Volvox was the first being to ever exist on Earth that was created by the gods and the Maker, he acted on his own during the time of dragons and dinosaurs, and the time of angels and demons, Volvox met Dommiel during that time, who became his best friend, they also had many different creatures roam the Earth, the two manage to befriend a ghoul named Giovi, who lost his claws in battle and replaced them with knife blades, he chose not to speak, believing actions were more powerful than words. The gods eventually created a new species together called the humans, and since Volvox was the most powerful being on the Earth, they entrusted him to take control of their evolution, which Volvox would be their supreme ruler.
Volvox saw how dangerous and powerful the other creatures were, they were going to try to destroy the humans since they were new, the humans were constantly attacked by the orcs, dwarfs, elves, fairies, vampires, werewolves, trolls, ghouls, goblins, aliens from other planets, creatures from other realms and dimensions, humans from alternate timelines, ghosts, and zombies, so Volvox decided the best course for human evolution was to make them more powerful than the other creatures and feared, he molds the humans with his magic, but some did not like his way, and broke away to form their own tribes. After many centuries, Volvox was finished making them evolve, he thought they were perfect, so Volvox created his own nation called Sapien, the humans were now the most physically fit creatures on the planet, the most intelligent, the only ones who had technology, and learned magic from other creatures, and learned spiritual energy, a power just as strong as magic and advanced technology, which was achieved through meditation and having a strong willpower.
A century after Sapien was formed, a human from an alternate timeline came, but he had the same beliefs on humans as Volvox, he was known as the Count of Saint Germain, he came to Volvox's Earth since he liked it better than his own. A decade passes and one human in particular was more physically fit and intelligent than others, and had spiritual energy stronger than everybody else's, his name was Tom, Volvox gave him a position in the government. Sapien was a militaristic and highly disciplined nation, Volvox had the humans evolve to make them unable to feel or experience emotion of any kind, but they still learned what it was since other creatures still had them, the humans evolved to believe emotions were a weakness, and led to poor and irrational decision making, so they decided it was best not to feel any of it. Sapien only had five members in its government, Volvox was the supreme ruler and decided how the humans should evolve, Dommiel was the second-in-command and Volvox's personal bodyguard, the Count of Saint Germain was the nation's strategist and battle tactician since he can travel through time, Giovi was the commander of Sapien's entire military, which meant he was the one who led the people during times of war, he also decided that every citizen should be trained as soon as they are born, and Tom was the ambassador for other human nations, since the ones who broke away had their descendants form their own nations.
Sapien was the most powerful nation in the world militarily, so whenever there was a threat anywhere in the world, they would be the first ones to answer, the humans who were born in Sapien were stronger than the other human nations physically, mentally, and spiritually, and since they are born unable to feel emotion, emotional abuse or manipulation did not work on them, and Volvox also had the humans wear a uniform that had artificial muscle on the inside to enhance their physical abilities.
The gods watched Volvox and were happy with what he chose to make the humans into, the only god Volvox had contact with was Hermes, who was their messenger, the gods approved of Volvox having an entire wall and ceiling over Sapien to protect it from threats, he also made sure Sapien was an island, so land vehicles could not reach it. Volvox and the people in his nation sense something off and notice they were being transferred,
"Everybody, shields, now!" Volvox said, and the humans activate force fields around Sapien, and magical, technological, and spiritual force fields around themselves, their land was transferred and teleported elsewhere.
The people of Equestria were getting on with their days, but they hear a noise in the sea that was to the northeast of Canterlot and southeast of the Crystal Empire, Sapien appeared right before their eyes, the ponies, dragons, griffons, yaks, changelings, and hippogriffs look at it with curiosity, the kirins and buffaloes saw it as well, but mostly ignored it, they could not see anything due to the black wall and ceiling around the entire nation. A white cloud comes down and goes to Canterlot's balcony, where Princess Celestia and Princess Luna were at, the cloud formed into Hermes, which surprised the ponies,
"I am Hermes, the messenger of the gods, that nation there was transferred here due to a magic spell gone wrong on our part." Hermes said, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna laughed,
"We apologize for the inconvenience." Hermes said,
"It's alright, I think having them here gives us a wonderful opportunity to make new friends." Princess Celestia said, Hermes just bowed,
"Well go on and fix it, we have no complaints." Princess Celestia said, and Hermes went back up into the sky. The world's natives were curious about what Sapien looked like,
"What do y'all think is behind that wall?" Applejack asked,
"A super duper fun loving place!" Pinkie Pie replied,
"I don't think so, look at that wall." Rainbow Dash said, and they all saw the black wall had spikes all over it, and razor wires wrapped around it,
"Oh dear, it looks scary." Fluttershy said,
"I hope the people in there dress fashionably." Rarity said,
"Well, we'll see one day." Twilight Sparkle replied, Hermes floated in the sky and was above Sapien, much bigger than before,
"Volvox!" Hermes said, Volvox came out and stood on the ceiling, everycreature was shocked to see the giant three headed creature,
"I'm sorry to say this, but since you're in a new world, you have to take the wall down, you will draw suspicion upon yourself if you don't." Hermes said, surprising the world's natives, Hermes went up into the sky and Volvox went back into Sapien. The ceiling divides into four parts and were above the four walls, they go down into the water and the world's natives look at Sapien with great shock, Pinkie Pie and Rarity screamed when they saw the humans, they were all wearing black Kevlar and nomex pants with black Kevlar pads on their knees', black Kevlar mid-calf length steel-toed combat boots with silver spikes on the vamps and toe caps, a black Kevlar and nomex long-sleeve shirt that was tucked into their pants', black Kevlar pads on their elbows, a black military belt with silver buckles, a heavy bulletproof black trench coat that went down to the ground with spikes on the shoulders, black Kevlar and nomex wrist-length gloves with silver spikes all over the back parts of them, and silver claws on the finger and thumb tips of the gloves, a round black Kevlar balaclava that covered the entire head except the face, and a black Level IIIA ballistic face mask with black acrylic glass built into the eye areas, the only difference between them and the officers were the officers wore a black peaked cap with a black visor, and a light gray tactical vest over their long-sleeve shirts and under their trench coats that provided extra armor. There were thousands of humans, and they all marched forward in unison and large groups, the officers led them from the front, every human was holding a Stoner 63 in their hands', they had two types of sidearms with them, a semi-automatic one, and a single-action one, the semi-automatic gun was an IMI Desert Eagle, and the single-action gun was an S&W M500, it was sheathed on their belts, each human had two IMI Desert Eagles and S&W M500s since the humans in Volvox's nation were ambidextrous.
The world's natives look at the humans with great shock at seeing what they were like,
"They don't look friendly." Applejack said,
"What are those outfits?!" Rarity asked while offended,
"That place doesn't look fun." Pinkie Pie said,
"I sure hope there are no animals there." Fluttershy said,
"What should we do?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"I hate to say this, but we might have to go there." Twilight Sparkle replied,
"What? Why?" Spike asked,
"To act as ambassadors." Twilight Sparkle replied, Spike burped and a letter came out, he reads it,
"It's from Princess Celestia, she's calling us to Canterlot." Spike said, surprising the six mares, but they head there with Spike.
The Mane Six and Spike stand in the Canterlot throne room with Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and Princess Cadence standing across from them,
"As you all know, there is a new land in this world, and we have seen them. I know they look scary, but we have to send you all to their land and see if they are friendly." Princess Celestia said,
"We... have to go there?" Fluttershy asked,
"Yes, and to be honest with you seven, I am worried about sending you all, but it has to be done." Princess Celestia replied,
"We have all of the royal guards and Wonderbolts standing by in case things get ugly, we are all scared of them." Princess Luna said,
"The changelings have also offered us their aid, they will help us if a fight ensures." Princess Cadence said,
"Come on, girls, let's go." Twilight Sparkle said,
"Twilight, Ah don't think it's a good idea to go there empty hoofed." Applejack replied,
"We got all of our country's guards standing by, plus, I'm an alicorn, I can use my magic to protect us, let's go." Twilight Sparkle said, and they left the throne room.
The Mane Six and Spike get into the hot air balloon and head to Sapien, the humans continue marching and the hot air balloon begins to arrive at their country, the humans quickly turn to their rights, every human except the ones in the back of the newly formed line crouches and they aim their Stoner 63s at the hot air balloon. The six mares and Spike become very scared, the Pegasi royal guards and Wonderbolts flew up and were ready to defend them if a fight broke out, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Princess Cadence, and Shining Armor watch from Canterlot's balcony extremely worriedly, King Thorax and the changelings were watching with worry as well.
The hot air balloon lands in Sapien and the humans continue aiming their guns at them, the Mane Six and Spike step out nervously,
"Hey, what gives?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"Identify yourselves." a male human said in a calm and stoic tone,
"Uh, Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Friendship, ambassador from Equestria." Twilight Sparkle replied, the humans were ready to shoot her,
"Prove it." a female human said, the ponies and Spike realize the citizens were both male and female, even though they all wore the same outfit,
"What do you mean prove it?" Twilight Sparkle asked,
"Prove to us you're not an impostor." the female human replied, Twilight Sparkle was in disbelief,
"Uh, I have a horn, and wings, there's only me and four other ponies in Equestria that has both." Twilight Sparkle said,
"What about those six with you?" a second male human asked,
"I'm Spike, her number one assistant." Spike replied,
"Identify your species." a second female human said,
"I'm a dragon." Spike replied with pride,
"Who is that one with the rainbow hair?" the second female human asked,
"I am Rainbow Dash, only the coolest pony around, and Wonderbolt at your service." Rainbow Dash replied,
"Are these Wonderbolts military?" a third male human asked,
"No, we do air shows." Rainbow Dash replied,
"It seems Equestria doesn't have the same motto as our country." the third male human said,
"What is y'all's motto?" Applejack asked,
"Every citizen is a soldier." a fourth male human said, Pinkie Pie and Rarity screamed with shock, the ponies, dragons, griffons, yaks, changelings, hippogriffs, buffaloes, and kirins heard them and were very shocked,
"What does that yellow one with the pink hair do?" a third female human asked,
"Uh, um... I run a cottage for animals." Fluttershy replied,
"Name?" the third female human asked,
"Uh... Fluttershy." Fluttershy replied,
"I see, we take care of animals as well." the third female human said,
"Really? That's wonderful, I'd like to meet them." Fluttershy said,
"Another time. Who is that pink one?" the first male human asked,
"I'm Pinkie Pie, here to spread laughter and joy throughout the land, I'm here to invite you all to this world's welcoming party." Pinkie Pie replied,
"We don't do parties." the second male human said, Pinkie Pie frowned,
"No party?" Pinkie Pie asked,
"We do not have the time for such things, who is the white one with the purple mane?" the third female human asked,
"Why, if you must ask, I am Rarity, and as a fashion designer, I must say your outfits are hideous." Rarity replied,
"Our clothes were not designed for fashion, they are designed for battle." a fourth male human said,
"Battle?!" Rarity asked with shock and horror,
"Yes, not only are our outfits designed to give us the most protection possible, they are also designed to help us improve our physical capabilities, our clothes have muscle enhancing devices built within them to improve our physical abilities, the spikes on our gloves and boots are there to make our punches and kicks hurt even more than they already do." the first male human replied,
"What about those long coats y'all are wearin'?" Applejack asked,
"Special long coats designed to be completely fireproof, waterproof, bulletproof, stabproof, and shockproof." the second male human replied, shocking the Mane Six and Spike,
"What about the spikes on your shoulders?" Spike asked,
"They are there to make our tackles more painful, and to stab our enemies." the second female human replied, shocking the Mane Six and Spike,
"Why are all of you wearing black outfits for?" Rarity asked,
"Because black strikes fear into others, and it's currently winter back in our world." the fourth male human replied, surprising the seven visitors,
"Who is that last one there with the hat?" the fourth female human asked,
"Ah'm Applejack, Ah'm a farmer." Applejack replied,
"Ah, so you grow food for others to eat, a respectable job." the first male human said,
"Wait, y'all like farmin'?" Applejack asked,
"We wouldn't say that, but it is necessary, the children need all of the healthy food and drinks they can get." the third male human replied, the Mane Six and Spike were surprised by their ways of thinking,
"Well, moving on, we were sent to see the ruler of this nation so we can spread friendship." Twilight Sparkle said,
"Very well, we wish to avoid unnecessary conflict as well, go on." the first male human replied, and the humans step to the sides and let them through. The Mane Six and Spike walk with the humans aiming their guns at them, which made them very nervous, they walk forward and soon see the officers, who were even more armored, which scared them, but they arrive at where Volvox was staying, it was a black and heavily fortified fortress,
"What kind of ruler's palace is this?!" Rarity asked,
"Ah know, right, just look at it." Applejack replied,
"Not only that, it seems to be heavily armed, too." Twilight Sparkle said, and they look and see gun turrets, cannons, missile launchers, laser beams, and spikes,
"Go on and enter, the five rulers are waiting for you guys." a male officer said, and they go to the double doors, and the seven go forward, but blue lights come out and scan them,
"What are these?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"Scanners, it is to make sure you're not disguised as another person trying to sneak in." a female officer replied, the scanners finish and the doors open on their own, the seven enter while the humans continue aiming their guns at them.
The Mane Six and Spike go into the fortress and see it was pitch black inside, so Twilight Sparkle casts a spell to light up the place, they see the room was empty, but it made them feel uneasy, so they go into the next room, it was pitch black and empty as well, so was the third room, the fourth room, the fifth room, the sixth room, and the seventh room,
"Ugh! How long is this going to go on?!" Rainbow Dash asked,
"I see a staircase up ahead." Pinkie Pie said,
"Yes! Finally!" Rainbow Dash said, and they go up and enter another pitch black and empty room,
"Oh, come on!" Rainbow Dash said,
"We have no choice but to keep going, Rainbow Dash, let's go." Twilight Sparkle replied, and come to another pitch black and empty room, they go upstairs again and were in another pitch black and empty room, Rainbow Dash growls, Pinkie Pie was grumbling as well. The seven go up the stairs and come to the top, they see Volvox, Dommiel, Giovi, the Count of Saint Germain, and Tom waiting for them, they see the Count of Saint Germain and Tom had on the exact same uniform as the officers outside,
"Finally." Spike said, and they go to the five,
"Hey, there's that three headed guy again." Pinkie Pie said,
"Yes, I am Volvox, the ruler of this nation." Volvox replied,
"Who are you four?" Twilight Sparkle asked,
"Well, first things first, that's Giovi, he chooses not to speak, he's the commander of the citizens." Dommiel replied,
"He doesn't look like he's native to you guys." Fluttershy said,
"He isn't, he's a ghoul, our world is filled with many different types of creatures." Volvox replied,
"I'm Dommiel, I'm Volvox's second-in-command and personal bodyguard, I'm a demon." Dommiel said,
"Who are the last two?" Twilight Sparkle asked,
"I am the Count of Saint Germain, I am a time traveler from an alternate world, I am the nation's main battle tactician and strategist." the Count of Saint Germain replied,
"Wait, you can travel through time?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"Yes, I can go to the past and the future." the Count of Saint Germain replied,
"That is so cool." Rainbow Dash said,
"Who is the last guy?" Twilight Sparkle asked,
"My name is Tom, I am the nation's ambassador, I'm the one who handles the international relationships and trades." Tom replied, they look and see Tom was wearing the exact same outfit as the officers,
"Doesn't it get hot inside that mask?" Rarity asked,
"No, it has been designed to keep me warm and comfortable on the inside." Tom replied,
"Tell us, why are there ten rooms before here?" Applejack asked,
"Because we have had people come here to try to overthrow us, those ten rooms are to make them feel like it goes on forever and have them give up trying to reach us." Dommiel replied, the seven look at them disapprovingly,
"How did you become the ambassador, Tom?" Spike asked,
"Because when I was a regular soldier, I was the best soldier in all training areas, I have also proven myself to be more intelligent and determined than the other soldiers, I became an officer because of my achievements, and I proved to be a good leader, that's why I was appointed to be this nation's ambassador." Tom replied, surprising the seven,
"Okay, well, we'll be going now." Twilight Sparkle said, and the seven leave and go outside, the humans continue aiming their guns at them, which made them very uncomfortable, but they leave Sapien with no problem and go back to Canterlot with the hot air balloon,
"You all can come out now." Volvox said, and light blue and transparent versions of the human citizens and animals appear in the ten rooms, they were the citizens and animals who got killed in battle or died by other means, their spirits remained in the nation to continue defending it from threats,
"What do you say we do about the natives of this world, Volvox?" Dommiel asked,
"Keep an eye on them, let's see if we can remain on good terms with them, and remember, we don't know what they're capable of, so we have to label them as threats of the highest level, and exercise extreme caution around them." Volvox replied,
"If you wish, I can go to the future to see how our relationships with them are." the Count of Saint Germain said,
"Go on, we'll have the information on how they see us in the future, then we'll act accordingly." Volvox replied,
"Well, might as well do it now." the Count of Saint Germain said, and he opens a portal to the future and goes,
"I think hiding the souls of the dead was a smart idea." Tom said,
"Me too, remember, don't show them what we can do, so if they do fight us, they'll be in for nasty surprises, but unfortunately, since I had to take the wall down, they'll see our training and drills, but it shouldn't show off everything completely." Volvox replied, and he and the others continue with their days.
Twilight Sparkle and her friends arrive in Canterlot and report to Princess Celestia what they saw,
"Everybody is heavily armed and outfits are designed for combat? Equestria has never seen a nation like this." Princess Celestia said,
"They have an ambassador as well, he's wearing the same outfit as those guys with the hats on their heads." Twilight Sparkle replied,
"We can't have someone like that here, he'll scare the foals and Flurry Heart." Princess Luna said,
"I absolutely do not like the designs of their outfits, their uniforms need extreme makeovers." Rarity said,
"I'd still like to see their pets and animals." Fluttershy said,
"Well, thank you all for the report, I'll keep an eye on them, we should try our best to be on good relations with them." Princess Celestia said, and the Mane Six and Spike head home.
The humans who were awake at the time in Sapien go into their sleeping quarters and sleep while more humans come out and march and patrol the nation for the night, the Count of Saint Germain came back from the future,
"The ponies are going to try to have us attend the School of Friendship, and we're going to be on sour relations with Equestria, they're not going to like our ways of ruling." the Count of Saint Germain said,
"What else did you find out?" Dommiel asked,
"Well, those ponies over there are going to want to try to have fun and play games with us." the Count of Saint Germain replied,
"They're going to discover our physical capabilities like that, let's have our soldiers sandbag at the games." Tom said,
"And training the citizens?" Dommiel asked,
"I'll have an invisibility force field and holograms up, we'll make them think we're marching when we're actually training." Volvox replied,
"And if the holograms fail?" Tom asked,
"Then we cast illusion magic, we can't have those natives knowing what we can do, they'll try to create counters to our abilities, so we must keep them hidden." Volvox replied, and Giovi and Tom activate the invisibility force field and holograms to trick the world's natives.
The next day comes and everycreature watched Sapien, and since they were not in Equestria, Princess Luna did not see their dreams in the dream realm, they see the holograms marching while the humans actually trained behind the illusion. The world's natives watch them and see the humans marching,
"They're still marching." Fluttershy said,
"Yeah, it's actually kind of unnervin' to watch." Applejack replied,
"I know, even the Wonderbolts don't fly or march all night." Rainbow Dash said,
"Neither does the royal guard, I think we should pay them another visit." Twilight Sparkle replied, and she flew to them.
The humans continue training under the holograms and illusions, they were doing running, push ups, sit ups, pull ups, chin ups, lunges, squats, weight lifting, rope climbing, crawling with humans standing on them, doing target practice with guns and throwing weapons, hand-to-hand combat training, training with close range weapons, doing acrobatic moves, fighting one another to test one's strength and skill, learning first aid, academics, how to create medicine, how to perform surgery, how to create poison, how to tame animals without using violent or aggressive methods, knotting, battle strategies, tactics, espionage, personal hygiene, meteorology, what food and drinks were most healthy for the human body, how to build and operate machines, torture devices and methods, how to operate automobiles, watercraft, aircraft, spacecraft, and the cultures, traditions, and customs of other nations from their home world. The humans were also training in using telekinesis, technopathy, fire, water, earth, and wind magic, and meditating to increase their willpowers to prevent them from getting possessed, along with how to separate their souls and shadows from their bodies to fight paranormal threats, every single person in Sapien was telepathically linked to one another, so they knew the thoughts and ways of thinking of one another.
Twilight Sparkle flies to Sapien and looks at the humans,
"Excuse me." Twilight Sparkle said, the holographic humans look at her, Volvox was controlling them with his mind,
"How long have you guys been marching?" Twilight Sparkle asked,
"Actually, we're only half of the entire military." a male human replied through the hologram, shocking the world's natives,
"Half?!" Twilight Sparkle asked,
"Yes, we march and patrol for twelve hours, then the other half does the same for the next twelve hours while we rest." a second male human replied, surprising Twilight Sparkle,
"Can I have a word with your country's ambassador?" Twilight Sparkle asked,
"He's busy at the moment." a second male human replied,
"No, he isn't, all you guys are doing is marching." Twilight Sparkle said, and she begins to fly forward, she was hit by an hot air balloon that had a surveillance camera and a machine gun on it, and due to the hologram and illusion, it was invisible,
"What the?" Twilight Sparkle asked, and she casts a spell to undo the illusion, revealing the hot air balloons, planes, helicopters, boats, ships, trucks, and tanks within the nation, shocking the world's natives, every vehicle was black,
"What are these?!" Twilight Sparkle asked with shock,
"Vehicles, required to defend our nation." a female human replied, the world's natives were shocked, there were hundreds of them, she also sees the tanks and trucks go through several of the soldiers,
"Wait a minute!" Twilight Sparkle said, and she casts another spell, but the holograms do not disappear, shocking her, she tried again, but the holograms did not disappear. Discord appeared to her left,
"I see what's going on here, they are using technology for that, it's not magic, let's make things interesting by exposing them." Discord said, and he uses his powers to undo the holograms. Everycreature saw the humans training, they were shocked to see all of the training they did, they also saw the children, they wore the exact same outfits as the regular soldiers, and the officers had harder physical, mental, and spiritual training than the regular soldiers. Fluttershy looks and sees the children were being taught how to win an animal's trust, how to take care of them, and were friendly with them, it made her happy to see. The world's natives also see the humans shoot fire out of their hands, make water come out of the ground, make rocks come out of the ground, and fly around with wind magic, shocking the ponies,
"They have magic, too?!" Rainbow Dash asked with great shock, Discord appears again,
"Oh, no, they have more than magic, too." Discord said, and he uses his magic again, he reveals the souls of the dead humans as well, who were training with those still alive, greatly shocking the world's natives,
"Hey, what's that over there?" Applejack asked, and they all see the humans separate their shadows from themselves, the shadows disappear into other shadows and shade, and come out of shadows and shade that were elsewhere,
"What you all see here is spiritual energy, allowing them to separate their souls to become ghosts, and their shadows for stealth missions." Discord said, the world's natives were scared. Everycreature watches and they see Volvox, Dommiel, Giovi, the Count of Saint Germain, and Tom standing on the roof of the fortress in the center of the nation, they were watching every human train to defend Sapien, Twilight Sparkle flew to them,
"Excuse me, Volvox." Twilight Sparkle said, Volvox looks at her,
"If it's okay with you, I'd like the kids to attend the School of Friendship." Twilight Sparkle said,
"Which ones?" Volvox asked,
"All of them." Twilight Sparkle replied,
"Alright, but I'll need a report first, so I'm going to send four kids, two males, two females, and if its to my liking, I'll send more." Volvox said,
"Thank you, I'm sure you'll like it, I'll be waiting." Twilight Sparkle replied, and she flew away, but she exclaims with shock when an airplane appeared in front of her, she sees a light blue aura on it, she looks down and saw a male human child moving the airplane with telekinesis, but to Twilight Sparkle's surprise, the telekinesis came out of the boy's left hand, but she continued flying and saw humans using telekinesis with their minds as well, greatly shocking her, but she flew back and she and her friends went to the School of Friendship.
