Chapter one training.
We were waiting for our first part of training a test with a few hundred questions to see if were cut for the delta team special forces. Question 1 have you ever shot a gun. Yes. Question 2 would you shoot some one to save your life. YES. Question 3 Have you ever played any sports that require a lot of running. Yes. 1 hour later question 106 out of 200 Would you shoot a child running at you with a gun to save your life. Yes. I just then heard a "done" from none other then Twilight Sparkle. 30 minutes later i was the second one done then followed by many others later on. The staff Sargent then said "Private Sparkle Step up and take your gear". I knew i was up and hoped not to get rejected. "Private Abbott Step up and take your gear".Sarge said. RD,Fluttershy,Rarity,Aj,and pinkie pie all passed. Then we heard the first reject "Derpy Hooves you are not cut for delta force try the regular army or something more cut for your suiting." The sarge told Derpy. The only ones left to make it were Private Cameron,Alecia,and Ellis. I wonder why Derpy Hooves did not pass then i saw her test she only had her name and it was spelt wrong. "Okay Privates get some rest for tomorrow" Yelled sarge.. The next day we woke up at 5:30 am i looked at the clock and said to "damn early". Every company was all ready at breakfast i was one of the first at the very mention of food. Having a high metabolism made me not worry about how much i ate. There were 2 lines ponies and humans the humans served the normal breakfast foods such a pancakes,eggs,bacon,coffee,and juices. The ponies had 2 things apples and apple juice.
After eating and talking with other companies training began. The staff Sargent yelled "OKAY PRIVATES 10 MILE RUN HUMANS FINISH IN 45 MINUTES PONIES MUST FINISH IN 30 MINUTES!!!!!" We had just ate I thought is he out of his damn mind. He spotted my look he said "is there a problem private Abbott"? "No sir not at all sir" i said. "On your marks get set go" Sarge yelled. Every one was starting out strong but for some reason Twilight and I were in the back jogging for the first 7 miles she had 10 minutes left and i had 25 minutes left the other were worn out and had only ran 5 miles out of breath. Twilight looked and me and said "jog then run and i thought i was the only pony to think of that". I replied "nope better to save your energy when you need it". She said "I like you you are on of the few people who think before they do things". I said thanks and "i like you to of course as a friend". We both blushed and she took off in front of me and i yelled "not fair you have extra legs". She looked back at me and did a playful tongue stick out. I said "oh it's on" and did a full on sprint. She said "you have to do better then that if you want to keep up with me". I put the after burners on and caught up to her. She replied "you have to be one of the fastest humans on this track". "You should talk to Rainbow Dash she loves speed". I nodded at what Twilight said. After the run Rainbow Dash had finished first twilight second and I 3rd. Rainbow then came up to me and said "wow your fast." I smiled and said thanks "I try not to brag but i know". The other finished with minutes to spare some seconds to spare. Staff Sargent Jones said "3 minute water break then head over to the gun range for the fun stuff."
We all jogged over there feeling refreshed. Sargent Jones said "first pick up the M4A1 with red dot sight". Then we heard a shriek I looked down the isle and saw Fluttershy afraid to grab the gun. I thought she has not even fired the weapon and is afraid classic Fluttershy. Sargent Jones looked at her and face palmed and said "Private Shy pick up the M4A1 with red dot if you will". She finally built up the courage to pick up the assault rifle. "Does any one know how to use any of these"? Sargent Jones asked Me being the firearms expert said "Sir i do". He smiled a joyful smile and said "it's about damn time one of these privates know how to use one of these the right way and just not pull the trigger like a fucking crack pot". "Demonstrate then Private Abbott in the prone position". Sarge said. I lied down and pulled the bar back to load the first bullet to the chamber ready to be fire. The Sargent said "aim for the head with a 3 round burst". I noticed this was a new M4A1 my favorite and had a 3 round burst option. I said "first switch your wepon from safe to 3 round burst on the side of your gun aim down sight and then pull." All that heard was a echo and a pleased staff Sargent he said "hell yea boy nothing like the sound of a gun in the early morning." "Now every one else pull the triggers". Sarge said. Fluttershy then came up and it took her a second then Rarity gave her a nudge and said just pull now sweaty. Then finally a loud gun shot broke the silence i jumped up and said "hell yea that's how it's done".
"Next pull out your side arm a dessert eagle remember switch to your side arm it is always faster then reloading unless you are far away then reload to have a better shot". The sarge yelled out. Everyone/pony knew how to use the pistol with ease and even Fluttershy was having fun and did her crazy laugh like from the gala. After hours of gun training came the last run of the day it was starting to become dark. This run was much shorter. I was extremely tired after today and went into our bunker with the label Delta Team 106 and I said "good night everyone/pony". Then Silence.
