Twilight and Nightmare Moon walked together in the Everfree Forest, behind them were the Lunar guards, who took care of Spike while Nightmare Moon used her magic to keep him from escaping and also to destroy all Timberwolves that come in her way.
Twilight watched Nightmare Moon destroy the last Timberwolf while he ran away, she didn’t understand why Nightmare Moon had to destroy him, like, she could have used another tactic. But since they were almost close to the portal, Twilight decided to recap her escape plan: knowing Nightmare Moon she would probably want to know how the portal worked and then she would go to the other timelines to cause eternal night, but she would say that the night is not meant to be eternal as all life would perish, then she would teleport, pick up Spike and activate the map to escape from Nightmare Moon.
“So, how did you get here?” asked Nightmare Moon before looking at Twilight.
Twilight looked at Nightmare Moon to answer. “I was fighting with a mare, but she ended up teleporting me here,” Twilight and Nightmare Moon saw the time portal right in front of them. “There it is,” Twilight pointed at it with a hoof.
Nightmare Moon approached the time portal with a smile. “And now, you’re going to show me how it works, so I’ll be able to travel back in time and the night will last forever!”
“But it won’t.” Twilight denied it.
Nightmare Moon was surprised by the answer, she looked back at Twilight. “What?”
“In my world, my friends managed to find the elements to defeat you,” said Twilight with a smile, before spreading her wings and looking determinedly at Nightmare Moon. “And I will do my best to make everything go back to the way it was before!”
“No!” Nightmare Moon turned to attack Twilight with her magic, but it didn’t work because Twilight teleported just in time, picked up Spike from Nightmare Moon’s guards and teleported over to the time portal.
Nightmare Moon soon turned around at the sound of teleportation and saw Twilight on top of the portal and used her magic to activate it, wind came up and her mane started blowing in the wind, but Nightmare Moon wouldn’t just stand there and watch.
“Oh no! You will not escape from me!” Nightmare Moon caught Twilight quickly in her magic grip before the younger alicorn could go into the portal. Because of this, the portal disappeared from sight since it was activated already.
Twilight was surprised by what just happened. The time portal was gone! Her escape plan went wrong! How could her plan go wrong? She had everything planned to get away from Nightmare Moon! So why didn’t her plan work? And the worst was that as she activated the portal with her magic, the portal would never return!
After seeing the portal disappear, Nightmare Moon looked at Twilight with an evil smile. “So, did you really think you could escape through your time portal? Now that you are trapped in my kingdom, I have the perfect idea for your punishment for wanting to run away from me, little one.”
Twilight could feel nervousness take over her. She now wanted nothing more than to teleport to the timeline where Starlight was, but it was not possible for her to do so, since her teleportation magic couldn’t take her to another alternate timeline, only with the time portal that was possible.
“But to make sure you won’t run away from me a second time...” Nightmare Moon took Spike from the back of Twilight with her magic and returned him back to the guards, then teleported a rope and tied Twilight by the hooves and wings, but it wasn’t that strong, so Twilight doesn’t run out of air.
After that, she looked at her guards. “Put the dragon in the dungeons.”
The Lunar guards bowed. “Yes, Princess,” they soon left Nightmare Moon with Twilight to return to the castle.
Nightmare Moon closed her eyes and used her magic to teleport while holding Twilight with her magic. A turquoise spell enveloped the two until they disappeared from the forest and appeared in a room. Twilight decided to examine what the room was like. The bedroom wall was light blue, the floor was black, the bed was very large with a light blue pillow and a light blue blanket with moon design. By the colors of the room, she didn’t have to think twice to know that this was the bedroom of Nightmare Moon.
Nightmare Moon approached her bed and placed Twilight on the bed. The two stared at each other for a while. Twilight had an expression of fear at what Nightmare Moon might end up doing with her tied up, while Nightmare Moon smirked at the sight of Twilight all tied up.
“Now that we’re alone, I can finally give you your punishment,” said Nightmare Moon as she lay down on her bed.
“What are you going to do with me, Nightmare Moon?” asked Twilight, now shaking with fear for her life. “Are you going to lock me up in your dungeon with Spike? Are you going to torture me?!”