Volvox, Dommiel, the Count of Saint Germain, Giovi, and Tom came together to discuss who they should send,
"What are the results from the future, Saint Germain?" Volvox asked,
"The students are going to pass, but those ponies will question us, and if we don't oblige, it's going to cause problems for us." the Count of Saint Germain replied,
"Alright, let's pick the four most out of shape kids so they don't know what we're truly capable of, two males, two females." Volvox said, and Tom contacts them telepathically, four teenagers came,
"We're going to send you four to the School of Friendship to stay on good terms with the other countries, you four are not to refer to one another by your real names, during your time in Equestria, you two males will be called John Doe and John Q. Dommiel said, the four teenagers just stood there and did not say anything, but the five knew they got the message from their telepathic connection,
"Good, you four know your orders, now go, and good luck." Volvox said, and the four left, they use their wind magic to fly to Equestria and see the School of Friendship and they enter.
The four humans sit in Pinkie Pie's class and the students back away from them in fear, since their outfits scared them, Pinkie Pie was also a bit scared,
"Don't you guys have any alternate outfits?" Sandbar asked,
"No, this is all we wear." John Doe replied,
"It is an all terrain outfit, and keeps us protected in fights." Jane Doe said,
"Okay, class, it's time to have fun!" Pinkie Pie said, and she got out her party cannon,
"What is the cannon for?" Jane Q. Public asked,
"For preparing and throwing parties!" Pinkie Pie replied excitedly,
"You guys should watch her, it's awesome!" Silverstream said,
"A cannon is a weapon, not a device for entertainment." John Q. Public said,
"Yona like party cannon!" Yona replied,
"Come on, I'll show you guys how it's done, get in the cannon!" Pinkie Pie said happily, and Jane Doe went, Pinkie Pie fires the cannon and she fires it, Jane Doe hits a mattress,
"Isn't it fun?" Pinkie Pie asked,
"We cannot experience fun." Jane Doe replied, shocking the students and Pinkie Pie,
"Can't experience fun?!" Pinkie Pie asked,
"No, our species has evolved to the point where we cannot feel any emotion at all." John Doe replied,
"Then how do you guys pass the time?" Gallus asked,
"We train." Jane Doe replied,
"Even when it's boring?" Smolder asked,
"We cannot feel or experience boredom." Jane Q. Public replied, shocking the students and Pinkie Pie,
"Then how do you guys make decisions?" Ocellus asked,
"We make decisions using logic and facts, we see not having emotions as a good thing." John Doe replied,
"Why?" Ocellus asked,
"Because other nations of our world have made decisions based on emotions, and they have made poor and irrational decisions that have had poor outcomes, by evolving to the point of not feeling emotion, we do not make such mistakes." John Q. Public replied,
"But how are you guys able to get through the day?" Pinkie Pie asked,
"It is simple, just do what has to be done, and train to protect our home, that is it." John Doe replied,
"Well, before you all go, here, have a cupcake." Pinkie Pie said, and everycreature except the four humans eat them,
"You four aren't going to eat?" Pinkie Pie asked,
"It's unhealthy." Jane Doe replied,
"Come on, guys, just one won't hurt." Sandbar said,
"Actually, our diets are extremely strict, anything outside of our diet is forbidden to consume." Jane Q. Public replied, shocking the students and Pinkie Pie,
"Why the strict diet for?" Pinkie Pie asked,
"We have to be in top notch shape in Sapien, we cannot have unhealthy things in our bodies." John Doe replied,
"But it's sweet and super yummy." Pinkie Pie said,
"That will not help us." John Q. Public replied,
"What? Why not?" Pinkie Pie asked,
"We have evolved to the point where our tongues cannot taste anything." Jane Doe replied,
"WWWHHHHAAATTTT?!" Pinkie Pie asked with shock and horror,
"How come?" Gallus asked,
"Because most of the healthy and beneficial foods and drinks from our world have unpleasant tastes, we have evolved to the point of where we cannot taste anything so we can get the benefits and nutrition of healthy food and drinks without having to worry about having a bad taste in our mouths." Jane Q. Public replied, the world's natives were extremely shocked,
"What is your guys' diets?" Silverstream asked,
"Meat, vegetables, nuts, seeds, some fruits, a little starch, and water, nothing more, nothing less." John Doe replied,
"Even on parties?!" Pinkie Pie asked,
"We do not have parties." Jane Doe replied,
"Not even birthday parties?!" Pinkie Pie asked with shock,
"We don't do birthdays." John Q. Public replied,
"What about holidays?" Yona asked,
"We don't have any." John Q. Public replied, shocking everycreature,
"You guys don't have a Hearth's Warming?!" Sandbar asked,
"Like we just said, we don't do parties or holidays of any kind." Jane Doe replied,
"No parties?! No festivals?! No sweets?! No birthdays?! No holidays?! WHAT KIND OF COUNTRY IS THIS?!" Pinkie Pie asked,
"Sapien, the most militaristic, physically fit, and intelligent nation from our world." Jane Q. Public replied, the bell rung and everybody saw Pinkie Pie was having a meltdown, but everybody went to their next class.
Applejack's class was next and she taught them about apples,
"We usually do not eat apples." Jane Doe said,
"Why not?" Applejack asked,
"We do not require much fruit to function." John Doe replied,
"Plus, apples can be dangerous." John Q. Public said,
"How?" Ocellus asked,
"They have cyanide in them." Jane Q. Public replied,
"Y'all, that's only if ya eat too much in one sittin', a few at a time is alright." Applejack said,
"Excuse me, what's cyanide?" Silverstream asked,
"It's poison." Applejack replied, shocking the Student Six,
"This whole time, we've been eating poison?!" Silverstream asked,
"Y'all, it's only poisonous if ya eat too much at once, a few at a time is alright." Applejack replied,
"What about cider?" Sandbar asked,
"That's poisonous in high doses as well." Jane Doe replied, scaring the students,
"Look, y'all, Ah understand Ah'm supposed to teach honesty, but there is such a thing as bein' too brutal with honesty." Applejack said,
"We know, everybody takes honesty differently, not everybody can handle the harshness of reality." John Doe replied,
"Meaning?" Gallus asked,
"Not everybody can handle brutal honesty, and some can't take criticism, even when it's true." Jane Doe replied,
"How about y'all four?" Applejack asked,
"Yes, we can take brutal honesty well, evolving to having no emotions helped that." John Q. Public replied,
"How so?" Applejack asked,
"When someone says something harsh to us, it has no effect, since we don't have any feelings you can hurt, so harsh words, sayings, and insults have no effect on us, and by extension, that makes psychological warfare useless against us as well." Jane Q. Public replied,
"Wow, and I thought the dragons and griffons were tough." Smolder said,
"What do people call those affected by words?" Yona asked,
"Too sensitive." John Doe replied,
"What about those who can't handle brutal honesty?" Ocellus asked,
"Cannot handle the harshness of reality." Jane Doe replied,
"Y'all don't sugarcoat the truth?" Applejack asked,
"It is better to hear unpleasant truths than pleasant lies." John Q. Public replied,
"But do y'all sugarcoat the truth or not?" Applejack asked,
"Depends, if one can handle the harsh truth, then no, if not, then yes." Jane Q. Public replied, the bell rung,
"Have a good day, y'all, and guys, be careful with the honesty thing." Applejack said, and they all head to their next class.
Rarity's class was next and she was about to teach but screamed with shock when she saw the four teenage humans still wearing their military outfits,
"Don't you four have any alternate outfits?" Rarity asked, the four shake their heads,
"Take those ridiculous masks and oversized coats off, you are in a school for crying out loud." Rarity said, and the four students take off their trench coats, revealing their black long-sleeve shirts and pants underneath, along with their knee pads and elbow pads,
"What is with all of these spikes on your gloves and boots?" Rarity asked,
"Combat reasons." Jane Doe replied,
"Take those off, too." Rarity said,
"They're connected to our clothes." John Q. Public replied,
"Well, take the gloves off." Rarity said, and they do, revealing their human hands, they all had fair skin, the four then take off their ballistic masks, revealing their faces a bit, and then their balaclavas, John Doe had an oblong face shape, blue eyes, and short naturally red hair, Jane Doe had an inverted triangular face, brown eyes, and platinum blonde shoulder length hair, John Q. Public had a round face shape, brown eyes, and black hair in the style of a buzz cut, and Jane Q. Public had a diamond face shape, blue eyes, and shoulder length brown hair.
Rarity looked at the four teenager humans in disbelief,
"Why are your manes so short?" Rarity asked,
"It's called hair, not mane, and long hair gets in the way of battle." Jane Doe replied, Rarity was surprised by their ways of thinking,
"But you all aren't in battle, you all could at least grow out your hairs a bit." Rarity said,
"Then we won't be able to wear our facial armor." John Q. Public replied, Rarity was starting to glare, she then looks at their knives on their waists,
"Take those knives off as well." Rarity said, and they do,
"Alright, your first assignments is to make yourself new outfits, I want you all to have unique outfits that say something about yourselves, and no black, you all have enough black color already, and be sure to share, my class teaches generosity." Rarity said, and she gives them sewing materials, the four examine the sewing needles,
"You can do a lot with these." John Doe said,
"What else can you tell us?" Gallus asked sarcastically,
"These make for very good stealth weapons when coated with poison." Jane Doe replied, Rarity felt a nerve struck and turned to them,
"Stop thinking that way and use them to make yourself new outfits!" Rarity said angrily, and the four do, they look at the cloth used to make the outfits,
"What are those right there?" Jane Doe asked,
"They are gems, darling, I need them for special outfits." Rarity replied,
"Some of them are good for making arrowheads and blades." Jane Q. Public said, Rarity let out an angry groan,
"You guys have gems?" Smolder asked,
"Yeah, the blades of our knives are made out of obsidian." John Doe replied,
"What's obsidian?" Ocellus asked,
"A type of rock formed by volcanic activity, they're quite common in the Dragon Lands." Smolder replied,
"Excuse me, I'd like for you all to get back to work." Rarity said, and the four humans continue sewing,
"Hmm, thin, these materials will wear out on the battlefield quickly." John Q. Public said,
"Guys, they are meant to look appealing for fashion shows, not to be used in combat." Sandbar replied,
"What do you do for a living?" Jane Q. Public asked,
"I am a fashion designer, I make beautiful dresses and clothes for ponies to wear." Rarity replied,
"You would make a good armor maker." John Doe said,
"My clothes are for fashion, not combat!" Rarity replied,
"Then you have wasted your talent." Jane Doe said, Rarity became very shocked, she begins to bite her lower lip and began to groan, she walked out of the classroom, the students hear Rarity scream, the four humans just continue making their new outfits, they used dark blue. Rarity trotted back in and was ready to resume,
"Okay, I'm ready to resume, let me see your outfits." Rarity said, and the four humans showed her they have made dark blue long-sleeve shirts, pants, gloves, and mid-calf length boots, Rarity screamed with shock,
"What is this?!" Rarity asked,
"Our outfits." John Q. Public said,
"But... why are they all dark blue?" Rarity asked,
"Dark blue is a good color for us to hide and blend in at night." John Doe replied, Rarity became angry again,
"What about shoes?" Rarity asked,
"We do not wear shoes." Jane Doe replied,
"Why not?" Rarity asked,
"Because boots last longer, and protect our feet better than shoes." Jane Q. Public replied,
"Do tell me, how did you all sew the cloth so precisely?" Rarity asked,
"We had practice by stitching wounds closed." John Q. Public replied, Rarity became surprised,
"Okay, let's try something different, Hearth's Warming is near, and in pony customs, we make Hearth's Warming dolls, I assume you all have experience making dolls." Rarity said,
"Do voodoo dolls count?" Jane Doe asked,
"What's a voodoo doll?" Sandbar asked,
"We can make one." John Q. Public replied,
"Yes, please do, I'd like to see this, too." Rarity said, and Jane Doe made a voodoo doll that looked exactly like Rarity, with her coat, mane, tail, eyes, and cutie mark being perfect matches, the students were impressed,
"Why, what detail, this is more than worthy of being a Hearth's Warming doll." Rarity said happily,
"Wait, one question, why is it called a voodoo doll for?" Smolder asked, and John Doe held a sewing needle in his right hand, he stabs it into the right side of the doll's neck, Rarity screams in pain and holds the right side of her neck with her front hoofs, she fell to the ground, shocking the students,
"This is why it's called a voodoo doll, when you cause physical harm to the doll, the person it resembles feels the pain in the area the doll was harmed." Jane Doe replied, horrifying the students,
"That's scary." Ocellus said, Rarity growled and she took the doll away with her telekinesis,
"I have noticed you all seem to have rough skin, have any of you ever used a spa?" Rarity asked,
"Medical and health reasons only." Jane Doe replied,
"Medical and health reasons?! What about your beauty?!" Rarity asked,
"Some of the other nations from our native world pursued physical beauty, and received health problems, some even died as well." John Q. Public replied,
"Did they use natural beauty enhancements?" Rarity asked,
"No, surgery, some even used liquids in syringes to get rid of wrinkles." Jane Doe replied,
"Well, that's why right there, if you use things provided by nature, you won't have those problems." Rarity said, the bell rung,
"Class is dismissed, head on to your next class." Rarity said, and the four humans put their coats, gloves, balaclavas, and ballistic masks back on,
"Come on, guys, Fluttershy's class is next, I think you four are going to like her." Sandbar said, and they go to her class.
Fluttershy tries to teach but was scared by the appearance of the four humans, so were her animals,
"Uh, guys, I think you all need to take your masks off in this class, too." Gallus said, and the four do,
"Thank you, you four look much less scarier without them." Fluttershy said, and she begins to teach them how to be kind to animals,
"Actually, we already know this, we have to learn this back at home." John Doe said,
"Really? That's wonderful, please, share with us what you four already know." Fluttershy replied, and the four humans talk about the animals on how to win their trust, how to take care of them, how to groom them, how to train them, how to defend yourself if they fight back, how to kill them, and which parts of them are okay to eat, the last three made Fluttershy uncomfortable,
"Uh, um, can we skip the fighting and eating parts, please?" Fluttershy asked,
"Your loss of knowledge." John Doe replied, the students were scared of them,
"Okay, let's continue." Fluttershy said, and she teaches about animals native to Equestria, the humans did not recognize them,
"Say, do you guys have any animals from this world in your world?" Sandbar asked,
"A lot of them, the only sentient one we've seen so far is the yak." Jane Doe replied,
"Foreigners have yak at home?" Yona asked,
"Yeah, we hunt and eat you guys in our world." John Doe replied, Yona becomes horrified,
"Foreigners eat yaks?!" Yona asked with horror, and she ran out of the room while screaming with terror. Yona screams in fear as she runs through the school, destroying some of the things, the other ponies had restrain her and calm her down,
"Relax, Yona, tell us what's wrong." Starlight Glimmer said,
"Foreigners eat yaks!" Yona replied, shocking the ponies and Spike,
"They eat yaks?!" Pinkie Pie asked,
"Foreigners said yaks like regular animal in their home." Yona replied,
"Well, you guys aren't regular animals here, so maybe they won't eat you guys here." Twilight Sparkle said,
"Yeah, go on back to class, Yona, I'll fight them for you if they try." Rainbow Dash said,
"Thank you, Yona feel better." Yona replied, and she walked back to class,
"You okay, Yona?" Sandbar asked,
"Yes, Yona better." Yona replied, and she sat,
"Very good, Sandbar, you are already showing concern, you're learning kindness quickly." Fluttershy said,
"We already learned that at home, we treat anybody who is injured or overboard if they are by our nation." Jane Doe said,
"Oh, that's great, you guys have good hearts after all, even though you all are emotionless." Fluttershy replied, the students smiled and the bell rung,
"Go on to your last class, everybody." Fluttershy said, and they do after the humans put their balaclavas and ballistic masks back on.
Rainbow Dash flew around and was ready to teach the class,
"Hello, guys, I am Rainbow Dash, only the coolest teacher in the school." Rainbow Dash said,
"Prove it." John Q. Public replied, Rainbow Dash accepted the challenge, she began to do poses, demonstrate impressive feats of flying, and talked about herself,
"I am a Wonderbolt, so just like you four, I have a military background, too." Rainbow Dash said,
"You wouldn't make it into our country's military." John Doe replied,
"Why not?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"You're too emotional." Jane Doe replied, shocking Rainbow Dash,
"You're also too much of a braggart, gloating and bragging about what you can do makes it easier for the enemy to know what your capabilities are, and they can create ways to counter your abilities." Jane Q. Public said,
"You take too much pride in being a Wonderbolt as well, one of the first things in our evolution was not feeling any pride or confidence, we just do it, we evolved that way so we do not get angry and try to do something reckless when our prides and confidences are damaged." John Q Public said, Rainbow Dash was speechless,
"Wow, I didn't think you guys would go that far." Silverstream said,
"So... um... how do you guys stay loyal to one another?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"You teach loyalty?" John Doe asked,
"Yeah, my job is to teach you guys to never turn on your friends, no matter what." Rainbow Dash replied,
"It is one of the first things we are taught, we function better at fighting enemies and defending Sapien together than independently." Jane Doe said,
"Um, then I really don't have anything to teach you guys." Rainbow Dash said,
"Then we will pass the time through meditation." Jane Q. Public replied,
"Wait, actually, since I'm basically military, too, you guys can tell me about the components of your uniforms." Rainbow Dash replied,
"Well, you all already seen every part of our uniform except our undergarments." Jane Doe said,
"I'd like to know the purposes of each part." Rainbow Dash replied,
"Very well, this long coat we wear protects us from bullets, fires, shocks, blades, and hazardous environments except for radiation, we have a special suit for that, this coat also conceals our weapons, the spikes on the shoulders are so our tackles hurt more." John Doe said,
"Can they block unicorn magic?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"We are willing to try." Jane Q. Public replied,
"Okay, what about those things you guys wear that cover your entire head except the face?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"They are balaclavas, made from fireproof material, and keeps us warm in cold environments, our faces remain exposed so we can breathe." Jane Doe replied,
"And the scary black masks on your faces?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"They are meant to scare others, yes, but they provide protection in battle as well, especially from bullets." Jane Q. Public said,
"Okay, but what about the glass on the eyes?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"Acrylic glass, shatter resistant, and protects our eyes from harm." John Q. Public replied,
"Okay, but uh, how do you guys see with those over your eyes?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"Built-in vision enhancers, we can see just fine with the black glass over our eyes." Jane Doe replied, surprising the world's natives,
"What about those long-sleeve shirts and pants you guys wear under your coats?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"Special all terrain combat uniform, it looks like a regular uniform on the outside, but on the inside, our uniforms are made out of special bulletproof fibers, along with nomex and polyester to make it fireproof and waterproof, the uniform also makes us numb to pain, and all damage we take in a fight are halved by the fibers, the uniform also has special artificial muscle fibers on the inside, they increase our physical capabilities and increase our physical strength and endurance." John Q. Public replied, greatly surprising the world's natives,
"What about the gloves?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"Protect our hands and keep them warm in the cold." Jane Doe replied,
"What about the spikes and metal claws?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"For combat." John Doe replied, Rainbow Dash looks and sees what appears to be holes between the fingers,
"Hey, what are those holes between you guys' fingers?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"More weapons." Jane Q. Public replied,
"Holes?" Ocellus asked, and the four humans show them the three holes they had on each glove,
"How are they weapons?" Smolder asked, the four humans ball their hands' up into fists, they tighten them, a tinging sound was heard and black claws came out of the holes, there was three on each hand, shocking the world's natives,
"They're bladed claws, each claw is made out of obsidian." Jane Q. Public said,
"How do they revert back?" Sandbar asked,
"It works like a cat's claws, we just unfold our fingers and they go back in automatically." Jane Doe replied, and the four do it, the claws went back in,
"Okay, now the boots, what are their functions?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"Protect our feet and lower shins and calves in battle, the spikes serve as the same reason for the spikes on our gloves, combat reasons, but if the spikes are broken off, our kicks still hurt, even single boot we wear is steel toed." John Q. Public replied, surprising Rainbow Dash, she looks and sees something on the soles of their boots,
"Hey, I see those there, what are those under your boots?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"Spring loaded knives, they're concealed weapons." Jane Doe replied,
"Show me how they work." Rainbow Dash said, and John Doe stood up, he got on his back, lifted his legs up, and clicked his heels, the springs reacted and a black obsidian knife blade came out of the device at the bottom of his boots, greatly scaring the world's natives, John Doe clicked his heels again and the blades retracted, he stood up and went back to his desk,
"Wait, what about those gray vest things some of you guys wear?" Silverstream asked,
"Oh that, that's for the officers only, it's only extra armor that also provides them with pouches to hold extra bullets." John Doe replied,
"What's it made out of?" Sandbar asked,
"Kevlar." Jane Q. Public replied,
"Okay, what about the hats they wear?" Gallus asked,
"It's to let others know they're officers, every military officer in every nation from our world has to wear one." Jane Doe replied, Rainbow Dash looks at the time, there was plenty of time left,
"Are there anymore parts to your uniforms?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"Besides undergarments, that's it." Jane Doe replied,
"Well, there's still a lot of time left, so what do you guys want to do?" Rainbow Dash asked, the four were speechless,
"Ooh, ooh, I know, let's try their military training regime!" Silverstream said,
"Think you can handle it?" John Doe asked,
"If it's fun, then yes." Silverstream replied,
"Get ready, then." John Q. Public said,
"Come on, guys, let's go outside, I'm actually kind of curious about their training regime, too." Rainbow Dash said, and they do.
