Volvox controlled the humans with an iron fist, they served under him as slaves, while he had demons and monsters work them to death with manual labor, and kill those who did not obey him or questioned his rule. Volvox only had Dommiel, Bael, Andras, Flauros, Belial, Seere, Lucifer, Satan, Asmodeus, Leviathan, Mammon, Beelzebub, Belphegor, Judas, and Giovi left as his commanders, the monsters he had left were Cerberus, Orthrus, the Bunyip, one Wendigo, five Tanukis, the Basilisk, Azhi Dahaka, Nuckelavee, the Hound of Baskervilles, the Mongolian Death Worm, the Stymphalian Birds, and the Bake-kujira, and his two pets, Phoenix and Thunderbird, his military used to have many more people and monsters, but they angered Volvox, and he killed them at those moments.
Volvox lived in a black fortress with his commanders, he had a big gray stone wall and ceiling built around his kingdom, not only to protect his kingdom from attackers, but also to make sure no human gets out, he had a roof built on the wall as well, the sun and moon were blocked out. A moat surrounded the kingdom on the inside, it was filled sharp objects that were rusty, and had tar in it instead of water, the Bunyip swam in there, Volvox would sometimes throw people in there for it to eat, he would watch them struggle to get out for his own amusement, until the Bunyip ate them, but if someone did make it out, he would kill that person personally. One thing that Volvox kept to make the humans remind him of his powers were spears all around his fortress with humans impaled on them, and brown wooden crosses with humans crucified on them, he also had dead humans in his moat of tar.
Tom was the leader of the humans before he was killed by Volvox, who he had hanged, drawn, and quartered. The Count of Saint Germain teleported out of the area and left to go find help, hoping there were more humans out there to help aid them. It is believed the humans were extinct outside of Volvox's kingdom, since it was all barren and desert. The other deities noticed Volvox's tyrannical rule and were trying to destroy the wall and roof around his kingdom, Zeus and Odin led the troops, Ares and Thor also decided to fight Volvox directly, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse were fighting him directly as well. The deities were not the only ones trying to overthrow Volvox, Talos and the Laestrygonians were trying to take him down as well, so was Goatman, Spring-Heeled Jack was fighting Volvox as well, the humans tried to overthrow him, but he proven himself to be too powerful for the humans to fight, so the deities and other creatures of the world stepped in to help them. Volvox was walking around in his throne room while looking out to his kingdom, one of his demons comes in,
"Emperor Volvox, the Count of Saint Germain escaped." the demon said,
"What? He got out again?!" Volvox asked,
"Please, emperor, you must understand, he can teleport in and out of the country at will." the demon replied,
"It matters not, you let him escape, you fool, you will die for your incompetence." Volvox said,
"Wait, emperor." the demon said, Volvox shot yellow beams out of the eyes of his center head and hit the demon, he screamed as he was obliterated. Another demon comes in, two more come in while holding a human hostage,
"Emperor Volvox, we have captured Santa Claus." the demon in the front said, Volvox looked at him,
"Volvox, you've been a naughty boy." Santa Claus said,
"Naughty? You didn't get me the bicycle I wanted when I was four years old." Volvox replied,
"What? Volvox." Dommiel said from the right side of Volvox's throne,
"What?" Volvox asked,
"That was fourteen billion nine hundred ninety nine million nine hundred ninety nine thousand nine hundred ninety six years ago." Dommiel replied,
"So?" Volvox asked,
"Santa Claus wasn't born yet." Dommiel said,
"It doesn't matter, I wanted a bicycle, and I didn't get one, send him to Giovi to be tortured." Volvox replied, Santa Claus screamed in horror while he was taken away. The humans were trying to find a way to get out of Volvox's kingdom, they were anorexic, and starving, most humans died in less than three days, they had to do extremely heavy manual labor, they were not given any food or water, but Volvox did not just have men and women working, he had children working, too, and animals, especially cats and dogs, he was having them build statues of himself to make them remind them that he is their ruler, but Volvox did not consider himself an emperor, he considered himself a god. The humans find a spell that they hope will set them free, they wait until the demons fall asleep, all they had were dim flames to see what was around them. The humans gather around a spellbook a human took from Volvox's quarters while he was in his throne room, they find a spell that could teleport them out of the area, they gather around in a circle, hold hands, and chant.
The ground shakes and the demons and Volvox come out and look around, they hear a loud thud, the humans look around and scream,
"No! It didn't work!" a man said, Volvox snickers,
"Thought you could leave that easily? Think again." Volvox said, and the humans scream in terror,
"What shall we do with them?" Leviathan asked,
"They can wait, I heard a thud, let's see if we're anywhere new." Volvox replied, and he uses his magic to project a screen to see if they were anywhere new, they were, he sees ponies, dragons, griffons, yaks, changelings, and hippogriffs looking at the giant wall that surrounded his kingdom, they were curious, some creatures flew up to see what was in the wall, but only saw a roof, everybody was curious on what was inside,
"What do ya think is in there, Twilight?" Applejack asked,
"I don't know, but I hope there's something friendly in there." Twilight Sparkle replied,
"Me too, I just hope it's not a giant monster." Fluttershy said,
"It must be huge if that wall and roof is that big." Rarity said,
"Well, there's only one way to find out, Pinkie Pie's already heading there." Rainbow Dash replied, Pinkie Pie goes to the wall surrounding Volvox's kingdom,
"Hey! Hello?" Pinkie Pie asked with a smile, the humans banged and scratched the walls, begging for help, but no one outside could hear them, Volvox and the demons smiled at their struggle,
"Give up, she can't hear you." Asmodeus said,
"Hello? Is anyone in there? I brought party materials." Pinkie Pie said, the humans keep begging and scratching on the walls, they could not get through,
"Oh well, I'll try again tomorrow." Pinkie Pie said, and she left, the humans begged and cried for her to come back, Volvox just smiled at their struggles,
"Find out who took my spellbook, and bring him to me when you all do." Volvox said, and he went back into his fortress. Volvox sat in his throne and called for three females to keep him company, they were the three Gorgons, Stheno, Euryale, and Medusa, each one had snakes for their hair, Stheno had red snakes, Euryale had blue snakes, and Medusa had yellow snakes, while the three can turn people into stones with their eyes', Volvox was immune to it. The three sisters had to please Volvox with music and dancing, they were reluctant to do it, especially Medusa,
"I'd like a dance today." Volvox said,
"Again? I'm tired of this." Medusa said,
"Sis, we must, if we want to live." Stheno replied,
"Yes, the gods are trying their best, we have to keep this up until he is destroyed." Euryale said,
"*sigh* fine." Medusa replied, and the three dance for Volvox, the Gorgons were happy that Volvox did not make them wear specific outfits, because he did not care about such things, the three had human arms and heads, but the rest of their bodies were that of snakes, Stheno's body was red, Euryale's body was blue, and Medusa's body was yellow, each one had orange-brown irises and cat-like pupils, their heads were a pale color. The three Gorgons slither around to please Volvox, they were praying to escape his rule, because he was not their only enemy, they were also enemies with Athena and Poseidon, they were planning to deal with them after they escape Volvox's rule. Volvox kept them to entertain himself when he had nothing to do, he had no intention of marrying one,
"Why don't you marry one of them, Volvox?" Dommiel asked,
"No, that will only make me more vulnerable." Volvox replied,
"What do you mean?" Dommiel asked,
"A common mistake human rulers made was falling in love with someone of the opposite gender, that person caused their downfall through manipulation, many of them done bad things to impress them, that is why I am never marrying or falling in love with a female." Volvox replied,
"Ugh, you don't need a woman to love you to overthrow you." Euryale said,
"Euryale, careful, Volvox will kill you if he hears you insult his appearance." Stheno replied,
"I'm not talking about his appearance, I'm talking about his character." Euryale said,
"I don't understand that, either, how does he not see the harm he has caused?" Medusa asked, Volvox did not see himself as a tyrant, he thought himself as a genuine benevolent ruler, he ruled humans the way he did because he saw them as inferior beings due to them not having the powers of other creatures and deities, and were a plague, therefore, they had to be ruled with an iron fist as punishment for being inferior beings.
