Alicorn Body Sharing

Alternate Ending

Twilight did have one question though, tapping her chin as a thought came to her. "Does the spell have a time limit or something?" She asked.

Cadance shook her head, giggling. "No time limit, Twily. This will last for however long we want it to. But if we do want to separate back into our normal selves, we both have to want to do so. Which leads to another thing about this spell."

Now Twilight was concerned, though a part of her was also curious. "What do you mean?"

Cadance sighed. "The longer we stay like this, or in a form where I'm in the driver's seat, the more and more we will want to stay like this forever. To never separate back into our regular selves. I know you can already feel that. I know I do."

That stopped Twilight in her tracks, shocked at the idea. Now that she thought about it, she could feel that. Why should they separate back into their separate halves? This was way too much fun. She and Cadance were getting along great, and Twilight was really enjoying this new body of hers. Why should she stop now?

Cadance was feeling the same thing. While it was strange to be a passenger in her own body, she was rather getting used to this. Maybe it was part of the spell that she was thinking this? She didn't know. And a growing part of her didn't care.

For Twilight, the feeling was even more pronounced. She was fully comfortable in her new body at this point. And if she was being honest with herself, she never wanted this to end. Not now. Or maybe ever.

Cadance seemed to catch onto her thoughts, for her smile grew. "Do you want this to end, Twily? To be separate again? I'm enjoying way more than I ever thought I would."

It took Twilight all of two seconds to make up her mind, as her smile grew wider. "You know what Cady? I don't want this to end. Not now. Not ever. Being together like this is far more enjoyable than us being separated. If other ponies don't like it? Well. Who's going to tell us no?"

That was all it took it seemed, as the two of them felt their magic ignite, before merging together into one aura. The feeling it gave them was something that couldn't be put into words. But it was a feeling that they never wanted to end.

Twilight felt the connection to her old body vanish as if it had never been there, to begin with, and her connection with what used to be Cadance's body become fully attuned. Now, this was Twilight's body. Mind, body, and soul. Cadance was still there of course. But now Twilight felt it all as if she had been born with this body and magic.

Cadance felt the same, as her connection to what used to be her body faded and then vanished. A new connection was forged with what used to be Twilight's body but was now hers. What that meant for her, she didn't know. But that was something they could find out.

She hoped. She would be lying if she said she wasn't curious.

When the light from their magic had faded, Twilight looked over at the spell on the bed. "So, what do we do now?"

Cadance sighed. "We need to tell Aunt Celestia and Aunt Luna about this. They deserve to know. I'm not sure what their reactions are going to be. But really? They can't tell us no now, can they?"

Twilight chuckled. "True. And I need to tell my friends and family about this. They have every right to know as well. I'm not even sure how I'm going to explain this to them."

Cadance nodded. "And then, you need to think about how you are going to explain this to the Crystal Empire. As of right now? You are the Crystal Empress. Not me."

Twilight groaned, rubbing her forehead. "Great. Just great. I completely forgot about that. How the hay am I supposed to handle all of that, Cadance? I'm not a ruler. I never wanted to rule."

Cadance nodded, smiling softly. "That's why I will help you. It will take time. But I know you can do this, Twilight. Princess Celestia wouldn't have given you the title of princess if she didn't think you could do this."

Twilight rolled her eyes. "I don't think this is what Princess Celestia had in mind when she did that, though."

Cadance giggled. "Probably not. But I mean what I said, Twilight. I know you can do this. I believe in you. Your friends believe in you. You got this."

Twilight tried to stay collected but grinned dopily at the compliment. "Fine. I'll do this. For you, Cadance. But if anything goes wrong, it's your fault."

Cadance giggled. "Fairtrade, Twilight."

For the moment though, as Twilight felt Cadance pull back into the recesses of her mind, she had some letters to write. Her friends, family, and the princesses needed to know what had happened.

And for once in her life, Twilight was actually not worried about what their reactions to it might be.