Rainbow Dash, Sandbar, Gallus, Ocellus, Smolder, Yona, Silverstream, John Doe, Jane Doe, John Q. Public, and Jane Q. Public head outside,
"Would you all like to use the same equipment we use in our exercises?" John Doe asked,
"Duh, it's about learning about your guys' way of life." Rainbow Dash replied, the humans in Sapien receive the message telepathically and Tom carried the outfits to Sapien, he flew there with his wind magic, he had seven of them, they were already designed specifically for the seven participating since the Count of Saint Germain saw the event happening in the future. Tom arrives and drops the uniforms down for them to wear,
"Okay, get dressed." John Doe said, and they do, they had trouble putting the outfits on, so Ocellus had to use telekinesis to get them onto everycreature, their masks were designed for their snouts and beaks, while Smolder's balaclava had holes on the sides to expose her horns, Yona had her horns exposed as well, while Ocellus' horn was concealed, Rainbow Dash's shirt and coat were designed to fit her wings, they were still covered. The seven put on their uniforms and Rainbow Dash, Gallus, Ocellus, Smolder, and Silverstream grunted loudly as they tried to stand up, the uniforms were very heavy to them, Sandbar stood up but struggled, while Yona had a little trouble standing,
"This outfit must weigh a ton." Gallus said,
"Forty pounds altogether." Jane Q. Public replied,
"Forty pounds?!" Silverstream asked with shock,
"How are you guys able to fly with clothes so heavy?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"We wore this outfit since we were kids, so we are accustomed to it." John Q. Public replied, and the others managed to stand up, Ocellus had the most trouble,
"Is it okay if we use our magic to change the environment?" John Doe asked,
"Go on." Rainbow Dash replied,
"Alright, your first exercise." John Doe said, he uses his earth magic to make a tall and steep hill appear,
"Marching." John Doe said,
"Uphill?!" Sandbar asked,
"All marching and running is uphill." John Doe replied,
"To those of you with wings, you cannot fly, it will be considered cheating." Jane Doe said, and they all march. The four humans walked uphill easily while the others struggled, Yona was in the front, Sandbar was behind her, Rainbow Dash was behind Sandbar, Gallus was behind Rainbow Dash, Silverstream was a little behind Gallus, Smolder was a bit behind Silverstream, and Ocellus was far behind Smolder, she was panting heavily as well,
"Guys, I think Ocellus is about to collapse." Smolder said,
"Then pick her up and carry her with you." Jane Q. Public replied, and Smolder went downhill a bit,
"Come on, Ocellus." Smolder said and carried her on her back and marched back up. The world's natives arrive at the top of the hill and panted while the four humans were not even tired,
"Okay, this is the next part, running." John Q. Public said, and they see another hill, they had to run, it was even steeper than the last hill,
"Wait, Yona need rest." Yona said,
"Yeah, I'm tired, too." Sandbar said, and all of the world's natives except Rainbow Dash fell, they all panted,
"When do we get to eat?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"Six AM, Nine AM, Twelve PM, Three PM, Six PM, and Nine PM." Jane Q. Public replied,
"What about water? I'm thirsty." Silverstream said,
"One cup every hour." John Doe replied,
"Uh, that's still not enough." Rainbow Dash said,
"It is for most, now come, the running isn't going to do itself." Jane Doe replied, and they stand up, they all run uphill while the humans have no problem, Ocellus was falling behind everybody else again, she was panting heavily,
"I can't go on much longer." Ocellus said,
"She's going to fall if she gives up, she needs to be carried." John Q. Public said, and Smolder and Silverstream ran to her since they were the closest,
"Come on, Ocellus." Smolder said, and they carry her, they all made it to the top. The four humans sit while the other creatures were exhausted, they panted heavily,
"How much more training is there?" Gallus asked,
"A lot, and when you start to get better, you will start carrying weapons, and backpacks full of rocks, and march up a steeper hill." John Doe replied,
"How long will the march be?" Silverstream asked,
"Walking, fifteen miles, running, ten miles, so, a marathon." John Doe replied, the world's natives groan and faint. The four humans use their earth magic to make the hills disappear and make sharp and jagged rocks appear, the four humans take off their clothes and only wore their undergarments, all four of them wore black boxer shorts while Jane Doe and Jane Q. Public also had black halter tops on, they go to the seven creatures trying their training and take off their outfits. The four humans then tie their hands and feet together and then tie themselves, John Doe was the last one left, so he tied himself with telekinesis,
"This is the crawling test, we have to crawl fifteen yards on the rocks." John Doe said,
"That doesn't sound too bad." Smolder replied,
"Ready, go!" John Q. Public said, and they do. The four humans endure the pain from the jagged rocks while the world's natives complained and exclaimed with pain,
"This hurts!" Silverstream said loudly,
"Keep going, this is also a test of endurance." Jane Q. Public replied, and they do, they exclaimed with pain, Smolder was doing better than the others due to her scales protecting her, Rainbow Dash grunted loudly as she pushed through, Ocellus was behind again, unable to take the pain,
"I can't go on, this is too painful." Ocellus said,
"You will have no place in our nation, Sapien does not tolerate complainers." John Doe replied,
"Ugh! Yona in pain! Yona want try something different!" Yona said,
"Come on, guys, let's try a different one, this really hurts." Sandbar said,
"How about the rest of you?" Jane Doe asked,
"Yeah, I'm kind of at my limit of pain here." Rainbow Dash replied, the four humans make the rocks disappear with their earth magic, and undo their binds with telekinesis, the world's natives were relieved. The four humans get dressed and they use telekinesis to put the uniforms back on,
"Okay, next exercise: push ups." John Doe said,
"Oh, that's easy." Rainbow Dash replied, and she got into a push up position, the six students did as well,
"That is not how we do push ups." Jane Doe said,
"How do you guys do it, then?" Sandbar asked, and they place their right legs on their left calves, and left arms on their backs,
"One armed and one legged, you switch after every ten push ups." Jane Q. Public said, making the seven nervous, but they did it,
"Wide armed push ups." John Q. Public said, and they hold their right arms' and right front legs out,
"Down." John Doe said, and the four do them, the world's natives exclaim with surprise as they fell, but they got back up and did them, they struggled, they went fast,
"You all are going too fast." Jane Doe said, they look at her,
"Like this." Jane Doe said, and she did a push up and went back up at a snail's pace, shocking the world's natives,
"No way! That's going to hurt!" Rainbow Dash said,
"How many of these do we have to do in total?" Gallus asked,
"Fifty with your left arm, fifty with your right arm, so a hundred." Jane Q. Public said,
"Can we move on to the next exercise, please?" Ocellus asked,
"Is there a tree we can use?" John Q. Public asked,
"Yeah, there's plenty." Rainbow Dash replied, and they look around, they find one and the others go to them, the four humans climb and wrap their trees around the branches and hang upside-down,
"This is the next exercise: upside-down hanging crunches, and hands on ears." Jane Q. Public said, and they try to climb, Yona was too heavy, and could not climb, so the humans help her with telekinesis,
"Okay, thirty, and slowly." Jane Q. Public said, and the four humans do them with ease, Rainbow Dash and her students grunt and sweat, tired from the other exercises, the branch Yona hung off of breaks and Yona screams as she falls, John Doe uses telekinesis to keep her from hitting the ground hard, Ocellus falls off from exhaustion and hits the grass, which still hurt a bit, the others manage to do the crunches and pant at the end. The humans jump down and take the others down with telekinesis,
"Next exercise." John Q. Public said,
"There's more?" Gallus asked,
"We have to, we need to exercise every muscle in our body." John Doe replied, Gallus sighs,
"Next exercise are jump squats, I'm sure you all know how to do a squat, but when coming back up, jump, and try to land softly, five sets of twenty." Jane Doe said, and they show them, the others try it and were tired after sometime, but managed them,
"Next exercise is stretching." John Doe said, the students and Rainbow Dash laugh,
"For real? Stretching is an exercise?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"Let's get started." John Q. Public said, and they sit with their legs out, they stretch forward and touch their feet, Yona was unable to do it due to her legs being small, the four humans do the splits next, Jane Doe and Jane Q. Public had an easier time due to them being more flexible, Sandbar and Gallus could not do it at all, Rainbow Dash could barely do it, so could Ocellus, Yona could not do a split, neither could Smolder or Silverstream. The world's natives pant and were tired,
"How much more is left?" Rainbow Dash asked tiredly,
"Pull ups with one hand, chin ups with one hand, lunges with dumbbells, squats with dumbbells, barbell rows, military press, shoulder rows, shoulder presses, rope climbing, and hot potato." Jane Doe replied,
"Ooh, hot potato sounds fun!" Silverstream said,
"I remember playing that with other ponies when I was a colt." Sandbar said,
"What did you guys pass?" John Doe asked,
"A beanbag." Sandbar replied,
"We don't use that." Jane Doe said,
"Then what do you guys use?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"We'll just show you." John Q. Public said, and they use their earth magic to make a hole in the ground, Tom received their telepathic contact and flew to them, he dropped a bomb. John Doe holds it and uses his fire magic on it to activate it, he passes it to Jane Doe, she passes it to John Q. Public, he passes it to Jane Q. Public, she throws it into the hole and the four jump back and lay on their stomachs, the bomb exploded in the hole. Rainbow Dash and the six students were extremely scared, the four humans stood up,
"The goal is to pass the bomb to each person at least once, when it reaches the last person, they throw it into the hole, you jump back, land on your stomach, and wait for it to explode." Jane Q. Public said,
"But... what if we can't pass it to one another in time?" Ocellus asked,
"Then it explodes, and the one holding it dies." Jane Doe replied, scaring the seven,
"Well, who wants to try?" John Doe asked,
"No!" Twilight Sparkle said from behind, the four turn around and look at her,
"No! Absolutely not! I am not going to have weapons and explosives on school grounds, if you four want to do those things here, use items that are not dangerous." Twilight Sparkle said,
"Well, time's almost up, guys, is there anything else you guys do?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"Well, there are the wood jumps we do." Jane Doe replied,
"Wood jumps?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"Yeah, they're like box jumps, but with wooden structures." Jane Q. Public replied,
"Let's see it." Rainbow Dash said, and John Doe uses his earth magic to make two of them, each one was made from three logs, two long ones in the ground, a third one on top of the two, it was wedged into holes on the other two logs, the one in the front was short, and the one behind it was a little taller. John Doe and John Q. Public jump on the wooden structure in front of them, they jump back and land on the other wooden structure, Rainbow Dash and the six students looked excited,
"Looks doable." Ocellus said,
"Can we try?" Gallus asked,
"Sure, be careful not to hit your legs on the logs." Jane Doe replied, Rainbow Dash and Sandbar went first, Rainbow Dash was able to do it but Sandbar could not, he could not even reach the top of the first wooden structure, Smolder and Gallus tried next, they were able to do it fine, Ocellus and Silverstream tried next, Ocellus could not jump high, but Silverstream made it to the top of the first wooden structure, but lost her balance,
"Whoa!" Silverstream said as she swung her front legs around to try to prevent herself from falling, but she lost her balance and fell off. Yona went last and tried to jump, but the first wooden structure broke when her front feet landed on it,
"We have to make it stronger to support the yak." Jane Q. Public said,
"Maybe next time." John Q. Public replied,
"Yeah, class is basically over, guys, I was actually supposed to give you guys a quiz on what you learned at the end." Rainbow Dash said,
"You all will be staying here for the night, I hope you all don't mind sharing rooms." Twilight Sparkle said,
"Not a problem." John Doe replied,
"Yes, we share all the time at home." Jane Doe said,
"That's amazing, well, go on and rest, and let's hope for a spectacular day tomorrow." Twilight Sparkle replied, and the four humans share a room,
"These beds are a lot softer than what we're used to." John Doe said,
"Yeah, we all usually sleep in trees and use moss as blankets." Jane Q. Public replied,
"I'm also used to making a bed out of logs." Jane Doe said,
"I remember using ferns and tree leaves to sleep on, it's too bad these beds don't have places to hide weapons and rations." John Q. Public said,
"Well, guess we follow procedure, we sleep with our weapons and armor on us in case something happens, well, let's sleep." John Doe replied, and they sleep in their uniforms and keep their knives with them just in case, the six students overheard them and their usual sleeping conditions, which made them extremely uncomfortable to think about, but they slept nonetheless. Princess Luna looks at the dreams of the four humans and see they were not dreaming, but meditating in their sleep to increase their spiritual strengths, and had telepathic connection to one another, so if one had a dream, the natives of Sapien would receive it, much to her surprise, but she continues her duties and gets rid of any nightmares.
Morning comes and the four humans wake up on time, they hear groans and exclaims of pain, Twilight Sparkle and her friends go to check what was wrong and saw Sandbar, Gallus, Ocellus, Smolder, Yona, and Silverstream were groaning in pain,
"What's going on?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"It is simple, since they are still new to our workout regime, they are experiencing delayed onset muscle soreness." John Doe said,
"Yeah, I'm a little sore right now, too." Rainbow Dash said, they look and see Sandbar was able to move a bit, Gallus and Smolder were moving with mostly no problems, Silverstream was groaning and in a lot of pain, Yona was a little sore, but moved with no problem, and Ocellus was so sore, she could not move,
"You okay, Ocellus?" Sandbar asked,
"I can't move." Ocellus replied, shocking the ponies, Spike, and students,
"Ah see what's goin' on, Ocellus' muscles are so tired right now, she can't move 'em, it's gonna take several days for 'em to get their energy back, that happened to me when Ah first started workin' on the farm." Applejack said,
"Applejack, darling, I don't think that's a problem, come, class, I think a trip to the spa is called for." Rarity replied,
"How do you four feel?" Spike asked,
"We're not sore at all." Jane Doe replied, shocking them,
"What? Never trained before?" John Q. Public asked,
"No, it's just you guys' physical training is tough, even the royal guard and Wonderbolt training is easier." Twilight Sparkle replied,
"Well, that's just the physical training, we also have mental training." John Doe said,
"What's that?" Smolder asked,
"Train your knowledge, academics, flora, fauna, fighting, the weather, knowledge of different cultures, values, and customs, the list goes on." Jane Doe replied,
"Do you guys have books?" Twilight Sparkle asked,
"Yes, it is a part of mental training." Jane Q. Public replied,
"That's amazing, I'd like to read one of them." Twilight Sparkle said,
"You can read them now if you want to." John Doe replied,
"Sorry, but I got to run the school, so maybe after I finish my duties." Twilight Sparkle said,
"Come class, let's go to the spa and get you all massages." Rarity said, the six students cheered, but Ocellus still could not move, so Yona put her on her back and they went to the spa. Aloe and Lotus Blossom massage the six students to help them with their muscles,
"Ah, this feels so good." Silverstream said,
"Yona feel nothing." Yona said, Lotus Blossom was having trouble massaging Yona,
"YEAH!!" Bulk Biceps said as he bursts through the wall, scaring everybody,
"I'll handle this!" Bulk Biceps said loudly and happily, and he began to massage Yona, she screamed a bit since Bulk Biceps massaged her hard, Rarity was getting a face mask on. The massages end and Yona groaned as she walked, while Ocellus felt much better,
"I feel much better, thank you, Rarity." Ocellus said,
"You're welcome, darling, now onto class." Rarity replied, and they all go.
Class starts and it was quiz day, the Mane Six were all in the class Fluttershy taught,
"Okay, what can you all tell me about this?" Pinkie Pie asked as she showed them a pot of sugar,
"It's a very effective weapon." John Doe replied,
"Weapon?" Pinkie Pie asked with confusion,
"Yeah, if you put it in water and boil it, you can stick it onto your enemies and burn them." Jane Doe replied, Pinkie Pie screamed with shock while the students looked at the humans with horror,
"NO!! Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! I mean as in for fun!" Pinkie Pie said,
"Let's just write it down." John Q. Public replied, and they do, the other five ponies with Pinkie Pie were not happy with their answer either. Fluttershy went next and quizzed the students on the animals and how to treat them, along with their behavior habits, Applejack went third and quizzed the students on honesty and apples, Rarity went next and quizzed the students on fashion and sharing, Rainbow Dash went last and quizzed students on loyalty, Twilight Sparkle went last,
"Okay, you four uh... um... what are you guys called?" Twilight Sparkle asked,
"Humans." John Q. Public replied,
"Okay, everyhuman, quick question, what kind of books do you guys read?" Twilight Sparkle asked,
"Nonfiction only." Jane Q. Public said, Twilight Sparkle glared at them,
"Be specific." Twilight Sparkle said,
"War tactics, how to disguise yourself, torture methods, execution methods, historical documents, rock science, biology, chemistry, meteorology, physics, anatomy, psychology, sociology, guides to flora and fauna, academic books, how to set traps, warning signs other people use to let people know danger is up ahead, how to make armor, how to take care of and clean weapons, how to hunt, how to build shelter, how to clean and purify dirty water, what kind of gems and jewels there are, how to tie knots, and the cultures, traditions, and customs of the nations of our world, past and present." John Doe replied,
"Wow, they do a lot of studying." Fluttershy said,
"What? But... what about fashion?" Rarity asked,
"That goes into the culture section." John Q. Public replied,
"You guys don't do baking?" Pinkie Pie asked,
"Cooking over a campfire is enough." John Doe replied,
"No, it's not! You guys really need to broaden your interests." Twilight Sparkle said,
"Our job is to fight off threats that come to our world, not look for forms of entertainment." Jane Doe replied,
"Honestly, y'all, y'all should open up yer emotions." Applejack said,
"That will undo our evolution." John Q. Public replied,
"Then undo it! I do not like having emotionless students in my school!" Twilight Sparkle said in a very annoyed tone,
"What are the problems you are having?" Jane Q. Public asked,
"You guys are completely emotionless, it's boring." Pinkie Pie replied,
"That, and it's creepy, the last thing we want in this school is a bully who has no feelings." Rainbow Dash said,
"Do you all care about the colors of your outfits?" Rarity asked,
"No." John Doe replied,
"Then change that, too, I am not a big fan of all of that black." Rarity said,
"We wear more than just black." Jane Doe replied,
"What other colors do you guys wear?" Sandbar asked,
"Uniform wise, white and dark blue, disguises and infiltration, depends on the area." Jane Doe replied,
"Do you all always wear black?" Rarity asked,
"No, it's winter in our world right now, once when it becomes summer, we change to white." John Doe replied,
"What's the dark blue for?" Twilight Sparkle asked,
"Nighttime operations." John Q. Public replied,
"The white and black are for nighttime operations, too." Jane Q. Public said,
"What is the purpose?" Ocellus asked,
"Blend in with the environment, on nights when there's a full moon, wear white, on new moons, wear black, on other nights, wear dark blue." Jane Doe replied,
"What about the summer and winter switches?" Gallus asked,
"That one should be self explanatory." John Q. Public replied,
"I don't know the reason." Smolder said,
"None of you guys do?" John Doe asked, they shake their heads,
"Alright, it's for temperature reasons, we wear black in the winter to absorb sunlight and stay warm, while we wear white in the summer to repel sunlight and stay cool." John Doe said, leaving the students speechless,
"Well, go on and finish the quiz, I have to grade them." Twilight Sparkle said, and the four humans did,
"Okay, I hope you four had fun here, class is done for you four, you all may go back." Twilight Sparkle said, and the four humans went outside, and flew back to Sapien with their wind magic.
Volvox, Dommiel, the Count of Saint Germain, Giovi, and Tom were busy reporting down the physical capabilities of the world's natives since they saw what some of them could do through the four teenagers,
"What do you think, Volvox?" Dommiel asked,
"Hmm, it seems these creatures are not as physically fit as we are, but still, it's only one or two of each species, so we must continue to exercise the highest caution around them." Volvox replied, Giovi nodded in agreement,
"Well, the four teenagers just finished their duties, I don't think the information they shared will be harmful to us." Tom said,
"We'll see, but right now, I agree, I don't think sharing physical training is too bad." Volvox replied,
"Well, let's have them rest, I think those four did a great job." the Count of Saint Germain said, the other four nodded and they continued reviewing what the four reported back telepathically.
Twilight Sparkle grades the papers and sees how everycreature did on the quiz, the other teachers, Starlight Glimmer, and Spike were with her, they finish grading soon,
"What the?!" Twilight Sparkle asked,
"What is it, Twilight?" Applejack asked,
"Those humans got a perfect score." Twilight Sparkle replied, surprising all of them, they look and see the four humans had perfect scores on the quiz, which Ocellus also got,
"A perfect score?! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!" Pinkie Pie asked while holding her front legs up,
"I don't understand, either, if they can't feel emotions, then how did they pass the parts on laughter, kindness, and generosity?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"Actually, when I had them in class, they knew how to treat each animal almost perfectly, they said they had prior training before they came here." Fluttershy replied,
"Ah can see why they passed the honesty part, they practice brutal honesty over there." Applejack said,
"Loyalty's obvious, too, I mean, they did say they defend one another, and they are military, which teaches loyalty." Rainbow Dash said,
"I don't understand how they passed the fashion part, they view fashion as in armor and protective clothing." Rarity said,
"How?! How did they pass laughter?!" Pinkie Pie asked,
"Is there anything on there about magic?" Spike asked,
"No, Spike, these are just the basic elements, I'm not looking forward to how they view magic." Twilight Sparkle replied,
"I'm not looking forward to their answer, either." Sunset Shimmer said to their rights, starling them,
"Sunset Shimmer? Did you just get here?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"No, I've been here since yesterday, Princess Twilight wrote a letter that told me to come here." Sunset Shimmer replied, surprising them,
"What do you think of them, Sunset?" Twilight Sparkle asked,
"I don't like them too much." Sunset Shimmer replied, and Twilight Sparkle finished grading papers and school ended, nothing happened for the rest of the day and everycreature rested for the rest of the day.
Morning comes and the military unit that patrols Sapien at night turned in to rest, the unit that patrols during the day comes out and line up,
"Okay, everyone, today is obstacle day, we'll all be participating, let's get started now." Volvox said, and he shrunk himself to be human size with his magic, he also made himself bipedal with his magic, they begin the obstacle course and the first thing was marching and running uphill while carrying weapons and their uniforms. Volvox was in front of everybody, Dommiel, the Count of Saint Germain, Giovi, and Tom were behind him, the officers were behind those four, and behind the officers were the regular soldiers, everycreature heard them and woke up from the noises they heard, they saw the humans marching up a steep hill, landmines go off and explosives appeared to the lefts and rights of the humans, the loud explosions scared the world's natives, Pinkie Pie and several others screamed as they covered their ears', Flurry Heart was panicking while Princess Cadence did her best to calm her.
The humans begin doing obstacle courses after the running and marching, they were climbing ropes, chains, and cliffs, running around while the officers punched tire swings to make them hit the regular soldiers, moving on monkey bars, dunking into ice cold water while wearing no clothes, which made the seaponies very uncomfortable, digging holes to crawl under walls, running at fast speeds to break a wall made of stone, climbing up the side of a tower while having ropes and cables tied to themselves, swinging from one wall to another, along with swinging into a window and breaking the glass with their feet, surprising the world's natives, the humans also had to do target practice with throwing knives, throwing hatchets, throwing shovels, shurikens, boomerangs, grenades, bows and arrows, crossbows, pistols, shotguns, revolvers, assault rifles, machine guns, sniper rifles, grenade launchers, rocket launchers, handheld railguns, wrist mounted coilguns, and magic blasts of fire, water, earth, and wind, the humans also did target practice with their tanks, battleships, gunboats, planes, and helicopters, the planes also had to do target practice with their airstrikes, the ponies were horrified at how many weapons they were seeing, they were also scared at seeing the impact the weapons had.
