you! You need to listen, I know weave had a rough past and I was an awful person, but this is not the Flash Sentry I know and used to care for! Were’s the goofball who told awful jokes and always smiled no matter what the universe threw at him? Where’s the real Flash Sentry? This is not you Flash!”
Those words echoed through his mind, just, for a moment, the tint of magic left by the sirens vanished. “Wha-what happened? Sunset? Oh shit! I remember! Why was I such a jerk?!”
“I’m not sure how long your going to be snapped out of this curse but you need to listen! The Dazzling’s are sirens from Equestria! They feed off of hatred and anger, the more we give them the more they will control us! The Rainboom’s are trying to fix everything and Twilight’s writing a counter spell! You have to try to fight this Flash!”
Flash’s eyes tinted with the pale green magic again, and he pushed her out of the way. “Get out of here Sunset Shimmer! No one wants you here, your still the bitch you were back at the fall formal!” And he walked away, angry, mad, full of hate. And just as he reached the doors of the gym were Trixy and the allusions were currently playing, his own mind came back.
What have I done? Did I just say that? The Dazzling’s... there sirens from the other world! Sunset...I just ruined everthing! Why is Twilight writing the song though? Why had they not asked Sunset to write a counter spell? She’s the one who knew everything about writing songs! She hasn’t showed them any of her songs...but why? And how were they going to fix this? I was such a jerk! I just told Sunset what everyone thought of her to her face! And I just took away any confidence she had in herself being a better person now! I need to call someone...arrgg stupid curse! The magic of the sirens song reaturened, just as one last thought rang in his mind, Love, that’s what breaks this, Sunset said she used to care for me, love is the answer to all this, oh Sunset, I’m so sorry...