The next day comes and Volvox sees the Mane Six go to the wall around his kingdom, there was no door or gate on it,
"Excuse me, I'd like to speak with whoever's in there." Twilight Sparkle said, there was no response,
"Helloooooo? Is anyone in there?" Pinkie Pie asked,
"Um, can any animal hear me?" Fluttershy asked, Rainbow Dash flies around looking for any cracks to look through, she flies to them,
"There's not a single crack or space to look through, I can't see anything." Rainbow Dash said,
"This is getting ridiculous, let's try opening it up." Rarity replied, and she tried using telekinesis to move a block, she grunted, it would not come out, she stopped and panted,
"Let me try." Applejack said, and she ran to it, she tried to push the same block inwards in hopes that it would come out and they could see through, but it did not budge,
"That thing is stuck in there, Ah can't move it a millimeter." Applejack said,
"Then how are we supposed to know what's inside?" Rarity asked,
"Stand aside, my little ponies, I'm going to try blasting it with the sun." Princess Celestia said, and the Mane Six run out of the blast zone. Princess Celestia fires a blast of fire from the sun at the wall and roof surrounding Volvox's kingdom, it did not damage it,
"Let me try." Princess Luna said, and she fired blue lightning from her horn, it did nothing to the wall and roof, Princess Cadence and Shining Armor walk to it,
"What do you think is in there?" Princess Cadence asked,
"I don't know, hopefully, not a monster." Shining Armor replied,
"Ah hope not, either, if there is one, it must be a mighty huge one." Applejack said,
"I thought about that, too, this is the biggest structure this world has ever seen." Twilight Sparkle replied,
"It is scaring my animals, plus, it also blocks out the sun in the morning." Fluttershy said, Volvox's kingdom was northeast of Canterlot, it blocked out the sun during most of the morning, Princess Luna's moon was blocked out early in the evening as well,
"Well, let's try teleporting inside." Twilight Sparkle replied, and she casts a spell to teleport into the kingdom, she and her friends enter, but Volvox had the demons put the flames out so it would be pitch black, and they were teleported out by a magic barrier in Volvox's kingdom,
"Did you guys find anything?" Princess Cadence asked,
"No, we can't see a thing in there." Applejack replied,
"Yeah, it's completely pitch black, we didn't hear anything, either." Rainbow Dash said,
"Did you all teleport out on your own?" Princess Luna asked,
"No, I think, whatever's in there, it's got some kind of spell casted in there to force us out." Twilight Sparkle replied,
"I still wanna see what's in there." Pinkie Pie said,
"We all do, Pinkie Pie." Applejack replied,
"Well, there's nothing we can do now, we'll come back another time." Princess Celestia said, and they left, Spike went over shortly afterwards,
"Here goes nothing." Spike said, and he burps, the green fire he produces did not do anything,
"I didn't think so." Spike said, and he walked away. The demons reignite the flames and the humans continue doing manual labor, some were dropping dead from exhaustion, the kingdom was now filled with dead bodies, a demon went to Volvox to ask him what to do, he got on his knees,
"Emperor Volvox, the kingdom is filled with corpses." the demon said,
"Crucify them." Volvox replied,
"We don't have anymore." the demon said,
"Then impale them with the spears." Volvox replied,
"We used them up." the demon said,
"Then why aren't you using the furnace to burn the bodies?" Volvox asked,
"Don't you remember? You destroyed it when you killed Bigfoot." the demon replied, Volvox has a flashback.
Volvox and Bigfoot were outside and arguing,
"This is not what I signed up for, I never signed up to enslave and kill humans." Bigfoot said,
"They are a plague, you will help me get rid of them." Volvox replied,
"No, Volvox, I think you're the plague." Bigfoot said, Volvox's chord was struck, he was enraged at what Bigfoot just said, and did not call him by his title,
"You say I'm a plague?! Then you can join the humans!" Volvox replied angrily, and he used his telekinesis to throw Bigfoot into the area with the furnace, Bigfoot screamed when he fell onto them, Volvox then shot three big orange and white blasts out of his mouths, one from each head, Bigfoot was obliterated, so was the furnace.
Volvox was angry remembering the memory,
"He would still be alive if he didn't provoke me like that, all of those demons and monsters I killed would be as well!" Volvox said angrily, he then used his telekinesis on the demon, he exclaimed,
"As for you, you made me remember a painful memory, you will pay with your life!" Volvox said, and shot beams out of his six eyes', the demon screamed as he was killed, Volvox then contacted his demons and monsters telepathically,
"All of you, stand back, I'm going to burn the bodies." Volvox said, and he ends the contact, he floats up in midair and shoots hellfire out of his front feet, it was a lot stronger than regular fire, it burns the corpses. The humans begin coughing from the smoke, it stank, and they were dying of smoke inhalation,
"There, that will get rid of those humans for good." Volvox said while smiling,
"Wait, there's a problem in your plans." Dommiel replied,
"What would that be?" Volvox asked,
"There won't be anyone to build your statues, you have to put the smoke outside." Dommiel replied, Volvox realized Dommiel was right, he groaned with disappointment and made small spaces appear in the walls and roof around his kingdom, sending the smoke out. The world's natives sees the smoke and it spreads throughout the land,
"Ooh, maybe they're cooking some marshmallows." Pinkie Pie said,
"Marshmallows would be nice to have right now." Starlight Glimmer replied, the black smoke spreads and everybody smells it, they cough and gag, some cover their noses,
"Definitely not marshmallows." Pinkie Pie said,
"I recognize that smell anywhere, it's burning flesh!" Princess Ember said while she covered her nose with her right hand, the other creatures scream in horror, Princess Celestia looks at the wall with suspicion. Volvox snickers while the natives of the world cough and gag from the stench of the smoke.
The Count of Saint Germain travels through time in hopes of finding a time when humans were not influenced by Volvox, he sees that Volvox has been around since the Hadean Eon, he resided in the core of the Earth, and was created by an unseen universal figure called the Maker. The Count of Saint Germain continue traveling through time and sees Volvox was the apex predator during the times of the trilobite and dinosaurs, he noticed that Volvox made the world the way it is with his powers, he sees Volvox was at the peak of his power during the dinosaur age. The Count of Saint Germain sees Volvox had a society already, it consisted of dinosaurs and dragons, he was the emperor, the king was a wyvern, and the prince was a spinosaurus, and his rule was the same, he was a tyrant, and killed his own people over the slightest offenses. The Count of Saint Germain sees Volvox grow bored with the dinosaurs and dragons, so he uses his powers to change the world and make them extinct, he made the Ice Age happen as well.
The Count of Saint Germain continues running through portals he has created in hopes of finding other humans available for help,
"Wait, what's this?" the Count of Saint Germain asked, he saw Volvox arguing, he saw gods as well, there were three groups of gods, the Egyptian gods, the Greek gods, and the Norse gods, he was mainly arguing with Ra, Zeus, and Odin,
"What do you mean I have to share?!" Volvox asked angrily,
"It is the orders of the Maker, it wants us to add new creatures to this world." Zeus replied,
"No! I was here first! This is my world to shape!" Volvox said angrily,
"Your time has passed, Volvox, it's our turn." Odin replied,
"When did the Maker decide this?!" Volvox asked angrily,
"When you killed your own people." Ra replied,
"What?! They were against my rule!" Volvox said angrily,
"Your rule? You were having them fight to the death for your own entertainment." Odin replied,
"Only the smartest and strongest deserve to be in my kingdom." Volvox said,
"What about all of those other creatures who are not dragon or dinosaur?" Zeus asked,
"They're game to me, my people can eat them." Volvox replied,
"Well, now that they're gone, the Maker wants you to share the planet with us." Ra said,
"No! This planet is mine! Find your own!" Volvox replied angrily,
"Actually, you have no choice, Volvox, the Maker will destroy you if you refuse." Zeus said, Volvox growled and reluctantly let them control the earth. The gods create the humans, angels, and other creatures that inhabit Earth, Volvox created demons and monsters, he watched and realized that humans were evolving, and were rising to the top of the food chain, Volvox realized he might actually lose his status as the apex species on the planet, but discovered something, his mind control works on them.
The Count of Saint Germain travels through time and sees humanity fighting in wars, and causing destruction to Earth because Volvox was mind controlling them, he sees Volvox mind controlled the humans to have Jesus crucified, he also saw Volvox mind control Ivan the Terrible to make him kill his own son. The Mongolian Empire and British Empire developed because of Volvox's mind control. Hitler, Stalin, and Mussolini did the things they did during World War II because they were under Volvox's mind control, the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was also Volvox's doing, he also made 9/11 happen by controlling the planes with his telekinesis, and every bad thing humanity has done in the time of their existence was because of him.
The Count of Saint Germain keeps traveling through time and sees himself achieving time travel from an experiment-gone-wrong, and when he achieved immortality by creating and drinking the Elixir of Life. The Count of Saint Germain arrives into the future and sees every god was dead, Volvox has won against them, and the humans were extinct, Volvox ruled the Earth once again, and created the planet and creatures as he saw fit, the planet was still under his tyrannical rule, and he was enjoying what he was doing, he was laughing as well. The Count of Saint Germain went back in time in hopes of finding any civilization to help him.