The humans run to a truck and one human jumps and kicks his feet through the windshield and enters, which scared the world's natives, he fights two humans who were already in the truck while several humans outside surround it and open the doors to take the two truck drivers out, they restrain them and beat them, scaring the world's natives. The humans practice telekinesis and they held their hands up to move aircraft in the air, shocking the unicorns and kirins,
"What?! They don't need horns to use telekinesis?!" Rainbow Dash asked,
"I don't understand, either, Rainbow!" Twilight Sparkle replied, and they also use their telekinesis to throw the aircraft around, along with using telekinesis on themselves to fly, surprising the world's natives. The humans also used pyrokinesis, hydrokinesis, geokinesis, and aerokinesis,
"Hmm, it seems their magic is not as powerful as our own." Princess Celestia said,
"I have noticed, sister, perhaps we can stand up against them with our magic." Princess Luna replied, and they continue watching the humans. The humans did stealth attacks next and separated their souls from their bodies, they appear behind other humans and begin to strangle them, this left the world's natives scared and horrified, they also saw the humans have separated their shadows as well, they saw their shadows disappear into the shadows of objects, along with change into different shapes and forms. The humans get the animals out of their resting areas and command them, the humans had domestic cats, bloodhounds, cheetahs, polar bears, grizzly bears, king cobras, coral snakes, rats, wild boars, horses, elephants, camels, peregrine falcons, oxen, moose, lions, dolphins, and sea lions, the humans had to win their trusts and treat them well while the officers changed the environment around with their magic to see if the humans can win their trusts, and guide them to open doors, they did and they congratulated the animals, the world's natives actually liked what they saw, and Fluttershy could not help but smile. The humans crawl through mud next and carried one another, gunshots and explosions went off everywhere, they all get through and had to do hand-to-hand combat next, some won, some lost, and they finish,
"Alright, everyone, last one, hot potato." Volvox said, and Tom took out a bomb while the humans made a big hole in the ground and lined up around it, Tom uses pyrokinesis and lights the bomb, he passes it to his right and to the Count of Saint Germain, he passes it quickly and gives it to a human, it goes from one human to another, the humans pass it and after a while, the last human gave it to Giovi, he managed to hold it despite having no fingers or thumbs, he passes it Dommiel, who then passes it to Volvox, he throws it into the hole and everybody turns around and jumps back and lands on their stomachs, a giant explosion comes out of the hole and it made a mushroom cloud appear, scaring the world's natives,
"Alright, we're done, meal time." Volvox said, and the humans sit. Tom uses telekinesis to hand out trays and glasses, they had five glasses, the biggest glass was filled with tap water, the second biggest one had plain milk, one medium sized glass had black coffee, the other medium sized glass had black tea mixed with honey, and the smallest glass had red wine. The humans had different foods to eat, they had baked chicken, baked turkey, well done pork chop, well done steak, boiled eggs, boiled potatoes, cooked carrots, raw celeries, raw cucumbers, cooked tomatoes, raw lettuce, raw broccoli, cooked cauliflower, cooked kale, cooked spinach, cooked peas, raw apples, raw oranges, raw cherries, raw grapefruits, raw watermelons, plain noodles, and brown rice, while the humans' meals were very diverse, there was very little of one type of food, and they were regulated so the humans had just enough to get all of the nutrition they needed.
The Mane Six and Spike decided to go see them and the natives of Sapien see them,
"You guys hungry?" a male officer asked,
"Actually, we're just here to visit." Twilight Sparkle replied,
"No, darlings, we already ate, thank you, though." Rarity said, and they observe the humans, they see every human had short hair or shaved heads, everybody's hair colors were either black, brown, naturally red, naturally blond, or white, every human also had brown eyes, and peach colored skin, Tom had short black hair,
"Why, you all have the same hair colors as one another." Rarity said,
"It is the hair colors we are born with." a female teenager replied,
"Hey, what happened to you guys?" Spike asked, the six mares look and see some of the humans had robotic parts on them, all of their robotic eyes were red, and every robotic part was a gray or silver color,
"We're cyborgs, our robotic parts replace the body parts we lost in a battle." an elderly male officer replied, the seven were very uncomfortable,
"How do you guys get those robotic parts of your body to work?" Twilight Sparkle asked,
"The Count of Saint Germain and Tom created them, they are powered by blood." Dommiel replied, making the seven uncomfortable,
"The humans have eight different blood types, the blood type of every human in my nation is AB-positive." Volvox said,
"So, you all donate blood?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"Yes, we have medical areas inside the buildings, we mainly use AB-positive blood for ourselves, but for foreigners, we give them O-negative blood." Tom replied,
"Where did you guys get that?" Spike asked,
"Trade through other nations from our home world." Dommiel replied,

"Want to try?" John Doe asked,

"Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt to do taste tests." Twilight Sparkle said, and they try them, but they did not try the meat, just seeing it made them sick to their stomachs, while they did like the fruits, and several vegetables, they did not like the kale, noodles, potatoes, carrots, and cauliflowers,
"What is this?!" Rainbow Dash asked,
"Kale." a female officer replied,
"The flavor's too strong." Twilight Sparkle said,
"What is with these noodles, they taste bland." Rarity said,
"They are just regular noodles." a male adult soldier replied,
"Can you guys at least season it?" Rarity asked,
"Nope, we always eat them plain." Jane Q. Public replied,
"Cauliflower tastes watery." Pinkie Pie said,
"I do not like these cooked carrots at all." Fluttershy said,
"These potatoes taste disgustin'." Applejack said, the other six agreed with her,
"Here, have a drink." John Q. Public said, and he let them try the tap water, milk, coffee, tea, and wine, they liked the tap water and milk,
"Ooh, this tea tastes sweet." Pinkie Pie said,
"There's honey mixed in it." a female elderly officer replied, Rarity spat out the coffee,
"What is this?!" Rarity asked,
"Strong black coffee." Jane Doe replied, the others try it and they spit it out,
"Eww! This is super bitter!" Pinkie Pie said,
"Can't y'all at least put some milk or sugar in it?" Applejack asked, they shake their heads,
"*groan* what is this red drink?" Twilight Sparkle asked,
"Wine." Volvox replied, the others try it and spit it out when they realized it was sour,
"How did you all make this?" Fluttershy asked,
"Grapes, takes a long time to make that drink." Dommiel replied, the others try the tea and agreed it was alright,
"Where are the animals?" Fluttershy asked,
"Over there, to our rights." Tom replied, and they look and saw them, they were eating and drinking what was healthy for them,
"You all really need to add better flavor to your cuisine." Rarity said,
"It will take away some of the foods' nutritional values if we do that." the Count of Saint Germain replied,
"But how are you all able to endure eating and drinking things with such terrible taste?!" Rarity asked,
"Remember, us humans have evolved to the point where we cannot taste anything we eat or drink, it is so we can consume the things that taste bad, but have a lot of nutrition and health benefits, without worrying about the bad taste." a female soldier replied, shocking the seven,
"But how are you all supposed to enjoy all of the yummy stuff?" Pinkie Pie asked,
"We don't, and remember, it's not taste that concerns us, it's nutrition." a second female soldier replied, shocking Pinkie Pie,
"Are you all still hungry or thirsty?" Dommiel asked,
"No, we're fine, but how do you two function without eating anything?" Twilight Sparkle asked,
"It is how we were created, the demons don't need nutrition to survive, neither do I." Volvox replied, surprising the seven,
"Well, we'll be going back now." Twilight Sparkle said, and they left. The humans finish their meals and went to sleep at 6:00 PM, that was when they went to their dormitories and the soldiers that patrol at night came out and did the exact same training, Volvox, Dommiel, the Count of Saint Germain, Giovi, and Tom did the obstacles again, the loud noises annoyed the world's natives when it became dark, they finish in the middle of the night and have their meals, which was the same thing as the soldiers who patrol during the day, they finish and patrol at night and were quiet, the world's natives sleep and the soldiers that patrol at night went to go sleep at 6:00 AM and the soldiers from the day come back out.
The next day comes and the other countries around Equestria wanted the humans to come to their countries so they can get to know about them better while Princess Celestia read the letter Twilight Sparkle sent to her on the humans' behavior,
"Unable to feel emotions? Do not have sense of taste? Create voodoo dolls? I do not think this is good for them." Princess Celestia said,
"Should we try to establish trade with them, sister?" Princess Luna asked,
"It's worth a try, I fear going to war with them, we saw how formidable they are, keeping a good relationship would be wise." Princess Celestia replied, and decide to watch the humans in the other countries.
The Cutie Mark Crusaders tried to play games with the human kids who visited Ponyville,
"This is a favorite of ours." Apple Bloom said, and Scootaloo drove forward with her scooter and wagon,
"What game is this?" a male human asked,
"See how fast I can drive." Scootaloo replied,
"We take bets on how fast she can go, loser cleans the clubhouse." Sweetie Belle said,
"Come on, it's fun. Ah bet Scootaloo will go ten miles per hour." Apple Bloom said,
"I bet twenty." Sweetie Belle replied,
"What about you guys?" Scootaloo asked,
"Are you driving on flat ground, uphill, or downhill?" a female human asked,
"Flat." Scootaloo replied,
"Then maybe at least twenty five max." a second male human said,
"Say, why do y'all have those glasses over yer eyes for?" Apple Bloom asked,
"Protection, and to hide our personalities, your eyes can say a lot about you." a third male human replied, Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle were surprised,
"Well, here goes!" Scootaloo said, and she drives her scooter, she drives as fast as she could before she hit a rock and flies off the scooter and into the air,
"Scootaloo!" Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle said worriedly, a second female human holds her right arm out and uses telekinesis on Scootaloo before she could hit the ground, Sweetie Belle looks and sees every human had a light blue aura for telekinesis, the human brings Scootaloo back,
"Yer alright, Scootaloo?" Apple Bloom asked,
"Yeah, thanks." Scootaloo replied, and she ran to her scooter and brought it back,
"I have to fix it, sorry, guys, but we have to cancel the game today." Scootaloo said,
"This looks easy to fix." the first male human replied,
"Yeah, maybe we can add some stuff to it to make it go faster." the first female human said,
"Sure." Scootaloo replied excitedly, and she lets the humans fix the scooter, they do and they added several thrusters, Scootaloo drives her scooter and fire came out of the thrusters, she drives forward and has fun while the others try to guess what her top speed will be.
The dragons were a bit nervous having the humans around, but they did like their armor,
"Dragons! I believe we can make our armor just like theirs, and perhaps make our country militaristic just like their own." Dragon Lord Torch said, the others agree,
"So, is there anything of interest you guys would like to see?" Princess Ember asked,
"Well, while we cannot feel curiosity, I believe a point of interest for us would be the weapons and armors throughout your species' history." a male officer replied, the dragons agree excitedly,
"Uh, about that, we don't have any weapons, we just use our fire breaths and physical strength." Princess Ember said,
"Do you guys have any torture devices?" a female human asked,
"No, but we do have a military of our own." Princess Ember replied,
"What do you soft little humans do for fun?" Garble asked,
"What do you mean by fun?" a second female human asked,
"Do you mamby-pamby humans do birthdays for little kids?" Garble asked,
"We do not celebrate birthdays." a male human replied,
"What? How about holidays?" Princess Ember asked,
"Nope." a second male human replied,
"My birthday is a holiday in this country, so is Ember's." Dragon Lord Torch said,
"We do not celebrate Emperor Volvox's birthday." a female officer replied,
"What?! You guys don't celebrate his birthday?!" Princess Ember asked with shock,
"We are creatures of war, we are soldiers, our duty is to fight and protect, not have fun and waste material for such things when they can be used in battle." a teenager male soldier replied, shocking the dragons,
"Whoa, these guys are tough." a blue male teenage dragon said,
"Yeah, definitely way too tough for friendship." a green male teenage dragon replied,
"I bet they're still softies in real fighting." Garble said, and he flew to Sapien to attack it. Volvox watches his people in the other countries to see how they do, he sees Garble flying to his country, the humans marching see him and aim their Stoner 63s at him, Garble begins breathing fire onto the humans marching, but they were unharmed due to their uniforms being fireproof, much to Garble's shock, the machine gun turrets on Volvox's fortress fire at him, the bullets bounce off, but they knock Garble down and eight humans grab him, two grab his wrists, two grab his ankles, two grab his wings, one grabs his tail, and one grabs his neck,
"Put him in the torture chamber." Volvox said, and the humans did. Princess Ember flew to Volvox,
"I do not appreciate having my people tortured." Princess Ember said,
"Well, that's what he gets for trying to attack my nation." Volvox replied,
"What are you guys doing to him?" Princess Ember asked,
"We're using the Tucker Telephone on him." Volvox replied as he looked to his right at one of the buildings, he and Princess Ember hear Garble scream as he got electrocuted,
"Well, don't keep him there for too long, we still need him." Princess Ember said, and she flew back to the Dragon Lands.
Princess Ember looks and saw the humans and dragons roughhousing, Princess Ember was very shocked, some of the human toddlers had the physical strength and endurance of a teenage dragon, while the adults being just as strong or more durable did not surprise her, she decided to join and have fun while Dragon Lord Torch watched and smiled, he and Princess Ember really liked the uniforms the humans wore, and thought about trying to make their own.
The griffons were unfriendly to the humans and treated them like trash,
"Will you show us around?" a female officer asked,
"If you have bits." a male griffon replied,
"Bits?" a male human asked,
"It's currency." Gilda replied in an annoyed tone,
"We do not have currency in our nation." a female human said,
"Wait, you guys don't have currency?" Gabby asked,
"We find using paper and coins in such ways as wasteful." a second female human replied, surprising the griffons,
"Then, what do you guys use those for?" Grampa Gruff asked,
"We use paper to record down history and as materials for building fire, we also sometimes use paper as weapons, paper cuts hurt a lot, while coins can be melted and reshaped into weapons." a male officer replied, the griffons were a bit surprised,
"You guys aren't here to try our scones, are ya?" Gilda asked,
"We cannot eat scones." a second male human replied,
"Yeah? Why not?" Gilda asked,
"It is unhealthy for our bodies." the male officer replied,
"One wouldn't hurt, I believe." Gabby said,
"We cannot have even one, it will make our bodies and health worse." a third male human replied,
"Wow, I didn't think you guys would take it so seriously." Gilda said,
"It's a must, we have to be in shape to fight off threats to our nation." the female officer replied,
"I bet you guys can handle being treated like dirt." Grampa Gruff said, Gilda walked to the male officer,
"Hey, ugly, yeah, I'm talking to you, get out of my way before I throw you to the side, and beat you to a pulp!" Gilda said, the male officer holds his right arm out and grabs Gilda's neck, Gilda begins to gag as the human chokes her, she tries to get his hand off but his grip was too strong, Gabby and Grampa Gruff rush in to help and they could not get the human's hand off of Gilda's neck, the human lets go after sometime and Gilda coughs,
"Be grateful I held back." the male officer said, Gilda growls at him,
"We'll let you guys explore Griffonstone, just don't hurt us." Grampa Gruff said,
"Sorry about the place being a dump." Gabby said,
"It is alright, this place is clean compared to most areas we have fought in." the female officer replied, surprising the griffons, the humans walk forward and explore Griffonstone while the griffons watch them carefully, the humans were ready to fight back if the griffons become hostile to them.
The yaks were curious about the humans, since the humans wore black clothing, they absorbed sunlight, and the coldness of Yakyakistan did not bother them,
"Bipedal creature come visit?" Prince Rutherford asked,
"Yes, I believe you people requested us." a male officer said, the yaks were growl at them,
"Why the unfriendly company?" a female human asked,
"Yaks heard humans eat yaks." Prince Rutherford replied,
"Well, yes, but we don't have yaks in our nation." a male human said,
"Humans no eat yak?" Prince Rutherford asked,
"Not our country, there are other countries with humans in them, they eat yaks." a second female human replied,
"Uh-huh! Humans do eat yak! Yak declare war!" Prince Rutherford said, and they charge. The humans use geokinesis to make big pillars of rocks appear in front of them, the yaks break through them and charge, so the humans hold them up with telekinesis, the yaks panic,
"Only some humans eat yaks, not all of them." a second male human said,
"So humans not eat yak?" Prince Rutherford asked, the yaks were confused, the humans realized the yaks were not very intelligent,
"No, humans do not eat yaks." the male officer replied, and they put them down,
"Yak apologize, yak share culture with humans!" Prince Rutherford said happily, the yaks stomp happily.
The humans learn about yak culture and their customs, they also hear the yaks play the yovidaphone and the humans did not react, the yaks thought they were cheering silently and they got along well with the humans.
The changelings were a little scared by the appearance of the humans wearing their uniforms, but it did remind themselves a bit of their old appearances,
"We actually used to look a bit like you guys." King Thorax said,
"For example?" a male human asked,
"Well, your black outfits is the same color as our original selves, before we learned to share love rather than taking it from others." Pharynx replied,
"You guys don't seem to do much for living." a female human said,
"Yeah, you all seem to behave like bugs." a female officer said,
"Well, we are getting ready for Hearth's Warming." a male changeling replied,
"I believe you all should be more focused on surviving." a male officer said,
"We are, we'd like to have fun every now and then." a second male changeling replied,
"Why are you guys called changelings?" a second male human asked, the changelings change into them,
"This is why." King Thorax replied, the humans realize they could not connect to the changelings telepathically, the changelings change back,
"Well, what do you guys think?" King Thorax asked,
"We have had our fair share of caves, but this one looks safer than most of the ones we've been in." a second female human replied,
"Judging by the insectoid appearances of you all, I believe you all are vulnerable to fire." a second male officer said, the changelings become scared,
"Please don't, fire will destroy us, and will burn the cave, we can't have it." Pharynx replied, and the changelings continue showing the humans around.
The hippogriffs and seaponies show the humans Mount Aris and Seaquestria, to their surprise, the humans were able to control the water, and had it go around them, while they moved around underwater with telekinesis,
"Excuse me, I am General Seaspray of the royal hippogriff navy, it is an honor to meet you all." General Seaspray said,
"Nice to meet you too, general." a male officer replied,
"That's unusual." a female human said,
"What?" General Seaspray asked,
"In our world, the commander of a navy is called an admiral, not general." the female human replied, General Seaspray was at a loss of words,
"Do you all have an army and an air force?" a second female human asked,
"Yes, we do, but our navy is the most powerful." General Seaspray replied, trumpets was heard and Sky Beak flew down,
"Well, everygriff, let's welcome our visitors, and let's have them try our flying contests." Sky Beak said, the hippogriffs agreed and they fly, the humans used aerokinesis to fly through the air and raced the hippogriffs.
The humans in Seaquestria swam around and heard whales singing,
"Are you all enjoying your stays?" Ocean Flow asked,
"We're just looking around." a male human replied,
"So, what do you guys do under the water at Sapien?" Terramar asked,
"Train." a second male human replied,
"Train?" Terramar asked,
"Yes, we have to operate submarines under the water." a male officer replied,
"What's a submarine?" Princess Skystar asked,
"A watercraft." a female human replied,
"What does the emperor do in his free time?" Queen Novo asked,
"He usually watches out for danger to Sapien, Emperor Volvox is very powerful, even though he is dormant most of the time." a third male human replied, their attentions were caught,
"Come on, let's have you guys have something to remind yourselves of your time here, let's make some seashell necklaces." Princess Skystar said, and they do.
The kirins decided to have the humans come to their home in hopes of learning about them, the humans found them to be very energetic,
"Hi, guys, I'm Autumn Blaze, I know we don't attend the School of Friendship, but Princess Twilight hasn't spoken to us about that yet, but anyway, this is Kirin Grove, it is ruled by Rain Shine, she's that tall kirin you see over there, and we change into nirik when we are angry, and we had to go into a magical river stream to make ourselves completely silent and emotionless, and I was exiled for getting my voice back and..." Autumn Blaze said, she went on and on as she trotted to Kirin Grove and the humans followed her,
"Hello there, I heard about you guys attending the School of Friendship, it is an honor to have you all here, I hope you all enjoy your stay." Rain Shine said, the humans did not respond,
"Aren't you guys going to say something?" Autumn Blaze asked,
"We have nothing to say at the moment." a male human said,
"What? Are you guys ignoring us?" Autumn Blaze asked,
"No, we just have nothing to talk about at the moment." a second male human replied,
"Plus, you're speaking, yourself, so we're listening." a female human said,
"So, what do you guys think about our history?" Autumn Blaze asked,
"Keep going, Emperor Volvox will like to document this." a third male human replied, Autumn Blaze becomes excited and decides to put on a play while she narrates the history of her kind. Volvox was in his fortress and receiving the information telepathically, he took mental notes of it and was coming up with precautions on how to deal with the kirins if they change into niriks. Autumn Blaze goes on and on about the kirin's history and the other kirins act out the parts, they reach the end and songs appeared throughout the play every now and then, they eventually finished,
"Well, what do you guys think?" Autumn Blaze asked, the humans just stood there and watched, she frowned,
"What? Didn't you guys enjoy it?" Autumn Blaze asked,
"We cannot feel joy." a male officer said,
"What?! Are you guys saying I wasted my time?!" Autumn Blaze asked,
"No, we have learned about your history and niriks, you have provided us valuable information." a female officer said,
"But did you guys like it?" Autumn Blaze asked,
"We're indifferent to it." a second male human replied,
"But... what about the costumes? And the props? And the songs?" Autumn Blaze asked,
"They were unnecessary in teaching us your kind's history, but they still gave us valuable information." a second male officer replied, Autumn Blaze was enraged, she screamed and turned into a nirik with her flames raising very high,
"I WORKED FOREVER ON MAKING THIS PLAY!!" Autumn Blaze yelled angrily, the humans were calm and unresponsive, Autumn Blaze screams with rage and the fire begins to spread throughout Kirin Grove. The humans use their water magic to douse the flames while the other kirin work to calm Autumn Blaze down, they did and Autumn Blaze panted when she changed back to normal, Rain Shine walked to them,
"I think you all should leave, Autumn Blaze likes to have fun, so if this continues, our home might burn down once again, so please go." Rain Shine said, and the humans left while Autumn Blaze was still calming down.
The next day comes and the humans were in Ponyville, some of them went to Sugarcube Corner, and Pinkie Pie made cupcakes,
"Here you all go, your yummy to the tummy and feel good inside cupcakes." Pinkie Pie said,
"We're not eating this." John Doe replied,
"Why not?" Pinkie Pie asked,
"It is unhealthy for our bodies." a female toddler human replied,
"But it's super yummy." Pinkie Pie said,
"You forget, we cannot taste anything." a male human replied,
"EAT THE CUPCAKE!!" Pinkie Pie yelled,
"No, no matter how much you beg." a male officer said,
"OH, COME ON, I WORKED FOREVER ON MAKING THESE!!" Pinkie Pie yelled,
"Then you have wasted your time." a female officer replied,
"JUST... ONE... BITE!! PLEASE!!" Pinkie Pie yelled,
"No, it is unhealthy for our bodies, therefore, we will not eat it." a female adult human replied, Pinkie Pie's front half of her body dropped to the floor, she put her front hoofs over her face and began to cry while throwing her hind legs around, the humans watch her, they just shrug and exit Sugarcube Corner while Pinkie Pie continued to cry with her face buried in her front hoofs and threw her hind legs around.
