Arc 1: A Human Arrives

My eyes open, my surroundings blurred to an almost unbearable extent. My ears ringing so loud my vision pulses, making the blur worsen. With each slow, unsteady breath, I try to move my body. To no avail, I try one last hard, unbearably painful shove against the ground, rolling me over. I yelp in pain as a sickening crack could be heard from my left arm as i roll onto my right. I try to move my left arm and was meant with a shock of pain jolting through my body. I scream in pain as the arm I tried to move, unbeknownst to me, has a bone making its way out of the front of my arm. The unsightly mess of meat and flesh hanging out of its usual place from the inside of my arm, reddened by the blood seeping out of where the bone had punctured. With my vision clearing, I looked to a forest, to which I have never seen the likes of in my entire life, hoping anyone would come to my aid. I screamed for help, draining my energy and finally, knocking me out.

beep. beep beep. beep. beep beep.

"What the hell?" I thought as I slowly started to open my eyes. Once open, all I say was clinical white walls, a heart monitor beeping away, numbers showing my vitals, an IV and fluids/blood, and a 'nurse call' button fitted to my hospital bed. My body was covered in electrodes and was pale from the blood loss that I suffered from how I got here. How...I got...here. Here. Where is here, anyway? How did I get here? Most importantly, am I going to live? As all these thoughts are racing through my head, the sound of a door opening pulls me out of my thoughts. My attention now directed towards who's coming through the door. And what I see next is unbelievable. I turn my focus towards the doorway only to see a pony walk through! My eyes widen and I try to scream, only to be cut off by a hoof over my mouth. "Hush now, it's all going to be okay!" He said in a soft, comforting tone. I relax, giving him a small nod. He takes his hoof off of my mouth and walks over to a machine I didn't see before, -- a white box with rounded edges with blinking blue and white lights in the middle, blinking in tandem with the heart monitor's beeps. -- and made both his horn and the machine glow a vibrant orange and held like that for a solid 30 seconds. I look at him in confusion, only to receive a smile and a response that scared me. "Well, it seems like you're doing just fine, ma'am!" He said with a wink. "How did you know?!" I yell. "I look nothing like a female, let alone a female from this world!" I yelled, tears flowing from my eyes. His smile widened and he motioned for me to sit up. As I sat up, he connected his horn with my head and I saw it! My memories and feelings of when I was on Earth! It then struck me! I was shown the moment of which I hated with everything I have; the day I told my parents. The day I was kicked out of the house; my 18th birthday.

-Flashback to my 18th Birthday-

"Happy birthday, Jacob!" My mother exclaimed, bursting through my door, causing me to jump a little bit.

I quickly close my drawer a bit too late as my mother catches a glimpse of the contents within. "Jacob, what is this?!" She says in surprise, pointing at my drawer and looking at me with wide eyes.

"I--" I start, but was cut off immediately. "I will NOT have this! What do you think you are doing with makeup?" She yells.

I sigh, looking at the ground. "Mum...do you know what transgender means?" I say softly, looking up at her.

"Yes, I do. But what does that have to--" She stopped, realizing what I was saying. "Oh no, you don't! I am NOT having a freak in my house! Either you stop this nonsense or leave!" She yells, tears forming in her eyes.

"Fine..." I say somberly as I get up, put my makeup and my notebooks with pencils in my bookbag. "I'm sorry I am a freak to you...goodbye." I nearly whisper as I walk past her, tears welling up in my eyes. I get to the front door where my shoes are, slip them on, and leave the house. As I exit the house, I take a look back and remember all the good memories I made living there. I turn and start running in the direction of the bus station, watching all the houses and woods pass by. As I arrive at the station, a dark figure steps out of the crowd and grabs my shoulder. "Can I help yo--" I was cut off by everything going silent and dark, I passed out.

-Flashback ends-

"That was you, wasn't it? The person I saw before I was transported here, that was you?" I said with a look of bewilderment strewn across my pale face.

He just smiles and nods before walking to the door. Before leaving, he turns, "The mares that brought you here are in the waiting room." He grabs the handle. "I'll call them in to see you. Have a nice day ma'am." I just nod in silence and he leaves the room.

'This day can't get any weirder' I thought, shaking my head and looking around the sterile, almost immaculate white and gray room.

"Yes it caaaaan!~" said a high-pitched voice from outside the door.

"Oh boy...this is gonna be an interesting day." I facepalmed. "Ow..." I deadpanned, sliding my hand off my face. As soon as I was about to lay down for the day, I heard the door burst open.