The next day comes and Sandbar, Gallus, Ocellus, Smolder, Yona, and Silverstream were at the wall,
"Uh, we'd like to share our cultures." Ocellus said, there was no response,
"Hello? Is anybody interested?" Silverstream asked,
"Yona want conversation with people!" Yona said,
"I doubt they're going to answer, our teachers had no luck." Smolder replied,
"If you guys are curious, we have a lot of things to teach." Gallus said,
"It's not working, guys, we should head back." Sandbar said,
"WE HAVE A LOT OF FOOD, ART, MUSIC, AND FASHION TO SHARE!!" Silverstream yelled, hoping someone would hear her on the other side of the wall, but there was no response, causing her to frown,
"Come on, guys, let's go." Sandbar said, and the six leave while the humans beg for them to come back, Volvox was having Stheno, Euryale, and Medusa dance for him, the three were sympathetic of the humans. The Wendigo, the Basilisk, and the Hound of Baskervilles were hungry, so they looked for the tallest humans and began eating them, they screamed in the process, the people on the outside could not hear them, the family members of the victims cried. A few hours pass and Big Macintosh goes to the wall with a carriage on him, Sugar Belle was on it with pies,
"I've brought baked goodies." Sugar Belle said in a singsong voice, the humans try to force their way out to get help, but to no avail,
"Do you hear anything, Big Mac?" Sugar Belle asked,
"Eenope." Big Macintosh replied, and the two wait. The humans desperately try to get out, they could not, the demons and monsters smiled as they watched the humans struggle, the two walked away after some time and the humans begin begging for them to come back, while others cried. Volvox forced the humans to continue building statues of himself and some humans begin dying from exhaustion, the five Tanukis watch with sympathy at the struggling humans, they decided to go see Volvox.
The natives of the world continue looking at the wall and ceiling around Volvox's kingdom, oblivious to what was inside, but they were curious,
"What do you think is in there?" Scootaloo asked,
"Ah don't know, but it probably ain't good." Apple Bloom replied,
"Considering yesterday, that smoke smelled horrible." Sweetie Belle said,
"Hold on, something's appearing outside that thing." Scootaloo replied, they all see a magic portal open and Talos walked out, surprising the natives. Talos walked to the wall and began attacking it with his sword, it did no damage. The tar from inside comes out due to Volvox using his magic, hoping it would make Talos stuck,
"Wait, what is that?" Apple Bloom asked,
"It looks like tar." Sweetie Belle replied, the natives watch nervously. Talos stepped carefully as he watched the tar, he hears cries for help, he looks to his right and sees four Tanukis in the tar, which Volvox put in. Talos sheathed his sword and walked to the Tanukis, he bent down to reach them and pull them out, but the Bunyip jumped out of the tar to attack Talos, it tried to bite him, roaring in the process, Talos grabbed its front legs and they wrestle one another. Fluttershy hears the Tanukis and flies over to them, they were trying to shapeshift, but could not. Silverstream gasps when she sees them, she flies over to them and changes into a seapony in hopes of getting them out, but she got stuck in the tar when she entered, she screamed as she tried to fight her way out,
"HELP!!" Silverstream screamed,
"Silverstream?" Twilight Sparkle asked, and she and her five friends go over to where they heard her, the rest of the Young Six go as well.
The eleven arrive and see her in the tar, they gasp and exclaim when they see the Tanukis as well. The eleven quickly work together to get them out, Applejack wrapped her lasso around Silverstream to get her out while her five friends and Pinkie Pie pulled, Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Rarity worked together to get the Tanukis, Twilight Sparkle and Rarity used telekinesis while Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy tried to pull them out with their front hooves. Talos wrestles with the Bunyip while he watched the world's natives rescue their friend and the Tanukis, the Bunyip notices the Tanukis being pulled out, it roars and goes towards them with the intentions of eating them, but light green and pink flames hit it in the face, it screeches, Spike and Princess Ember arrived to help, and they help by trying to pull the Tanukis out. Talos takes his sword out and stabs the Bunyip in the back of its neck, it screeches and dies, he puts it aside and reaches down to take the Tanukis out, he then reached for Silverstream and pulled her out, she changed back to her hippogriff form,
"Is everyone okay?" Twilight Sparkle asked, Silverstream panted and she turned around,
"Thank you." Silverstream said to Talos, he then turned around and focused on trying to get into Volvox's kingdom. The Tanukis look around desperately for their youngest family member, it was not put in the tar with the other four, they become horrified when they see the fifth member on the ground. The four Tanukis run to their youngest family member and discover it was dead, killed by Volvox, the mother Tanuki begins to cry over her youngest child's dead body, the Mane Six and Young Six look on with shock and sympathy, Fluttershy was crying as well,
"Y'all, I think we can all say, somethin' ain't right in there." Applejack said, as she and the others look at the wall. Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Princess Cadence, Shining Armor, Dragon Lord Torch, Princess Ember, Grampa Gruff, Prince Rutherford, King Thorax, Queen Novo, and Princess Skystar go to the wall surrounding Volvox's kingdom,
"Come out this instant! You all have explaining to do!" Princess Luna said angrily, there was no response, Volvox just watched with a magical screen,
"Open up! We need to talk!" Princess Ember said angrily, there was no response, Princess Ember began to growl,
"You can't ignore us forever! We'll get you to come out, one way or another!" Grampa Gruff said,
"Yak being ignored? Yak declare war!" Prince Rutherford said,
"Dragons declare war as well!" Dragon Lord Torch replied,
"Guys, wait, maybe there's a reason why we're not getting answers." King Thorax said,
"What would that be?" Princess Skystar asked,
"Maybe the people on the other side can't hear us." King Thorax replied,
"That would make sense, I mean, the others who came didn't get a response, either." Queen Novo said,
"We don't even know if there's anyone in there or not." Shining Armor replied,
"I think someone is in there, I don't think that tar and those creatures came out on their own." Grampa Gruff said,
"I think so, too, but I don't know what could have done it." Princess Cadence replied,
"We're still not getting a response, hold on, I'm going to try to have Discord enter." Princess Celestia said, and she flew away, she returned a few minutes later with Discord,
"Oh, so this is where I have to enter, time for old Discord to work his magic." Discord said, and he tries to teleport in, but was forced out,
"What the? Something in there forced me out." Discord said, and he tried to use his magic to make the wall and roof around Volvox's kingdom alive so they would move around and reveal what was inside, but his magic did not work,
"What the? My magic doesn't work on it." Discord said with shock, the world's natives were shocked as well,
"Let's go, it's no use, everycreature, not even Discord can get through." Princess Celestia said, and they all left, Princess Ember and Grampa Gruff were grumbling. Pinkie Pie ran to the wall and banged on it with both of her front hooves,
"Open up!" Pinkie Pie said angrily, there was no response, Pinkie Pie growled and began punching her front hooves into the ground, she goes around the wall in hopes of finding an opening, she goes around the wall as well, it was wide, everybody watches her with surprise. Pinkie Pie punched all the way down to the bedrock and finished, she panted and sweated while everybody looked on, they see the wall and went underground as well, it was on the bedrock,
"OH, COME ON!!" Pinkie Pie said, the world's natives were shocked to see how deep the wall went into the ground. Volvox uses his magic to fix the ground around the wall, Pinkie Pie growled,
"OPEN THE WALL!! I WANT TO SEE PARTY!!" Pinkie Pie yelled, and she banged her snout on the wall multiple times, a few minutes later, they heard a crack, Pinkie Pie screamed and realized she has broken her own snout,
"Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow." Pinkie Pie said as she turned around and held onto her bleeding snout, her five friends run to her while Volvox and Dommiel chuckled,
"Stupid girl." Dommiel said,
"You okay, Pinkie Pie?" Rainbow Dash asked, Maud Pie ran to her to check on her as well,
"It's alright, Pinkie, let me see." Maud Pie said, and she checks Pinkie Pie's snout,
"It's not too bad, it'll heal after about a week or two." Maud Pie said,
"But it really hurts." Pinkie Pie replied,
"Don't worry, Pinkie Pie, I have a spell to make the pain go away." Twilight Sparkle said,
"Thank you, you all are the best friends ever!" Pinkie Pie replied loudly, and hugged all of them, the humans complained about her, and they left. Volvox was busy listening to Santa Claus scream while Giovi tortured him, he was cutting him with the blades that replaced his claws, Volvox was smiling and enjoying the screams. Volvox hears walking and sees Orthrus walking in,
"What do you want, Orthrus?" Volvox asked, annoyed that he interrupted his fun, Orthrus rubbed his stomach with his two heads, indicating he was hungry,
"You interrupted my fun time just to ask for food?!" Volvox asked angrily, Orthrus whimpered in fear, Volvox stood up and used his telekinesis on Orthrus, he snaps both of his necks and kills him, Cerberus hears his younger brother and looked at the fortress with worry. Volvox uses his telekinesis to throw Orthrus' body out of the kingdom, through the roof, Cerberus sees him and quickly runs and jumps out through the hole before Volvox could repair it. Cerberus arrives outside and runs to Orthrus' body, he saw he was dead, he howled in grief at his brother's corpse, the world's natives see him, some were crying, they were really starting to worry what was going on inside the wall.