Applejack had several humans help her on the farm and they were able to do the farm work easily, along with knowing how much water to give to each apple tree and vegetables,
"Wow, Ah think we'll have to give 'em more work, Big Mac." Applejack said,
"Eeyup." Big Macintosh replied,
"How do y'all know what to do?" Apple Bloom asked,
"We have the same fruits and vegetables back in our world." John Q. Public said,
"Y'all, lunch is ready." Granny Smith said, and the humans saw the fruits and vegetables, they eat them and swallowed them after chewing them thirty times,
"What in tarnation?" Applejack asked,
"What is it?" a female teenage human asked,
"Why are y'all swallowin' only after chewin' thirty times?" Applejack asked,
"Because when we chew thirty times, we get most of the nutrition out of the food." a male human replied,
"But what about taste?" Apple Bloom asked,
"They can't taste anythin', Apple Bloom." Applejack replied,
"Would y'all still like to try some of mah famous apple pies?" Granny Smith asked,
"We cannot." an elderly male cyborg replied,
"Why not?" Apple Bloom asked,
"It is unhealthy for our bodies." Jane Doe replied,
"Oh, not this again." Applejack said,
"Come on, y'all, one bite ain't gonna hurt." Granny Smith said,
"Sorry, but it is forbidden by our emperor to indulge in anything unhealthy." a male officer replied,
"Wow, y'all are more strict about it than Ah thought." Applejack said,
"Uh, excuse me." Sugar Belle said as she walked to them,
"I understand you guys need to stay in shape, but you guys rejecting our sweets like that is considered very rude." Sugar Belle said,
"We apologize, but we must remain in peak physical condition." a second male human replied,
"Does that mean more for us, Granny?" Apple Bloom asked,
"Well, if they ain't gonna eat it, then Ah suppose so." Granny Smith replied,
"Yay!" Apple Bloom said, the humans finished their meals and stood up and waited,
"What are y'all doin' now?" Applejack asked,
"Waiting for the food to sit, our physical work will be sluggish if start working again immediately." a third male human replied,
"Oh, so y'all have that, too, alright then, break time." Applejack said, and the humans wait for the food to sit until they start working again.
The humans in Carousel Boutique make outfits for Rarity and Sweetie Belle, but the two were not liking them,
"What is this?!" Rarity asked, she saw the outfits they made would cover a human from head to toe, along with it being dark blue,
"Why is it all dark blue for?" Sweetie Belle asked,
"Because you said the photos are taken in the darkness, dark blue will help you blend in better." a male teenage human replied,
"No, you're not supposed to blend in with your surroundings, you're supposed to stand out so we can see everything in detail." Rarity said,
"That increases the risk of getting shot." Jane Q. Public replied,
"Getting shot?" Sweetie Belle asked,
"You get spotted, you get shot in the head, that's it, you're dead." a female human replied, Rarity groaned with annoyance,
"This isn't the battlefield! This is a photo shoot! No one is going to try to shoot you!" Rarity said angrily,
"Hey, what is this?" Sweetie Belle asked as she looked at the outfits, Rarity looks and was shocked to see armor on the outfits,
"Why is there armor on the outfits?!" Rarity asked,
"You said the wearer has to wait in line, the armor is in case someone tries to physically attack the wearer." a male human replied, Rarity was seething,
"Come on, guys, be creative, try to add some decorations and more colors." Sweetie Belle said,
"We also made one in pure white, since a lot of people will be cheering, their breath will make the place hot, the white will keep the person cooled down." a second male human replied,
"But all white is such an ugly color unless it's a uniform." Rarity said,
"You're white yourself." a female officer replied,
"I was born this color!" Rarity said in annoyed tone,
"What do you mean as in decorations, Sweetie Belle?" a male officer asked,
"Well, I think some yellow flowers and pink hearts will go good with the white one." Sweetie Belle replied,
"Yellow will make you stand out more easily." the first male human said,
"Pink will also make it easy for the enemy to spot you, but not as much as the yellow and white." Jane Q. Public replied, Rarity was still angry,
"That is it! Out!" Rarity said angrily as she pointed her front right hoof to the door, the humans leave while Rarity was not happy with their view on clothing.
Fluttershy was showing the humans the animals at her cottage, the humans knew how to take care of them, what to feed them, and what the animals liked,
"This is wonderful, you all know how to take care of the animals." Fluttershy said, the humans did not respond,
"Well, which animal do you all like?" Fluttershy asked,
"The bear, very effective in combat." a male human said, shocking Fluttershy,
"Those birds can also be commanded, they can be used to peck enemies." a female human said, surprising Fluttershy,
"Um, can we please not talk about warfare?" Fluttershy asked, and the humans stop,
"Are there any animals you ever had trouble dealing with?" Fluttershy asked,
"As in?" a teenage female cyborg asked,
"Don't know how to take care of, or having aggressive behavior." Fluttershy replied, the humans think,
"Do mosquitoes count?" a second male human asked,
"What's the matter with them?" Fluttershy asked,
"Most dangerous fauna from our world." a third male human replied,
"I'll have to see them first." Fluttershy said,
"What about cockroaches?" a second female human asked,
"Oh no, I can't handle roaches, that's one bug I don't like." Fluttershy replied,
"Well, are there anymore animals to take care of?" the first male human asked,
"Yes, they're in the forest." Fluttershy replied,
"We'd like to learn about them." the first male human said,
"That's wonderful, follow me." Fluttershy replied, and they enter the Everfree Forest. The humans arrive into the Everfree Forest and they begin collecting the feces of the animals,
"What are you guys doing?" Fluttershy asked with shock,
"These are good for making poisons." a third female human replied, Fluttershy was shocked, but continued on and told the humans about the animals in the forest.
The humans in Cloudsdale watch the Wonderbolts, they flew up with their wind magic, Rainbow Dash and the Wonderbolts perform while Scootaloo and the other ponies cheer while the humans just watch,
"What did you guys think about that?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"It is unwise to show off your skills like that." a male officer replied, everypony looked at them,
"What did you just say?" Spitfire asked,
"Showing off like that is not a good idea." a male human replied,
"Why not?" Soarin asked,
"Because it will let your enemies see your capabilities, and allow them to create counterattacks or exploit your weaknesses in battle." a female human replied, the Wonderbolts and crowd were speechless,
"Do you guys have weaknesses?" Scootaloo asked,
"Plenty." a female officer replied,
"One weakness I see is your uniforms look heavy." Sky Stinger said,
"Yeah, those outfits don't look very mobile, either." Vapor Trail said,
"This is only the coat, we are wearing a very flexible outfit underneath." a second male human replied, surprising the Wonderbolts,
"I've seen their outfits, guys, those uniforms stretch and adapt to the way they're standing or sitting." Rainbow Dash said,
"Wow, maybe we should adapt their uniforms as our own." Vapor Trail said,
"I doubt it, I don't think Princess Celestia is going to allow it." Spitfire replied,
"I know, let's see their flying capabilities." Scootaloo said, the Wonderbolts agreed,
"Sure, let's see what you guys can do." Rainbow Dash said,
"YEAH!!" Bulk Biceps said, and the humans use their wind magic to do the Wonderbolts obstacle course, they were fast, but not as fast as Spitfire, Soarin, and Rainbow Dash, they finish pretty early,
"Say, not bad, I think you guys would make good Wonderbolts if you were ponies." Spitfire said, the crowd begins to demand the show to go on,
"Well, we have to finish our show." Rainbow Dash said,
"We don't do aerial shows." the first male human replied,
"Why not?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"Because in our world, when a nation's air force does an aerial show, a common problem that occurs is an enemy nation shooting them down, killing them." the second male human replied, shocking all of the Pegasi present,
"Well, you guys aren't there right now, so maybe you guys can do an aerial show in the future, well, have to go." Rainbow Dash said, and the Wonderbolts continue their aerial show while the humans, Scootaloo, and the Pegasi watch.
Twilight Sparkle had humans outside her castle and was giving them the books she loved to read, she wanted to share it with them, Spike, Starlight Glimmer, and Sunset Shimmer were with her,
"I loved these books as a filly, I hope you all enjoy them." Twilight Sparkle said,
"What kind of books are these?" a male officer asked,
"Oh, the usual, fairy tales, tall tales, books foals love." Twilight Sparkle replied,
"We only read nonfiction books." a male human toddler said,
"Come on, guys, give them a try." Spike replied,
"Yeah, imagination is a fun thing to have." Starlight Glimmer said,
"Go on without me, guys, I'm more of a hands on learner." Sunset Shimmer said,
"Experience is the best teacher." a female cyborg officer replied, Sunset Shimmer smiled,
"What kind of books do you guys read?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"Science, history, academics, how to cast magic, how to make medicine, how to make poison, how to tie knots, how to swim, engineering, how to build and clean weapons and armor, how to operate technology, guides to flora, fauna, aliens, type of ghosts, sicknesses, and diseases, curses that can be put on objects, how to detect paranormal hauntings, how to use torture devices, how to travel into the spiritual world, maps of other planets, realms, and dimensions, and culture and customs of other creatures." a female human replied,
"Well, its good you all are well educated, but I do enjoy a fictional story every now and then." Twilight Sparkle said,
"Writing fictional stories is wasting paper and writing materials." a male human replied,
"It's not wasting if it's for fun!" Twilight Sparkle said in an annoyed tone,
"It would be more useful to use them to build a fire to survive in the cold." a second female human replied,
"Stop thinking that way and just enjoy the book!" Twilight Sparkle said in a very annoyed tone,
"What do you know about our ways?" the male officer asked,
"My brother commands the entire military of this country, I know a lot about it, now read!" Twilight Sparkle replied, and the humans open the books and read, they were silent and reading quickly, Twilight Sparkle watches and they finish after about an hour, much to her surprise,
"Okay, now, what did you guys think?" Twilight Sparkle asked,
"The protagonists are not very intelligent." a second male human replied,
"What do you mean by that?" Twilight Sparkle asked,
"The protagonists should have attacked their enemies from behind rather than straight forward." the second male human replied, Twilight Sparkle began to grumble and growl,
"NO!! The idea of this is to share what you felt about the story, not discuss what the main characters should have done!" Twilight Sparkle said angrily,
"Well, if that's the case, we felt nothing." the second female human replied,
"You guys didn't feel anything?!" Twilight Sparkle asked,
"Nope, we just read." the first male human replied, Twilight Sparkle began to growl and grumble,
"Just go, I need some time alone." Twilight Sparkle said, and the humans left while Twilight Sparkle stormed into her castle.
The next day comes and Princess Celestia received a letter from Twilight Sparkle talking about the humans' behaviors in Ponyville, her five friends discussed their experiences earlier that morning, Princess Celestia was not happy with the information, she contacted Princess Ember, Grampa Gruff, Prince Rutherford, King Thorax, Queen Novo, and Rain Shine, they were in her throne room, Princess Luna and Princess Cadence were with her, Princess Celestia sent a letter to Sapien with her telekinesis, Volvox reads it and sees it said the countries wanted to establish good relationships with him,
"Tom, politics stuff." Volvox said, and he uses his telekinesis to hand the letter to Tom, he reads it and saw the letter said to come to the castle to the country's east, Tom heads there with two male officers to act as his bodyguards.
Tom arrives at Canterlot and saw the other rulers, Princess Luna and Princess Cadence were shocked to see their outfits,
"Tom, I would like for your face to be exposed." Princess Celestia said,
"I cannot do that." Tom replied,
"Why not?" Princess Luna asked,
"In case things get ugly or a fight breaks out, I have to be fully armored at all times." Tom replied,
"We just want to talk, Tom, we promise, so please take your mask and balaclava off." Princess Cadence said, and Tom was hesitant, but he did, revealing he had tan skin, a square face shape, a defined jaw, a square shaped chin, dark brown eyes, and short black hair, he put his peaked cap back on,
"Tom, I would also like for your coat to be open." Princess Celestia said,
"Why?" Tom asked,
"You look like you're hiding something under your coat, so please open it so we can feel safe." Princess Ember replied, and he undoes the buttons, revealing his tactical vest, pants, and boots,
"Thank you, now we can start, we'd like to have good relationships with Sapien." Princess Celestia said,
"As do we, we do wish to have unnecessary bloodshed." Tom replied,
"So, uh, what do you guys export?" King Thorax asked,
"Weapons and armor." Tom replied, surprising the rulers,
"That's it?" Grampa Gruff asked,
"You guys don't export beauty supplies?" Queen Novo asked,
"We don't have any." Tom replied,
"How about food?" Prince Rutherford asked,
"Sometimes, yes." Tom replied,
"Kirin Grove's borders are still closed for trading, but we might open them up if this goes good." Rain Shine said,
"What do you guys mainly export?" Princess Cadence asked,
"Weapons and armor." Tom replied, leaving the rulers baffled,
"What do you guys accept as import?" King Thorax asked,
"Weapons, armor, medicine, poison, and torture devices only." Tom replied, shocking the world's rulers,
"That's it?!" Princess Luna asked,
"That's it." Tom replied,
"But... what about delicacies?" Princess Cadence asked,
"For example?" Tom asked,
"Foods." Princess Luna replied,
"Healthy food only." Tom said, surprising the rulers,
"How about salt?" Prince Rutherford asked,
"That's not food to us." Tom replied,
"What do you use it for, then?" Princess Celestia asked,
"Preserving meat." Tom replied,
"How about objects, like gems?" Princess Ember asked,
"If we can carve it and shape it, we'll accept it." Tom replied,
"Your country is volcanic, right?" the human to Tom's right asked,
"Yes, it is." Princess Ember replied,
"We'll take the obsidian from the volcanoes, then." the human to Tom's left said,
"Alright, and in exchange, we'd like some of your weapons and armor." Princess Ember replied,
"It's a deal." Tom said, Princess Ember smiled,
"Yakyakistan's got wood and straw." Prince Rutherford said,
"We'll take them." Tom replied,
"Yak would like coat to stay warm in cold." Prince Rutherford said,
"Alright, but it's heavy." Tom replied,
"What do the rest of you have to offer?" the human to Tom's right asked,
"Griffons don't give anything." Grampa Gruff replied,
"Well, us seaponies and hippogriffs can offer some of our old trumpets." Queen Novo said,
"We'll take it in exchange for anything you want." Tom replied, surprising them,
"I'd like to see the components of your ships, then." Queen Novo said,
"Well, I don't think us kirin have anything to give." Rain Shine said,
"Nope, the changelings still don't trade yet." King Thorax said,
"What about you three?" Tom asked,
"Well, we do have several baked goods." Princess Cadence replied,
"We won't take it." Tom said,
"What about writing ink?" Princess Luna asked,
"Sure, we can use that to document our nation's history." Tom replied, the three alicorns smile,
"Okay, I think we're off to a good start, meeting dismissed, everycreature." Princess Celestia said, and they all leave while Tom puts his balaclava and mask back on and buttons his coat back up.
The humans did their trading and they use the obsidian from the Dragon Lands to make more bladed weapons, they carved the wood to make handles for weapons, they used the straw to make targets for them to practice their accuracy with long ranged weapons and throwing weapons, they melted the hippogriff's old trumpets to make more weapon handles, they also kept some of the gold molten to use as a weapon in later situations, while the humans gave their weapons and armor to the dragons, and their coats to the yaks, they showed the hippogriffs and seaponies their ships,
"Hey, where are those seashell necklaces I made?" Princess Skystar asked, she looks and screams with shock when she sees the humans were using them as makeshift whips and garrotes. Princess Skystar flew down to them,
"What are you guys doing?!" Princess Skystar asked,
"We are using the necklaces practically, the seashells were actually a good touch, they make the whips hurt even more." a male human replied, Princess Skystar began to growl and grumble,
"NO!!" Princess Skystar said, they look at her,
"Those necklaces were to be souvenirs from Seaquestria! Not to be converted into weapons and military use!" Princess Skystar said angrily,
"For what purpose would that serve?" a female elderly cyborg officer asked,
"Sedimentary value!" Princess Skystar replied,
"We find sedimentary value to be pointless." a second male human said, Princess Skystar exclaimed, she began to groan a little and then began growling, she let out a scream and turned into a seapony and went back to Seaquestria, the humans just continue with their days.
Humans were in Ponyville again and seeing the Mane Six and their friends, Pinkie Pie was still upset over them not accepting her treats, Twilight Sparkle decided to have a male human sit with her,
"Okay, let's play a game, I'm going to say something, and you say what that object is to you guys, I hope this will help us reach a better understanding how your ways of thinking work." Twilight Sparkle said, and they sat,
"Sugar." Twilight Sparkle said,
"Napalm." the male human sitting across from her replied, shocking her and her friends,
"Books." Twilight Sparkle said,
"Documents of history." the male human replied,
"Hot sauce." Twilight Sparkle said,
"Eye burners." the male human replied, surprising them,
"Chocolate." Twilight Sparkle said,
"Dog poison." the male human replied, shocking her and her friends, Rarity screamed out of shock, Fluttershy and Applejack were extremely uncomfortable,
"Trash bag." Twilight Sparkle said in a slightly annoyed tone,
"Poncho." the male human replied calmly, surprising them, but Rarity was very uncomfortable,
"Gold." Twilight Sparkle said,
"Material to create handles, and a weapon." the male human replied,
"A weapon?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"Molten gold." the male human replied, shocking Twilight Sparkle and her friends,
"Gems." Spike said,
"Used to create blades." the male human replied, shocking Spike,
"Toothpaste." Rainbow Dash said,
"Keeping teeth strong, leather cleaner, and ointment to closed skin rashes." the male human replied, the mares and Spike were surprised,
"Lemon juice." Pinkie Pie said,
"Invisible ink." the male human replied,
"Vinegar." Pinkie Pie said,
"Disinfectant." the male human replied,
"Milk." Pinkie Pie said,
"Ointment for bug bites, sunburns, and itchy skin." the male human replied,
"Flour." Pinkie Pie said,
"Ant repellent." the male human replied,
"Huh?" Pinkie Pie asked with confusion, her friends were confused as well, but Pinkie Pie continues,
"Honey." Pinkie Pie said,
"Medicine to cure minor scrapes and cuts." the male human replied, Pinkie Pie was getting annoyed,
"Body waste." Fluttershy said, the others look at her with surprise,
"Urine is a cleaner for white clothes and a weapon, while feces is poison." the male human replied, Rarity screamed with shock,
"Clothes washed in urine?!" Rarity asked,
"What about this urine as a weapon thing?" Applejack asked,
"We use it to make bombs as well." the male human replied,
"Bombs?!" Rainbow Dash asked,
"What about this feces as poison?" Sunset Shimmer asked,
"We coat our traps in it, so bacteria goes into the victim's body when stabbed." the male human replied, shocking the eight mares and Spike,
"Hold on, guys, let me try. Squirt gun." Sunset Shimmer said,
"Flamethrower." the male human replied, shocking Sunset Shimmer,
"Bleach." Sunset Shimmer said,
"One ingredient to make a bomb." the male human replied,
"Drain cleaner." Sunset Shimmer said,
"The other ingredient to make the bomb." the male human replied,
"Camera." Sunset Shimmer said,
"Paranormal detector." the male human replied, Sunset Shimmer began to glare,
"Styrofoam." Sunset Shimmer said in an annoyed tone,
"Also napalm." the male human replied,
"Salt." Sunset Shimmer said,
"Meat preserver." the male human replied,
"Phone." Sunset Shimmer said,
"What kind of phone?" the male human asked,
"Those touchscreen phones you see every day." Sunset Shimmer replied,
"Multi-tool device." the male human said, Sunset Shimmer did not argue with that,
"Dust." Sunset Shimmer said,
"Explosive." the male human replied, confusing Sunset Shimmer,
"Fashion." Rarity said,
"Armor." the male human replied, Rarity exclaimed with shock and then growled angrily,
"Sewing." Rarity said,
"Closing wounds." the male human replied,
"Sewing needle." Rarity said,
"Concealed weapon, sometimes coated with poison." the male human replied, Rarity growled,
"Farmin'." Applejack said,
"Chance to grow food to survive." the male human replied,
"Apples." Applejack said,
"Cyanide." the male human replied, surprising Applejack,
"Cider." Applejack said,
"Also disinfectant." the male human replied,
"Corn." Applejack said,
"Useless food." the male human replied,
"Beans." Applejack said,
"Ricin." the male human replied,
"What in tarnation?" Applejack asked,
"Plants." Fluttershy said,
"Weapons of war." the male human replied, shocking the mares and Spike,
"Animals." Fluttershy said in a somewhat annoyed tone,
"Also weapons to use on the battlefield." the male human replied, shocking the mares and Spike, they try to come up with more but could not,
"Well, that's everything, you all may leave." Twilight Sparkle said, and the humans leave. Pinkie Pie groans and growls,
"I just don't understand these guys!" Pinkie Pie said,
"Me neither, they are way too battle hardened." Applejack replied,
"Let's just rest, guys." Twilight Sparkle said, and they sleep when night came.
The next day comes and Volvox was standing on the top of his fortress, he saw the clouds come down and Hermes formed,
"Good news, Volvox, your space station has been found, it will be transferred here to protect Sapien even more." Hermes said,
"Alright, thanks." Volvox replied, and Hermes disappeared into the sky, and Volvox senses it appear, the humans receive telepathic information from him as well,
"Hold on, guys, let me check the schedule." Dommiel said, and he goes through the papers,
"Squad B, it's your time to patrol outer space for alien threats." Dommiel said, and half of the humans marching run to the fortress, half of the unit that patrols Sapien at night go with them, along with half of all of the animals who help them fight, space shuttles come out of Volvox's fortress and they go to space.
The world's natives watch with surprise and wonder what was up there, they could not see space,
"Soldiers reported back, Volvox, launch and getting to space station was successful." the Count of Saint Germain said,
"Good, I hope the rations are still fine." Volvox replied, and Volvox soon received telepathic communication from the humans in space, everything was in working order, the space station had satellites all around it that would record whatever was coming, and shoot down any enemies coming, along with having kinetic bombardment, and the space station had beams that could be fired to destroy entire islands on other planets, everybody continued with their day while Princess Celestia tried to find out what was up there in space.
The humans march and go on with their day,
"Excuse me." a female voice said, they look and aim their guns, they see Maud Pie,
"I'd like for you all to apologize to my sister." Maud Pie said,
"Who was she again?" a male human asked,
"That pink pony, you all made her cry by refusing to eat her treats." Maud Pie replied,
"Ma'am, hurting her feelings was completely unintentional." a male officer said,
"I understand, but you all hurt her feelings." Maud Pie replied,
"Well, it'll have to wait, we have drills and exercises to complete first." a female human said,
"Okay, I'll let her know you all will be coming later." Maud Pie replied, and she walked away, they look and see she was gone, Volvox took note of it.
