Lyra said I had to go to SCHOOL. Ugh I can't believe this. It's so....lame. I don't know anyone here or anything. I just want to say home and watch cartoons. Wait do they even have cartoons here? Everyone, I mean, everypony is staring at me. I know I’m a human, but this is just creepy. Oh well. Lyra told the teachers name is....Cheerilee? Yeah that's it. This whole ponies talking thing confuses me still.
"Everypony this is Daniel Richards. He is a human that will be attending class with us. Please welcome him and treat him as one of your own" Cheerilee said simply. The little fillies all started whispering immediately at the mention of a human.
"A human?" "Those exist?" "Look how weird he is!" "I bet he doesn't even have a cutie mark!" they whispered. Daniel expected this much, but that last one he heard. A cutie mark? Is that the things on their back side?
"Ma'am? Uh Miss Cheerilee? What is a cutie mark...?" This seemed like an obvious question to Daniel. The immediate rush of confused and shocked fillies became way to loud.
"Let's quite down please, we have a very important lesson to get to, ...thank you." Cherilee commanded. "However a cutie mark is something us ponies get when we find our special skills. Go ahead and take a seat next to Applebloom and Silver Spoon." Um. Okay. I guess that she means her.
"Well howdy ahm Applebloom. So you're Daniel?" Daniel explained that she was right. "This here is Scootaloo, and that is Sweetie Belle. We are the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Those two that were makin' fun of ya are Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. Don't worry about em, they are just bullies." "Oh and that colt over there is Walkeen. He's only been here a day longer than you have. He's with us."
"Ahem. If you two are done I'll continue with today's lesson. We will be learning about humans! Now since we don't know that much about humans would you care to give us a brief introduction to your species Daniel?" As Daniel stuttered his way through a rough draft of humans time passed quickly.
"Okay Daniel. That is enough for now it's time for recess."
Finally something fun to do. Everypony, and human, ran outside. Daniel made it outside last not wanting to get crushed by tiny hooves.
"Hiya. The names Walkeen. Just transferred from upstate don't ya know." After the introductions were all done and over Daniel ran around chasing the Cutie Mark Crusaders for a while. Making his final lap he glanced left and saw someone watching him. He was thinking who's that right as he tripped and fell. However he landed right on a certain pony.
"Oh I'm sorry Silver Spoon I tripped." Daniel apologized. "I guess I just got...distracted?" Silver Spoon blushed bright red.
"Its quite alright I can assure you." Silver caught Diamond Tiara glaring at her. "Oh, um, I mean get off me you...fool." This concerned Daniel. She was just fine with it...and that pony...watching me who was he?"
"Come on everypony! Recess is over!" Daniel thought he was the only one that saw the stallion, but Cheerilee had too. She vowed to find out who he was, but now was not the time. Daniel just daydreamed the rest of the school day. Who was he. What did he want from me.
"Um Lyra! I'm home!" Daniel shouted through the house. Where is that silly mare? "Lyra!? Where are you?" ...where could she be? Daniel walked into Lyra's room. Awh. There she is. She is quite cute when she's asleep..."You rest your sleepy head Lyra. I’m just going to sleep here. Daniel curled up at the foot of the bed. He giggled at the irony before falling asleep dreaming of that mysterious stallion and that one filly....