The Count of Saint Germain continues traveling through time and accidentally finds the location of Volvox's kingdom,
"Hold on a little longer, I promise I'll find help." the Count of Saint Germain said, he looked and saw Talos, he wondered if the gods opened a portal for him to enter that world. He continues his journey and sees something that catches his mind in the modern day of his world, he noticed that even extraterrestrials and beings from other realms and dimensions were trying to take Volvox down, the Count of Saint Germain also saw a sign,
"To any human who escaped from Volvox's kingdom, we offer sanctuary at the palace, we have food, water, shelter, and fire, and the angels, extraterrestrials, extra-dimensionals, and gods will protect you." the sign read, the Count of Saint Germain recognized the place, he went to the palace. The palace was filled with anorexic and sick humans, the gods present there were Odin, Frigg, Váli, Víðarr, Baldr, Thor, Sif, Ullr, Þrúðr, Dellingr, Nótt, Forseti, Hermóðr, Lóðurr, Týr, Eir, Iðunn, Lofn, Sjöfn, Freyja, Zeus, Hestia, Hera, Poseidon, Amphitrite, Hades, Persephone, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Ares, Demeter, Dionysus, Hephaestus, Hermes, Amun, Amunet, Mehit, Atum, Horus, Montu, Neper, Nepit, Ra, Ptah, Thoth, Ma'at, Bast, Hathor, Heket, Hesat, Mut, Renenūtet, Tefnut, Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, and Bishamonten. There were many angels there as well, but the Count of Saint Germain only recognized Michael, he ignored them and walked to the people. There were many different species', the angels see him and they inform the others, Odin, Zeus, and Ra go to him,
"Who are you?" Zeus asked,
"I'm the Count of Saint Germain, I'm a time traveler, I'm looking for help against Volvox." the Count of Saint Germain replied, the three gods become surprised, they go back to inform the others, a group of military humans go to him,
"You've come to the right place, lead us to him." the leader of the unit said,
"Wait, what about the gods, why can't they come?" the Count of Saint Germain asked,
"There's too many humans to take care of, they can't leave them be." a man in the unit replied,
"We're also waiting for Talos to return, he hasn't come back yet." another man said,
"I saw him, he's at Volvox's kingdom, we must hurry." the Count of Saint Germain replied,
"Agreed, lead the way." the leader of the unit said, and he follows the Count of Saint Germain.
Volvox was having Stheno, Euryale, and Medusa dancing for him again, the three were shocked and disgusted that he killed Orthrus for just asking for food. The three finish and Volvox was not pleased this time,
"I didn't like your dances this time." Volvox said,
"We apologize, Emperor Volvox, we'll try better next time." Stheno replied,
"GOD Volvox!" Volvox said angrily, scaring the three with his booming voice,
"You are no god, you're a bad ruler." Euryale said,
"I'm the bad ruler? Those humans are a plague, I'm saving the world by destroying their kind." Volvox replied,
"Then why do you have them building statues of yourself?" Medusa asked,
"To let them know who's superior, they are the only species of developed creatures that cannot use magic or have any powers, therefore, they are inferior." Volvox replied,
"The dinosaurs of your kingdom didn't have any powers, either!" Medusa said angrily,
"That was a different story! They were prototypes of what I was going to create, those humans are not!" Volvox replied angrily, Medusa was getting angry,
"That's it, I can't do this anymore, I quit." Medusa said, Volvox used telekinesis on her while her two sister exclaim in horror,
"Then I no longer have any use of you." Volvox said, and he uses his telekinesis to rip her head off and kill her, she screamed in the process, Volvox then threw her body outside of his fortress, Stheno and Euryale quickly slither outside and see their youngest sister's dead body, the two cradle it and cry, the humans watch with horror, but the demons hit them to force them back to working. Dommiel became angry at Volvox,
"Volvox! They were never a threat to begin with!" Dommiel said angrily,
"You dare question me?!" Volvox asked,
"This has gone on long enough, you can't just kill whoever displeases you!" Dommiel replied angrily,
"My kingdom, my rules!" Volvox said,
"Then I quit!" Dommiel replied angrily, the others hear him, Volvox shot beams out of his six eyes, black beams from his right head, red beams from his left head, and yellow beams from his center head, they burn Dommiel and he screams, Volvox uses his telekinesis to throw him outside after he was dead,
"To all of you monsters and demons! I will personally kill whoever tries to quit or question my authority!" Volvox said, and the monsters and demons serve under him with fear.
The Mane Six, Starlight Glimmer, and Spike were with Cerberus and the Tanukis, they were at Fluttershy's cottage, they were still grieving,
"Have ya gotten anythin' out of 'em, Fluttershy?" Applejack asked,
"No, I can't understand what they're saying." Fluttershy replied,
"I mean, they did just lose someone they liked, so of course they'll be hard to understand." Spike said,
"No, what I mean is I don't understand their language." Fluttershy replied,
"Can you all at least try to show us what you're trying to tell us?" Twilight Sparkle asked, Cerberus and the Tanukis lead them. They arrive at the wall again and the Tanukis and Cerberus direct their attention to the tar,
"Wait, is something in there?" Rarity asked, the five creatures nod, Talos sees them and takes a break from trying to break the wall down, he walks to them, reaches into the tar with his right hand, and pulls out a human skeleton, the world's natives scream at seeing it,
"Just what is going on in there?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"Hold on, I'll see if I can remove all of this tar." Twilight Sparkle replied, and she casts a spell, the tar disappears, they gasp and exclaim in horror when they see human skeletons were everywhere in it. Princess Celestia flew to them and landed,
"I was always suspicious something bad was going on in there, this more than confirms it, we have to break the wall down." Princess Celestia said,
"But how? Not even Discord can get in there." Rainbow Dash replied,
"I'm thinking about that now, let's go, I'll let you know if I come up with anything." Princess Celestia replied, and they all leave.
Several hours pass and another portal opens in front of the wall, everybody sees the Count of Saint Germain and the military unit come out, surprising the natives,
"He's here, I hope I'm not too late." the Count of Saint Germain said,
"This is the area? Okay, we're going to blast the wall with explosives, stand back." the leader of the unit said, and he and his unit lay dynamite everywhere on it, they worked together to put it on the roof and underground as well, they all stand back, Talos walked away from the wall,
"Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one, detonate." the leader of the unit said, and another soldier pushes a switch down with his hands. The dynamites explode and destroy the wall and roof, the smoke clears and it revealed a second layer underneath, the world's natives become irritated,
"Oh, come on!" Rainbow Dash said in an exasperated tone,
"Okay, we're going to try the same thing." the leader of the unit said, and they lay more dynamite and blow it up, the smoke clears and the second wall was undamaged, shocking the world's natives,
"Nope, this one's stronger than the first layer." the leader of the unit said, the Count of Saint Germain was worried. Everybody hears cries of help on the inside, the military unit hears them as well,
"Thank goodness, I made it on time." the Count of Saint Germain said,
"Let's see if there's an opening anywhere." the leader of the unit replied, and they check, they see a very narrow at the bottom in the front, on the left side,
"I can fit through there." a male soldier said,
"Alright then, get your camera, let's see what this man says is true." the leader of the unit replied, and he puts a head camera on the soldier, and he goes in.
The soldier crawls through with the camera recording, the military unit watched with a big screen, the world's natives watched as well, curious about what was inside, the moat was empty, but skeletons and sharp objects were still inside. The soldier climbs up out of the trench and looks at what was inside, the world's natives exclaim and scream in horror when they see the impaled and crucified humans, there were dead bodies everywhere, they also see humans working for demons as slaves, they were sick and anorexic, some died while working as well, so did the animals, the area was filled with monsters as well,
"No way, the man's tale is true." a soldier on the outside said,
"Wait, look up there." another soldier replied, they watch the screen and see Volvox standing on top of his fortress,
"Argh! Emperor Volvox!" the soldier said in terror, Volvox shoots an orange and white blast from his center head, it hits the human and he screams in pain as he was killed, orange light shone outside a little as well, Volvox then uses his powers to fix the hole. The unit's radio goes off,
"We saw the screen, permission to engage in combat granted, sending reinforcements and heavy weaponry now!" the man on the radio said, and it goes off. The ponies, dragons, griffons, yaks, changelings, and hippogriffs head over to Volvox's kingdom and start attacking the wall, the unicorns and changelings shoot spells out of their horns', Pegasi and earth ponies were trying to remove the bricks, the dragons breathed fire and tried to use their claws to remove the bricks, the griffons tried to use their talons to remove the bricks, they also tried pecking their way through with their beaks, the yaks charged into the wall in hopes cracking it, several other changelings changed into the world's native creatures to attack the wall, and the hippogriffs tried to pull the bricks out with their talons. The humans wait for their reinforcements while Talos was trying to pry the bricks out with his sword,
"Nothing's working!" Twilight Sparkle said,
"We can't give up! There are lives at stake in there!" Princess Celestia replied while she tried to use her magic to destroy the wall. Portals open and more soldiers and tanks come out, the tanks begin shooting at the wall in hopes of destroying it, they were not working. The Tanukis and Cerberus went over to help break the wall down, they were not making any progress either,
"We ain't gettin' anywhere, the wall has no damage to it." Applejack said,
"Keep trying, Applejack, we have to help them!" Princess Cadence replied, all of the creatures continue trying to break the wall down. The environment behind the humans change and it closely resembled Earth, they see movement in the water, the Laestrygonians come to the surface while growling and roaring, surprising the world's natives, they attack the wall and try to break it apart with Talos, they hear more movement and they see Poseidon come with his trident, Amphitrite was with him as well, they attack the wall as well. The ground bursts open and Hades arrives with Persephone, Osiris and Anubis have come to help as well. The sky gets cloudy and two lightning strikes hit the wall, everybody saw Zeus and Thor combining their thunders together to make powerful strikes, four horses come as well, everybody saw the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse have arrived to help, they were skeletal and wore black cloaks, while the White Horseman had a crown on his head, Michael leads angels to the wall and they all throw yellow spears of light at the roof, Odin soon joined while riding on Sleipnir. The plants form together and everybody became surprised, they form a being as big as the wall around Volvox's kingdom, the being had red eyes.