The humans continue marching and begin doing target practice, an airship arrives and the humans aim their guns at it, it comes down and opens, they see a pony walk out,
"Alright, to all of you guys, my name is Tempest Shadow, I was sent here by Princess Twilight." Tempest Shadow said,
"What brings you here?" the Count of Saint Germain asked,
"She was hoping I could try to understand you guys better, since she and her friends don't, she already filled me in on everything and how you guys think." Tempest Shadow replied,
"Are you military, too?" a second male human asked,
"Not exactly, I was a member of an army that conquered lands, but I don't do that anymore." Tempest Shadow replied,
"Is there a problem?" a third male human asked,
"No, I understand you guys better, and to me, you guys are very resourceful and creative, I like that, but since Princess Twilight is all focused on friendship and doesn't understand battlefield stuff very much, I'll be doing the explaining to her." Tempest Shadow replied,
"Is that all?" a female officer asked,
"Kind of, yes, but I also came to see your uniforms, I heard about how strong and resistant they are, I was hoping I could get one to replace the one I have on now." Tempest Shadow replied,
"Well, we still have to test them out, we don't know how unicorn magic works on them." Tom said,
"Prepare yourself, then." Tempest Shadow replied, and she shoots a big burst of energy from her broken horn at them, it damaged Tom's uniform a little, but Tom was unfazed,
"Wow, they're actually pretty strong, I'd like one, please." Tempest Shadow said, and Volvox decided to make one for her, the mask had a hole at the forehead to expose her broken horn, Tempest Shadow was happy, and she boarded the ship and left. The Count of Saint Germain took note of how the uniform held up against Tempest Shadow's magic, and begins making plans to change the uniforms around to not only completely withstand the blast, but also deflect it.
Sunburst was taking notes of the humans in Sapien and was very uncomfortable with how strong the citizens were, he looks and saw Flurry Heart looking away with fear, the appearance of the humans scared her,
"How is she today?" Sunburst asked,
"Still scared, the appearance of the humans has been giving her nightmares." Shining Armor said,
"I really hope they change their uniforms, they look more like criminals than soldiers." Princess Cadence replied, and Sunburst continues using his magic to analyze their uniforms, he was still in disbelief over how physically fit they were, and how durable their outfits were. Sunburst continues analyzing their uniforms based off of what he saw them do, and information from Rainbow Dash earlier, he continues analyzing and was very uncomfortable with the components of their uniforms.
The humans who made Pinkie Pie cry go to Ponyville and find her,
"Pinkie Pie." John Doe said, she looks at them and was still sad,
"We'd like to apologize for making you cry earlier." John Doe said, Pinkie Pie glares,
"You don't sound sincere." Pinkie Pie said,
"We are, we just don't raise our voices unless necessary." John Doe replied, Pinkie Pie became bewildered,
"So, you mean it?" Pinkie Pie asked,
"Yes, in a calm manner." John Doe replied, Pinkie Pie was confused,
"Okay, I'll accept it." Pinkie Pie said,
"Thank you, we'll be going now." John Doe replied, and they leave, they see Maud Pie smiling, and the humans went back to Sapien.
Fluttershy was allowed into Sapien and was taking care of the animals, she loved how the animals were given space to play, and were fed extremely healthy foods and drinks, she was cleaning the animal manure with some of the humans that patrol at night, the interior of the area she was in was black like the outside,
"Come here, little birdies." Fluttershy said, and they did not,
"Um, excuse me." Fluttershy said, the animals did not go to her,
"What are you trying to do?" a female elderly officer asked,
"I was hoping to sing for them." Fluttershy replied,
"They only sing to give out distress signals and rescue signs." the female elderly officer said,
"What do they do for fun?" Fluttershy asked,
"Nothing, they train, eat, drink, and rest." the female elderly officer replied, Fluttershy had an idea,
"Hold on, I'll be back." Fluttershy said, and she came back with books, the animals only listen to her nonfiction stories, and tuned out her fictional stories, Fluttershy did not notice and continued reading her books to them and had fun.
Rainbow Dash flew to Sapien and landed, the humans that were marching aim their guns at her, while Volvox sat on top of his fortress,
"Whoa, guys, I'm just here for a suggestion." Rainbow Dash said,
"What is it?" a male officer asked,
"I was thinking of a game for you guys to play." Rainbow Dash replied,
"Why?" Volvox asked,
"Marching and exercising all the time is boring, us Wonderbolts like to have fun every now and then." Rainbow Dash replied,
"Doing what?" a female human asked,
"You know, yelling, flying around, doing aerial shows." Rainbow Dash replied,
"Aerial shows are a waste of time, energy, and fuel for our aircraft." Volvox said,
"Oh come on, I wanna see one." Rainbow Dash replied,
"They were not designed to be used that way." Volvox said,
"Can I hear at least hear your nation's anthem?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"We don't have an anthem." a male human replied,
"What?! No national anthem?!" Rainbow Dash asked,
"It will give away our base to the enemy, and have us ambushed." a female officer replied, shocking Rainbow Dash,
"We have our reasons, we don't have time to be creating such things." Volvox said,
"Would you if you did have the time?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"No, we wouldn't, we'd be busy focusing on creating better weapons and armor, and coming up with new battle tactics." Volvox replied, surprising Rainbow Dash, she flew up to him,
"Look, Volvox, having a big and strong military is cool and all, but you should let them have fun every now and then." Rainbow Dash said,
"Human's desires to have fun have led to problems throughout their history, that is why I had them evolve to the point where they can't experience fun." Volvox replied,
"What did they do?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"I won't go into detail, believe me, it's bad." Volvox replied,
"Oh, I think I get the idea, some people's idea are fun are actually pretty sick." Rainbow Dash said,
"Exactly." Volvox replied,
"Well, can you at least show off your vehicles, I'm actually pretty interested in what those flying vehicles can do." Rainbow Dash said,
"You can see them when we do maintenance on them, we have to test every vehicle and make sure they work." Volvox replied,
"You mean just flying them, right?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"No, we have to make sure the weapons work, too." Volvox replied,
"Oh, well, don't be using them on us." Rainbow Dash said,
"Only if we go to war." Volvox replied,
"Alright, well, I'll be going now." Rainbow Dash said, and she flew away.
A few hours pass and Fluttershy comes out of the area where the animals stayed, she was crying, Rainbow Dash flew down to her while Pinkie Pie appeared out of thin air,
"What's the matter, Fluttershy?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"I tried reading to those animals my books, but they told me they only listen to nonfiction stories, and they ignore and tune out any fictional stories read to them." Fluttershy replied, she cried a bit more,
"What?! That's no fun!" Pinkie Pie said,
"It is better to be educated than in a land of imagination." a male human replied,
"But nonfiction stories are boring!" Pinkie Pie said,
"Valuable information is more important than having fun." a second male human replied,
"If you do not wish to learn, and to have fun, then maybe delayed gratification will suit you." a female officer said,
"No, I don't want to have fun later, I want to have fun now!" Pinkie Pie replied,
"Then go elsewhere, we do not wish to hurt your feelings again." a third male human said, Pinkie Pie did not argue,
"Come on, you two, let's go." Rainbow Dash said, and she carried Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie and flew back to Equestria. Princess Ember watched and flew to Volvox,
"Can I have a few words with you, Volvox?" Princess Ember asked,
"What is it?" Volvox asked,
"I get that you're trying to protect your country, and don't get me wrong, I support having a big and strong military, I really do, but you're taking it way too far." Princess Ember replied,
"My superiors up in the sky disagree." Volvox said,
"Well, let's ignore them for now, my point is you're scaring the people of my land, your country is even scaring me." Princess Ember replied,
"What are you afraid of?" Volvox asked,
"First of all, the uniforms, your citizens look like scary creatures that haunt kids at night under their beds, also, your weapons, you guys can destroy an entire country in seconds, and lastly, you and your people having no emotions, you guys are almost like machines." Princess Ember replied,
"I need them to be that way, it helps them in combat if they do not feel regret, fear, or sorrow in battle, joy in battle can lead to creating sadists, which I personally dislike, and anger on the battlefield can lead to poor decisions that can get an entire unit killed, that is why I have them emotionless." Volvox said,
"Yeah, I understand that, but we all do friends in this world, we can't be friends if you don't have feelings." Princess Ember replied,
"You mean as in female bonding, males don't bond that way." Volvox said,
"What are you saying?" Princess Ember asked,
"Females bond by feeling the same emotion, males bond by going through the same experiences." Volvox replied,
"Then maybe you should have a female rule alongside with you." Princess Ember said,
"I've thought about it, but I can't have one that acts purely on feelings, as long as they can control their emotions, I'm fine." Volvox replied,
"Well, we already have a good relationship with our countries, maybe we can strengthen it." Princess Ember said,
"Good terms on a business relationship is enough for me and the others native to this nation." Volvox replied,
"Oh, well, I guess that can work too, well, I have to go now, hope we maintain our good relationship." Princess Ember said,
"Yeah, me too, have a good day." Volvox replied, and Princess Ember flew back.
Four hours pass and the babies in the building to the right start crying, the humans that patrol Sapien at night begin taking care of them, even though some were awakened by their crying, they were not angry,
"Hey, guys, bring those babies out here for a minute, I need to take count of how many we have." Volvox said, and they do, there was about thirty babies, but to the shock and horror of the ponies, the babies were wearing the exact same outfit as the humans who patrolled the nation, shocking the world's natives, Pinkie Pie and Rarity let out a scream,
"Emperor Volvox!" Princess Celestia said sternly as she flew to him and up to his three heads,
"I have been hearing receiving information over these past few days on how your citizens behave and think, this is where I draw the line!" Princess Celestia said sternly,
"What's wrong with every citizen being a soldier?" Volvox asked,
"I understand the need to have a military and be protected, but not every citizen has to be one! But being trained since birth is where I draw the line!" Princess Celestia replied sternly, the ponies were scared since Princess Celestia was actually raising her voice,
"It is my job to keep them from going extinct, and to fend off all types of threats, I need every citizen to be a soldier and ready to fight to defend and to die in battle at anytime." Volvox said,
"No! I am not comfortable having such a nation close to my country! I highly disapprove of this type of ruling style!" Princess Celestia replied sternly while holding out and pointing her front right hoof at Volvox,
"Even though we are prepared for combat and are willing to help others?" Volvox asked,
"That is not my point, I disapprove of everybody being a soldier, I would like for you to give them more things to do than marches and training." Princess Celestia replied,
"I do, I have them study and read books." Volvox said,
"What about games?" Princess Celestia asked,
"Board games on war tactics and strategies, and chess to improve their intelligence." Volvox replied, Princess Celestia glares at him,
"I mean as in for fun." Princess Celestia said,
"Nope, we do nothing for fun." Volvox replied,
"Then maybe it's time for a change, I'd like to improve relationships as well." Princess Celestia said,
"Being on good terms with a business relationship is good enough for me." Volvox replied,
"No, I wish to have a genuine friendship, not a business relationship, it will make me feel more comfortable as well." Princess Celestia said, and she flew away, Volvox went on to count how many babies there were.
Hours pass and the sun was setting, Twilight Sparkle looks at Sapien and did not like the nation,
"I don't understand, how are we supposed to be friends with people like them?" Twilight Sparkle asked,
"I know, right, they seem so boring and focused on combat and learning than anything." Rainbow Dash replied,
"Not to mention they don't understand fashion, all they make is armor and design them to work in environments, they are so ugly." Rarity said,
"Don't forget they're even more expressionless than Maud, and their animals only listen to nonfiction stories." Fluttershy said,
"And they rejected all of my yummy treats! Nopony never rejected my treats before!" Pinkie Pie said,
"Well, the dragons are having a good time with them, so far, they're getting along better with them than any other creature." Spike said,
"I actually kind of liked them." Tempest Shadow said,
"Well, maybe because you didn't spend time in Equestria, so maybe they remind you of the Storm King a bit." Starlight Glimmer replied,
"They do, but minus the whole conquering part." Tempest Shadow said,
"I sure am glad the humans in my world aren't like them, there's no way I'd be able to live with someone like them." Sunset Shimmer replied,
"Well, they ain't all bad, see, look." Applejack said while smiling, they look and saw the humans going out into the sea to get injured hippogriffs from a ship crash, they bring them to Sapien and begin checking their wounds and nursing them back to health. The hippogriffs recover quickly due to Sapien's advanced medical development, the hippogriffs thank them and they leave while the humans waved bye to them,
"See, they're actually helpin' any injured creatures near their nation." Applejack said,
"Well, let's get some rest, it's late." Twilight Sparkle replied, and they all head home and get some sleep.
The next day comes and Trixie arrived into Sapien to give the humans a show, Volvox decided to allow it to make Trixie happy,
"Come one, come all, and witness the magic prowess of the Great and Power Trixie." Trixie said as she appeared, Starlight Glimmer was there to help her,
"Now, watch in awe, as the Great and Power Trixie and her partner, Starlight Glimmer, blow your minds with magic." Trixie said, and they perform, but stop for a minute,
"What is with those masks?" Trixie asked,
"It's a part of our uniforms." Tom replied,
"Well, take them off, Trixie wants to see your reactions to her magnificent abilities." Trixie said, and the humans do. Trixie and Starlight Glimmer perform and notice the humans did not clap or cheer, they were just standing and watching stoically, this distracted Trixie a bit, but she continued,
"And now, I have saved the best for last, prepare to have your minds blown!" Trixie said, and she does a spell to make herself disappear, Starlight Glimmer looks for her and could not find her, a spell was cast and Starlight Glimmer's body was replaced with Trixie's, Trixie's head came out of her hat, she walked out with Starlight Glimmer's body, they cast a spell to make their bodies return to normal. Trixie and Starlight Glimmer stood and were ready for claps, cheers, and roses thrown at them, but they see the humans were just standing and watching stoically, so was Volvox, Dommiel, and Giovi,
"How dare you not praise the Great and Powerful Trixie, Trixie has worked hard to create that trick!" Trixie said angrily,
"It is not our nature to clap or cheer at things that are meant to entertain others." a male human said,
"Not clap or cheer?! The Great and Powerful Trixie demands your praise!" Trixie said angrily,
"It's just how some people from our world are, they don't clap or cheer sometimes, they just watch." a female human replied,
"You dare disrespect Trixie, after all of that hard work she has put into making this show, you all refused to praise her?!" Trixie asked,
"That doesn't mean we dislike it." a male officer replied,
"Still, Trixie demands your praise, Trixie worked hard to make this magic show possible!" Trixie said,
"You're not using your magic right, then." Volvox replied,
"What do you mean Trixie is not using her magic right?!" Trixie asked angrily,
"Magic is a weapon, not a toy." the Count of Saint Germain replied, the ponies look at Sapien with shock, offended by what they just said,
"No, it's not! Magic is more than just a weapon! Magic is used to get chores done, play with others, and used to have fun!" Starlight Glimmer said angrily,
"Trust us, you should be glad you weren't in another nation from our world and they grow to dislike your performance." a female cyborg officer said,
"Why?" Trixie asked,
"Because they'll boo you off stage, throw objects at you, mainly rocks, and spew out profanity at you, and in some worst case scenarios, they'll fire guns at you." Dommiel replied, shocking Trixie,
"You should head home, we have training to complete." Tom said, and Trixie was angry, she packed her things up and teleported back to Equestria, she walks away while grumbling and growling.
The humans put their masks and balaclavas back on and continue training, Princess Celestia was not happy with them viewing magic as a weapon, she watches the humans train while looking at Volvox disapprovingly, she saw Princess Luna disapproved of his ruling style as well, but they did not declare war on Sapien since they were not causing any trouble or doing bad things. Static noises were heard and everycreature looked at Sapien,
"Emperor Volvox, there's a meteorite headed right into our country from a five o'clock position." a male human in the space station said, Volvox goes up to the roof of his fortress and looks,
"I see it, get ready to use your telekinesis, everyone." Volvox said, and the humans do, Volvox, the Count of Saint Germain, Giovi, and Tom used their telekinesis as well, they hold their right hands up while Volvox holds his right front leg up and get the meteor, they bring it down and it surprises the humans, they put it in the water to cool it down and then bring it into their own nation. The world's natives watch the humans as they examine the meteor, they use geokinesis to open it up while aiming their guns at it, they see it was empty,
"Alright, let's break it apart and see what we can use it for." Dommiel said, and they take the meteor into one of their buildings, they work on the meteor, they begin trying to carve it into weapon handles, along with breaking it into small pieces that could be launched like catapults with telekinesis, the humans do target practice with telekinesis and throw the rocks, they hit the targets almost in the center with every piece, the world's natives were shocked to see how they used the rocks, Princess Celestia, Queen Novo, King Thorax, and Rain Shine were especially not happy.
The humans get on with their days and Discord appeared in front of Sapien, he was floating in the sky as well, the humans stop marching and aim their guns at him,
"Ugh, you are so orderly, it is so boring to watch." Discord said,
"What are you saying, reality warper?" Volvox asked,
"Let's make things more interesting, let's see you all in action in a war." Discord replied, and he makes the solid objects in the nation act on their own and attack the humans. The humans use telekineis and geokinesis to put the objects down,
"Oh, that was boring, let's make an all-out war happen." Discord said, and he makes an island appear in front of Sapien, they see primitive humans coming to their land with spears and boats. Sapien's ships fire at them and destroy the boats entirely, they fire at the humans in the water, the primitive humans fire arrows at Sapien, Giovi uses his telekinesis and brings them to Sapien. The primitive humans scream and the world's natives saw the ghosts of the dead humans from Sapien attack them from behind, shocking them, the humans use hydrokinesis to make a tsunami hit their land to destroy their home, they then use aerokinesis to make tornadoes form on their land, and pyrokinesis to burn their homes, some humans also separated their shadows from their bodies and they went to attack the primitive humans from the shadows and shades on the islands, they go back a few seconds later. Volvox uses his telekinesis to take whatever resources they had and bring it into Sapien,
"Okay, now." Volvox said, and a laser gun from the space station was shot, the red laser goes down onto the island, it explodes and the debris and smoke cleared. The world's natives look on with pure horror when they saw the entire island was obliterated, there was not a single trace of it,
"No way!" Rainbow Dash said with horror, the humans continue on with their days as if nothing happened. Spike burps and a letter comes out, he reads it,
"It's from Princess Celestia, she wants all of us at Canterlot, including Starlight Glimmer, Sunset Shimmer, and Tempest Shadow." Spike said, surprising them all,
"Let's go." Twilight Sparkle said, and they go.
Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack, Spike, Starlight Glimmer, Sunset Shimmer, and Tempest Shadow arrive at Canterlot and were in the throne room, Princess Luna, Princess Cadence, Shining Armor, Flurry Heart, Sunburst, Star Swirl the Bearded, Rockhoof, Flash Magnus, Somnambula, Mage Meadowbrook, Mistmane, and Stygian were there, which surprised them,
"I called you all here to discuss what to do if we go to war against that nation, we all just saw their capabilities." Princess Celestia said,
"What? But how? They have weapons that can destroy an entire country." Rainbow Dash replied,
"Yeah, there's no way we'd win against them." Applejack said,
"That is why you all were called here, we have a formidable opponent if we do become their enemies, we need to come up with ways to stand against them." Shining Armor replied,
"Well, there's no use asking the other creatures to help, we are the most powerful country in this world, if we can't win, then the others surely can't." Stygian said,
"Plus, they have magic of their own, along with souls of the dead, and as you all saw, those souls and their own shadows can appear anywhere at anytime." Princess Luna said, scaring the others,
"If we're lucky, our magic might work against them." Princess Cadence said,
"No, I tried, magic is almost useless against their uniforms." Tempest Shadow replied,
"What?! Magic doesn't work on them?!" Rarity asked,
"Not really, it only damages their uniforms a bit." Tempest Shadow replied,
"Well, I don't see a point in this, we're not at war with them." Fluttershy said,
"This is if we do get to war, lass, we have to make preparations." Rockhoof replied,
"But this is so boring." Pinkie Pie said,
"I know, Pinkie, but it has to be done." Twilight Sparkle replied,
"I am rallying the military and training them right now, Spitfire and Shining Armor and helping with that as well." Flash Magnus said,
"I am busy trying to create potions that could help, I don't know if they'll work, though." Mage Meadowbrook said,
"Wait, that's it, we haven't seen the humans create potions." Twilight Sparkle said,
"You sure about that? I'm sure they know several." Mistmane replied,
"I think we should wait a bit, so far, there's been nothing bad between us, they're just minding their own business." Somnambula said,
"Well, yes, but they don't seek genuine friendship, they prefer to have business relationships." Princess Celestia replied,
"Business relationships? I wonder why they want that for." Sunset Shimmer said,
"Well, so maybe if we do go to war, it'll feel less personal like a betrayal." Starlight Glimmer replied,
"Well, that is one way of looking at it, but I doubt that's the reason." Princess Celestia said,
"We should contact them here again, see what they know about potions." Star Swirl the Bearded said, the others agreed. Noises were heard at Sapien and they go to the balcony,
"What are they doing this time?" Flash Magnus asked, they look and see Tom was instructing the children how to fight in combat, they were shocked by what they watched, Tom was teaching the kids to aim for the weak spots on an opponent, especially the eyes and groin areas, and the locations of major arteries in humans and to cut them with blades, Tom also taught the children that when an opponent was down or paralyzed, that was their chance to finish the fight off for good, and to have no mercy on anyone because of race, gender, age, or social class. The Mane Six, princesses, Pillars of Equestria, Sunburst, Shining Armor, Starlight Glimmer, Sunset Shimmer, Tempest Shadow, and Spike watch with shock,
"What? That's against code of honor!" Spike said,
"Excuse me a minute." Flash Magnus said, and he flew to them,
"Hey!" Flash Magnus said, Tom and the children look at him,
"What are you doing?!" Flash Magnus asked,
"Teaching the kids how to defend themselves." Tom asked,
"Who are you?" a male toddler asked,
"I am Flash Magnus, drill sergeant of Equestria's royal guards." Flash Magnus replied,
"What brings you here?" Tom asked,
"Your ways of teaching combat are dishonorable." Flash Magnus replied,
"There is no such thing as honor." a female toddler said,
"You guys don't believe in honor?" Flash Magnus asked,
"Win by any means necessary." a second male toddler replied, shocking Flash Magnus and the others watching from Canterlot's balcony,
"I have to get back to teaching, you should leave." Tom said, and Flash Magnus flew back to Canterlot,
"They don't believe in honor, they will win by any means necessary in combat." Flash Magnus said,
"We heard, I still can't believe they would teach things like that." Princess Celestia replied,
"One of the first rules of combat is never attack your opponent from the front unless you have no choice, always attack your opponent from behind or their blind spots." Tom said as he instructed the children, the ponies and Spike exclaim while Pinkie Pie screamed, they look at Sapien and saw the children being trained in combat, they were doing punches, kicks, blocks, parries, throws, and using their opponent's momentum against them, the children training and the adults training them were all calm and observant, they look and see Volvox, Dommiel, Giovi, and the Count of Saint Germain were also teaching the kids how to fight, Volvox shrunk himself and made himself bipedal,
"Okay, everybody, here's another move, when someone aims a gun at you, grab the area behind their wrist like this." Tom said, and he grabs a corpse dressed in their uniform's right forearm with his left hand,
"And squeeze like this." Tom said, and he does, he broke the corpse's arm, scaring the world's natives,
"Alright, all of you try." Tom said, and Volvox got out more corpses dressed in uniform for the children to practice with. Twilight Sparkle and the others were becoming scared of the humans,
"Call them tomorrow, I want to see how good they are with alchemy." Mage Meadowbrook said, and they all go home for the day and sleep.
