Twilight trotted out, quietly, sneaking past Fluttershy. "Phew" she said, now in the Everfree. "That was close."
Now, the changeling trotted through the Everfree, her disguise wearing off. Twilight stopped, hearing a strange sound. What was that you ask? It was a cockatrice. She didn't know that though. "He-Hello?, who's there? Show yourself!" Paniced the dark changeling, baring her fangs. Then, out jumped a cockatrice, it tried to freeze Twilight. "Gah! Cockatrice!" She screamed. "Go away!" Her waist was now stone. I know what to do! Calm down, and the stone will break! the changeling told herself.
The cockatrice was getting up to her neck in stone. Then, Twilight calmed down, thinking of peaceful times. The stone almost instantly broke, reversing it on the cockatrice. She slipped away, escaping one of many deadly creatures. A little while away, a manticore was ahead. The one from their battle with Nightmare Moon. She approached with caution. The manticore notced her and imidiatly. Twilight now was panicking. The manticore charged at her, roaring loudly and earpiercing. Twilight teleported, but failed at it. Then, she relized: Pull a Fluutershy!, help it! "Stop! Why are you attacking?" She tried to reson with it. The manticore actually stopped, then he held out his back leg, it had a scratch on it.
She changed to Fluttershy this time, healing the wound. It licked her then sent her on her way. Her disguise wore off again. "Hm hm hm hm hmmm, hm hm hm hm hmmm, hm hm hm hm hmmm!" Twilight hummed.