Volvox was watching through a magical screen and he stood up with shock,
"What?! Swamp Thing?! I killed you!" Volvox said, unable to believe he has returned.
Swamp Thing begins putting its plants and vines into the spaces between the bricks, Ares soon arrives and begins attacking with his sword and shield. Star Swirl the Bearded runs to them,
"I'm here!" Star Swirl the Bearded said,
"Good, Twilight, we're going to need your help." Princess Celestia said, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Princess Cadence, Shining Armor, Twilight Sparkle, Flurry Heart, and Star Swirl the Bearded cast a spell together, they hit the wall and the whole thing explodes,
"Okay, it's down, let's go." Twilight Sparkle said, and everybody enters Volvox's kingdom.
Everybody flies and marches into Volvox's kingdom while the humans cover their eyes' and look away from the bright sun. A black shadow forms on the bridge and the Hound of Baskervilles appears, it growls and snarls at them, Cerberus runs to it and the two fight. Cerberus had the upper hand for the time until the Hound of Baskervilles disappeared and reappeared behind Cerberus, it bites him and he roars, Winona runs to the Hounds of Baskervilles and jumps onto it to distract it. The Hound of Baskervilles moves around in hopes of getting Winona off, but Twilight Sparkle casts a spell and dispels the creature, everybody continues inwards.
Volvox's demons charge forward while the angels and Michael enter the battle, the humans use their guns to shoot the demons. Seere appears and goes over to fight, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse ride to him, but Seere hits them away with his spear, the Four Horsemen disappeared and reappeared, so did Seere, he was able to appear anywhere, and appeared in a few seconds,
"Ignore the creatures for now, take out that guy on the winged horse." Shining Armor said as he led the royal guards, they could not get him due to him appearing and disappearing everywhere, the changelings tried to shoot him with their beams, they all missed, the unicorns all cast telekinesis everywhere and eventually get ahold of Seere, the Pale Horseman decapitates him with his scythe. The Stymphalian Birds dive down and attack the humans, they scream in pain as the world's natives realize they had beaks as sharp as blades, they also launched their feathers at the angels. The Pegasi, Wonderbolts, dragons, griffons, and hippogriffs try to restrain them from behind, Zeus and Thor use their lightning powers on them, it did nothing. Fluttershy commands the world's animals to fight the birds, she also tried to reason with them, but they did not listen, and shot their feathers at her. The White Horseman aimed his bow at the birds and shot down several, another portal opened and Artemis came out, she shot down several as well, magic was not working on them, they were soon turned into meat. Everybody was confused until they saw Discord,
"Discord, you're here." Twilight Sparkle said,
"Of course I am, I couldn't bear to watch my friends get hurt." Discord replied, the world's natives smiled.
Screeching was heard and they saw Phoenix coming, he opens his mouth and breathes fire,
"Get down!" the leader of the unit said, and they all do, the fire passes them. The dragons get ready to fly up and fight it, but something attacks Phoenix from his right, they struggle and everybody sees it was Philomena, surprising everybody. The two phoenixes fight while in the air, they were able to tell who was who, since Philomena only had red and orange feathers, while Phoenix was literally made out of fire. Phoenix breathes fire out of his mouth and it did nothing to Philomena, she tries to attack Phoenix with her talons while screeching, Princess Celestia watched with worry. Philomena gets electrocuted and screeches, the world's natives were very shocked, they all look and saw blue electricity, it comes forward and they all saw Thunderbird flying into the battle,
"Is that... a thunderbird?" Applejack asked,
"I've never seen one before." Twilight Sparkle said, Philomena was deeply hurt and falling,
"No!" Rainbow Dash said as she flew to her and brought her to safety,
"Everybody, step aside." Poseidon said, and they all do, he and Amphitrite use their powers to shoot water at the two birds, but the water near Phoenix evaporated, and Thunderbird absorbed it, making his lightning powers stronger,
"We're going in." Princess Celestia said, the ponies were shocked,
"But, Princess Celestia..." Twilight Sparkle said,
"Go on without us, we'll deal with the birds, let's go, sister." Princess Celestia said, and she and Princess Luna fly to them, Princess Celestia went to fight Thunderbird, while Princess Luna went to go fight Phoenix.
More portals open and Goatman and Spring-Heeled Jack came out, the two arrived to help, they go forward and see more demons, they all fight while the humans go past them to rescue the humans under Volvox's rule, Víðarr entered the battle shortly afterwards, with the anger of the deceased and their loved ones fueling his powers. Everybody divided into groups, the ground bursts open and there was water, everybody saw the Bake-kujira in it, there were humans desperately trying to swim to safety. General Seaspray jumped into the water and changed to a seapony, the hippogriff navy entered with him, he fights the Bake-kujira while the other hippogriffs get the humans. Several humans and angels with fighting the demons in the eastern part of the kingdom, several humans screamed as they were eaten, they all saw the Azhi Dahaka coming, the angels throw spears at it to attack it, but its wounds made poisonous snakes, spiders, scorpions, and lizards fall out, they bit and stung the angels and humans, they screamed and died from their poison,
"Get the creatures!" Princess Ember said,
"What? That thing's dangerous!" a human soldier replied,
"Just go! I'll deal with it!" Princess Ember said, and the people got the humans and animals under Volvox's rule while Princess Ember fought the Azhi Dahaka.
The people in the west were struggling against the Mongolian Death Worm, it burrowed into the ground, came out, shot paralyzing electricity out of its mouth, and burrowed back in, the yaks and Mane Six were struggling,
"How are we supposed to win against this?!" Rainbow Dash asked,
"Watch out for its venom, it's corrosive, too." the Count of Saint Germain replied, he walks carefully with a revolver in his left hand, the Mongolian Death Worm senses him through vibration and quickly came out of the ground, it was about to shoot a bolt of electricity at him, but it screeches and falls, everybody sees Prince Rutherford charged and stabbed his horns into its back, but the Mongolian Death Worm burrows into the ground and takes him with it. Hades uses his powers to open the ground, Applejack throws her lasso and it lands on the Mongolian Death Worm's neck, she tries to pull it back but it resisted, a sword is stabbed into its head and it was killed, everybody saw the Red Horseman, Talos walked over and pulled Prince Rutherford out of the ground,
"Is everybody okay?" Twilight Sparkle asked, they all nodded, they see the humans and go to get them out of the kingdom.
Princess Celestia and Princess Luna fly around to dodge the fire and lightning breaths of Phoenix and Thunderbird, the two princesses shoot beams out of their horns, the birds shot fire and lightning out of their mouths, Princess Celestia entered a deadlock with Thunderbird while Princess Luna entered a deadlock with Phoenix, Grampa Gruff and Gallus flew to them and attacked the two birds from behind with their talons, they got distracted and the two birds got hit and were destroyed,
"Thank you, both of you." Princess Celestia said,
"Save the thanks for later, we've got a battle to win." Grampa Gruff replied, and they fly to help the others.
General Seaspray see the humans were all out of the water while he wrestled with the Bake-kujira, he changed to a hippogriff and tried to fly out, but could not, Terramar and Silverstream flew to him and pulled him out, he took the Bake-kujira out of the water as well, it could not breathe and died,
"Is everybody okay?" Terramar asked, the rescued humans nodded, they hear roaring and see Flauros running to them, he tries to slash them with his claws, the hippogriffs moved away from the humanoid leopard, he focuses on Queen Novo and runs to her.
Princess Ember wrestled with the Azhi Dahaka and was careful of its head, she slashes its body with her claws, the poisonous critters fell out and she burned them all with her fire breath, more begin to fall out and she was shocked to notice it was too many for her to burn, more fire breaths appear behind her and she sees Dragon Lord Torch, Spike, and Smolder have come to help. Goatman and Spring-Heeled Jack go over to help, Spring-Heeled Jack jumped onto the left head to force it down, Goatman cut it off with his axe, Spring-Heeled Jack jumped to the right head and forced it down, Goatman cut it off, Spring-Heeled Jack then stabbed one of his knives into the center head, it screeched and fell, Goatman then cut the last head off. Poisonous critters come out of Azhi Dahaka's body, but Fluttershy flies over and commands the animals, they leave without harming them, Princess Ember sighed with relief.