Morning comes and the humans were called back to Equestria by Twilight Sparkle, Tom and the Count of Saint Germain decided to go first to see if it was anything dangerous, they go to Twilight Sparkle,
"Hello, Tom, Saint Germain, we actually want to see what you guys know in alchemy and creating potions." Twilight Sparkle said,
"What kind of potions?" the Count of Saint Germain asked,
"Any potion, actually, come on, Zecora and Mage Meadowbrook are over there, waiting for you two." Twilight Sparkle replied, and they go to them,
"Greetings, I am Zecora, even though I am not from here, I do live near." Zecora said,
"And I'm Mage Meadowbrook, first, let's hear what you two know about alchemy." Mage Meadowbrook said,
"Alchemy is the predecessor of chemistry." Tom replied, Mage Meadowbrook was a little speechless,
"Okay, but what do you guys know about alchemy as in doing it?" Mage Meadowbrook asked,
"Alchemy is mixing ingredients in hopes of creating gold or finding the elixir of life." the Count of Saint Germain replied,
"While the transmutation is true, indeed, the creation of gold is something we do not need." Zecora said,
"Well, go on and show us what you guys know." Mage Meadowbrook said, and the Count of Saint Germain and Tom look, they take the copper, lead, nickel, zinc, silver, gold, and platinum, the two look around,
"Um, where's the alkahest?" the Count of Saint Germain asked,
"The what?" Mage Meadowbrook asked,
"We also need mercury." Tom said, confusing everypony,
"Uh, for what?" Mage Meadowbrook asked,
"To create the Elixir of Life." the Count of Saint Germain replied,
"This mention of an Elixir of Life, sounds like a lie created to cause strife." Zecora said, and the two try and were unable to create potions,
"Sorry, but we don't have the right ingredients." Tom said,
"It's alright, I'm glad you two tried, you two are free to go." Mage Meadowbrook said, and the two fly back to Sapien while the ponies noticed they did know alchemy, but did not know how their alchemy works.
Sandbar, Gallus, Ocellus, Yona, Smolder, Silverstream, Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle decided to go to Sapien and brought board games with them,
"We've brought board games." Silverstream said in a singsong voice, the humans look,
"Y'all wanna play?" Apple Bloom asked,
"Hold on a minute." Volvox said, and he looks down at the board games,
"We do play chess sometimes." Volvox said,
"Ooh, I know how to play." Sweetie Belle said,
"Go on, then." Dommiel replied, and John Doe decided to go play with her. Sweetie Belle plays with John Doe and the game went on for a long time, Sweetie Belle won after sometime,
"I win!" Sweetie Belle said happily,
"Well done." John Doe said calmly and stoically, the Cutie Mark Crusaders and Young Six look at him with surprise, they could not believe he was unfazed about losing,
"Ain't ya mad ya lost?" Apple Bloom asked,
"No." John Doe replied,
"How are you not mad about it?" Scootaloo asked,
"It's just a game, sometimes you win, sometimes you don't." John Doe replied, the Cutie Mark Crusaders and Young Six saw his point,
"Still, I don't understand how you're okay with losing." Smolder said,
"Are you?" John Doe asked,
"No, of course not, I hate losing, it makes me mad." Smolder replied,
"Then perhaps you can use some lessons in patience." John Doe said,
"Tell that to Rainbow Dash." Sandbar replied,
"Hey! I heard that!" Rainbow Dash said from the sky,
"Can I play another game with you?" Sweetie Belle asked,
"Your choice." John Doe replied,
"Okay, let's go another round." Sweetie Belle said, and they play again, John Doe won,
"Wow, good job." Sweetie Belle said,
"Thanks." John Doe replied,
"Aren't you proud you won?" Scootaloo asked,
"I don't take pride in such things, none of us do." John Doe replied,
"Wow, it goes both ways." Gallus said,
"Well, I do see his point, one who boats and brags about winning would be kind of annoying." Ocellus replied,
"You all should play as well, it'll stimulate your brain activities, and increase intelligence." Volvox said, and they all play board games.
Princess Celestia watches Volvox and sees him receiving obsidian from the Dragon Lands, she saw he and Dragon Lord Torch actually got along pretty well, but she saw Volvox was calm and emotionless just like his citizens, which made her a bit uncomfortable. Volvox also received straw from Yakyakistan, they made more targets with them to do target practice, Volvox gave his country's weapons and armor to the Dragon Lands and the coats to Yakyakistan, she saw Princess Ember and Prince Rutherford had a pretty decent relationship with him. Princess Celestia watches and saw the Cutie Mark Crusaders and Young Six playing board games with the humans, while they were happy when they won, and some were angry when they lost, the humans remained calm and emotionless, which made her a bit uncomfortable, she looks back and saw Scootaloo, Sandbar, Ocellus, Yona, and Silverstream were very uncomfortable with the emotionless humans, but her attention switches when she heard Volvox conversing with Queen Novo,
"My daughter is still upset with your people, she did not like what you all did with her necklaces." Queen Novo said,
"Well, they seemed more useful as weapons than necklaces." Volvox replied,
"Are you the one who decides how things should be used?" Queen Novo asked,
"Sometimes, but not always, I didn't choose how your daughter's necklaces should be used." Volvox replied,
"Then who did?" Queen Novo asked,
"My people all chose on their own." Volvox replied, Queen Novo looks down at the humans, she looks back at Volvox,
"I appreciate that you are willing to help those wounded near your country, but we are still uncomfortable, our land got conquered by a being known as the Storm King long ago." Queen Novo said,
"Do not worry, we will not attack unless you attack us first." Volvox replied,
"My people are still uncomfortable, the uniforms of your people are giving our children nightmares." Queen Novo said,
"Sorry about that, but my people need to be armed and ready at all times, threats can attack us at anytime." Volvox replied,
"Can you at least give them some time to relax a bit?" Queen Novo asked,
"Sorry, but usually when that happens, that's when enemies to my nation attacks me and my people." Volvox replied,
"Well, they're not here now, are they?" Queen Novo asked,
"Actually, some of them can travel between worlds." Volvox replied, surprising Queen Novo,
"What kind of creatures are those?" Queen Novo asked,
"The souls of the dead." Volvox replied, surprising Queen Novo,
"You all should head home, it's about to get dark." a female human said from below, Queen Novo looks and saw her niece and her friends playing board games with the humans,
"Aw, can we stay a little longer, please?" Silverstream asked,
"You should head home, it's dangerous at night, that is when our nation is attacked the most often." a male human replied,
"Come on, Silverstream, let's go." Queen Novo said, and they all leave, Princess Celestia lowered the sun and went back into her castle.
Night comes and it was three o'clock, Volvox and his people were on high alert since it was the witching hour, Volvox senses something appearing to the south, in front of him and the humans marching forward,
"Everybody, six o'clock position, above, aim your weapons." Volvox said, and they did, a rift appears and roaring was heard, many different type of creatures come out and they were coming to Sapien to attack them. The humans fire their Stoner 63s but the bullets go through them, the gunshots awoke everycreature, they stop afterwards when they see the invaders were ghosts, so the humans meditate to exit their body forms and fight them while the ghosts of the humans who died serving Volvox and the nation appeared to help. The spirits of the humans fight off the invaders while Volvox, Dommiel, the Count of Saint German, Giovi, and Tom entered their spirit forms as well. The world's natives watch the invaders and saw several humanoid ghosts change to humanoid bats, and some changed to werewolves, the others were shaped like creatures they have never seen before, the spirits do hand-to-hand combat and the humans gather around to overpower them and snap their necks, which caused the spirits to change into floating flames in the sky.
Volvox gathers them around and the Mane Six go to Sapien from its west,
"Wait!" Twilight Sparkle said, they look at her,
"Who are these guys?" Twilight Sparkle asked,
"Beings from our world, they used to hunt us down and kill us for sport until Volvox had us evolve into what we are now." a male human replied, surprising the world's natives,
"They seem different from you all." Rarity said,
"They are different." a female officer replied,
"What are they?" Fluttershy asked, Volvox uses telekinesis to hold one floating flame and it changes to a humanoid bat,
"This is a vampire, they look like humans, but can change into bat and rat forms, they are vulnerable to the sun." Volvox said, Princess Celestia took note of it. Volvox gets the next floating flame and it changes to a humanoid wolf,
"This is a werewolf, they look like humans, too, but they change to this form at night when there is a full moon, they have an insatiable appetite for meat, they are allergic to silver." Volvox said, Fluttershy was scared of them while Princess Luna made sure to be careful if more of them appeared. Volvox gets the next floating flame and it changes to a humanoid with pointed ears,
"This is an elf, they are skilled in archery, along with magic, they are usually in the woods, they used to place curses on humans, they are the reason why I had the humans learn magic." Volvox said, surprising the world's natives. Volvox then got the next flame and it changed to a humanoid with bug-like wings,
"This is a fairy, they play pranks and place curses as well, also common in the woods." Volvox said, Fluttershy thought they were pretty. Volvox gets the next floating flame and it changed to a bipedal and bald creature with pointed ears and its two bottom canine teeth protruding from its mouth, it scared some of the world's natives,
"This is an orc, they are very strong physically and lust for battle, they started targeting the humans when they began to evolve to get stronger, this is why I have humans go through heavy physical training." Volvox said, the dragons were interested in fighting the orcs. Volvox gets the next flame and it changes to a humanoid creature that was short and muscular and had a long beard,
"This is a dwarf, common in mountains and underground, they are powerful craftsmen and miners, they also enjoy battle." Volvox said, the changelings were uncomfortable about hearing what he said. Volvox gets the next flame and it changes to a furred bipedal creature with claws and three eyes, it had four fingers and a thumb on each hand, and five toes on each foot, it's fingernails and toenails were replaced with claws, the world's natives were uncomfortable by its appearance,
"This is a troll, physically strong and common in snowy mountains, they hunt humans to eat them." Volvox said, the yaks were nervous about having trolls nearby. Volvox gets the next flame and it changes to a humanoid creature that had two small holes for its nose, pointed ears, and its fingers, thumbs, and toes were claws,
"This is a ghoul, they are found around graveyards, they are necromancers and have dark magic, they also eat humans as food." Volvox said, Princess Luna was uncomfortable with monsters in graveyards. Volvox gets one last flame and it changes to a creature with a long nose, short structure, pointed ears, two fingers and a thumb on each hand, three toes on each foot, and each finger, thumb, and toe being a claw,
"And the last type, a goblin, these creatures are thieves and also eat humans, they have dark magic as well." Volvox said, the ponies and Student Six look at it strangely,
"What?" Volvox asked,
"Believe it or not, Volvox, but we have creatures that look similar to this one." Applejack replied,
"Yes, we have pukwudgies." Fluttershy said,
"Ah, that's another type of goblin." Volvox replied,
"You have them, too?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"No, but several others back at home wrote about them in fictional stories." Volvox replied,
"Oh, so you guys do know about them." Twilight Sparkle said,
"Yes, go on home now, we have to clean up any messes the battle caused." Dommiel replied, and six ponies head home, the natives of Sapien see they had a few casualties, the dead humans reappear as ghosts in Sapien and they patrol the nation with the others.
The next morning comes and Sapien was done cleaning, they look and see the humans taking the weapons and armor of the dead humans, they were put in human sized pots and were cooked by others with their fire magic, the take the cooked humans out and they were cut into pieces with their bones and organs preserved, the carnivorous animals come out and they were given the meat of the dead humans to eat. The world's natives screamed with horror and Princess Celestia and Princess Luna flew to Volvox,
"What are you doing?!" Princess Luna asked,
"Feeding the animals that defend my nation." Volvox replied,
"You don't give funerals to the deceased?" Princess Celestia asked,
"There are better uses of corpses than burying them." Volvox replied,
"What about those bones and organs there, what are going to do with them?" Princess Celestia asked,
"Bones can be used to make weapons, while the organs are being preserved for donation." Volvox replied,
"Donation?" Princess Luna asked,
"Yes, sometimes, when someone is dying, donating an organ into their body can save their lives." Volvox replied, much to Princess Celestia's and Princess Luna's surprise,
"Is it any organ?" Princess Celestia asked,
"No, blood type, and one's gender has to be checked as well, there's also a chance of the body rejecting the organ, the steps are very careful and specific." Volvox replied,
"What about those with robotic implants, what happens to them when they're deceased?" Princess Luna asked,
"Robotic parts are removed and sterilized, they can be reusable, they're still cooked and given to the animals to be eaten." Volvox replied, shocking Princess Celestia and Princess Luna,
"How are you okay with this?!" Princess Luna asked,
"Because it has health benefits for the animals." Volvox replied,
"It still looks unsettling, I do not approve of this at all." Princess Celestia said,
"What would you do if you had to stop feeding your animals your people?" Princess Luna asked,
"Simple, burn them." Volvox replied,
"What?! Why?" Princess Luna asked,
"Dead bodies carry diseases, burning them gets rid of them." Volvox replied,
"Don't you at least pay your respects to those who died serving you?" Princess Celestia asked,
"They're still around as ghosts." Volvox replied,
"Doesn't a funeral even come to your mind?" Princess Celestia asked,
"A funeral would be a waste of time and resources." Volvox replied,
"What do you mean a waste of resources?" Princess Celestia asked,
"The materials used to make coffins can be used to make more useful items." Volvox replied,
"Such as?" Princess Celestia asked,
"The wood and metal on coffins can be used to make weapons." Volvox replied, shocking Princess Celestia and Princess Luna,
"Is that all you think about?" Princess Luna asked,
"No, they can also be used to build shelter." Volvox replied,
"What are the buildings here made out of?" Princess Celestia asked,
"Lonsdaleite." Volvox replied,
"Your fortresses don't look stable." Princess Luna said,
"They are, they are flexible to withstand earthquakes." Volvox replied,
"Well, I suggest you find other ways besides these, there are many other things you can do besides what you do already." Princess Celestia said, and she and Princess Luna flew away,
"Okay, everybody, today, we do the underwater drills, let's get started." Volvox said, and they do.
The humans dive underwater while tied with cables, they tried to break free and swim around, they were being tackled by Volvox, Dommiel, the Count of Saint Germain, Giovi, and Tom as well, the hippogriffs see them and General Seaspray leads the hippgriff navy to get them out of the water, and they do,
"Wait, wait, wait, wait." John Q. Public said,
"What is it?" General Seaspray asked,
"It's all a part of our training, we're supposed to be tied and underwater." Jane Doe replied,
"Oh." the hippogriffs said,
"Yeah, sorry about the misunderstanding." Jane Doe said,
"It's alright, we apologize for interfering." General Seaspray replied, and they continue their training. The seaponies watch the training and were unsettled by their training regime to get out of the water and back to surface, but every human managed to pass,
"Alright, last test, escaping cement shoes." Dommiel said, and the humans were dipped mid-calf deep into buckets of cement, Volvox uses his magic to harden them faster, every human was then put underwater and sank to the bottom. The seaponies watch with worry since the humans could not escape, the humans use telekinesis to break the cement and swim back up to the surface, much to the surprise of the seaponies and hippogriffs, the humans finish and the they go on with their marches until the night came, the squad that patrols Sapien at night does the same underwater training and they all patrolled Sapien at night when they finished.
The next day comes and the humans were testing their vehicles and making sure they worked, one airplane malfunctions a bit, it was flown down and the humans begin working on it, they try again and it still malfunctions,
"Still not working." the male human piloting it said,
"Alright, bring it down." Volvox said, and they work on it again, the world's natives were surprised by how calm they were when fixing it, it was working,
"All systems working for now." the male human in the plane said,
"Okay, go on and test the weapons." Volvox replied, and the plane shot machine gun bullets, missiles, and dropped firebombs on targets, the world's natives watch with horror at seeing the weapons their planes had, the humans test the rest of their planes and they all worked, they test their helicopters next and they had machine guns and missile launchers as well,
"Alright, now to test the watercraft." Dommiel said, and they do, they test their ships first and have planes land on some of them, the ships fire their anti aircraft guns, main guns, cannons, and railguns while Volvox used old and outdated planes and ships as targets, he controlled them with his telekinesis, the gunboats had machine guns on them and the humans fire them for target practice, their weapons scared the hippogriffs and seaponies, explosions were soon heard under the water and it startled everycreature, Princess Celestia uses her magic to see what caused it, the ponies gasp while Princess Celestia exclaimed with shock when they saw the submarines. The humans go on to do target practice with their tanks and armored personnel carriers, the tanks had cannons and machine guns while the armored personnel carriers had machine gun turrets on top of them, Princess Celestia took note of what each vehicle could do. The world's natives saw the water around Sapien move around strangely, they saw assault amphibious vehicles come out of the water, which shocked the ponies and hippogriffs, the assault amphibious vehicles fire their machine guns at seeing how far they can shoot, they hit their targets,
"Those look awesome!" Rainbow Dash said, Twilight Sparkle looks at her with disapproval, the humans finish and Volvox was ready,
"Okay, let's see if the weapons on our fortresses still work." Volvox said, and he uses technopathy to control them, the machine guns fired first, they destroyed the target easily with their armor piercing hollow rounds, the cannons fired next, the cannon balls destroyed the old and no longer usable ships in the sea, Volvox uses his telekinesis to hold up old and worn out planes, he shot the missile launchers at them and destroyed them, he gets more aircraft and tests the lasers, the red lasers burned and destroyed the vehicles within seconds, scaring the world's natives,
"Alright, guys in space, test out the weapons." the Count of Saint Germain said, and red lasers came out of the sky to destroy the targets in the water first, kinetic bombardment was used next, the bomb hit a ship and blew it up, the last weapon was a big red laser that fired down at a ship and destroyed it, the world's natives realized it was the same one that destroyed the island Discord made,
"Okay, everything's working, good." Volvox said, and they all continue testing more weapons. The bottom of Sapien opens and naval mines were released into the water,
"What are those?" Silverstream asked, Volvox counted how many there were,
"Alright, put them back in, now to count how many landmines and floating mines we have." Volvox said, and he does, he makes the floating mines come out with his telekinesis and activates them, they were invisible, but were heard because they emitted a sound that sounded like a radar beeping, Volvox counted them and put them back,
"Alright, next, biological weapons." Volvox said, and he got armored corpses to stand in place, with their balaclavas removed, but masks on, the humans inject them with syringes, the liquid in the syringe go into the corpses and it breaks their bodies down until they were complete skeletons, much to the ponies' horrors, Twilight Sparkle looks and saw the syringes were labelled with the name of diseases from Earth,
"Okay, let's see how our chemical weapons are doing." Volvox said, and they begin. The humans throw bottles of mustard gas and the humans begin coughing through their masks, the world's natives were able to tell the gas was powerful since the coughs were violent, the humans also used mixed bleach and drain cleaner together to make an unseen odor, the world's natives watch with horror at the sight of the chemical weapons,
"Alright, next on the list, testing the Agent Orange." the Count of Saint Germain said, and he uses geokinesis to make crops appear. A helicopter flies by and spreads it, the crops were destroyed, much to Applejack's horror,
"Okay, now last, but least, count our nuclear weapons." Volvox said,
"Volvox, we forgot to test our artillery." Tom replied,
"Right, let's get that over and done with, then." Volvox said, and they do, they had big guns operated by humans, they all shot out heavy bullets and shells that destroyed the targets Volvox held in the air with his telekinesis, the world's natives were scared by it,
"Okay, now to count our nuclear weapons." Volvox said, and he got them out with his telekinesis, he counts the amount of nuclear bombs, atomic bombs, and hydrogen bombs they had, Princess Celestia was very nervous about how powerful they were since Volvox was very careful,
"Okay, I'm done, today's target practice day, so get shooting, everyone, and remember, use the rubber bullets." Volvox said, and the humans start. The humans begin shooting at their human shaped targets with their Stoner 63s, IMI Desert Eagles, and S&W M500s, the gunshots were loud and scared them, Flurry Heart was crying since all of the noise they made woke her up, but the others did not hear her. The humans continue firing and were hitting the human targets in their heads and where their hearts would be, they also hit the right side of the chest in case to practice hitting the heart if the enemy had dextrocardia. The humans took out new targets shortly afterwards,
"Hey! Are those us?!" Silverstream asked with shock, the world's natives see the humans have made targets shaped like ponies, dragons, griffons, yaks, griffons, hippogriffs, and kirins, they fire their guns and aim for their heads and hearts, scaring the world's natives, the humans were done shooting and begun doing target practice with bows and arrows and crossbows, they finished after sometime while Princess Cadence heard Flurry Heart crying and went to go comfort her,
"Okay, now to practice throwing." Dommiel said, and the humans do. The humans throw their spear pointed knives first, they cut through the targets easily since the blades were made out of obsidian, they throw with both hands and hit their targets in their heads and hearts, the humans also threw hatchets, shovels, and small swords, the humans finished and began throwing bombs that exploded on impact when they hit the ground, they hit their targets with pinpoint accuracy, scaring the world's natives, the humans began throwing other weapons at their targets, they threw bolas, chakrams, kpingas, throwing darts, shurikens, and throwing sticks, which left some of the world's natives paralyzed with fear,
"Alright, now close range combat, begin." Volvox said, and the humans begin using battleaxes, swords, daggers, knives, kukris, claws, spears, glaives, pole weapons, bayonets, hook swords, war hammers, maces, flails, whips, clubs, crowbars, staffs, dolabras, batons, kubatons, and canes, the swords they used were ulfberhts, the humans also used shields as weapons as well. The world's natives watch with fear at the humans train, some of their weapons looked painful,
"What do y'all think?" Applejack asked,
"Going to war against them is the last thing I'd do." Tempest Shadow replied, they all hear Fluttershy quivering in fear,
"Hey, what is that griffon doing?" Starlight Glimmer asked, and they see a male griffon flying to them to cause trouble. The griffon interrupts the humans by knocking them down and picking them up, the griffon laughs at the chaos it was causing. Tom gets a sling and puts a rock in it, he holds it in his right hand and spins it around in a clockwise direction while holding it over his head, he swings it a bit before releasing his grip on one end of the sling. The sling opens and the rock flies out, it hits the griffon in the head and he screams as he fell, the world's natives gasp when they heard a crunching sound, Princess Celestia exclaimed with shock at seeing what Tom just did.