“Oh! It’s nothing like that, Little one,” Nightmare Moon replied, still smiling.
Twilight looked peaceful that it wouldn’t be what she was thinking, but even so, she feared it was something even worse than what she said. “So what is it?”
“You will, for all eternity, be my personal royal body pillow,” Nightmare Moon declared with an evil smile. “So, you better get ready, little one, because whenever I go to my room from now on, whether it be to sleep or to relax, I will cuddle you and you will not escape from me!” she soon began to laugh wickedly.
Twilight was speechless with everything that Nightmare Moon said. Was she going to be a kind of pillow now? But was she going to get stuck in a rope forever?
“But am I going to be stuck on this rope forever?” She asked.
Nightmare Moon stopped laughing when she heard the question of Twilight. “It will depend on you, little one. If you are not going to complain at each session, I will release you from the ropes, but if you start complaining… you will continue to be stuck in the rope and I will tighten the ropes each time you rebel against your princess, and with that, you may even suffocate, and even blood comes out.”
Twilight was afraid to hear the words “suffocate” and “even blood comes out.” So, would that mean that if she didn’t cooperate, she would end up suffocating and even bleed?
“D-die suffocated? Blood come out?” asked Twilight in fear while her ears were down.
“Yes, suffocate to death and blood come out,” she confirmed with an evil smile. “So I think it’s good for you to be a good pillow and not complain from now on.”
“But what about Spike? Will he stay in the dungeon?”
“Your dragon friend? Yes, since I don’t want him to bother me here in my room,” Nightmare Moon replied.
Twilight was concerned about what Nightmare Moon said to her. “But will he be stuck in the dungeon forever?”
“Yes, he will be there forever. But I can assure you, little one: my guards will bring food and water so that he doesn’t starve.” the black alicorn guaranteed.
Twilight was relieved that Spike was not going to starve, but there was something she wanted to ask Nightmare Moon. “And will I be able to visit him?”
“As I said before, little one: only if you don’t complain.” Nightmare Moon recaps Twilight.
“So can I go see him now?” asked Twilight, now smilling hopefully.
“No, because I don’t know how you are going to behave like my pillow. I will only let you see your friend when I am sure you are being a good pillow.”
Twilight was confused as she raised an eyebrow. “And when will you be sure?”
“After a week,” Nightmare Moon replied before smirking. “And I hope you are ready, little one. Well before you got here, I was already going to bed to relax a little after all the real duties that I had this night. So, get ready to be cuddled by your princess!”
That said, Nightmare Moon wrapped Twilight with her hooves in her embrace. Twilight couldn’t believe she was thinking about it, but the hug was very comforting and cozy and Nightmare Moon’s fur was very soft, it was like stuffed animal fur, only two times more soft. As much as the hug was comfortable, her thoughts were in Starlight.
She wouldn’t deny that Starlight must have probably noticed that she hasn’t even appeared yet to stop her. Probably Starlight must have already destroyed the parchment that allows to time travel and the present she lived in before must have already changed. Twilight blew out a breath as she looked at the blanket, knowing that she failed to escape from Nightmare Moon and to stop Starlight.
While Nightmare Moon hugged her with her hooves, she noticed something: Twilight didn’t complain once, and she was even quiet. She smiled at that, at least Twilight knew how to be a good pillow. She knew very well what she had to do about it.
Suddenly, Twilight felt Nightmare Moon stop hugging her, the rope that wrapped around her, release her with the turquoise magic of Nightmare Moon. She was obviously surprised by this, but deep down, relieved. The ropes were already beginning to give pain to her hooves and wings. After that, Twilight felt Nightmare Moon’s hooves embrace her again. After an hour in the embrace, Twilight started to feel sleepy, because the hug was very cozy. She immediately yawned, put the hoof close to the mouth, lay down on the blanket and slept.
Nightmare Moon just watched Twilight sleep while stroking the mane of the little purple alicorn with a smile. “Sleep well, little one, because tomorrow you will have more cuddles from your princess again.”