Queen Novo flew around to dodge Flauros while he tried to slash her, Zeus threw a thunderbolt at him and destroyed him. They hear running and saw the Black Horseman chasing Andras, he used his scales to change the terrain, he tried to slash whoever got in his way with his sword, he was trying to go to the world to spread chaos, but Discord sensed him and blocked the entrance,
"Uh, uh, uh, spreading chaos in this world is my job." Discord said, Andras tried to slash him with his sword, but it did nothing to Discord, Starlight Glimmer zapped him from behind and he was destroyed.
The Tanukis arrive to help and enter the country, they hear roaring and see the Wendigo waiting for them, they changed to Wendigos to battle it, Thorax and Ocellus saw them, they changed into bugbears and went over to help. The Wendigo had trouble against them and was being overpowered, Thorax and Ocellus stung him from behind to paralyze him, and the Tanukis ripped him apart and changed back to normal.
Swamp Thing was near the south of Volvox's kingdom, he saw the plants near him dying, he noticed the Basilisk was coming over to fight him, he was made sure not to look into its eyes. Swamp Thing tried to have vines entangle the Basilisk, but its breath killed the plants. Swamp Thing decided to go into the ground, and reform behind it, he tried to choke it but its breath was killing him. Rarity sees several humans run to the Basilisk, but it looks at them and they die instantly, Rarity exclaim with shock and used her telekinesis to get a mirror from her home, she used it to block her view, but when the Basilisk saw itself, it died, Swamp Thing looked away. Rarity was very surprised, she did not expect that to happen.
Everybody hears screaming and saw the Nuckelavee running away with a human boy in each hand. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse chase it while the Black Horseman used his scales to change the terrain, Poseidon shot fresh water at it, the creature screeched and dissolved. Everybody continues on to the fortress but the Count of Saint Germain got attacked, they all saw Judas,
"I didn't think you'd return, Count of Saint Germain, you will die for your treachery." Judas said, and he held a gladius in his right hand, the Count of Saint Germain stood up and held a sabre in his right hand. The two enter a sword duel and everybody watched, the two hit each other's swords, the Count of Saint Germain's sword had longer range, which helped him, he soon slashed Judas' neck and he died, the sword fight lasted for about two and a half minutes.
Everybody continued going forward but a fiery explosion appeared, the smoke clears and everybody saw Giovi, he glared at them, and was ready to fight,
"Wait, are those knife blades in place of his fingers?" Starlight Glimmer asked, Giovi got into a fighting stance, the Count of Saint Germain shot a bullet at him, he cut it in midair with the knife blades on his right hand. The human soldiers shoot their guns at him, he held all of the bullets in midair with telekinesis, shocking the ponies, because he did not have a horn. Giovi lunged towards the Count of Saint Germain, he slashed him with the ten knife blades and cut his revolver in the process, the Count of Saint Germain was overwhelmed by his speed and strength. Princess Ember ran to him,
"I'll take him on." Princess Ember said, and Giovi got ready to fight her, he did not say anything. Princess Ember tried to wrestle him, but he simply stabbed his knife blades into her palms, she screamed, he then used telekinesis on her to restrain her movement, he was ready to kill her, but he heard Pinkie Pie coming, she tried to tackle him, but he does a backflip to dodge her, Twilight Sparkle shoots him with a zap, he knocked him back, he did not make a sound,
"Is he mute?" Rarity asked,
"No, he just chooses not to speak." a human boy replied, Princess Ember landed on her feet and shot fire out of her mouth, but Giovi used his magic and the fire floated around him, the world's natives gasp, the pink fire changes to orange and he shoots it back at her, Princess Ember was not harmed. Princess Ember tackles him onto the ground, but he does a backflip and lands on top of Princess Ember's chest with his feet, his boots pressed against her chest hard, she grunted loudly. Dragon Lord Torch flew to him and punched him off of his daughter, Giovi was about to fall, but he landed on his right hand and did a backflip to land on his feet, he then quickly ran towards Dragon Lord Torch, he was too fast to be seen with the regular eye, he was about to attack, but Princess Cadence and Shining Armor teleported between him and Dragon Lord Torch, they use their shields to hold him back, the Count of Saint Germain got up and stabbed his sword into the back of his head and kills him.
Everybody hears a lot of racket in the sky and they saw Michael fighting Lucifer, there were six other angels with him, the Count of Saint Germain recognized them, Gabriel was fighting Satan, Uriel was fighting Leviathan, Selaphiel was fighting Mammon, Jegudiel was fighting Beelzebub, Raphael was fighting Asmodeus, and Barachiel was fighting Belphegor. Asmodeus made the demons attack people of their opposite genders, Leviathan made the demons attack those who were rich, Mammon had control over metallic and paper objects, Beelzebub made the demons try to eat other people, Belphegor made the world's natives, angels, and deities have no energy, they fell to the ground, he also had gravity powers, Satan had fire powers and granted them to the demons who had short tempers, and Lucifer made the rich and successful native people of the world attack those who were just as rich or successful as them, they controlled the demons telepathically. Star Swirl the Bearded tried to fight back the lack of energy and sensed them with his magic, he realized Belphegor's magic was making them have no energy,
"Everybody, take out that sitting guy, he's the one who's seeping our energy." Star Swirl the Bearded said,
"But how? I can't even move." Rainbow Dash replied,
"Me neither, I don't have the energy to cast even the simplest spell." Twilight Sparkle said,
"We have to fight it, it may be difficult, but we have to try." Princess Celestia replied, she tried to stand up but had trouble, everybody tried as well. Zeus and Thor managed to break through, so did Odin, he tried to help,
"Thor, let's try to wipe them out in one blow." Zeus said,
"I agree." Thor replied,
"I'll help, then." Star Swirl the Bearded said, and the two gods put their lightnings together, and shoot out, Star Swirl the Bearded casts a spell to multiply it. The Princes of the Seven Deadly Sins were hit and they scream and explode. Everybody stands up and looks around, they saw the demons have yielded,
"Well, that's the last of them." Thor said,
"Volvox is the only one left." Odin replied,
"Let's go, then." Princess Celestia said, and they enter the fortress. Everybody sees the fortress was empty, and they hear screaming, they run and see the demons torturing Santa Claus. Twilight Sparkle casts a spell to subdue the demons, they see Santa Claus chained up with many wounds on him,
"Thank you, I thought help would never come." Santa Claus said,
"You're welcome, hold on." Twilight Sparkle replied, and she uses her magic to break the chains, Santa Claus panted and other creatures took him outside. Everybody walks around the fortress and see no one, they soon arrive into the throne room and saw Volvox was gone, unbeknownst to them, Volvox has shrunken himself to the size of an atom,
"Ah, he got away." Hades said,
"What?! No! No! No! He couldn't have escaped!" Pinkie Pie said,
"I know, right, we all saw him, he's huge." Rainbow Dash replied,
"Trust us, Volvox has many powers, most people don't challenge his rule because of it." Zeus said,
"Well, it's a shame he got away, we'll have to check our world and see if he's there, thank you for your help, all of you." Poseidon said,
"You're welcome, we'll be around if you all need anymore help." Princess Celestia replied, and the world's natives leave. The gods begin evacuating the humans with the Count of Saint Germain and the military unit. Portals open and centaurs walk out, a portal opened in the sky and Amun and Ra came out,
"Guys, Volvox isn't in our world." Amun said,
"What?" Ares asked,
"It's true, we checked with our powers, he's still in his fortress, he just shrunk himself to the size of an atom." Ra replied, the other gods and humans look at the fortress. An explosion comes out of the fortress and orange flames burst out of the ground. Volvox changes his regular size with hellfire around him,
"You gods had to come here, you all destroyed the Earth, I'm not going down without a fight." Volvox said,
"Come on, Volvox, we're not afraid of you." a male soldier said,
"Then come, and face the flames of Hell, itself." Volvox replied, the soldier runs to him to fight, Volvox shoots hellfire out of his front right foot, it hits the soldier, he screams and burned immediately, the fire extinguished as soon he was done burning, there were no remains of the soldier, even his teeth and bones burned. The world's natives screamed in horror at what they saw,
"That's not regular fire, it shouldn't burn anyone that fast, or burn the skeleton and teeth." Princess Ember said, Thor and Zeus combine their lightnings together to hit Volvox, it did nothing to him, the centaurs shot arrows at him, but when they hit Volvox, the arrows bent and broke, they fell onto the ground. Volvox lifts his front legs up, hellfire comes out of the ground and burns the people, they scream, the tentacles that made up his spine come up and begin throwing the yellow seven-pointed bladed stars around, they bounce around and cut the people fighting him. The world's natives go over to help since the others were struggling, Odin rode Sleipnir to Volvox to fight him, his sons joined as well, Odin jumped and tried to stab Volvox with his spear, but his spear could not penetrate his skin, the unicorns and changelings try hitting him with their magic, it did nothing. Volvox looked around and saw he had many enemies, his six eyes glow, orange and white light appear in his three mouths, and he had orange light on his front feet, he stood up on his hind legs and held his front legs out, he shoots out hundreds of hellfire blasts from his front feet, hundreds of orange and white blasts from his mouths, and hundreds of black, red, and yellow beams from his eyes. Princess Cadence and Shining Armor casts shields with their horns, they were just barely able to withstand Volvox's beams, Volvox makes his three necks stretch out and his heads go into the ground, they appear inside the shields and shoot the beams, Princess Cadence and Shining Armor scream in horror as they take their shields down, the others get away from him.