The griffon falls and groans in pain,
"What should we do with him, Volvox?" a male teenage human asked, Volvox looks around and saw Grampa Gruff was ready to lead Griffonstone to war against his nation, which by extension meant going to war with the other countries,
"Send him back, we'll be at war if we don't." Volvox said, and the humans pick up the griffon and send him back to Griffonstone. Princess Celestia becomes offended and flies to Sapien,
"Emperor Volvox!" Princess Celestia said sternly, she flies to in front of his center head and flapped her wings to stay in the air,
"You didn't let him go out of genuine goodness?!" Princess Celestia asked,
"No." Volvox replied,
"You didn't forgive him and offer him your friendship?!" Princess Celestia asked,
"No, it was to prevent unnecessary fighting." Volvox replied,
"How are you okay with that?!" Princess Celestia asked,
"Because it was the smart thing to do." Volvox replied,
"Well, yes, but it wasn't the right thing!" Princess Celestia said,
"I'm just doing actions that will have good consequences in the future, whether it's morally right or morally wrong is not my concern." Volvox replied, the ponies gasp,
"No! I do not approve of this at all! If you are going to act purely on facts and logic while ignoring feelings and morals, then you are not fit to rule!" Princess Celestia said while raising her voice a bit,
"Even though my ruling style has made the most powerful and intelligent nation from my home world?" Volvox asked, Princess Celestia glares at him,
"It doesn't matter how powerful or intelligent your people are if you are a cold hearted and emotionless ruler." Princess Celestia replied,
"I'm not cold hearted, I have my people protect other nations from threats as well." Volvox said,
"I still do not appreciate it, and so far, your people have done nothing but train, I'd like to see some festivities or entertainment sometimes as well." Princess Celestia replied,
"What do the other rulers say?" Volvox asked, he looks around and saw King Thorax shook his head, Dragon Lord Torch and Princess Ember also had disagreeing faces, so did Grampa Gruff, Prince Rutherford, Queen Novo, and Rain Shine,
"Wow, this world really is different from our home world." Volvox said,
"Well, try to adjust, I wish to see some new things here." Princess Celestia replied while calming down, she flew back to Canterlot shortly afterwards,
"What's going to happen next, Saint Germain?" Volvox asked,
"A pony is going to come here to ask for to receive counseling in a few hours, it's so she can better understand your way of thinking." the Count of Saint Germain replied, and Volvox prepared himself while he watched the humans. Three hours pass and the humans continue training while Giovi watched and instructed them with gestures,
"Excuse me, Emperor Volvox." Starlight Glimmer said as she walked to his fortress, he looks down at her,
"I'd like for you to come to my office in the School of Friendship, I have things to ask." Starlight Glimmer said,
"Alright." Volvox replied, and he shrunk himself to her size and headed to the School of Friendship with her.
Volvox sat across from Starlight Glimmer while in her office at the School of Friendship,
"Okay, Emperor Volvox, we have had several experiences with your people, and most have ended in disasters, since your people are emotionless, and you're the one who made them that way, I'd like to know why so I can get a better understanding on your way of thinking." Starlight Glimmer said,
"Because throughout history, before I made humans emotionless, their emotions have lead to many poor decisions being made." Volvox replied,
"How so?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"You name it, revenge, addiction, possessiveness of people and objects, obsessiveness of their own interests, desire to prove one better than the other at anything, desire to control everyone and everything, overestimating oneself and underestimating others leading to embarrassment, which causes them to do something irrational, I can go on all day." Volvox replied,
"Yes, I understand, but let's break it down a bit and try one emotion at a time, let's start with joy." Starlight Glimmer said,
"That's actually one of the worst ones from what I've seen." Volvox replied,
"What? How come?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"Because I have seen many humans experiencing joy from inflicting pain on others and animals, along with embarrassing others, and becoming happy when that person does something to humiliate themselves even farther, that's why I got rid of that emotion." Volvox replied,
"What kind of pain did these humans inflict?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"Physical pain, that's why some of them created torture devices, to make one's death as slow and as painful as possible, the slower and more painful it is, the more joy one experiences." Volvox replied, much to Starlight Glimmer's horror,
"Uh, um, let's try a different emotion, let's try sadness." Starlight Glimmer said,
"Sadness wasn't that bad, it has led to people wasting time, though." Volvox replied,
"What do you mean?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"I have had humans grieve in the wrong places, at the wrong time, and it led to them losing their lives as well, sadness can also be dangerous." Volvox replied,
"How so?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"Two situations, first one is being embarrassed, they feel sadness next, and then anger, which leads to poor decisions, the second one is taking one's own life when filled with extreme sadness." Volvox replied,
"Sadness isn't all bad, Emperor Volvox, it leads to triggering one's empathy and desire to help as well." Starlight Glimmer said,
"Yes, I'm aware of that, but that has backfired several times as well." Volvox replied,
"How?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"People end up helping the wrong person, which leads to bad consequences, and other times, the person being sad is faking it, which could lead to many different things, from manipulation to death of the empathetic individual." Volvox replied, Starlight Glimmer was surprised,
"Let's talk about anticipation, what about that one?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"That has caused trouble too, when things don't go as planned, the individual may experience sadness and anger, and when something doesn't go right, along with not adopting to sudden changes, which has led to problems on its own as well." Volvox replied,
"Alright, what about acceptance?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"Accepting one's unfortunate situation when they can make it better has led to humans being too passive, so I had to get rid of that emotion, too." Volvox replied,
"But what about accepting a good situation?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"I can handle that, but it was almost never present throughout history when humans had emotions, if it was more common, I would've kept it, acceptance is also from sadness." Volvox replied,
"Yeah, I know, the five stages of grief, I know acceptance can be hard sometimes." Starlight Glimmer said,
"Exactly, that's why my people don't just accept what they can do, me and the others are always aiming trying to make things better whenever possible." Volvox replied, Starlight Glimmer smiled,
"How about surprise, what do you think of that emotion?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"It was a problem." Volvox replied,
"Care to elaborate?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"Surprise has caught many humans off guard, which can be problematic in situations of combat or life or death." Volvox replied,
"How about surprise birthday parties?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"I find those to be a waste of time." Volvox replied,
"How come?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"Because everybody lives for a certain amount of time and dies eventually, the cycle of life and death is normal, I see no reason to celebrate it." Volvox replied,
"But what about the feeling of surprise from it?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"Still caught off guard, still a problem." Volvox replied, Starlight Glimmer gave him a disapproving face,
"Okay, let's move on to the next emotion, what do you think about disgust?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"That can get in the way sometimes, especially in life or death situations." Volvox replied,
"How?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"I assume you never had to eat bugs or sleep inside a carcass to survive before if you're asking." Volvox replied,
"Ugh." Starlight Glimmer said,
"See, there you go, I know carcasses stink and bugs taste bad, but there are times when they had to be done in order to survive in certain situations." Volvox replied,
"But still, it's gross, plus, you don't have to eat bugs if you pack your own food." Starlight Glimmer said,
"You do if you run out." Volvox replied, Starlight Glimmer's stomach turned,
"How were your people able to handle this again?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"Another reason why I got rid of humans' sense of taste, so if they do have to eat bugs to survive, they won't taste it, bugs also have a lot of healthy protein in them." Volvox replied,
"Just stop, this is gross, let's continue to the next emotion, anger." Starlight Glimmer said,
"Anger is a problematic emotion." Volvox replied,
"How?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"I cannot count how many times anger has led to irrational decision making." Volvox replied,
"Can you give an example?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"This goes back to whole being embarrassed thing, after you're embarrassed, you feel sad and mad, your anger causes you to do something irrational, which leads to you feeling even more embarrassed, also, when you do something out of anger, you feel regret shortly afterwards." Volvox replied,
"But what about anger at injustice?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"It is better to remain calm and fix it in secret, being direct can lead to making things harder on yourself." Volvox replied,
"So, anger is a bad thing to you?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"Yes, anger is poison, it leads to poor decision making, which has fatal consequences, and regret follows shortly afterwards, it's one of the first emotions I got rid of." Volvox replied,
"Okay, last one, let's talk about fear." Starlight Glimmer said,
"You're not doing every emotion?" Volvox asked,
"No, only the primary ones, talking about every emotion would take forever." Starlight Glimmer replied,
"Well, fear can also get in the way, if you're in life or death situations, there are times when refusing to do something out of fear leads to your death or making the situation worse for yourself." Volvox said,
"It can save your life, too." Starlight Glimmer replied,
"I know, getting rid of fear was a double edged sword, while it has led to the humans being fearless and willing to try anything to survive, it has also led to them not sensing any nearby dangers, which can backfire at times." Volvox said,
"So, what do you do about that?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"I have them educated in learning about dangerous plants and animals." Volvox replied,
"But what if you encounter a plant and animal you don't know about?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"I've already trained my citizens to avoid them." Volvox replied,
"But what if you can't?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"I've taught them to exercise the highest amount of caution possible if that does occur." Volvox replied,
"Oh, so you've already trained them. Now, onto your morals." Starlight Glimmer said,
"What about them?" Volvox asked,
"Haven't you ever heard right or wrong?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"I don't believe there is a right or wrong." Volvox replied,
"What do you believe in, then?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"Action, reaction, and impact." Volvox replied, much to Starlight Glimmer's shock,
"Where did you get that from?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"Watching others and my own actions, along with the consequences, there has been times when doing the morally right thing had bad consequences while doing the morally wrong thing had good consequences." Volvox replied,
"But what about doing the thing at the moment?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"It's not about what you do at the moment, it's about the consequences that come after it." Volvox replied,
"Don't you have any motto or code for yourself to follow?" Starlight Glimmer asked while raising her voice a little,
"Do the smart thing, not the right thing." Volvox replied, shocking Starlight Glimmer,
"See? This is why we have a problem with you, we do not wish to have a ruler who is willing to do anything, even bad things, to get what they want." Starlight Glimmer said,
"I'm not focused on getting what I want, I'm focused on getting what I need." Volvox replied,
"Which is?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"Good relationships with other countries to prevent a war and avoid unnecessary casualties." Volvox replied,
"Princess Celestia wishes for the relationship to be genuine friendship, though. Do you know why?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"I am aware males and females form friendship differently, I understand it is harder for me to bond with a female ruler due to females bonding through shared feelings and emotions, while males bond through shared experiences." Volvox replied,
"You can't experience anything if you don't feel anything." Starlight Glimmer said,
"Not that kind of experience." Volvox replied,
"What?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"Experience as in going through the same situation as one another, females don't bond that way." Volvox replied, Starlight Glimmer was slightly bewildered,
"Would you like to discuss anything else with me?" Volvox asked,
"No, that is all, you're free to go, thank you for your time." Starlight Glimmer replied, and Volvox went back to his nation. Starlight Glimmer left her office and went to the Mane Six and Spike, who were nearby and listening,
"Did you all get what he said?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"Yes, I just sent a letter to Princess Celestia." Twilight Sparkle replied, and they all wait for what will happen.
Volvox made himself grow back to his regular size and stood on top of his fortress while he watched his citizens, he hears flying to his right and his skeletal head sees Princess Celestia flying to him, she flies up to his center head and flaps her wings again,
"Volvox, we need to talk." Princess Celestia said,
"What is it?" Volvox asked,
"About your point of view on emotions and your morals, I can see why, but I still do not approve." Princess Celestia replied,
"Your reasoning?" Volvox asked,
"Has having one's trust ever occurred to you?" Princess Celestia asked,
"I'm trusted by pretty much every authority figure back at home." Volvox replied,
"And why is that?" Princess Celestia asked,
"Since me and my people only look at facts instead of emotions, we are seen as highly intelligent and wise, most of the nations I'm allies with come to me and my citizens for advice." Volvox replied,
"What kind of advice?" Princess Celestia asked,
"Anything you can think of, magic, technology, science, academics, history, culture, the list goes on." Volvox replied,
"How about on personal relationships and romance?" Princess Celestia asked,
"Yeah, people come to me for advice on that, too." Volvox replied,
"How often does your advice work?" Princess Celestia asked,
"Almost always." Volvox replied,
"I don't believe you." Princess Celestia said,
"What do you need as proof?" Volvox asked,
"Anything, letters, recordings, anything will do." Princess Celestia replied,
"Will my memory be proof?" Volvox asked,
"Yes." Princess Celestia replied after thinking about it for a minute,
"I don't have a spell to show it to you." Volvox said,
"It's fine, I got someone who can. Sunset." Princess Celestia said, Sunset Shimmer teleported to Sapien and was in front of Volvox's front right foot, she touches it with her front left hoof and sees Volvox's memories while Princess Celestia made a screen appear with her magic. Everycreature watches and they see several humans going to Volvox for advice, they hear them asking for advice on marriage, romantic moments, and the type of gifts to get for their crushes, Volvox gave different advice for every human, but they see his advice actually worked, and they wrote thank you letters to Volvox, which he used as a weapon, he had the humans throw the papers with their telekinesis to cut objects, and the memories disappeared while Princess Celestia watched with disapproval. Princess Celestia looks at Volvox,
"What about you, what do you think about deep friendships like romantic ones?" Princess Celestia asked,
"They don't mean much to me." Volvox replied,
"What? You don't care about deep friendships?" Princess Celestia asked,
"I do, I just don't feel any emotions over it or betrayal, it just happens, and I react accordingly to deal with the problems that rise afterwards." Volvox replied,
"What about your friend losing a life, what do you feel from that?" Princess Celestia asked,
"Nothing, it just happens, and they'll be around as a ghost." Volvox replied,
"What about your citizens here, what do you have to say when one loses his or her life?" Princess Celestia asked while raising her voice a little, everybody realized she was getting annoyed,
"Still nothing, it happens sometimes." Volvox replied, Princess Celestia was getting very irritated, even though she tried to hide it, everybody saw it,
"Is there anything I can do that'll make you feel better?" Volvox asked,
"Yes, you can try to bond with your people, and show them your love and care, you can also make me feel better by admiring the beauty of nature and art around you." Princess Celestia replied,
"Where would you like for me to start?" Volvox asked,
"Well, you can start by complimenting on my appearance, and telling me I'm beautiful." Princess Celesita replied while calming down,
"Your personality's more important." Volvox said,
"Well, true, it is, but a compliment on my appearance would be nice as well." Princess Celestia replied,
"I don't care about one's physical appearance." Volvox said, Princess Celestia's exclaimed with surprise, Princess Luna, Princess Cadence, Rarity, and all of the other creatures who cared about their physical appearance were all offended,
"Emperor Volvox! I put a lot of time and effort in looking my best when I'm in public, I can't just go around looking ragged and poor!" Princess Celestia said sternly,
"It would be wiser to carry weapons and armor with you than trying to look fancy." Volvox replied,
"Emperor Volvox, we are not militaristic countries, we are peaceful lands that offer friendship, and I am the most powerful ruler in this world, I am speaking on the behalf of the other rulers as well!" Princess Celestia said sternly,
"Then maybe you all should let me think about changing things around instead of trying to force me." Volvox replied calmly, Princess Celestia calmed down a bit,
"If you still want a compliment on your physical appearance, you're not going to get it from me or my people." Volvox said, Princess Celestia became offended, she flew to the south and in front of the humans marching, they stop and look up at her,
"Don't any of you have care about physical appearance?" Princess Celestia asked, Volvox, Dommiel, the Count of Saint Germain, Giovi, Tom, and the humans all shake their heads,
"None of you care about how much time and effort we put in to make ourselves presentable?!" Princess Celestia asked, they all shake their heads again, Princess Celestia was offended,
"How are you all okay with going somewhere and looking like garbage?!" Princess Celestia asked,
"Because it prevents us from getting robbed by thieves." Tom replied, Princess Celestia's left eye twitched and she sighed, she flies to Canterlot and goes to her throne while the humans continue marching.
Princess Celestia sat in her throne and sighed while she looked down, distraught she could get through to Volvox,
"Princess Celestia?" Twilight Sparkle asked as she and her five friends came into the throne room a few minutes later,
"I'm fine, Twilight, just a little frustrated right now." Princess Celestia replied,
"I do not understand, how is someone like him a ruler?" Rarity asked,
"Well, he is intelligent, and has a powerful nation, so maybe everybody is scared of challenging him." Twilight Sparkle replied,
"Ah doubt it, Twilight, we saw in his memories that others often go to him for advice, so maybe they ain't scared of him, and he's actually a good person, I mean, he ain't conquerin' or anythin'." Applejack said,
"But still, they're so emotionless, more so than Maud, it's kind of creepy." Rainbow Dash replied,
"The animals there are like that, too, they even only listen to nonfiction stories when I try to read to them." Fluttershy said,
"How is Princess Luna feeling about them?" Twilight Sparkle asked,
"She doesn't like the fact they're emotionless, nor does Cadence, they wish Volvox would give them their emotions back." Princess Celestia replied, Pinkie Pie growled,
"This isn't right! I'm going to make them open up, no matter what!" Pinkie Pie said, and she dashed out of the room,
"Pinkie, wait!" Twilight Sparkle said, but Pinkie Pie was already gone.
It was afternoon and the humans were marching while Volvox watched them,
"Hello! Welcome to Pinkie's Welcome to This World Party!" Pinkie Pie said as she appeared with many items,
"Well, get every single person and animal out here." Pinkie Pie said, and they do,
"Masks and hoods off." Pinkie Pie said, and the humans take their masks and balaclavas off while the officers also took off their hats. Pinkie Pie threw a party and had many confectioneries and drinks with her, along with chips and dip,
"Go on, everyhuman, dig in!" Pinkie Pie said, the humans did not go,
"What? Why aren't you all eating and drinking?" Pinkie Pie asked,
"Those are not healthy for us." Jane Doe replied, Pinkie Pie remembers the last time that happened and decided to focus on something else, she got a broom and was ready to do jokes,
"Hello, everyone, welcome to my stand up comedy show." Pinkie Pie said with the broom acting like a microphone, Volvox noticed it and became careful, wondering what else Pinkie Pie could do,
"Okay, okay, I've got a good one, did you all hear about the pig who practiced karate? He was called a pork chop." Pinkie Pie said, a rimshot was heard, the natives of Sapien just stood and watched stoically,
"Did you all hear about the banana that went to the doctor, it was not peeling well." Pinkie Pie said, another rimshot was heard while the humans were stoic and did not react, Pinkie Pie saw her comedy routine was not working,
"Well, since you all are my favorite crowd, and you've been a good audience, you all get to see a once in a lifetime special act." Pinkie Pie said, and she dashed away, she does a goof off and begins singing, playing instruments, and dancing, she proceeds to do the goof off while the humans, animals, Volvox, Dommiel, and Giovi watch stoically and unemotionally, they did not react and only had straight faces while Pinkie Pie continued the goof off. Pinkie Pie continues and used her party cannon, balloons, confetti, streamers, and multiple instruments in hopes of getting the natives of Sapien to smile and laugh, they did not, Pinkie Pie growled and decided to play a song and sing. Pinkie Pie sings a song while she has music play out of nowhere, she appears and disappears around Sapien while she danced, she sang in rhymes and watched the humans as they just watched and did not react, so Pinkie Pie began appearing and disappearing while wearing silly costumes, the humans still did not react, so Pinkie Pie changed the song's tempo and lyrics, she continued and did different dances. Pinkie Pie keeps changing the rhythm of the song, dancing, and her costumes around, each costume was sillier than the last, while each rhythm of the song was catchier than the last, Pinkie Pie keeps trying and heard brief chuckles, she looks and sees the humans had smiles on their faces, Volvox saw the Count of Saint Germain and Tom were smiling and chuckling a bit as well,
"Yes! I did it!" Pinkie Pie said elatedly while the ponies and other creatures looked on with disbelief,
"Maybe their emotions ain't completely gone after all." Applejack said, they see Pinkie Pie was jumping up and down happily while taking her costumes off,
"Maybe we should let our people have a little bit of emotions, Volvox." Dommiel said,
"Sure, it'll make blending in for spying and espionage missions easier." Volvox replied,
"No." Princess Celestia said a little sternly as she flew to in front of him,
"Just this once, don't think about military or being practical, Emperor Volvox, just let them feel and enjoy the moment." Princess Celestia said with her voice lowered back down to its regular tone, Volvox looks and saw the humans were just smiling a little at Pinkie Pie's shows, she pants and faints while sweating profusely, the humans check her to make sure she was alright and she was, Maud Pie walked to her and took her home.
Five days pass while Volvox uses his mind and magic to evolve the humans to feel a little emotion, but not to the point where they use emotions to influence their decisions, or complain when they have to do something unpleasant, his relationship with the other creatures became better as well, with Shining Armor, Flash Magnus, and Tempest Shadow handling the trade relations with Sapien and Equestria, Princess Ember and Dragon Lord Torch handled Sapien's relationship with the Dragon Lands, Grampa Gruff handled the relationship between Sapien and Griffonstone, Prince Rutherford handled Sapien's relationship with Yakyakistan, Pharynx did trade between Sapien and the Changeling Kingdom, and General Seaspray handled the relationship between Sapien, Mount Aris, and Seaquestria, Kirin Grove still remained closed since they did not know what to give.
The world's natives watch the humans change and were excited, but Twilight Sparkle and her friends look on with bewilderment when they saw the humans changed their black outfits to camouflage,
"Well, it's a start." Applejack said, her five friends agreed with her, and Volvox uses his magic to decorate the fortresses with different colors to make them blend in with their environment, he did so with the nation's weapons as well.
A show begins in the nation and they all watched, it was a show being put on by Trixie, Starlight Glimmer, Pinkie Pie, Cheese Sandwich, Autumn Blaze, and Discord, the world's natives went over to watch as well, everybody cheered at the end while the humans just smiled, Volvox, Dommiel, and Giovi did not react, the humans liked the show overall and it was nighttime when the show ended, everybody went to sleep while Volvox also let the night squad sleep at night as well.
Two days pass and the clouds come down in front of Volvox and formed into Hermes,
"We're finally done, Volvox, we can finally send your nation back." Hermes said,
"What took you guys so long?" Volvox asked,
"Sorry, but we got attacked by Nyarlathotep, we had to deal with him first." Hermes replied,
"Ah, no wonder why." Volvox said,
"Well, it's time to go home, Volvox, and my superiors say they want you to let the humans keep their emotions a bit." Hermes replied,
"Alright, we're ready to go back." Volvox said,
"Okay, here goes." Hermes replied, and he goes up into the clouds, the world's natives say bye to Volvox, Dommiel, Giovi, the humans, and the animals with them, the humans wave bye at them and they were sent back, so was the space station,
"Well, I certainly hope they adopt new outfits back at home." Rarity said,
"Only time will tell, Rarity, only time will tell." Twilight Sparkle replied, and they all remembered their time with the humans.
Volvox and his nation return to Earth and see not much has changed, the humans having their emotions back made espionage missions more successful since it allowed them to blend in with the crowd better, and their desire for a more colorful nation made the buildings and outfits more camouflaged and made it harder for enemies to detect them. Volvox continued to be the most powerful nation in the world and ruled for many generations to come.
