After their adventure in the Relic Castle, Applejack and the Rookies finally arrived in Appleloosa.
Rockruff rests as he has failed to fall asleep because of his nightmare with his dark side and have to wait for you the puppy wakes up.
"For now, what are we doing?"
"What if we visit Trouble Shoe?" Apple Bloom suggests.
"Me, and Grass, we're going to see Olivia to pass the trial of this city."
"I'm going to stay here with Rockruff." Mask is worried about his Pokémon.
Everyone had decided to do their business. Sunlight and Grass go to olivia with Applejack and Rotom.
"Rock..." Says.
On the Kahuna side, the two foals encounter a dark brown mare accompanied by a Lycanroc Midday form.
"So you're the two trainers who want to pass the test and then face me?"
"Exact Mrs. Olivia." Sun and Grass said in unison.
"Well, AJ you can take them to the forest for the first test?"
"Of course, follow me my little ponies." They follow the farmer into the forest, curious Grass asks a question.
"Applejack, what will be the test?"
"Pick up ingredients."
Sun/ Grass: Ingredients?
She nods and all three enter the forest. The Crusaders go to Trouble Shoe's for talking to him. The brown foal
"You must assemble the ingredients: Tiny Mushroom, Revival Herb, Mago Berry, and a Miracle Seed."
(...) With two from Stoutland, Sunlight and Grass started the trial.
In Braeburn's house, Rockruff kept thinking about his nightmare and there's a fear that it's going to become reality. To avoid that, he comes out of the room.
The puppy seen Mask is in another room to leave the house and head for the forest.
Tapu Lele saw Rockruff and she's going to follow the puppy.
"Leleee" with a melody tone.
On the side of Sunlight, Grass, Rotom and Applejack. The soup attracted a lot wild Pokémon, the two foals were able to fight them so they wouldn't eat the food and Grass takes advantage to catch a wild Formatis.
"Applejack, the Pokémon Totem coming soon?"
"Yes, if I think I can't permanently protect the soup."
The orange farmer heard footsteps. "He'll be there."
Heavy footsteps go towards their position, the two foals turn to the source of the noise and discover that it is a giant Lurantis.

"Go, Charmeleon!" Sunlight chose his fire lizard.
"Datrix!" Grass Whistler chose his green owl.
The challenge of the Pokémon Totem begins. On Rockruff's side, the puppy continues its way into the forest and is followed by Tapu Lele who is curious.
The puppy walks to a Ruin of Life sanctuary. The pink butterfly creature flies over, the place and continuous observed Rockruff.
“Tap? Tapu?”
The puppy thinks back to his nightmare and he's disturbed by it. The guardian deity does not like to see a pokémon or pony like that, decides to approach the puppy.
“Lele?”
"Barf?" Rockruff is surprised to see mysterious creature resembling a pink butterfly here. The puppy does not know if this creature is friendly or an enemy and puts itself in an attacking position.
The guardian deity thinks you the puppy challenges him for a fight and accepts. The talent Psychic Siege is engaged and the ground is surrounded by a dome made of psychic energy.
"Grrr!" he cried. Rockruff throws Throw Rock, throws stones at Tapu Lele who dodges them without difficulty and counterattacks with Flatter.
Tapu Lele's flattery makes the puppy confused and Lele throws Moonblast. She pulled a lunar ray at the puppy and used Nature's Madness.
Tapu Lele draws 'energy from the nature that surrounds him to deal heavy damage to Rockruff and he almost lost consciousness.
"Rock..." and he's knocked out.
(...) The guardian deity has the feeling you fight is not over and she has a bad feeling.
Suddenly the puppy gets up, but it gives off a sinister aura that has the shape of a green-eyed wolf and it has become uncontrollable.
"Grrrr!!!!" His speed has increased and attacks Tapu Lele in all directions.

"Grrrr!!!!" He makes several attacks to weaken Tapu Lele, the stamina of the keeper decreases.
"Lelee!!!" Tapu Lele enjoys the puppy approaching her and launches a powerful Nature's Madness.
The power of nature knocks out Rockruff for the second time and now calm down. She looks at the puppy unconscious and worries about him.
"Tapu..." She says before returning to her Ruin of life.
On the race side, Grass and Sunlight face Lurantis with Castform (Form Sunny Day)...
"Charmeleon, Fire Spin Lurantis!" The reptile spits out flames that form a whirlwind of fire that weakens the Pokémon Totem until it is out of action.
"Datrix launches Peck on Castform!" The owl attacks the temperature creature with its beak and Castform (Sunny Day) is K.O.
"You have succeed!" The red machine congratulates the two foals.
"Great my first trial." The green foal is happy to have passed his first test.
The pink religious mantis wakes from its unconscious and handed a Grassium Z to the two young ponies.
After that day, they return to Braeburn's house and the Cmcs are there too.
"So how was the trial?" Sweetie Belle asks.
"Well, me and Sun did it."
"Great."
The orange farmer opened the door but saw that Mask was in a panic.
"Mask, what's going on?" The orange mare questions the brown foal.
"Rockruff is gone!!" Mask announces in screams.
"What!? ..."