Swamp Thing grabs Volvox from behind and restrains him, it causes his heads come out of the ground and back onto his body,
"Everybody, attack his heads, they're his weak points." Swamp Thing said, Goatman and Spring Heeled Jack jump onto his right head and left head respectively, Goatman tries to destroy his skeleton head while Spring Heeled Jack tried to destroy his shadow head, their weapons could not put a scratch on him. Volvox impales Swamp Thing with his tail, he disappears into the ground and reappears in front of him, fully healed, surprising the world's natives. Swamp Thing wraps vines around Volvox to entangle him, Volvox uses his hellfire powers to burn them,
"Ra, now." Amun said, and the two fuse into Amun-Ra, they float up and shoot a fire blast from the sun, Princess Celestia flew up to give them her power, the sun became a fiery blast. Volvox escapes the vines and shoots hellfire blasts from his three mouths, he fuses them into one big blast, it goes up and it enters a deadlock with the blast from the sun. The sun blast and hellfire blast make the world very hot, everybody was sweating, Swamp Thing took energy from the sun blast to make himself stronger. The Count of Saint Germain tried shooting Volvox's center head with another gun, he hits him, but the bullet bounces off, he then threw his sword at him, it hit Volvox in his left chest, but the blade bent, the sword broke and fell down. The seven bladed organic stars that came off of Volvox's spine bounce around and cut whatever they hit, the world's natives scream as they dodge them, Twilight Sparkle and Starlight Glimmer use their telekinesis to grab them and put them down. The angels throw spears at Volvox's heads, they break and bounce off as well. Swamp Thing appears behind Volvox and wraps vines around his heads, he makes sure to wrap them in his mouths to prevent him from using his hellfire blasts, he already ensnared his legs, Volvox got hit and he grunts loudly when his three heads were hit, they all got destroyed.
Volvox's body opens and poisonous snakes, spider, scorpions, and lizards fell out of his body, the dragons use their fire breaths to burn them, his heart was exposed. Everybody attacks it while he regenerates, he fully regenerated in ten seconds, shocking the world's natives,
"What?! Already?!" Rainbow Dash asked,
"That doesn't make sense, someone as big as him shouldn't regenerate that fast." Twilight Sparkle said, Volvox realized that they have found out his weakness, but he still had a few tricks up his sleeve, he shrinks himself to the size of an atom, and casts a spell to make himself invisible. Volvox uses his powers to make lava erupt from the ground, he also made a hurricane appear, along with a typhoon, a tsunami, an avalanche, a wildfire, tornadoes, acid rain, and freezing rain. Everybody screams as the acid rain falls,
"What is going on?" Starlight Glimmer asked,
"It's Volvox, this is why no mortal challenges him, he change and shape the environment to his will with his mind." Zeus replied, shocking the world's natives. Swamp Thing looks around with the microscopic algae to find Volvox, he did not see him anywhere,
"I can't find him anywhere." Swamp Thing said,
"Well, he did disappear in front of us." Twilight Sparkle replied,
"No, he didn't, he just shrunk himself to the size of an atom." Thor said,
"I still don't see him anywhere." Swamp Thing replied, Princess Luna casts a spell to find him, she detects him and senses something else,
"No wonder why you can't find him, he casted an invisibility spell." Princess Luna said, Princess Celestia casts a spell to undo it, and he became visible. Swamp Thing sees him and tries to ensnare him, but while he tries, a portal opens to the east and another Volvox came out, this one was a cyborg, horrifying the world's natives and the humans,
"You will not beat me in the past, my life is in jeopardy." Volvox said, everybody realized he was Volvox from the future. The tanks begin shooting at him and see the metallic skin on him was weaker than his organic ones, he shoots beams out of his eyes at them to destroy them, more portals opened and UFOs came out, they shoot disintegrating rays at Future Volvox, he just used his telekinesis to destroy them, more UFOs come out of the portals to fight him. Zeus, Thor, Poseidon, and Amphitrite combine their powers together to soak him and shock him in hopes it will shut him down, it only stunned him and partially immobilized him. Future Volvox teleports around and shoots his hellfire blasts everywhere, but Discord used his powers to make him turn into stone,
"No, no, no, two Volvoxes is cheating." Discord said, but Future Volvox undoes Discord's spell, the world's natives were very shocked to see Discord's magic did not work on him,
"Foolish creature, such spells don't work on me." Volvox said as he held Discord up, he vaporizes him with his eye beams, but Discord's spirit floated around to help.
Swamp Thing manages to ensnare Volvox but he shoots a big orange and white blast from the mouth of his center head, it was visible to the naked eye,
"There he is!" Applejack said, and Princess Celestia casts a spell to force him to change back to his regular size, Star Swirl the Bearded tried casting a spell to destroy him, but it did nothing to him,
"Come on, girls, let's try the Rainbow Power." Twilight Sparkle said, and the Mane Six run to the Tree of Harmony, they open the chest and obtain the Rainbow Power, Volvox shoots orange and white blasts out of his three mouths at them, they scream as they fall, they looked on in complete shock, unable to believe that Volvox would attack someone while they are transforming. The angels and UFOs deal with Future Volvox, he was destroying them all with ease, Goatman ran onto Future Volvox's tail and up his spine, he cuts his heads with his axe, Future Volvox grunted loudly and his body opened up, he had hidden artillery inside his body, everybody moved away to dodge them, Michael threw a spear into his heart and he screamed, it exploded, he fell over and died, everybody was surprised at how easily he went down. Volvox continues changing the environment around and was creating monsters to fight, Sunburst casted a spell to get rid of them,
"Hurry, I don't know how long I can keep this up." Sunburst said, the Mane Six power up with the Rainbow Power. Swamp Thing ensnares Volvox again while Spring Heeled Jack jumped onto his heads to distract him, Star Swirl the Bearded casts a spell that destroys all three of his heads at once, his body opens up again and the poisonous critters fall out, which the dragons burned with their fire breaths. The unicorns, princesses, and changelings shoot a blast from their horns together, while the Mane Six use the Rainbow Power, they hit Volvox in the heart and he screams and falls to the ground. Volvox gets up while panting and realized he had no energy,
"It's over, Volvox, your tyranny ends here." Zeus said,
"Tyranny?! You're the ones who infected the Earth with this plague you call a species! I'm saving the Earth by getting rid of them!" Volvox replied angrily, the world's natives were very shocked by what he called the humans,
"The Earth is going to develop now, your time as emperor is over." Amun-Ra said,
"I'm a god!" Volvox replied angrily,
"They're gods, too, Volvox." the Count of Saint Germain said,
"I'm your only god! I was on the Earth first! That planet was mine! I was the very first being to ever exist on there!" Volvox replied angrily, the world's natives were getting angry with him,
"The Maker said for us to share." Zeus said,
"Share after I was gone, there are many other planets out there, and of all of the planets, you had to choose mine, you could've had the humans live on a planet in the Trappist 1 system!" Volvox replied angrily,
"You brought it onto yourself, Volvox." Thor said,
"How?" Volvox asked,
"The Maker decided to put us as the creators of the planet when it saw you rule, and it saw you kill your own people." Thor replied,
"That wasn't my fault, I was the apex species of Earth, I had to show them that I still am!" Volvox said angrily,
"No." Princess Celestia said, and she flew up to him,
"You may be the most powerful creature from that planet, but that does not give the right to be cruel, you could use many lessons in sharing." Princess Celestia said,
"I'm not sharing anything, if you other deities want my planet, you'll have to kill me first." Volvox said,
"Very well." Amun-Ra relied, and they shoot a solar blast at him, Volvox did not scream or make any noises, he just accepted his death,
"Wow, that went on quickly." Twilight Sparkle said,
"I wouldn't rest yet, he's very hard to get rid of." Thor replied,
"Let's go home, it's time his demons stand trial." Swamp Thing said,
"Wait, just who are you?" Rarity asked,
"I am the avatar of the green." Swamp Thing replied,
"The green?" Twilight Sparkle asked,
"It is our home's plants." the Count of Saint Germain replied,
"Yes, I am the planet's guardian." Swamp Thing said,
"Let's take Volvox's demons with us, let's find out what really happened." Zeus said, and they go back to Earth.
Volvox's demons stood trial back on Earth with the gods, angels, and other creatures, the Mane Six, Cutie Mark Crusaders, Young Six, their world's rulers, and many other creatures from their world attended the trial as well to make sure the demons do not get away with their crimes. Swamp Thing was at the trial as well, so was the Green Lantern Corps, the Guardians of the Universe were there as well, so was the Justice League, the X-Men, Samurai Jack, the Crystal Gems, the Z Fighters, Kenshiro, Toki, the Joestar family, the Predators, the Terminator, Robocop, Takeshi Hongo, Hayato Ichimonji, Kazuya Taki, Tobei Tachibana, Aang, Korra, the BSAA, and Earth's wildlife, including several cryptids and mythical creatures, who hid the humans from Volvox's demons, and fought to protect them when they were spotted.
The demons talk about Volvox's rule within the kingdom, how he declared himself a god, tried to make the humans build statues of himself, and how long they lived depended on what shape they were in when Volvox teleported them into his kingdom against their will. The demons also talk about Volvox's pettiness, and one time, he wished for his birthday to be everyday, but one demon said that's not possible, and Volvox killed him as a result. The natives of Equestria watch the trial and realize the other people present there have fought Volvox and his demons at one point or another, some of them were crying at what they heard and watched, so was Steven Universe. The Count of Saint Germain went up and revealed what he has found while he looked for help, he revealed that all of the bad things that happened in human history happened because Volvox controlled them telepathically, the Mane Six looked on in horror when they saw it, they had tears in their eyes' when they saw the Holocaust and 9/11, they realized the humans have been living in fear of Volvox for millions of years. Twilight Sparkle watched with horror and was crying a bit, she realized Volvox was worse than Queen Chrysalis, King Sombra, and the Storm King combined.
The trial came close to the end and every demon who has served under Volvox said they had no regrets for their actions, this greatly angered the Mane Six and the others from their worlds, the Joestar family was angry as well, so was Korra, the trial ended and every demon was sentenced to death, they were executed shortly afterwards, Kenshiro and Goku were the main executioners, Princess Ember took part in the execution as well.
Six weeks pass and the humans stayed on the world they were in since the Earth was still destroyed, the palace was transferred into their world via magic as well, the natives see the sign the Count of Saint Germain saw earlier about sanctuary in the palace,
"I can't believe this happened, I hope they can recover." Twilight Sparkle said,
"I do, too, Twilight, but look, those kind people opened up their hearts to protect them from their tyrannical ruler, I think you can learn another lesson in friendship from them, that you don't have to know the person, any random person who helps you can be a friend." Princess Celestia replied, they see the Earth's native fauna and creatures helping the humans as well, Fluttershy brought her pets over to offer additional help,
"Let's go, Twilight, we should help them as well." Princess Celestia said, and they go over to help the humans recover. Hours pass and the world's natives leave while the gods, angels, extraterrestrials, and extra-dimensionals thank them. The ground bursts open and Osiris, Anubis, and Hades run to them,
"Help!" Anubis said,
"What is it?" Zeus asked,
"It's Volvox, he's taken over the afterlife!" Anubis replied, the world's natives look at him with horror, the ground opens even more and Volvox came out, he was now light blue, he was a ghost now,
"Heh, heh, heh, that's right, you foolish deities, not even the afterlife is out of my reach." Volvox said while smiling, Future Volvox came out as well,
"I'm back as well." Future Volvox said, the humans scream in horror at seeing him come back. The world's natives hurry over to help them, the two Volvoxes shoot blasts out their mouths at them, everybody tried attacking them, but everything went through them. Everybody hears roaring and sees gargoyles flying to them to help, they were able to attack Volvox and Future Volvox due to them being created to protect others from evil spirits. The two Volvoxes control hellfire together and try to burn the gargoyles, Spike burps and shoots green fire at them, the hellfire canceled out the dragon's fire immediately. The gargoyles try to slash both Volvoxes with their claws, it was not harming him, so Osiris, Anubis, and Hades join in the fight, they command the ghosts of the afterlife to hold him off. Star Swirl the Bearded casts a spell to empower the gargoyles to make their claws stronger, they soon broke the three heads of both Volvoxes, they grunt loudly and their bodies opened, revealing the venomous critters and hidden artillery. Osiris, Anubis, and Hades cast their magic together and both Volvoxes scream as their ghost forms were destroyed. The world's natives watched worriedly while the gods of the afterlife and underworld to get everything under control,
"I hope he doesn't come back." Twilight Sparkle said,
"I wouldn't count on it, he might have another thing in mind, let's keep an eye out." Zeus replied, and everybody continues with their days.
Two days pass and the humans continue recovering with the world's natives helping them, the humans lived in fear and paranoia of Volvox coming back. A big portal opens to the north and everybody sees Volvox walk out, everybody was shocked,
"So this is the universe where I lost the battle against the people, it's time to take over in his place." Volvox said, everybody realized he was Volvox from an alternate universe, where he did win the battle against this world's people and creatures. Everybody goes over to help and Alternate Volvox shrinks to the size of an atom, he begins using hellfire to burn things at a microscopic level. Swamp Thing finds him and restrains him while the unicorns cast a spell to change him back to regular size. The Mane Six use the Rainbow Power again to destroy his heads, his body opens and Zeus and Thor use their lightnings on him, they hit his heart really hard and he exploded. Alternate Volvox became a ghost,
"Oh no, not this time." Hades said as he, Osiris, and Anubis cast magic to destroy his soul, the world's natives were shocked at the fact he came back again, but they all continue with their days.
Three weeks pass and the humans continue recovering with others helping them, they were sensing something off for a week now. Another portal open and Volvox comes out, shocking the world's natives,
"You've got to be kidding me! This is getting ridiculous!" Rainbow Dash said,
"Where is this one from?!" Princess Ember asked, the gods used their magic and discovered it was Volvox from the past, from the very beginning of Earth's creation,
"I may have just been created, but I had dreams about me losing my fight here, I have to win, so I can keep my status as Earth's apex species." Past Volvox said to himself, he begins to change the environment around to make the same natural disasters from the first fight happen, he also tried to make creatures appear, but the world's natives and the Greek, Egyptian, and Norse gods cast magic together to destroy them. Everybody quickly powers up to destroy his heads, his body opened, nothing came out this time, and everybody works together to destroy his heart, Past Volvox screamed as he got killed. Past Volvox came back as a ghost and snickered, Hades, Osiris, and Anubis cast a spell together, Princess Luna joined in a fit of anger,
"No more!" Princess Luna said angrily, she was tired of Volvox coming back, the four destroy his spirit form,
"Noooooo!!" Past Volvox said as his ghost got destroyed. Princess Celestia sensed the other universes with her magic while the Count of Saint Germain traveled through time, he came back shortly afterwards,
"I don't see Volvox anywhere in history now." the Count of Saint Germain said,
"I just finished sensing the alternate universes, he's gone for good this time, he won't be hurting any of you ever again." Princess Celestia said, and they hug the humans. Stheno and Euryale carry Medusa's body to bury her, they did not help with their battles or the humans due to them being enemies with Poseidon and Athena, they left to bury their sister. The two Gorgons walk but were surprised when they saw the world's natives waiting, they noticed the humans turning into stone from looking at them, the unicorns use magic to undo it, and make them immune to their stone powers,
"Who are you three?" Twilight Sparkle asked,
"I'm Stheno, this is my little sister, Euryale, and this dead one is our youngest sister, Medusa, we had to serve under Volvox, we had to dance to please him, our youngest sister was against it, and tried to quit, Volvox killed her as a result." Stheno replied while holding back her tears,
"What are you three?" Shining Armor asked,
"We're Gorgons." Euryale replied,
"If you want, I can take care of your pet snakes." Fluttershy said,
"It's fine, thank you, we have to get going, we're in a hurry." Stheno said, and the two Gorgons walk away, they bury Medusa to the east of Volvox's kingdom.
A week passes and the world's natives ask about the kingdom while they helped the gods nurse them back to health, and helped them rebuild their society, they all learn about Tom, the human who tried to stand up against Volvox and got killed. The Mane Six, Cutie Mark Crusaders, princesses, Starlight Glimmer, Spike, and Young Six walk together when they see a human at Volvox's kingdom, they saw him put up a gravestone and then put a picture on it, they all look and saw the picture of a man, they see Tom's name at the top of the picture,
"Happy birthday, my son, if only you were around now, Volvox's rule is over, I hope my voice reaches you as I sing your favorite song." the man said, everybody realized he was Tom's father, he began to sing,
"Leaves from the vine,
Falling so slow.
Like fragile, tiny shells,
Drifting in the foam.
Little soldier boy,
Come marching home.
Brave soldier boy,
Comes marching home."
The world's natives who watched him and heard him were crying, he had tears in his eyes as well. They go to him to comfort him, Tom's father was looked at them and let them stay with him, he goes home when the sun began to set.
The humans continue rebuilding and lived peacefully, the humans who lost their loved ones to Volvox still grieved, the ponies did their best to comfort them. Princess Luna took care of the human children, she comforted them and played with them, she also visited their nightmares first to get rid of their dreams of Volvox, while there, she met a yokai called a Baku, it ate their nightmares. The humans grew and expanded and lived together peacefully with the natives of the world.
